It is such as a top leader over lesser entities that the battles in heavenly places occur. Clearly; these are tied into the prayers of saints; as in Daniel's case with the 21 day delay in answering his prayers. There are certain rulers of earth; therefore which are tied to the entities that are controlling them as God Himself delegates authority. Just how the fate and end of nations tie into the individuals and when they reach a point when judgment is ripe is something in God's plans. For now; prophetically we know that Israel will be preserved along with a godly remnant until God's judgments (Jacob's trouble) commences; then the victory is won in heavenly places once Satan is cast out. On the earth; eventually when they cry out to their deliverer they will be saved from total destruction but not until half the city is ravished; and 2/3 die in all the land. In short; all things in heavenly places are where the real action is; and what we see with natural eyes just a reflection.
All these beings work in submission to Christ as governing authority; even the dark side is utilized for His purposes.
Luke 14:
12 Then said he (Jesus) also to him that bade him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor thy rich neighbors; lest they also bid thee again, and a recompence be made thee.
13 But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:
14 And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.
Who was Jesus talking to?? The "Jews". "....call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind..."
Jesus didn't say to invite the infidels or Baal worshippers. Let them Repent first, then they can be helped.
And what does the incident of that woman pouring expensive oil on the head of Jesus have to do with giving to infidels?
I'm pretty sure the Lord God laid it on that woman's heart to do that. She knew in her heart that Jesus was worthy of that expensive oil. But Jesus's "apostles" murmured among themselves calling it a waste.
People often begrudge others what they themselves cannot have.
Satan and his followers cannot ever have salvation so they begrudge it to others, and try to destroy them.
The poor, the hungry cannot have, so they steal from those that do.
Re. Christ deniers: Unless God calls them (like He did to the Apostle Paul) any kindness we show them is, in my opinion, for nothing. And even after Paul converted, he was treated with distain by the other Apostles.
It would be nice if everyone gave to others like Jesus wanted us to, but that's not what happens. Giving should be reciprocal-
(I give to you, you give to them, they give to me) but it doesn't work that way.
"...for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just."
Just being allowed into Heaven should be enough recompense for anyone.
The Father lives where his throne is, in heaven.
Revelation 1:1 ...and he SIGNIFIED it ....
Matthew 13:34 And these things (his words) spake he unto the multitude in PARABLES, and without a PARABLE he SPAKE NOT unto them.
Matthew 13:13 Therefore spake I to them in PARABLES: because seeing, they SEE NOT, and hearing they HEAR NOT, neither do they UNDERSTAND.
You see the word heaven and you know heaven is a place; But, seeing you see not, neither do they understand.
Heaven is SIGNIFIED, and a PARABLE, a high meaning than the literal.
Heaven is were God dwells, God is LIFE, God dwell IN YOU, God is THE LIFE IN YOU. God is SPIRIT.
John 3:6 .... that which is BORN of Spirit is Spirit: God is Spirit.
Psalms 82:6 I have said, Ye are gods (born of Spirit) the CHILDREN of the MOST HIGH.
Flesh and blood CANNOT inherit the Kingdom of God, so we are BORN AGAIN into Spirit, and God is Spirit, THE KINGDOM of GOD.
The NEW CREATION, of two, You and Christ, to MAKE ONE. The Spirit Man, Christ.
The FIRSTBORN among many BRETHREN.
God Bless YOU!
I actually have found the first occurrence of the sentence is when The Lord speaks to Peter and says "Rise, Peter, Kill and eat. The next occurrence of the sentence is when Peter is recounting to the Disciples in Jerusalem why he mingled with the Gentiles and he says The Lord said "Rise, Peter, Slay and eat"
Is your 1611 digital? If so, where can I get mine?
thanx for your reply.
Everyday there is a new way for IT (satan) to come after all people, all over the world!!!
How much more can we take from our EVIL POLITICAL GOVERNMENT!!
All they want is to fill there pockets with filthy lucre, murder mankind with its injections
to change the way our LORD JESUS created us!!
The LORD says not to call anyone foolish or You will face the judgement, but this
takes the cake!!!
We are not to be deceived by a world gone mad!!!!
We are to read the LORD'S word and stand on each one!!!
JESUS gave us wisdom and knowledge to see right thru there evil deeds!!!
Bless my family, friends, neighbors and all believers thru these dispicable times!!
How long, oh LORD, holy and true must we wait for YOUR second coming?? We will never doubt YOU and YOUR FATHER for all YOUR words are HOLY and TRUE!!!
Death and sin shall be swollowed up in VICTORY!!!
1 CORITHIANS 15 (read whole chapter)
YOU are our glorious and wonderful LORD of ALL!!!
We thank you LORD for all YOUR mercy, grace, love, truth, comfort, kindness, watchful eye,
for YOU alone can do all these things for us!!!
May IT (satan) enjoy it's time in the bottomless pit! Revelation 20:3
I pray in JESUS name -- AMEN!!
For I am a sinner!!!!!!
"...if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him." 2nd Corinthians 11:4
"...the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not." John 1:5
Sometimes the Lord leads you to a scripture that speaks to you directly in a way applicable to you with perfect timing. It's just for you and won't compromise the literacy of the msg.
I believe some ultra spiritualizing is a sign of one can't except the truth so one would have to compromise the attributes of God for their convenience.
Example:
One would say why would a loving God send someone to hell. So they say there is no hell. That relaxes them. But this contrast a Holy God and his judgment.
If we all are just vessels and there's no hell and there's no Satan who influence the evil in the world?
And what's the purpose of the inspired scripture if "none" of it says what it appears to say.
With this errored mindset you can't even use scripture to validate scripture!
More to come.
God bless.
:-)
What a mighty God we serve...
Christ is the Angel of the Lord (the Father).
Christ is the highest ranked Angel.
Christ is Michael the Archangel.
Christ is the Prince.
Isaiah 63:9 ....and the ANGEL of HIS PRESENCE (the Father's presence, the ONLY LIFE there is) saved them.
Christ is the saviour, therefore Christ is the Angel, the messenger of the Father.
Luke 1:19 And the Angel answering him said unto him, I AM Gabriel, that stands in the presence of God ...
Anyone standing in the presence of God, has the LIFE OF GOD.
Ephesians 4:6 There is ONE GOD (ONE LIFE) and Father of ALL (standing in his presence), and above ALL, and through ALL, and IN YOU ALL.
John 14:6 I AM THE LIFE .....
Colossians 1:27 ...this mystery ....Christ in You ....
2 Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and will rather to be absent from the body, and to be PRESENT (in the presence) of the lord (the ONLY LIFE).
Philippians 2:13 For it is GOD (the only Life) that worketh IN YOU (his body) both TO WILL and TO DO his good pleasure.
Ephesians 4:4 There is ONE SPIRIT, and ONE BODY .....
God Bless You!
Thank you for sharing your good news. I'm grateful to know that prayers on behalf of your step dad have been answered.
You: "When we do good to anyone we are not just doing good to them, we are doing ourselves good also, and all non Christians are potential Christians and should be treated as such."
I disagree. Many are called but few are chosen. Jesus preached to the masses but many rejected him. And, we don't give because it makes us feel good. We do it out of obedience to God/Jesus.
Matthew 10:16
"Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves."
You have to use some discernment when it comes to giving to strangers. (infidels) I was in line at the checkout at the grocery store. As I was leaving, the man bend me was trying to pay for some food but he didn't have enough money, so I gave him what I had.
That's one thing. Supporting the heathen is another.
You: "We, as Christians own nothing and we should always be ready to give anything that we consider ours to anyone who asks us for it, and even give before we are asked, it's not always easy to part with our goods, but if you do it without hesitation or grudging it's an awesome feeling, you instantly know that you have done the right thing in Gods sight and He blesses us in our generosity towards others."
Nope!
I need a few things. Can you buy me a new furnace? No. Of course not and I wouldn't ask you.
Jesus owned absolutely nothing except the clothes he was wearing. Many times he was sustained by the kindness of those who believed in Him, and this is the man who could feed the multitudes with a few loaves and fishes.
You: "One time , a man stopped me in the street and asked if I could give him some money so he could get something to eat."
(Then you were angry with yourself because you couldn't help.)
There you have it. All Christians are on a guilt trip. We are besieged by people with their hands out and then we get this
"Fine Christian you are" if we don't help. No other religious group is as put upon as Christians.
The words 'slay' and 'kill' in the dictionary are synonymous. Both give the same idea.
Blessings!
The part that truly hit me today is what you first shared about how Israel was told to prepare themselves to meet with the Lord - for THREE DAYS!
It is sad and true that we often 'burst into the throne room' totally unprepared, with a TRUE idea of Whom we are meeting with. I know that we can 'come boldly' at any time of the day or night - but we dare not come irreverently, or with 'small views' of Who God is.
I think of Psalm 50:21 -
These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.
It is so easy for our flesh to think that God is just like we are, when in reality, He is clothed in stunning light and majesty and more - all of which is indescribable!
It is so true, Jesus is a 'Friend' Who sticks closer than a brother; He is not ashamed to call us brethren; but HE IS GOD.
Thank you for these thoughts again, Gigi. As you can see, God has used them to stir up this heart to higher thoughts of our Lord!
Blessings, dear sister!
Blessings!
He comes too this place if for the sole reason to see for himself this well dug by Jacob.
The feelings He may have had as He looked into the water that would feed and sustain all the children of God from then until this time, and forever after!
Jesus experiencing in the flesh, what Jacob had made with His hands, He and His servants!
The faith to dig deep into a place directed into the soul of a righteous man.
The Abrahamic ancestry obeying and doing the will of God through Jacob!
How overwhelming Jesus thoughts , as this woman arrives ,only to hear His words that would become a well spring of life unto those that will hear.
This water that we all must come too. All!
We All must come to this river of life! The deep river that feeds the well spring on high! We must ALL!
For in it is life eternal!
Repent and be Baptized
Isaiah has thousands of prophecies about the Kingdom of God.
Isaiah 6:1 In the year that King Uzziah died I saw the lord sitting upon a throne (the throne is in the TEMPLE), high and lifted up, and his train (wedding dress) filled the TEMPLE.
1 Corinthians 3:17 If any man (flesh and blood) defile the TEMPLE of God (Spirit), him (flesh an blood) shall God (Spirit) DESTROY: for the TEMPLE of God is Holy, which TEMPLE ye are.
2 Thessalonians 2:4 Who (flesh and blood) opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God (Spirit), or that is worshipped, so that he (flesh and blood) as (a flesh and blood) God sitteth in the TEMPLE of God (Spirit), showing himself (flesh and blood) that he (as flesh and blood) is God.
1 Corinthians 15:50 ....flesh and blood CANNOT inherit the the Kingdom of God.
Flesh and blood defiles the TEMPLE of God ( 1 Corinthians 3:17), so God is going to DESTROY IT.
2 Thessalonians 2:8 And when that Wicked (flesh and blood) shall be revealed (by the truth of God's Word), who the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth (word of God), and shall DESTROY (flesh and blood) with the brightness of his COMING (the new creation, CHRIST IN YOU).
Revelation 21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the LAMB are the TEMPLE of it.
The word says we are God's temple; BUT, the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are TEMPLE of it (YOU).
Flesh and blood no longer exist, we are a NEW CREATION, the exactness of OUR FATHER.
The OLD HEAVEN has passed away, all things have become NEW.
God Bless YOU!
