Many fake books have survived since ancient times, like the gospel of Judas and many more. Should we include them all in the Bible ?

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ

13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;'

With the expression "The perfect which to come " apostole Paul means the New World, the Eternal Life in the presence of God. My opinion...

The early Church didn't allow women preachers...But Paul says when that which is perfect is come that which is done in part will be done away with...So we are not always under early Church doctrine that was in part As Paul said we know in part we prophesy in part etc...Remember the image in Daniel 2 was all in parts but it had to be done away with entirely...That stone cut without hands completely displaced the image even tho its head was of gold...( The old covenant ) That stone cut without hands is the New Covenant which is Perfect..The New Covenant will not need Evangelists, teachers, preachers, deacons etc...The gold silver, and the brass, and the iron answers to early CHURCH DOCTRINE that was all in part...As Paul says we know in part, We prophesy in part ect...But when that which is Perfect is come ( the new Covenant ) that which is done in parts will be done away with...Nobody can see clearly under early Church doctrine..Thats y Paul says we see like thru a glass darkly..Thats y there are a zilllion different Churches on every corner,....ducking

Dear brothers and sisters , it seems very likely that my mum and step dad will die this year . They both have very serious chest problems , my step dad had pulmonary fibrosis which can't be cured , he is still smoking , his doctors have told him that at this stage it won't make any difference if he stops . My mum has C. O. P. D. very badly , if she had stopped smoking when first diagnosed she could have lived a lot longer (God willing) but she didn't . Last year she almost died of a chest infection , she has another one now . The potential for them both to have extremely distressing deaths is very high . I would ask please , that when it is time for them to die that they might both pass peacefully . If it is Your will Dear Heavenly Father .

Dear Random, God loves all people, and since all people do sin, he loves sinners and He wants to save them. What He actually hates is the iniquity itself, the sin itself not the people.

To my opinion you are right about Genesis 3:15 interpretation, and also about the armor of God.

I actually agree with you that satan didn't know God's plan to save people. If he knew he would not lead Jesus to the cross. If Jesus didn't die and ressurected we couldn't have been saved. That was probably why God's plan was hidden from His people and His prophets in the OT When satan found out what happened it was too late for him.

Never heard of Charles Capps, I may when having a free time to watch him on the tube.

Same happened for the New Testament. Early Christians used to read some books that were at the end excluded from the canonised form of NT. Some of them are fake and a some of them are written by early Christians but they are not considered to be divinely inspired. Some of them still exist nowadays. I would not suggest that you read them.You will be confused.

Lord God, please help Sarah to finish her schooling. Lift her up and give her strength today to reach the finish line. Let her know that it's You, let her always use her talents for Your glory. There are almost 3 different types of the Old Testament. The older is what is known as the Septuagint Bible. That is a translation into the Greek language of the Hebrew Scriptures done sometime during the 3rd centuary BC, written for the Greek speaking Jews living around the Mediterranean Sea at that time. There is the one that Hebrews use theselves that is called the Masoretic text. It is what the Jews canonised to be the Bible. That was finalized roughly the 4-5th centuary AD. There is another form not that much known, the "Dead see Scrolls'. Those are scrolls that were found in Israel sometime in the early 20th centuary and they originate from 300 BC to 300 AD. By examining them scientists found out that a part of them was the same as the Masoretic text, another part as the Septuagint text and the rest didnt coincide with either texts. That, they say, probably means that during Jesus's time things were a bit fluid. There were many verses of the OT around at that time, similar to one another but not the same.

Now the Catholic church, like the Eastern Orthodox church have included in the OT some books extra of the Masoritic text called the Apocrypha. Jews theselves rejected those books as not divinely inspired.

There are also some other books that both Christians and Jews rejected. We can find reference of 2 of them in Jude's epistole. That confirms that things were as I said a bit fluid during ancient times. Same happened with the New Testament during the first 3 centuaries AD untill the Gospel was finally canonised. So which OT is the right one. I would say all 3 of them since their differences are not that important. I would exclude though the Apocrypha and not canonised texts. On internet you can find a lot of information about this topic.

Now about the Vatican hidding some books somewhere, I think those claims can not be serious.

Dear Heavenly Father, Please help Gigi's momma to recover. Heal her body of sepsis and whatever else she is dealing with. I know that You're able. Let the antibiotic treatment work. Or just speak a word and it will be gone. Let this be a time of healing and feeling the Holy Spirit. Surround her with Your love and Angels. Set up a hedge of protection around her. And if she's not a believer I pray for her salvation. In Jesus name, Amen. So be it. I thank You Heavenly Father for caring and being compassionate. You never leave us or forsake us. I'm so sorry to hear that , I have lost family and friends through alcohol related illness so I'm very glad that u r still alive . God has soared your life Joshua , maybe He has a plan for you ? Or maybe He just loves you so much and knew that you would come back to Him ? There are lots of possibilities for you , in this world and the next , take heart and rejoice in God love and mercy and blessings towards you . All the time you thought that you weren't in touch with Him ? He never left your side and it's Him and Him only that has brought you safely to this very moment . Asking for prayer for my Mom. She is 88 and was taken by Medics to hospital last night. Doctors say she has sepsis, which is very serious. Thank you.

I can't do that. If we've tasted the goodness of the Lord, we will desire to share that joy.

I do it best as I can. Jesus said something about not fasting when the Bridegroom was with us-as with us on earth. But after He ascended to Heaven to be seated at the right hand of God; we would fast.

I had to pause and take notes. I verified his scripture references.

It explains how Jesus set aside his power to be born to Virgin Mary. Earth being created for humans only. Satan stole Adam's authority. It gave Satan auth to hurt God's people. Jesus came to fulfill Genesis 3:15 and crush Satan's head (power) and take back the authority and give it to believers in Jesus.

That, plus Ephesians 6, helps us defeat the devil and other satanic beings. A lot of people don't want to know about it.

I think you may simply have misunderstood the question. "Jesus" was not in the OT. Or in other words, not yet in the form of Jesus or by the name of Jesus.

REVELATION 12

Man's teaching says this happen before God created Adam: but is that TRUE or man's teaching.

.....and did cast them to the earth, and the dragon stood before the WOMAN (the church, the bride of Christ)....

There wasn't a WOMAN before Adam was created, the WOMAN (the church) wasn't here until pentecost, so how could this have happened before Adam was created.

......which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

Creation has been in BIRTH PAINS since Adam, but unable to be delivered until pentecost. The angels could have been cast of heaven before the resurrection and pentecost.

All parts of God word have to fit together.
