They didn't have refrigeration. Uncooked warm pork is quite lethal. Dietary laws were for peoples Protection.

It's a fun study to read the dietary restrictions

And Google foods these days that must be refrigerated and cooked to certain temperatures to pass food laws.

I've understood it to be similar to Simon called Peter: Matthew 4:18, Matthew 10:2, different than Acts 8:9, & Luke, Acts 10:18, Acts 13:1, Acts 13:9, Acts 14:2, notice in Acts, the same book, there are multiple names referenced even a wind, Acts 27:14, Acts 27:8, Hebrews 11:18,

Matthew 1:6 Jesus called Christ, John 4:25, Luke 6:15, John 1:42, John 11:16, not Colossians 4:11,

Romans 2:17, Romans 7:3, same supposed writer as Acts , also Romans 9:26

    Matthew 26:14, Luke 23:33, John 19:13, John 19:17, Acts 6:9, Revelation 11:8,

    Revelation 12:9,

Luke 2:4, Luke 8:2, John 21:2, different than Acts 9:11,

    Acts 1:23, Acts 9:36,

    Colossians 3:15, 1John 3:1,

Hopefully these are all helpful in your study

Only Simeon was called Niger, just because he was black. The English word Niger originates from the Latin Nigrum (greek Negros) which means black. Niger were called the people living to the south of Egypt, the land that the ancients called Aithiopia (also Nubia), todays Sudan and further south.

I love to think about this Jesse David and Solomon Kingdom....I see these 3 men as being symbolic of the heavenly Kingdom/ Trinity...In Isaiah 11 :1 Isaiah uses these 3 men which were Father Son and Granson as being symbolic of a kingdom coming in the last days...When God was gonna visit his ppl the 2 nd time ...There shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse...Which was David a type of Christ that came outa of the stem of God Almighty..And a branch shall come out of Davids loins which was Solomon the Granson ... Isaiah 11 :11 .... Isaiah cd not use these 3 men as symbolic of a kingdom coming in the last day simply b/c they had all been dead for approx. 300 yrs ...All this was just prophetic that a Heavenly Kingdom that wd come the last days when God wd visit his ppl the 2 nd time...This 2 nd coming and this last day Kingdom wd be a Trinity kingdom of FATHER SON AND GRANSON That wd be multiplied as the Stars of heaven...The H.G. is the 3 rd person The Child that comes out of Christ loins...Thats y Isaiah referes to Jesus as everlasting Father simply b/c he propagates very God with his words his breath which is his seed.

...Also this Abrahamic Trinity was Father Son and Granson...That God Promised to multiply as the sands of seas in multitudes.

....When God told Moses that his NAME was Abraham Issac and Jacob that is just prophetic that his Kingdom wd be a father Son and Granson Kingdom without this Granson Jacob and the 12 tribes this Abrahamic Trinity cd not be multiplied as the Sands of the Seas....And thats the way the Heavenly Kingdom the H.G. An Israel of God will be multiplied as the stars of heaven by the Regeneration of the H.G...When the sower will go forth to sow his precious seed in humanity...Resulting in a birth of Christ in everybody....Thats the New Covenant an intimacy with Humanity...I will know them all from the least to the greatest Thus there will be an Israel of God as the Stars of Heaven in multitude .GB

I woke up on Jan 2014, and felt compelled to study the book of Revelation. And prior to that I have never read the bible all the way through, just bits and pieces, and rarely go to church, but I got saved & baptized when I was around 10 give or take.

So I started studying revelation on my own, and I believe that GOD has been guiding me. I started reading revelation, but didn't quite understand it to much. And I felt compelled to go on youtube and do some research. So I did, and listened to quite a few pastors talk about revelation, but what some of them where saying, just didn't seam to coincide with what I had read in revelation, even though I really myself didn't quite understand it. But something kept tugging on my heart. Now when I started this studying, I went into it with an opened mind, but I always knew GOD was a GOD of "order" and keeping things simple.

So I finally came across a pastor on youtube preaching & teaching revelation. And I felt with my heart that I found the right pastor that GOD evidently wanted me to find, but it took a while.

So anyway, I felt like my eyes have been opened up, and now I'm beginning to understand the bible a lot better.

From what I understand now as in ( Acts 1:9-11, Rev 1:7, Rev 6:12-17, Rev 7:13&14, Matt 24:29-31, Mark 13:24-27, Luke 21:25-28) kinda puts the rapture in the middle of the so called 7 year tribulation.

    I would like your opinion,

    Have a blessed day.

    Thanks,

    Doug

Thanks for your description about king James version which you sent me before.

I have one more question please elaborate this one. I have read some where that,

The King James Version (also called the "Authorized Version," even though King James never gave the finished version his royal approval) is revised several times.

Can you please explain what does this mean.

    Thank you.

If we the people of the Lord Jesus Christ. would have a heart like King David , quick to repent ,do God's work without complaining,or questioning . We to.could be bless like King David . The Bible says that David was after God's own HEART. Could we just for a moment think that for ourselves, our schools, our neighborhood, our cities, our nations. We wouldn't be so scared or worried to let our children go to school. Or go out for a drive with family,or just a walk to the store. Now in the condition of our country ,our World is in. We should remember the scripture in 2 Chronicles 7:14 1) If my people, which is called by my name, humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways , than I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. So God's people if we know the scripture. It's talking to to the . people that attend Church ? Not just attend but live it , walk it, read it, breath it and Obey it. So Church let's not just say we are Christians, but live it,pray God please forgive.us of sins and Heal our Lands. In turn the sin of this Nation will be forgiven, our Nation will prosper again the pandemic will go away our children will be healed. Don't we want the U.S. to be respectful again. Our land to yield again mental health be healed. Amen May Jesus bless YOU .

How interesting is your insight into the scripture. It is an everlasting well spring! The water is pure and refined in such a way , yet true!

The spirituality of the heavenly , drawing the picture, if you will that so many want to see!

The love of God for His creation, the back up plan, that would be the beginning of another beginning! Nothing ever lost, only the soul that denies Him a place in the heart!

The words of Christ will grip you, taking its time too refine the mind, with the pure water in the holiness of His word!

We will enter into the wilderness often, it is part of the birthing, until the next moment we are once again, met with the accuser!

Soon I hope, I will see the road ahead, the road that I have traveled but never knew! The road that Jesus carried me on and traveled so many times! How many times He carried me, while I slept?

Christ would travel these roads, going the long distances to seek and to save those who are lost!

Soon we will see Him, we will see His footprints, and know that we are on the right path! In, the confidence that Faith is the key to everything that is God! Hoping in Him that we will no longer sleep, but will be kept alive looking unto Him, our author and finisher of the glory that is in Him!

The commissioning of the King James Bible (hence the name) was authorized so by King James 1 in 1604.

Why the King James Version instead of other Bibles? For me, accuracy plays a large role in what scripture is to us -- especially given this was translated to English out of many other ancient languages (ancient Hebrew, Aramaic, koine Greek, etc). However, the origin of the texts which Erasmus had used when translating the New Testament (for instance) of the King James Bible comes from an Antioch text. This text was much older and authenticated which was for a time hidden during the Byzantine wars. The text of translation of 98% of modern Bibles comes from an Alexandrian text which was found later in Egypt and is clearly missing verses which are in the Antioch (King James Bible). For instance (do some research on this for comparison), the NIV is a very popular modern Bible version which was first published in the 1960's. Yet, it's missing over 15 verses in the N.T. alone.

We should never be reading an incomplete Bible or one in which verses had been removed as I would equate this to the warning in Revelation 22:18 & 19
  • Daniel - In Reply - 2 years ago
Amen Juarez. The problem is, many in the modern church haven't read Daniel or about Bible prophesy well. The "no rapture" or "the rapture is simply the 2nd coming" even replacement theology which is like a plague in this discussion all come from heretic doctrines.

One of the strongest proofs of a Pretribulation Rapture is the event of the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet in Daniel 9:27 and then again by the Jesus Himself in Matthew 25:15. This is the event when the Antichrist will claim to be god from the temple in Jerusalem, and demand that the world worship him or be killed. From this blasphemous event, it will be exactly 3 1/2 years until the Lord's SECOND COMING ( 2nd Thessalonians 2:4).

Since the Bible plainly states that no man knows WHEN the Rapture will occur ( Matthew 25:13), we must conclude that it will be a Pretribulation Rapture, because we DO KNOW it will be exactly 3 1/2 years between the abomination of desolation and the SECOND COMING.

1st Thessalonians 4:14-18, "For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words."

All Christians will be removed from the earth at the Rapture. However, the Bible teaches that sinners will be saved after the Rapture, during the Tribulation Period ( Revelation 7:14). We read in the Book of Revelation that the Beast will make war against the saints ( Revelation 13:7). These will be people saved during the 7-year Tribulation.

I have a problem with my memory. My heart works better than my brain. So cool, knowing how the well spring works! Your interpretation of the shedding of blood and water are the birthing of the holy spirit through faith in the resurrection through and in the death of Christ! Gbu, Alex
  • Spunky - In Reply - 2 years ago
Certainly not. Where and why are CHRISTIANS getting this?

Saints WILL NOT go through Tribulation. God/Jesus will NOT and CANNOT PUNISH righteousness.

    Please think about it!

Thankfully, all you Saints that think you will go through the Tribulation are going to be elated and pleasantly surprised. Besides, aren't you already looking for Christ's return? You aren't saying, "God, hope it's soon?" We will be begging for Jesus if today's trend continues. The tribulation will be HELL on EARTH, as meant to be --that my friend is saved for the evil.

Wake up from your slumber --be ready.

  • Spunky - In Reply - 2 years ago
    Lynne,

I was a little confused on your question itself. I myself have never questioned Heaven/Hell and their being anything in between (other than Earth) But I'm hearing more of this in last year or so, than ever. Like Jesus went to Hades or hell between death and resurrection. I never have believed that and nothing in scripture to support that.

If I'm spelling "Hades" correctly; "Hades" in not in the bible. Case closed. Plus, "Hades" comes from Greek mythology and would be pagan. [Simple search from this site will show you too.] Therefore, your previous understanding/teachings of the bible may be off a bit.

Paradise is in the Bible and mentioned three times all NT. Paradise seems to be another word for heaven, or I personally think a particular tier/place in Heaven. Heaven is mentioned 551 times Surprisingly, "Heaven and heaven of heavens" is quite a bit. Again, structure/tier.

I looked up Lazarus too; he's mentioned 15 times. Jesus does use another Lazarus as a parable (Luke16). So, a bit confused on exactly what you meant.

Hope that helped. If not, ask the Holy Spirit to help discern.

    In Christ,

Hiya Fred Gbu i think that you are doing very good in that you are interested in an INTIMACY with the Godhead....27 times in the O.T. The prophets saw the World in travail and birth pains....When he was on the Cross and they pierced him out came the blood and the water, he was initiating a New Covenant in his blood....A birthing Covenant as water and blood is indicative of a birth we must all be bornagain which requires an intimacy via his seed the word.

..... Zech 12 :10...They shall look on me whom they have pierced and mourn for him as one who in mourning for his 1st born, His only son...And be in bitterness as one who is in bittereness for his 1st born , our only son....Which is The son of man our 1 st born our only son in the spritual realm that is gonna be multiplied as the Stars of Heaven.

.....Smite the shepherd and the sheep will be scattered .Then i will turn my hand to the lil ones...Our 1st born our only son via his seed indicative of a Intimacy with Christ...Which is the regeneration of Christ the H.G. The washing of the H.G.

.....Not by works of righteousness which we have done but by the washing of the H.G. THE REGENERATION OF Christ the lil ones the H.G. Will regenerate themselfs in humanity via his seed the living word....Making us all clean Titus 3 : 5 kjv...That was the great Promise that Christ wd be multiplied as the Stars of Heaven...Which is the pouring out of his spirit on all flesh JOEL 2: 28..I will know them ALL a birth ...ok GBU FRED

    Galatians 5:22-24. John 15:1-6.

I am in agreement with you Douglas for that is what the Word states. It is my opinion that Revelation 11:15 indicates the last trump, and fits congruently with Paul's writings. With the voice of the archangel (Michael as indicated in Daniel is he who withholdeth). The devil's tribulation for 42 months precedes God's wrath. If you reason things out with scripture regarding the pre-trib doctrine of men, why doesn't the Bible speak of the third coming of Christ? Because the second coming is the Lord collecting His elect, taking flaming vengeance on the unbelieving, completing the mystery of God as indicated in Revelation 10.

The concept that the church is separate and distinct from the Jews or any other faith or religion is a doctrinal fallacy, each of us are graffed into the body of Christ as believers which is and was and is to come & the entirety of the bible is for ALL of us. The gospel from Paul was him expounding all of the old testament scriptures which Jesus fulfilled, not pontificating his own letters. Rightly dividing the word did not mean to pick and choose what you want, but to consider all things written when harmonizing the scriptures.

    Real eyes realize real lies...

    Respectfully,

    Isa 61:2-3

    1 Thes 3:4

    2 Thes 1: 6-10

1 Cor 15:50. The dead will be raised when Christ comes the Second time. Not everone will go to heaven at the second coming John 5:29. Compare the two verses you will see they are the same. Ecclesiastes 3: 20 tells us all return to the dust. Verse 21 says the SPIRIT GOES TO THE GOD ( Eccles 12:7 Also). Now note : Gen 2 :7 says man became a living being after the breath of life is given by God, so when the breath departs as you read in Eccles then man is dead waiting for the second coming. Read John 11 :23 and 24 for confirmation of 1 Cor 15 and John 5:29

    Hi Joe.

You're right, and I would like to take it a step further. We fear God because we see our uncleanness and know he's Holy. That wrath ordained to an unbeliever we don't have to concern ourselves with but his chastening we do. We are to examine ourselves to see that we our in the faith or not. Is the spirit leading us in ministering and are we living a life where the spirit has changed us from doing the "works of God" by command or doing Gods work by the fruit of the spirit.

    God bless.

Your answer is in verse 4 of 1Cor chapter 12. There are a variety of gifts the list in verses 8-10 is not exhaustive just as Paul says just as the body has many parts verse 12.In verse 29-30 he also states some gifts but are they still 9. Thus he just named a few.

    Perhaps here

Joel 3:2. I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.

    I hope this helps.
