When you said; "if we are not willing to clear our minds as if we know nothing and pray to God through Jesus for the Holy Spirit to show in the scripture the truth. We will not hear because our ears are not open to hearing the truth, we have already decided the answer on our own."
1 Corinthians 3:18-19. came to mind.
"Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness."
The natural man receiveth not the things of God.
What we have here is the attack on the word of God concerning the things of God!
God bless
For All You are doing to Help me. For the testimony to come.
For the blessings of Fellowship that You arrange
For knowing precisely how I feel. For Your Deep compassion.
By Your grace.
Alleluia.
Psalm 42:8 kjv.

These are all weighty words, and have, and no doubt will, cause me much introspection! I praise the Lord for such soul-searching thoughts!
Blessings to you both!
I reckon one day soon and update will come that wipes out verses in Leviticus and all thru the Scriptures.
So when I say kill instead of slay I kinda paniced.
thanx for the dialogue.
this looks to be a great place.
I have read some time ago that good, 100 percent grape juice has the same health benefits as wine!
Alcoholism is so prevalent, and destroys not only the imbibers, but often, their whole families! "Lead us not into temptation" is what the Lord ask us to pray - and let's not throw ourselves into temptation by even toying with those things that so easily become a snare!
Blessings!
One of my favorite books (other than the Bible of course! :) - is John Bunyan's "Pilgrim's Progress." I've read it at least 16 times, and find treasures in it, and much encouragement each time.
In one portion of the book, Christian and his companion are discussing "leaving all for Christ', which is another form of "dying to self." He makes this simple but true observation: It is much harder to REALLY 'leave all for Christ' than what we think! Just when we think we've 'lain it all down' - the Lord points out something in our lives that we haven't relinquished at all!
Yes, it's a daily process. We can't die today for what we may have to die to tomorrow. So may the Lord grace us, one day at a time, to be living sacrifices unto Him!
Blessings in abundance, Gigi!
