That's possible Mark, though I believe that 2 Samuel 18:7,8 refers more to the 'wooded areas' or countryside. As the battle was in "the wood of Ephraim" (v6) & "scattered over the face of the country" (v8), it seems more likely that factors such as hunger, thirst, exhaustion, wild beasts, etc. may have taken their toll on the men, more so than the sword or arrow.

Hello Yakima. The Bible doesn't specifically record that Solomon repented of his many sins; but then again, the Bible doesn't always give us every detail of someone's life, especially if the repenter has chosen not to record it or there were no witnesses to it. Only God knew Solomon's heart, as He does each one of us, so whether we stand or fall, we do so before God alone & under His Judgement.

However, in Ecclesiastes 12:13,14, we read Solomon finally expressing: "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil." Maybe, this is the only (small) evidence of a man who has realized his errors in life & his life was always exposed before a Just & All-seeing God.

Heavenly Father, Bless Suze today as she cares for her parents. Provide many opportunities for her to show Your love to them and to share the gospel. It is always good to hear it no matter how many times we hear it. It is the power of God unto salvation. We believe this and trust that Your Holy Spirit will use the gospel message to Your desired end for Suze's Mom and step-dad in these last months and weeks of their lives. We pray for salvation and assurance of eternal life for each of them. We ask that You guide Suze in the words she speaks. We ask that you give Suze strength to provide this extended care for both her Mom and step-dad. We ask that You relieve pain and fear of death from these Life.

We have the interesting story of Melchizedek; who was of mysterious origin; but apparently blessed Abraham and was even said that he had a priesthood superior to him and was given tithing in his direction.

It is probably wise to remember how God's people were called out of other nations. Job was from the land of "Uz" to the east someplace; and this was said to be the oldest text likely written by Moses. Abraham was called out of Ur of the Caldees also to the east eventually gaining some of the territory but as Hebrews states never really being established in the Promised Land with a permanent city to live in while on earth. Moses was called out to save many of His people who were in Egypt for the prophesied 400 year period before they were to establish their initial conquering of surrounding nations; whose transgressions had to come to the full; according to other passages in Genesis.

It is thus not so much the conept of Monotheism; but the establishment of a priesthood and a Nation/State run as a sort of Theocracy that Israel had uniquely to itself. The law also had some universal applications to it; along with the peculiar ceremonial laws for Israel. We see the former with the attempts Abraham and Issac did to pass off their wives as "sisters" when in foreign lands. Pagan nations still have recognized boundaries there; and with their own spouses. Also; there are other scriptures indicating that according to the 12 tribes of Israel in some mysterious way the nations boundaries were divided.

We also have Pharoah honoring Joseph and his God; Nebuchadnezzar later in Babylon; and others who came to believe in the true God. History also seems to indicate an early belief in a supreme deity and similar flood stories to that of Noah; and a later corruption into idolotry. There are tribes of Israel said to be scattered in many parts of the world; as far as China and many parts of Africa. Knowledge of God exists today according to Psalm 19/ Romans 1.

Plz let me say this about the Son of man....In Zecharias 12 : 10 Zecharias is saying they are gonna look on me whom they have pierced and mourn for him as one who is in mourning for his 1st born his only Son...And be in bitterness as one who is in bitterness for his 1st born...I think this is prophetic that Christ is gonna be our 1st born our only son in the Spirit when we are bornagain...When a seed dies it multiplies....Thats y Jesus told the Greeks unless a seed dies it abides alone....But if it dies it will bring forth much fruit meaning many Christ... Had he not died there wd have been only 1 Christ....But b/c of his death he will be multiplied as the Stars of Heaven...Thus everybody will get a seed...a measure of faith to birth a baby Christ The Son of MAN.

......Smite the shepherd and the sheep will be scattered then i will turn my hand to the little ones...baby Christ which are Spirits as that which is born of the spirit is spirit..which is the H.G. I saw me in Job's life too. It's one of my favorite books. It wasn't a matter of God saying "go get him" snd tear up his life.

God knew exactly what was inside of Job. He saw Job, beginning to ending. He had confidence in Job to make it through. So He gave Satan permission up to a point.

Satan had been spying on what Job was doing. Job was concerned about his adult childrens much partying and feasting. Job went to church every day to make sacrifices on their behalf. He was doing what he thought best.

Meanwhile satan spied on what he thought was lack of faith. He stirred up a F5 tornado and killed Jobs kids, their houses, the livestock, everything! Job doubted in himself, in Gods Love and Power, everything. He sat down in the dirt and mourned. He thought life was over, until the pain of his wife's accusations pierced him. Curse God and die. (her last words)

Satan put sores on Job, until Job despaired. Then the "helpful friends" show up. Accusing and making Job doubt himself. He was laid wide open. A quivering mass of hurt, pains of loss, doubts God loved him, " what did I do to deserve this?" Wave upon wave of pain pushed Job to the limit.

Then God shows up. He tells of His power, majesty, he reveals through descriptions of animals__his wisdom and power. Job is dealt with for his wavering faith. Had not God always been there to bless Jobs family? Bless him with abundance?

Satan is defeated and gone by now. God ministers to Job. At the end, God restored Jobs health. He multiplied back to Job, all that he had lost and much more. Job would never lose his faith in Gods love and provision again. We have to take our eyes off circumstances and lock them on God; without doubting and wavering in our trust and faith.

Job was not sinning. He just had to let go of his interpretation of how good God is; and pick up the reality of just who God is. Almighty, all powerful, the beginning and the end, a rewarder of good and faith. And so much more!

It will be much easier on you, to draw a line in the sand and step over it, to Jesus. Let go of the past and allow the Lord Jesus, to lead. All we do is to Follow Him. I didn't know not one smidge of Bible wham I met Jesus. Every day I had to hang on tight and do what the Holy Spirit showed me to do. Acts 19:19. I had to rid myself of all shreds of my past as an astrologer. I burned it without knowing why. I read the Bible beginning in the New Testament; the new Covenant that Jesus ratified with His own blood, on the Cross. He makes all things new. It's best to not speed read through scripture.

Receive Jesus's baptism. He will give you the indwelling Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will be all you need, to live your new life IN CHRIST. John 3. Kind of like Elijah, when he was hiding under a bush, being fed by the Lords ravens: who brought him food and water every day. (The Bible)

Jesus is going to rebuild you according to His Master plan just for you. You are here now. So learn how to lean into His love and care for you. The Holy Spirit is your Teacher. You don't have to prove anything to other people. HS needs your attention and obedience. We have to get past Acts 19:19 first. Ask Him what goes, what stays?

I burned up 1000's of dollars of books & worldly music; liquor, drugs, self-love. I quit going out with party friends.

You will have to give up all the pain and resentment over what family members Have. Self-love has to be gone, so Jesus can show you real love. It's on the way, but first we have to be rid of the past ways of fulfilling our creature needs. Then Follow Jesus. He will direct you through the Holy Spirit he has sealed you with. Listen to some Greg Laurie ministry on YouTube. He's close to your age. Rely on Jesus for love, acceptance, and giving you new purpose, and goals, just for you. Ask Jesus to heal your memories. He did it for me and others. Let Him love you to wellness. Give thanks.

God adopted Israel to be his peculiar people. They had no say in it. He said they are as the apple of His eye. He made a blood covenant for the Land to be deeded to Abraham and his wife Sarah.

Ishmael who was Abrahams first son with Hagar the handmaid given by Sarah, to Abraham: he has an amazing inheritance given to him by God: riches, other lands, kingdoms and princes__forever. No matter how the boys try to transfer and divide it up.

The Boundaries of Israel are recorded in the scriptures. Jerusalem belongs to Israel. The final wars of mankind will be fought over Israel. Ishmael will be fighting against God.

Nobody really believes it. So it will seem to many that God is not being fair. The son of Sarah's body is the heir of Israel.

ISHMAEL's inheritance is incredibly generous and full of riches and power. But they will fight against God at the valley of (Megiddo) Armageddon, in the Last War. Now is when Messiah will return the 2nd Time. Without doubt.

Thanks street preacher for your prayers. I've read the Bible back and forth multiple times. Still don't understand it. Is the language translation right? Is this part supposed to be taken symbolically or literally? "Turn the other cheek", Or "an eye for an eye"? "Eat this don't eat that". Forgiveness or eternal hell grudge? It all seems so confusing. I know about the law of the old Bible and the "good news" from Christ changing things, but it's still confusing. Bible isn't clear. It's like reading instructions in Chinese. Is it a sin to masturbate if you pretend you are with your imaginary future wife? The bible doesn't specifically mention this. Is premarital sex a sin? Fornication or pornea. What is the right translation? So on and so forth. As you recall when God set the devil on Job his friends told him the reason God did so was because Job was sinning. But he wasn't. That is why I said he set the devil on me while I was still good. I was a good kid. Honest. It all started before the doubt and being dragged through the mud. I appreciate you taking the time to write me. And thankyou again for praying for me. I figured since it seems I'm unable to get through perhaps if I storm God's throne with prayers he will listen. I know, I know, you will tell me God hears all our prayers. I just hope he answers.

When I asked the question: When you're saved are you born again? I already believe that I had the answer. I wanted to hear other comments. We were all born of the sinful blood of Adam. That is why Jesus says: We must be born again. The bible says that when we are born again that we become a new creature, old things pass away, all things are made new. We are born into the family of God. Our name is written into the book of life. Jesus is in the family of God. Jesus is sinless. Jesus died to make us sinless, however in Hebrews Chap. 10 verse 26 : If we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins. That is why in Matt. Chap. 7 verses 13 & 14: Enter ye in at the strait gate for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leadeth to destruction and many there be which go in thereat. Because strait is the gate and narrow is the way which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Brothers and sisters the line before the Great White Throne judgement of Rev. 20 is innumerable. All that stand before Jesus when the books are opened and your name is not written in the book of life will be destroyed with the evil one. All that go before the Great White throne are called goats. We that inherit eternal life are the sheep of Jesus and we are born into the family of God....

I had to leave early and today im taking the day off i came out negative on Wednesday

It's still hard to concentrate

I came out negative on Wednesday went to work late Wednesday and yesterday i wasn't feeling good at work got dizzy , nausea and congestion weakness. I had to go home early and today im taking the day off again. It's a new job but i feel like work wasn't helping me heal.

My mom yesterday she looked real tired she was in bed

The Holy KJV may not have an individual verse to discuss with youth about this but God is very vocal about how masterbation does destroy one. Masterbation and pornography are just as addictive as the strongest drugs and have terrible consequences. Serial killer Ted Bundy said before his execution that the one thing that made him determined to murder women was him watching them in pornography as a young boy.

Matthew 5:28

But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

The above verse says volumes. Just starting there with what the eye is exposed to the mind devises evil. The eye is a gateway to the soul and when one masterbates; the damage is done to the soul and spirit.

2 Corinthians 7:1

1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

The following verses are not meant to be taken literally. But think about it, if a member was being used (hand, eye, or even the mind)...it'd better it were spiritually cut off than to cast the whole body in...

Matthew 5:30

30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut if off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

I hope this helps and knowing someone who struggled with this addiction for many years, there is hope...but only in Christ Jesus. That's the only way to overcome this addiction.
