I believe Luke 23:28 was Jesus looking into the future and giving us his last thoughts on earth

He stopped to warn Woman about the future evils of abortions

"Daughters of Jerusalem do not weep for me weep for yourselves and your children. For indeed the days are comming in which they will say Blessed are the barren wombs that never bore and breasts which never nursed

for if they do these in the green wood what will happen in the dry" Green wood is a carpenters term for young and fertile dry is old and dry. Jesus then says "Father forgive them for they do not know what they do"

    Suze, how is Cheryl doing?

Dear Lord Jesus, continue to help Cheryl in her treatment of this infection. Make her body systems stronger than the inflammatory response to this bacterial infection that is so treacherous to her. We know that You hear our prayers Lord, so we are trusting that You will be with Cheryl every step of the way. Kill off the bacteria, knock it out of her body. In Your name, Jesus, we pray. Amen.

    Thanks Donna,

She is hanging in there, but still critical. She wants to die and be in heaven. We understand that and will not have the medical staff employ heroic measures to resuscitate her if it comes to that. But she continues to be stable, but very ill.

First, we must establish the readers to know who is the church. Church is not a building. Church is the people that believes in the blood shed by Jesus Christ to save us. Church is the Body of Christ. Church is the people that walk in the Spirit of God and the people who are in the Kingdom of God. Are you one of us?

"And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence." Colossians 1:18 KJV

"Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:" Colossians 1:24 KJV

"Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in his house." Colossians 4:15 KJV

"And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." Matthew 16:18 KJV

"As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed." Romans 9:33 KJV

"And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ." 1 Corinthians 10:4 KJV

"And was unknown by face unto the churches of Judaea which were in Christ:" Galatians 1:22 KJV

"For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body." Ephesians 5:23 KJV

"That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish." Ephesians 5:27 KJV

"For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:" Ephesians 5:29 KJV

"For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones." Ephesians 5:30 KJV

"This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church." Ephesians 5:32 KJV

I continue to be in prayer for your Mother, yourselves as family members & hospital staff, GiGi. May you know God's unsurpassing peace at this time - for it's only His Peace that can truly comfort our hearts & keep them focussed on Him. And for your Mother to be especially ministered to at this time by the Lord - fully aware of & experiencing the abundance of mercies upon her ailing body, mind & spirit. The Lord is gracious, mindful of all that we go through in this life - His Power & Love are limitless & so much the more, to aboundign to His beloved children. May "the peace of God rule in your hearts", that will even be the catalyst for spiritual restoration to your children. In love & prayer.

I believe you're looking for Revelation 12, I gave additional Scripture in your question on same subject.

    I wanted to add: Jude 1, entire chapter & compare Revelation 12 to Luke 2:1-7, Matthew 2:7-23, John 19:30, 1Corinthians 15:20, John 21:14, Luke 22:69, Mark 16:19, Acts 5:31,

    Hopefully these are helpful also

    Thanks always, Kay.

She has been ready to go to Jesus for many years.

Prior to this, she did not have many health issues. Comes from healthy, mid-west stock.

If she does not have a will to live, that is o.k. with me and most of my siblings. She is old, tired, pretty much a shut-in (we visit her often). She has often commented that she just wants to go to sleep and not wake up, but be in heaven. So, it is good to ask for God's mercy to be upon her (we know it is) and seek to reduce her pain and keep her comfortable while still treating the sepsis. Her condition is still critical, but not needing ICU care. We love her and want the best for her. She will be so happy in heaven! But until then, we keep supporting her by having family at the hospital with her every day.

Hi James. The one T. Levis shared is the most appropriate one. But if you need a couple more which can be helpful, then I would add Romans 11:33,34 & 1 Corinthians 2:11.

Thanks for enquiring, brother. All is well - it's just that I prefer to have a large block of time to devote to folk here (i.e. without interruptions that interfere with my meditations & Lord's directing). Unfortunately, that's not always possible in life, even in retirement. However, I do go through all the comments & particularly enjoyed what you shared on 'Replacement Theology', agreeing with your position on it & your various interactions with others, yet refraining from commenting since I felt I had no more to add to that long thread. May the Lord continue to use you to challenge & build up others in our most precious faith.

Is this the verse you're thinking of

Revelation 12:7-9 "And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven."

This is another verse that talks of Lucifer's fall, Isaiah 14:11-15

There is no mention in the Bible by name of a "mustard tree." Here are the names of trees that are specifically mentioned in the Bible:

algum, almond, almug, apple, ash, box, cedar, cinnamon, cypress, fig, fir, frankincense, fruit, green bay, hazel and chestnut, juniper, mulberry, myrtle, oak, oil, olive, pine, pomegranate, sycamore, and teil, but no giant mustard tree.
