It's not like social media is it?
I love talking about Jesus, because He's done so much for me. I was "sold out" on day one.
But when you read of problems and troubles people in the Bible endured, it makes my problems do-able. I just leave them at the Cross.
Job 42:6. Wherefore I abhor myself. The more WE SEE of the glory and majesty of God, the more we shall see of the vileness and odiousness of sin, and of ourselves because of sin; and the more we shall abase and abhor ourselves for it; and repent in dust and ashes - Namely, sitting in dust and ashes. Job's afflictions had brought him to the ashes, Job 2:8, He sat down among the ashes; but now a sense of his sins brought him thither.
Observe, reader, true penitents mourn for their sins as heartily as ever they did for any outward afflictions; for they are brought to see more evil in their sins than in their troubles; and even those who have no gross enormities to repent of, yet ought to be greatly distressed in their souls for the workings of pride, self-will, peevishness, discontent, and anger, within them, and for all their hasty, unadvised speeches; for these they ought to be pricked in their hearts, and in bitterness, like Job.
Observe, also, that self- loathing is always the companion of true repentance. They shall loathe themselves for the evils they have committed, Ezekiel 6:9.
It is not sufficient that we be angry at ourselves for the wrong and damage we have, by sin, done to our own souls; but we must abhor ourselves, as having, by sin, made ourselves odious to the pure and holy God, who cannot look upon iniquity but with abhorrence. If sin in general be truly an abomination to us, sin in ourselves will especially be so; the nearer it is to us, the more loathsome it will appear to be, and the more we shall loathe ourselves on account of it.
Confess your faults one to another; pray that you will be healed.
Mount up on wings like eagles. Isaiah 40:31
Job's story has an happy ending.
Today in Texas, an angry 18yr old, cruelly ended 23 lives. I cannot stop weeping for those parents. Please pray for them.
I'm 70. I have as many miles on me as my old Honda, as a Streetpreacher. Kids are on the street every night. They don't think their parents care about them; or even want to talk to them. "They" just yell.
I tried so hard to love them where they are. To tell them of a Savior who loves them. They would ride their bikes in circles, listening__and then ride off.
I prayed to the Lord, what I said would be like a bandaid that refused to come off.
Will anyone else hear their stories; what they think about the future? Alone, without a Savior that loves them?
With Jesus, all new possibilities become available to those who love Him.
Just one kid every week. Love covers a multitude of sins.
Vows are not like promises. If Jesus preached on this, it means it's being confirmed in the New Testament.
Testimony: after my divorce, I vowed to God not to vow again if I could not keep the vow. That was 35 years ago. I never remarried. Do I regret it? No. The blessings far exceeded anything I could've hoped for.
Did you try to be reconciled? (No answer needed)

In this bible clearly, "man" and "person" are two diferent concepts. But where is "person" defined ?
I mean, in Latin, "person/a" refers to the mask wich were used by actors at that time.
So I assume, that In this ancient texts, the term "Person" can not be interpretated as the modern concept of "person/a".
Job 32:21 "Let me not, I pray you, accept any man's person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man"
Thanks all in advance !
Here's a portion of your quote.
"What happens to those whose names ARE NOT WRITTEN in the Book of Life?
Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth SHALL WORSHIP HIM, whose names ARE NOT WRITTEN in the book of life of the Lamb, slain from the foundation of the world." End quote.
Earl that's not the Lord being worshipped here.
Here's a few previous verses to get the context.
Revelation 13:4-8. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: AND THEY WORSHIPPED THE BEAST, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
5) And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
6) And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
7) And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
8) And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
God bless you Earl.
unite my heart to fear thy name.
Revelation 13:5 And there was give him (man) a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him for forty two months.
One thousand two hundred ninety days. Forty two months. Three and a half years. Christ ministry on earth.
Daniel 12:11 And from the time daily sacrifice shall be taken away (old covenant) and the abomination THAT MAKETH DESOLATE SET UP, there shall be a thousand two hundred ninety days.
Revelation 11:15 The seventh angel sounded (Christ's resurrection), ....saying, the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ: and he shall reign for the age of the age.
John 19:30 .....It is finished ......
Hebrews 2:8 ....we see NOT YET all things put under him.
You commented the other day that just because we don't believe, doesn't make it not so.
Christ said he speaks as if all things are done.
We should look at his words as if all things are done.
Hebrews 4:3 For we which believed (his words) do enter into rest ......the works were finished before the foundation of the world.
Philippians 2:11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Romans 14:11 For it is written, AS I live saith the Lord, Every knee shall bow, and every tongues shall confess
to God.
It's this lake of fire (for our God is a consuming fire) that CAUSES Confession to salvation.
I'm out of characters, give your rebuttal and I will respond.
God Bless YOU!
If you wanted to take a zodiac symbol off and have jeweler put on a cross, I don't think your mother would mind. Or you could have 2 necklaces made :)
one for you and your mother. It would mean a lot to her.
James 3:1
My brethren, be not many masters [teachers], knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.
Sometimes when we feel one is letting us down and we feel we don't deserve it we have to think of what Jesus endured in our behalf.
2 Corinthians 5:21. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
The Lord of mercy died for us while we were yet sinners! Romans 5:8.
To fully appreciate that, in order for us to do anything for someone we would probably want them to straighten their lives up first. But he's love, rich in mercy, longsuffering and forgiving. That's something we're "naturally not. These are fruit of the Spirit. In Matthew 5:43-44 Jesus is saying what is expected out of believers.
This is Jesus spirit working a work in us. We are continuously pray and grow in grace. It's not something we can manifest on our own.
I hope this helps.
God bless.
I am trying to figure out what message you are sharing here. You answered your first question using Revelation 20:15, so I get that one. In Revelation 13:8, who is being worshipped? I ask because you capitalized Him. Are you saying that it is Christ who is the one they are worshipping in that verse? Maybe I am just misunderstanding because Verse 7 gives us the answer. Also, I am not sure how Acts 22:1 ties into all this. Can you please clarify for me? Thanks for your time!
All of a sudden Jesus walks up to the podium, reads Isaiah 61:1, from later named Luke 4:18.
Closes the Scroll and says, "Today in your hearing the scripture is fulfilled."
Of course there was a riot. A hometown boy just said the impossible. They sought to stone Jesus.
If Mary and Jesus's own siblings didn't speak up, no one else would.
Luke 4:43 Jesus left to fulfill his mission; beginning with calling His disciples.
It's always best to read from scripture what was historically happening at the moment. John 1:5
Revelation 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of this book .....
What happens to those whose names ARE NOT WRITTEN in the Book of Life?
Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth SHALL WORSHIP HIM, whose names ARE NOT WRITTEN in the book of life of the Lamb, slain from the foundation of the world.
Acts 22:1 And it shall COME TO PASS, that whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be save.
God Bless YOU!
