In Mark, Chapter 15, Verse 1, a group known as the Chief Priests were mentioned. I would like to know, what group of people made up the group known as the Chief Priests? Who were they . where did they come from, how did they wield so much power as to sway Pilate?

The verses you related concern Christs 2nd coming. I don't believe the bible scripture relates to "a rapture" or a secret event of Christ coming prior to Christs 2nd coming. Many modern day Christians believe this rapture doctrine, even though it goes against over 18 centuries of solid traditional Church doctrine. These modern day Christian's believe Christ will come to deliver them prior to the Great Tribulation. It's wishful thinking, human nature, and leave it to Man to always be trying to figure an easy way out, but the scripture really does not support this.

As the world continues to deteriorate in sin, as Christians we need to be realistic, and stop fantasizing, and focus on God's second coming, and realize we will not receive any better treatment than all of the Christians that have suffered and died before us. At some point we will be suffering, and exposed to the Great Tribulation as related by God in the scripture. God will guide us through this too, and the scripture supports that even though we will be present during the Tribulation, He will protect, and provide his believers with safe places to hide on earth, as the end time prophesies unfold.

Then Christ's 2nd coming:

Hebrews 9:28

"So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation."

Sam, thank you so much for binding together with me in prayer on behalf of this precious family that has been sifted by satan. Please pray with me for their healing, deliverance, and restoration. Many many souls were saved through their ministry and I truly believe God can restore them and and everything that the cankerworm,locust,and caterpillar have eaten. It will require much repentance on their parts I think. And a lot of grace for the righteous to restore them in a spirit of gentleness should they find that place of repentance!

Father, I pray for mercy today for this woman who had such a great calling on her life. Lord please work miracles today. Please Lord save, heal, forgive, and restore Sister Jill. Do NOT let the devil have her Jesus. Put the fight in her Lord. Put up a hedge of protection around her and help her to truly seek You with all her heart. In Jesus name.Amen

Bro Dan, I too liked you comment and have been thinking about writing myself on the same rapture subject. Also thinking of a reply that stated the Sixth Trumpet as some kind of evidence for the notion of a rapture. Heading to Church soon on the first day of the week. God bless our walks in conversation.

Flywheel, a movie I found years ago free on YouTube, was so anointed, even though I'm assuming it was very low budget etc. I highly recommend all these movies.

I am on the web learning about how to be healthier. Hopefully the newest trend globally will be " food as medicine." I found an awesome mentor named Dr. William Li. And Dr. Eric Berg is helpful too. Incidentally, I lost 30 pounds by changing what I was eating (because I wasn't feeling good). I asked prayer for my health and only 2 months later I'm much healthier! Praise God! And I'M LEARNING how to use food to heal illness. I'm learning that God gave us everything we need to take great care of our " temples" and none of it comes from a drive thru. I am beginning to understand why it's so important. My cholesterol was through the roof and in 2 months of clean healthy fat eating it is completely normal. BP also way down! I went off a steroid inhaler. Was on 1200 mg of ibuprofen daily and have cut that down to occasional use. The Lord is faithful. He is helping me to listen. Entertainment to pass time? We should be enjoying this life that He gifted us.

If you can't get out and walk or hike, I highly recommend Tim Janis videos on YouTube for meditation, stress reduction, visualization, and for prayer time search Dappy T Keys.

Thanks for letting me know this, and I was surprised and perplexed to see my post deleted. No mention of it to me from moderator(s) just deleted my post.

Like you, I have noticed many more posts of others deleted as of late. As you know we live in a ever increasing "Cancel Culture" society, so I'm not surprised we may be getting spillover of this mentality here on this site.

I'm reminded daily that we are truly progressing to the end times, and this verse brings it home to me.

Isaiah 5:20

"Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!"

Today, Satan and his workers control of almost every aspect of current life, even good and evil are twisted to mean exactly the opposite of what they traditionally have been understood to mean.

Centuries of proven traditional Christian thinking and beliefs, have been manipulated, and progressively turned upside down, and replaced with "feel good Theology" and misguided doctrine.

There are so many Christians today "living worldly lives" and putting their faith in "the modern church doctrine" such as Rapture, OSAS, and Grace plus Faith and nothing else, and other unorthodox beliefs that are in total conflict with the traditional Christian doctrine as applied over many centuries, including from the very beginning of The Church.

I agree Gigi , Bro Dan's post was fine with me and I enjoyed it , I don't like the thought that it has been removed and I'm perplexed as to why it was , I read lots of stuff on here that I definately don't agree with but I never ask for anything to be removed unless it's from an under aged poster .

Job 6:14 To him that is afflicted (troubled physically or mentally no matter the circumstances around the affliction) then pity should be shown to that friend. What is pity? Sympathetic sorrow should be shown to a friend. . . .But, he forsaketh (to renounce or turn away from entirely) the fear (profound reverence and awe especially toward God) of the Almighty.

I think this verse is trying to tell us to show sympathetic sorrow and understanding towards a Christian friend, and understand that those "troubles" are caused by not keeping reverence and awe toward the Father. Looking back on my life, I can see how I've missed it.

There's a lot of prayer requests I know my life is going down a path I don't know how Jesus is going to let me go down I pray for all the people that I asked for prayers I pray that your prayers will be answered I pray for healing for all of y'all I'm not good in Scripture sorry I pray in Jesus name for all of y'all and your prayers will be answered in Jesus name amen

Hi Cj. I would love to engage in discussion with you on this chapter in Isaiah. Though, mine would be purely on the historical aspects of it, as this is strictly a prophecy against Babylon, an empire which took Judah into captivity, and then the introduction of Cyrus of Persia, whom God used to secure the release of His people from captivity. If perchance you're seeking something more than the historical, maybe another person reading your request may find some 'deeper' meaning in all this which I don't recognize & wish to engage with you in what you're seeking.
