1. Payment of the redemption; illustrated with the "Kinsman-Redeemer" situation between Boaz and Ruth in the book of Ruth. This is the first visible action from the Lord only when one comes to salvation; it was predetermined in the counsel of God before the foundation of the world ( Eph. 1:4; 1 Peter 1:20).
2. Repentance being granted. This is also mentioned in Acts 11:18 and 2 Timothy 2:25.
3. Confession by the mouth as a result of believing in the heart ( Romans 10:9-13). This is an action of response to God's saving grace.
There is no other way or method to salvation but by God's prescribed measure of believing on the Son ( Matt. 11:27)
God bless.
Mount Zion founded in Zion is a fortress. The sorrows of death compassed the Psalmist yet he could say "The Lord is my rock, and my fortress" and what is our certainty? Is it not that he conquered death and he is the author and finisher of our faith. He refers to the valley of the shadow of death. Before us we have a cloud of witnesses, many martyrs ahead of us,"being destitute, afflicted, tormented;/(Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth/ And these all, having obtained a good report through faith,"(He.11:37-40) The earth is a vale of tears for those who have no hope beyond this world of shadows. "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me." It is thus we look at the two worlds of the Spirit and of this body.
" My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:/ And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand./My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand."( John 10:27-29)
Christian Living is walking by faith having no confidence in flesh but in our Savior who opened the way for us to follow. "Thy follow me" is his trust. So Living is in capital to distinguish from those Christians who walk after the earthly things.
"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me."
Testimony of Jesus shows how we should view "the emptying process" (kenosis). "And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him."( John 8:29). God sent his only begotten Son to the world. God cannot deny himself. Holiness of God is the Law so when the Word become flesh he showed he was faithful and true witness as his Father did."I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me."(v.18). This ought to explain whu the Holy Spirit has used 'only begotten' Son instead of 'created'. As Son his position as a witness can stand alone for 'I and my Father are one' is true.(John10:30). Secondly as 'the Word was with God' the sign given by Isaiah validates Word becoming flesh is validated by the Power of God. The Word has both sound (the voice of the Lord and also a sign or symbol. In giving the sign of Jonah he validates his birth being according to scriptures. He took baptism under John in order to witness that he pleased his Father. "and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:/And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." (Matt.3:16-17)
"For thou art with me" is the confession of a believer who has emptied himself off the advantages of the flesh so he falls upon the many promises of the Father which in the Son is yea. St Paul gives his confession,"Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,"(Ph.3:8) He that has the Son has the Father as well.
Mount Zion is part of the World of the Spirit (Is.28:16). It cast its long shadow.
The Holy Spirit-the God of the earth-Re.11:4-take a look,he does not confound himself with what He Himself speaks and writes, with the things the spirit that is in man also speaks and writes, according the spirit of man that is in him,it means, in the mind or heart of man.Heb.4:12-13 reveal how he discerns thoughts and intents of the heart(of man). What does the Word of GOD say? John 3:31-34:
31 He that come from above is above all(the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth sent by JESUS who proceede from the Father- John 15:26 combined with John 16:12-15.Take a look):he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaks of the earth. He that comes from heaven is above all.
32And what he has seen and heard, that(only that)he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony.
33He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that GOD is true.
34For he whom GOD has sent speaks the words of GOD:for GOD gives not the Spirit by measure unto him.
That said, who will believe in the messenger sent here by JESUS from the part of the Father-Joo 15:26-, to announce the everlasting gospel, unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people?(Re.14:6 combined with Re.11:15-18,and 1Thes.4:16,and Daniel 12:1-3,and Luke 18:8, and 21:24,and Re.11:2.Take a look)
What is the message of the everlasting Gospel? The angel MUST walks in the midst of heaven(heaven?Eph.1:3-8),having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,SAYING: Re.14:7, with a loud voice,Fear GOD,and give glory to Him;for the hour of His Judgment is come(the righteous Judgment of GOD, the Judgment Seat of of Christ):and saying:worship Him that made heaven(next heaven, the 3rd- Luke 20:35-36),and earth(Israel-the true Israelites saved and sealed-Re.7:1-8:),and the sea(Gentile nations-peoples,and nations, and multitudes of all tongues)and the fountains of waters(the Holy Scriptures- John 7:38.Take a look.
It seems you have the Bible only in your hands, but have not the Word of GOD in heart. This explain why you believe in esoteric, and kabbalistic, and spiritists,AND FICTITIOUS names of God, which Satan stealthy introduced in the OT, in Torah,Jewish Scriptures-Tanack,as if were names of the true GOD,but are fictitious NAMES from your heart are JEHOVAH,YAHWEH,YHWH,ADONAI,EL SHADAI,HaSHEM.Terrible.
The words that proceede from your heart is from a human perspective,a stumblingblock-Genesis3:1-not from GOD's perspective- Matthew 16:23.Your testimony of GOD's Word signifies nothing and is good for nothing. In fact, what I reply here is because of the readers, not you. What matters and prevails is the Word of GOD,the Word is GOD Himself- John 1:1 combined with 1John 5:7,and around 2000 years ago He,even GOD Himself, was made flesh and introduced Himself among men by the NAME of JESUS- Matthew 1:21-understand?Isaiah had prophesied, saying:"The Lord Himself shall give you a sign;Behold,a VIRGIN shall conceive, and bear a SON,and shall call His name Immanuel-Is.7:14-(it means: GOD with us).
These Truth torment your esoteric, and kabbalistic, and spiritist spirit,GOD CURSED the Devil, the tree of good and evil, the figtree. JESUS,In His Ministry, said to the Devil:Man shall not live by bread alone, but by EVERY Word that proceedeth out of the MOUTH of GOD- Matthew 4:4. The Word is GOD, the Word is GOD Himself, and the Word of the MOUTH of GOD is LITERALLY written in 66 books, KING JAMES VERSION is an edition of the book of the Lord, it is called Bible.
Oh no, my Lord JESUS never accused anyone, as you said, also my Lord JESUS NEVER USED the NAMES of Satan you have listed here, these are more false testimonies of you of JESUS's Person, it's the spirit of you is acusing JESUS,he is the Accuser, he has blinded your eyes, your own devilish words leave clear you know not my Lord JESUS.
If the supposed"glorious name Yahweh,as you say"is in your heart, it means the Devil is in your heart.
the are experiencing. Please pray right now for my family. Thanks
A wise deacon in our church has stated that we are in enemy territory currently on earth. Our state prior to salvation was an enemy of God as we were blinded by the god of this world to do his bidding ( 2 Cor. 4:4). Despite what may be assumed by some; there are numerous descriptions of hell in the Old Testament. There are also references to heaven and the Millennial reign of saints ( Psalm 61 seems to be a veiled reference to David in that capacity; for instance). We see also in the famous passage in Job 19:27 which alludes to a bodily resurrection where he will see God. Psalm 63:9 is another reference to hell; in sending enemies to the "lowest parts of the earth." As much as we may not comprehend these eternal truths; Proverbs 8:36 states that "all who hate me love death." (see also John 3:19-21 and 1 John 2:11).
Jesus makes it clear that He is the only way to salvation in John 10:9 and many other passages state the same thing; often in parables. Those who are not enlightened to this truth often have some scripture knowledge, but they can only see general statements about living a righteous life or see descriptions of God and only see God from afar; much as the Israelites did when wandering through the wilderness. Somehow man's myopic perspective focuses on characters in the Bible and considers those who were a prophet; or a "good teacher" and not understanding who is truly good; that is God alone ( Mark 10:18). This is why the man called Christ good in that passage; he was only seeing Him through human lenses rather than His true position as God in the flesh which only God Himself can reveal to someone ( Matt. 16:17).
These truths explain why man underplays his spiritual condition; he sees outer works and judges himself on them; and that based on his own set of scales weighing in his heart the "good vs. the bad"; ignoring God's perfect Holy standard. Worse still; he is blind to his sin NATURE which can only be changed God's way
Fulness of Christ does not restrict his glory to one aspect of human existence. "Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him."(Ro.6:9)Both worlds of the Spirit and of the body consist of this completeness."And by him all things consist."(Col.1:16-17) So writer to the Hebrews refer to where the Good Shepherd is leading us to. "Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:/Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they."(He.1:3-4)
Those who deny the works that Jesus Christ from the right hand of the Majesty on high are leaving for the false shepherds license to muddle the still waters of Shiloah, which is very much how the enemy would want it to be understood.
"he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake." Holding truth in unrighteousness, those who have begun well have shown to be liars. "Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?"(Gal.3:3) Another place we read, "For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things."(Ph.3:18-19). Look at all the culture wars who stoke them but Satan?
"But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption."
Psalm 23 as with Ps.2 are to be studied from both worlds holding together in his Son. Here we see him as the Good Shepher while Psalm 2 Jesus Christ as the king of kings.
"He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake./Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me."
"For his name's sake" is what holiness does. Holy is his name as Mary would cry out inspired by it is doable. "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father./And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son./ If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it." John 14:12-14)
Manufacturing names gave the nation of Israel something to crow about which simply meant nothing since holiness of their names did not go deeper to be 'be holy for I am holy." Their heart was not right that they observed the minutiae of the requirements of Law without knowing the fulfillment of the Law was represented in the Son whom God had sent. They rejected him proving that their heart was estranged all along. A no better example we need seek than the time God gave the nation of Israel the decalogue. "And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die."(Ex.20:19). Jesus was among them when a voice from heaven spoke. "Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again./The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him./Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes."( John 12:28-30) God had judged their hypocrisy.
Holiness of name is doable and a clear proof of it is in the glory it sheds."I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do."(17:4) Jesus Christ in his humanity finished the work proving it was doable.
Re. "We are complete in Jesus Christ. In the Gospel of St John we are shown what it is to be in his image, and in our likeness. "All things were made by him."( John 1:3). The Word was with God and when He made man a living soul the word became a part of us. This soul established we were accountable to God for soul was His very essence and also as a witness. When we die to sin and the word we are set in heavenly places and also provided with a building of God, spiritual body to be precise.
Please read as follows:
We are complete in Jesus Christ. In the Gospel of St John we are shown what it is to be in his image, "and after our likeness". "All things were made by him."( John 1:3). The Word was with God and when He made man a living soul the word became a part of us. This soul established we were accountable to God for soul was His very essence and also as a witness. When we die to sin and the world we are set in heavenly places and also provided with a building of God, spiritual body to be precise.
Please read as
"He restoreth my soul."
We are complete in Jesus Christ. In this context we need reexamine the divine Will concerning us in the Abstract. "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:"(Ge.1:26) God a Spirit while any likeness the man could have is from the Son who is the visible image of him. The body 'thou hast prepared me is in the same image of the body that awaits us when our earthly tabernacle is dissolved. The other natural body is earthy while the lord from heaven is the Word become flesh. Our completeness is in that we have a better body reserved in heaven, "For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven."(2 Co.5:2).
Our assurance is that our soul is in safekeeping so being in Christ,"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." This is the new alignment so peace with God means the likeness of Trinity is written as thus: our body is same spiritual body as that of the lord in heaven; our indwelling Spirit is the third office in Trinity. "And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace."( John 1:16)
In the sign of dew on the fleece God showed Gideon holds a lesson as to how we shall fare after death. Our soul wears the spiritual body. Our lives are turned inside out. Christ becomes the head for all. Abiding in Christ being abound in fruits of the Spirit therefore is essential. To live only in flesh and blood is to deny fulness of Christ.
"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want".
Gospel of John explains why. "And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace." (1:16) St Paul has this to say,"For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?"(1 Co.4:7)God having foreknown us in his Son has also blessed so it is from both worlds of the Spirit and body. Faith is one so we speak trusting fully that all that is needful for our life and godliness has been met in our abiding life. He is the Good Shepherd and we are his flock.
"He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters".
St John writes,"I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture."(10:9)
Still waters of Shiloah that goeth softly is how God of all Mercies has blessed the land to which the Spirit sets a heavenly pattern,-"There isa river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holyplaceof the tabernacles of the most High."(Ps.46:4). Jesus as the Good Shepherd knows his sheep since it is his Father has put them under his care. "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:"(10:27). In following his path bearing our cross daily this pasture is in the now. Our physical bodies may be aching and we may be experiencing bereavement, ill health and calumny from the world but his grace does wonders as St Paul experienced when caught up to the third heavens and this unspeakable glory of Jesus as the restorer of our souls. St Paul's malady is ours too. The enemy is at the gates while our weak bodies are most vulnerable but what is our 'pick-me-up? "My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness."(2 Co.12:2,9)
"He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake."
The Holy Spirit has not given any direct reference to what other sheep Jesus Christ is referring to than from St Paul's reference to breaking down the middle wall of partition. To my mind God of all mercies has left his Son to fulfill his works so from heaven an angel announces everlasting gospel, " to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,"(Re.14:6).
Meanwhile we have ceased from our 'works' but become part of his life. So our fruits from our abiding life in Christ (I am the true vine) is as natural as it can be. In thee is the fountain of life and in thy light we see the light is how we ought to think of our lives. So let our Savior finish his work and we rest in our blessed hope which is one.
Heavenly Father, I stand along with RicoUS, please protect, save, heal, deliver.us. What is happening in this world, we need miracles. Spirit of the living God fall fresh on Your children. We are warriors, we want victory in our battles.
Thank you Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Amen
Justification.
Sanctification.
Glorification.
If you are a Christian, you are guaranteed all three steps (see Romans 8:29-30).
You are forever justified, you are being sanctified, and you will for sure be glorified.
1 Corinthians 6:11.
All three of these things are from God's grace, not because of anything you have done or will do to earn them. see Ephesians 2:8-9.
You cannot earn your justification, you cannot achieve your sanctification, and you cannot merit your glorification.
You can do nothing without Christ.
John 15:4-5.
Romans 3:10-24.
God bless and Good night.
The gospel is not good advice.
However, the gospel is much more than good news!!
The gospel is "the power of God UNTO salvation".
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16.
The gospel is power!
Good advice is not worth the snap of the fingers unless there is power to see it through.
There is three steps to our Salvation.
Justification.
Sanctification.
Glorification
Justification is "an act of God whereby He pronounces a sinner to be righteous because of that sinner's faith in Christ." We are justified, or declared righteous, at the moment of our salvation.
Sanctification is "the process by which Christians are set apart for God from the rest of the world, or the process by which Christians are made holy." Progressive, or experiential, sanctification, as it is sometimes called, is the effect of obedience to the Word of God in one's life. It is the same as growing in the Lord ( 2 Peter 3:18) or spiritual maturity.
Glorification is "God's final removal of sin from the life of the saints so that they stand faultless before Him in glory in eternity"
As Christians, we were justified when we confessed Christ and believed ( Romans 10:9), we are sanctified as we grow in holiness through the work of the Spirit.
Ephesians 4:11-32; Galatians 5:16-24, and we will someday be glorified when we are resurrected into eternal life ( Colossians 3:4).
Justification is a one-time event, sanctification is a process, and glorification is a future event.
If you are a Christian, you are guaranteed all three steps.
THE GOSPEL IS "THE POWER OF GOD UNTO SALVATION!
God bless.
Jesus' accusation against the Jews & their father being the devil ( John 8:40-44) was because they refused to believe His Words & had set about to kill Him - nothing at all to do with the Names Jesus used and gave of God to the people (i.e. Names: God, Father, Lord). The Names of God in the Bible are true & valid Names (whether in Hebrew, Aramaic, or Greek), that God Himself revealed ( Exodus 6:3, Exodus 3:15), which those of the OT referred to, that Christ proclaimed, & spoke of & believed upon by His followers. Your agenda in this matter is dubious & malicious against the Holy Name of God & His Christ, when you say that the glorious Name of Yahweh, which was given to Israel, is of the devil.
And it's pointless referring to Isaiah 9:6 (if you're suggesting that Jesus (or the Word) is the Name of God - a matter you avoid clarifying), when many Scriptures throughout the NT show to us that the God of Heaven is still seated on the Throne, to Whom Jesus prayed, the people were pointed to, & to Whom Jesus ascended now seated at His right Hand. Please study the Scriptures fully, rightly dividing the Word, believing the Word, then we might have a true foundation for discussion.
I agree there are many people who claim they are "Christians" but don't walk the walk, however, I don't quite understand what you mean that Paul hadn't reached "salvation." Salvation is when we sincerely repent and accept Christ as our Savior and we are in God's good graces, we can trust that Heaven is our destination as long as we continue to walk in the Spirit. Paul was definitely saved, a true believer. It's perfection in the Christian life that we want to reach for, through the perfecting power of the Holy Spirit. We learn how to reach this perfection by sincere, consistent prayer, study of God's word and fasting, in always loving our Savior and by living a holy, righteous life, WITHOUT sin, which we must do. Some people believe that because we are human we are too weak to live without sin (sinning/christian doctrine) but to me that also says that the redeeming, divine blood of Christ is too weak to overcome our sinful natures. Not So! This doctrine ignores that we CAN live without the "old man nature" because Christ told us to. See Eph 4:21-24, Galatians 5:16, Galatians 5:19-21 and Galatians 5:24. This doctrine doesn't differentiate between faults/weaknesses, (same thing), and sins. EXAMPLE: If you are angry and jealous with someone at work and you always want to lash out at them but instead you trust the Holy Spirit to keep you from lashing out and to learn to love this person in Him, it stays a weakness until eventually the anger and jealousy change to the patient love of Christ and the weakness is overcome. But if you give in to the anger and jealousy and are always sullen and unkind to this person this mindset is sinful, your soul is in danger of being lost. Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." These two promises don't go together, they are an either/or promise from God. One is for sin, the other for righteousness. God bless :)
(I assume you are of age for such decisions posting on this site).
I suppose I shouldn't assume one way or another if this family calls themselves Christian or not. That definitely would affect how you or he would interact with them; for instance if he needs to be bolder about his own convictions of faith and call them out for being hypocritical. Naturally they need to respect you and the relationship; that is something he will have to consider moving forward as well and if he is willing to make the hard decisions necessary if he needs to move out himself first; etc. Obviously what you don't want to do is move in together and compromise in the meantime.
Ultimately whatever happens in the relationship if you both know the Lord you have an eternity in your hearts; and are seated in heavenly places with heavenly treasures set forth. Committing time to scripture reading and prayer both by yourselves and together no doubt is something you are aware of but the enemy I would surmise is doing his best to block that from happening.
I will pray for clarity on these issues and state that if the Lord wants this relationship to continue He will overcome all obstacles.
Hope there is some good news on this front soon.
God bless; Rich P
Normally; of course there is some crossover; I believe the Lord often uses someone who is very open and instills the spiritual gift.
The danger here is that when we sense evil we are overwhelmed quite often; I assume it isn't the presence of God around someone that causes too much of your distress. That can be overwhelming though as well.
First off; if someone is truly being driven by a demon you need to be able to stand on the authority of the Lord; and become wise as to when to say something and when to remain silent and in a prayer mode. The Lord likely will make that clear to you if for instance; someone starts manifesting then you need to take charge and perhaps do a deliverance. That involves several things; such as getting a person to want to repent of strongholds that are giving a demon legal authority to torment them.
There are some out there openly worshipping the Devil; and others who are influenced that way who want nothing to do with God. God of course gives us a spirit of boldness; not fear. It is helpful to understand common sins that bind people and also be cautious that you yourself aren't tempted. The enemy will give you many doubts but if you are called for deliverance ministry others will be there to guide you in what to do.
What is another factor here is sensing these things in the congregation; again when there are problems often sin has entered the camp so to speak. What we don't know right away are the physiological and other issues that give us a more complete picture of what's going on until we get to know somebody better. I find it helpful when I sense the Lord strongly around someone to find out why; and hopefully learn something from them. I pray you can balance your gifts with others.
I have had things taken from me in the past; not from family members but from a coworker who kept "borrowing money" and not returning it. I was married at the time and on a limited budget; I finally confronted him and was going to fight a guy much larger than me. It turned out that he got fired shortly after that anyway; no doubt related to his "special projects" where merchandise from my place of employment was going into his own packages. I spent much of my childhood having things taken from me (largely due to my own stupidity); and was actually accused of taking something from the roommate of my girlfriend at the time and ended up paying her off to keep the authorities out of it and having to confess to something I didn't do.
My first prayer is that the Lord will make it clar just how to deal with it; whether there is a way out (i.e. moving out); or someone you can trust; or even a stranger who intervenes. The wicked will be caught at what they do. I am uncertain of specifics here as to your age; who you are actually living with that is in question or if it is money coming out of your account; etc.
I also would recommend that you diversify your assets; and of course not reveal where they are. That is hard; of course if you are at home and your parents are doing this. A general admonition of the Gospel and results of sin could be attempted. I am reasonably certain there are other factors here (again not being privy to whether there is some sort of addiction or other factors behind this).
I pray that if you have children or other innocent victims of this for the Lord to intervene and give you wisdom how to protect them.

Whenever I feel the ay you describe I remind myself of how Elijah felt when he had run from Jezebel to the cave in I Kings 19 feeling as though he alone was zealous for God and His ways. God told Elijah that He had set apart 7000 in Israel that have not bent their knee to Ba'al nor kissed the image with their mouths. God spoke to Elijah in His still small voice, reassuring Elijah that he was not alone in following God whole heartedly and lifted up the prophet's spirit into being hopeful and courageous to go from the cave and do just as God told HIm to do.
We. too, can trust that God is able to keep those who are His and bring them to hope and assurance of having many brethren that are like you and I and many on this site. The world is full of strong Christians who are fighting the good fight of faith and obedience, many facing martyrdom. But in the U.S. and Europe, much complacency, as you state. Like you, I hate those whose witness is so shallow that any demand of discipleship is seen as too much for them to pursue and the commands of Christ in his recorded words in the gospels and what He spoke through Paul and other apostles are seen as an impingement on their "freedom in Christ".
Indeed, we are free in Christ, to do what is good and right, not to continue in evil ways and worldliness. Perhaps many people who live carnally for themselves, for their comfort, and for their preferred sins have been ill-taught, but anyone who truly searches the Scriptures knows that we are to live godly lives in this wicked generation, fight against the sinful nature that we all have up until our body dies, and resist the lies and deceptions of the wicked one who wants to woo us into complacency, desensitize us to our own sinful ways and that of the community we live in (socially and society wise), and have us believe that right is wrong and wrong is O.K. for believers as well as unbelievers. He will lull any who are not diligent and careful.
I hope you are doing well these past few weeks. Miss having you posting here, but sometimes we all need a little break. I am thinking of you and, of course, keeping you in my prayers.
Those things which you do...

"Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision." Philippians 3:2 KJV
But beware
"Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:12 KJV
Has hasn't yet attained the prize and has not been perfected yet, but strives to (v15).
"For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:" Philippians 3:20 KJV
What stood out to me about these verses is:
1. Paul gives a series of challenges and leads by example. He writes that Christianity is something that is practiced, involves effort, is an action, by doing, like running a race to receive a prize. Not that he's earning it by works. This is clarified many times. But genuine and not a 1-minute prayer someone made 30 years ago where nothing changed and nothing was practiced since.
2. Paul says he hasn't yet attained the salvation. He has hope for salvation, but doesn't say he was already "saved" and finished and can just sit around watching Seinfeld reruns.
The reason for sharing: I think it might help someone, because what I hear in sermons and the way people talk, it seems Christians don't take Christianity very seriously. There's little to no transformation. Paul says to become a slave of righteousness, and people are like, "no thanks, I didn't sign up for that." They're acting like they got a golden entry ticket and they're done. They assume they don't have to change, can continue to deeply enjoy sin, enjoy flesh, and enjoy the benefits of satan. Though they don't realize who they're actually following.

You are giving a great highlight about JESUS's work, and quoted John 10:16, that says: Other sheep I have, which are not of this fold (the Gentiles): them also I MUST bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. In my vision, JESUS was speaking of His Universal work bringing the Gentile people to salvation according the plan of GOD the Father in to create one Universal fold and one Universal Shepherd.
There is an wonderful and wise interpretation of Paul Apostle, saying to the Church of Ephesians 2:12-18
12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without GOD in the world:
13 But NOW in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
14 For He is our peace, who hath MADE BOTH ONE, and hath BROKEN DOWN the middle wall of partition between us;
15 Having abolished in His flesh the enmity, even the Law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in Himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
16 And that He might reconcile both unto GOD in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off (the Gentiles), and to them that were nigh(the Jews).
18 For through Him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. - Hallelujaaaah!!!
