Dear Chris , from reading your posts I gather that we believe different things and that's ok with me . Please note Romans Ch 7 V 7-25 , especially V 14-24 , no mention of satan , twice Paul says "sin that dwelleth in me " , V 24 : 0 wretched man that I am ! Who shall deliver me from...the body of this death ?

V 25...with the mind I myself serve the law of God ; but with my flesh the law of sin .

Romans Ch 8 V 1-17 especially : V 1...walk not after the flesh...(not lucifer or satan ) , but after the Spirit . V 3... "God sending His own Son in the likeness of...sinful flesh , and for sin , condemned sin in the flesh "

We are the flesh , we are sinful .

V 5-9 For they that are after the flesh ( non Christians ) do mind the things of the flesh ; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit . For to be carnally minded is death ; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace .

Here is my point : "Because the carnal mind is enmity against God ( not satan / lucifer , us , with our carnal minds ) ...so they that are in the flesh cannot please God . V 9 But ye are not in the flesh , but in the Spirit , if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you .

God is Spirit . The carnal mind is enmity against God...they that are in the flesh cannot please God .

Satan is noticeable by his absence .

Paul was unmarried and so many more prophets and early teachers. Would you not allow CHRIST in as a deacon? HE was never married. Would you not allow Paul who wrote majority of NT not in as a deacon? You sure would lose out some great men who GOD had chosen to serve.

The dead in Is. 14:9 is the Rephaim the fallen that joined Satan at his fall and refused to be born of woman; the 7k already sentenced to die(Rev.11) because they refused to be born of women and take part in this age but instead left their 1st estate to seduce women just as Satan did starting with Eve. Nephilim=fallen ones; naphal=to fall = resulting in Giants- mix flesh women with fallen angels and the whole purpose of the flood of Noah for every flesh in the region, except Noah and his family were corrupted. Noah and his family were the only pure pedigree at time of flood. When fallen angels were here de facto their spiritual bodies (ruach) had mass and they also ate manna-angels food. They were able to seduce women where they had male organs to do so. They are locked in chains in darkness( Jud 1:6) awaiting judgement ( 2 Pet. 2:4) where they can no longer intermix and will be loosed again for 5 months picking up where they left off as in the days of Noah giving and taking in marriage at the 6th trump. Their spirits can still entice and possess people as can Satans but their true spirit bodies the Hebr. Ruach, the solid spirit can no longer come forth where they can seduce women and sire giants. For the purpose of this age man and woman were made and we are made in our own image; Born from above to populate this age in our own spiritual image. Once all souls are born from above then heaven will be rolled up until White throne judgement and kingdom set up in new Jerusalem. The angel of GOD wrestled with Abraham, 2 angels pulled Lot into his house for examples that they do have mass. Just a short narrative!!

I am a concerned mom, my daughter is over weight and I can't get her to see or understand the health risks she may face one day because of it. I have approached this matter with her in many ways ranging from us together doing a daily work-out, fasting 1/2 days occasionally and getting medical attention from her primary physician, all have failed. Well know I am taking a religious approach because we both have a great connection with God. I need a good scripture that relates to over eating or eating in excess etc.

Hi Barry. Taking a direct translation from the Hebrew, Genesis 9:4 would read as: 'But flesh with its life blood you shall not eat'. This was now the allowance given to the surviving humans from the flood that they were permitted to eat the flesh of animals but not to include its blood. The blood was to be first drained out & then the meat cooked, for the blood represented the life of the animal (the life that God alone gives), as it also applies to the shedding of human blood, i.e. taking of life ( Genesis 9:5,6). In many countries, animal blood is consumed, whether taken directly or cooked/turned into another form. We need to bear this in mind when contemplating such foods presented to us.

The life of flesh is blood. You are not to eat anything where blood is running out. Blood becomes putrid and carries diseases, it is a health law.

i have been having trouble with my mouth dry and it causes sores it is not getting the moister it needs and can be painful you can't eat food the way you are suppose to i believe it was caused by covid-19 and it is hard to live with please pray for my healing. and please pray that God will give me strength to fight a sin that has come back in my life and that God will give us a money blessing to get our home fixed and some help to do the chores around our home. thankyou very much and God bless you all!

We all brides of CHRIST if you want to go that far, but it is a spiritual analogy. All gender will be done away with in the Kingdom to come. There will be no giving or taking in marriage!!

As far as I am concerned my opinion is that it is clear that elders as well as deacons must be married. It is also written that they must be one wife's husband, that is not remarried. Also their children must be in faith as well. The scriptures is clear about them been able to govern their house so to be able to minister the church. There are other ministries given by God that do not require a person to be married, like apostles, evangelists, teachers... But for elders and deacons it is a must according to the written Will of God. As I see it ...

Hi Suze. You are correct, as you noted that Isaiah chapter 14 is written against the King of Babylon (just as Ezekiel chapter 28 pertains to the Prince/King of Tyre/Tyrus).

In both accounts, you will note that those monarchs were elevated to an incredibly high position, both in terms of their kingdoms (Babylonia & Phoenicia), their wealth & power, & also in their own eyes. Yet, we see some strange descriptions of them which simply cannot be applied to an earthly ruler (e.g. falling from Heaven, I will ascend into Heaven, exalt my throne above the stars of God. And to Tyre: having been in Eden, anointed cherub, perfect in all thy ways till iniquity was found in thee).

Some see that none other than earthly rulers are spoken of here, but others see the reason for their pride, belief in their invincibility, & eventual downfall of these kings as pertaining to the spirit that controlled them. It is as when Jesus spoke against Peter ( Matthew 16:23); Jesus was certainly looking at Peter, but heard Satan's voice coming through again (as in Matthew 4:3-10), a spirit pressing Peter to blurt out those words that were in opposition to Jesus' Words that the Cross was truly God's Plan. When one utters words that are contrary to God's Word, believing them to be true, those words are Satan-generated, for the enemy will always seek to distort the Truth (remember Eden?).

Even Jesus spoke about Satan's fall from Heaven in John 10:18, "I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven", though unsure whether Jesus specifically quoted the Isaiah passage. Yet, there was that occasion when Satan & his angels were cast out from Heaven ( Revelation 12:9; 2 Peter 2:4; Jude 1:6). Therefore, I too understand that those OT passages have references to both those rulers, but also to the satanic spirit that moved in them, hence the very specific references to Satan being cast out as well. And yet, Satan will once again manifest himself mightily in the person of Anti-Christ ( 2 Thessalonians 2:3,4).

Reply to Maria. The OT observances of the Sabbath were mandatory. There are no mandatory NT observances of the Sabbath.

Reply to Randy Lee Williamson. I don't agree with the assumption that the sons of God were angels who had sex with humans. Angels are not human. They are spirits and spirits cannot have sex with women.

Hi , isn't the Lucifer of Isaiah Ch 14 actually the king of Babylon ? In my KJV , the chapter heading over Ch 14 says : A triumph over Babylon . That's what the chapter is honestly called in my AV KJV. V 4 : Thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon...
