Also, a friend can baptise you in a tub, a swimming pool or a shallow River. God sees everything. Say

"I baptize you in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit." Then say, by faith I receive the Holy Spirit as my Teacher, my Comforter, and my Corrector.

God my Father bless this holy child and raise up a fine Proverbs 31 woman. Amen.

I'm elderly. Some are not able to go to church physically, but they see church on tv or they listen to the ones on FM or AM radio stations; 24 hrs a day.

If you have a cell phone, you can go on YouTube and type in Greg Laurie or John Hagee; even Billy Graham! Many of his videos are on YouTube. :)

God knows exactly where your heart is, so keep growing as His dear child. He will make a way for you. If transportation is the problem, you can call and see if churches in your area have a bus ministry who will come pick you up and take you home.

    Book of John

16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

    Other scriptures:

    Philippians 2:5-11

    John 15:16 and 18

    1 John 3:13

We are always here. Come whenever you need prayer or answers. I love the spirit of your heart.

One godly woman on her knees praying can break the chains of the evil one. Don't give up.

Sir, if there is a chance for a new person, will God be happy?
  • S Spencer - In Reply - 2 years ago
    Hi Terry.

    I concur with Brother Jesse

Here's a few verses that goes well with Philippians 2:12-13.

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: Philippians 1:6.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

    1 Peter 1:3-5.

Even in the old testament God put it on man's heart to will them.

And they shall be my people, and I will be their God:

And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:

And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I WILL PUT MY FEAR IN THEIR HEARTS, THAT THEY SHALL NOT DEPART FROM ME.

    Jeremiah 32:38-40.

It takes an act of God to perform the greatest commandment.

And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

    Deuteronomy 30:6.

    God bless.

Hi; The two greatest commandments you spoke of is something I had never understood all my Christian life until 2007, then God opened my spirit to Matthew 5:19 the least commandments, you see I could quote the greatest commandments, but I did not know how to do them, so I prayed after all those years since 1981 God help me understand how to love God with all the heart, soul, mind and strength and how to love my neighbor as myself. When God revealed to me the least commandments, I wrote down around twelve hundred of them, every chapter and verse, it was from these I learned that each one teaches us either how to love God, or how to love our neighbor.

    Re: Water baptism

What happens to people who believe in God and don't go to church?

What happens to those who believe in God and don't get baptized?

Can a believer baptize a baby by sprinkling without having a pastor do it, because the baby's family don't go to church, but they believe in God and Jesus?

So are people who don't get baptized by immersion by a pastor in church, are they not saved?

  • HOW TO USE THE SEARCH ENGINE - 2 years ago
When you come into this website you're on the LINK PAGE.

Up at the top is the SEARCH BOX. Links for the entire Bible is below that.

It's a really great SEARCH ENGINE, but just for Bible subject.

You can put the word 'Atonement' in the box and hit the arrow >

The engine will fetch every scripture that contains THAT word. You can sort the list; and the engine places the list in book order.

Or you can read either Old Testament verses only

    Or, New Testament verses only

With DATES OR HISTORY, you'll have to go on Google. Type it in like this:

    "Atonement, history".

By using all the search options, you'll learn some really awesome information. If search doesn't fetch anything try wording it differently.

If it fetches 10,000 verses; try wording it another wAy or just look at only OT or NT verses.

Look around on this whole website to see what's in it. If you get lost, just back out and come back in. Curious is good.

The location of the commentary box is below the search box. Touch a scripture and it will highlight Yellow. Scroll down slowly.

    Hi Donna.

I believe God is only sending msgs through his living desciples carrying out his living word.

Take a look at Luke 16:27-31. Especially verse 31.

"Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:

For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

( And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, NEITHER WILL THEY BE PERSUADED, THOUGH ONE ROSE FROM THE DEAD.")

There was one that rose from the dead that Moses writings testify of and most don't believe and that's our Lord Jesus Christ.

    I hope this helps.

    God bless.

    Giannis,

It looks like we come to a different conclusion on Revelation 3:3 and I am okay with that. Thank you for expounding some on Philippians 2:12-13. I still believe this work is not my work, but the work of Christ in me. He is doing the work. I am just along for the ride, and I do not say this to try to get out of anything because I know I have a responsibility. Jesus gave me a command to follow Him and that is exactly what I am to do. My position will always be behind Him. It is His work, and I am to follow Him. He will use me as He sees fit, but it's still Him doing the work. He get's all the glory.

Yes, the wages of sin is death. But that's only the first part of the verse. The second part, which I don't believe you intentionally left out says "but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

What an interesting phrase and good memorization verse. But this summarizes the whole thing. The wages of "the" sin, because the Greek text has the definite article. Sin pays wages! And it is interesting that the Greek word for wages is what you pay a soldier with, only it's not money. It is provisions, or rations. So the wages of sin is death. How do you like that for a reward? It's like "Pick up your paycheck on Friday." Well, how much did I get? "Oh, complete death!"

The word for gift in the Greek is the word Charisma. Isn't that interesting? It gives us a good idea as to what the word charismatic means. It means the expression of God's grace. As you know, Charis is grace, and Charisma is when grace is in action. The gift of God is God's grace blessing us with eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. But if you notice, it is not a wage, but a gift. Sin pays wages. God doesn't pay wages. He gives as a gift. You can never earn it and you get full inheritance! I didn't earn salvation, God gave it to me as a gift. Would He ever take that gift back?

I'm sorry to hear that you (or anyone else) believes that someday you might lose your salvation

I also wanted to tell you that I spake of my gratitude for your scriptural help in the 2nd reply by me, to Ms. Donna, who replied to me, here, just above yours. If you see this, Sir or Madam, I hope that you will see how your scriptural knowledge (and listing) may be used by the LORD to help and strengthen others as it has already blessed, helped, MATURED, and will continue to mature and grow me! In your 1 Peter 5:7, scripture, I was reminded of what the REAL struggle may be in Christ, on earth. As a little child, Peter was my favorite disciple/person in the Holy Bible, because I felt--at the time--that he asked a lot of questions. I am not sure if I got that from the scriptures, or an interpretive work (like a play or something that helped illustrate the scriptures).

*I was in a very bad way, and today, again a bit downtrodden, and tempted to being deceived by those same lying, spiritual enemies your listed scripture spoke of in Ephesians 6:10-20. I had begun down a path lead to me questioning the truth of Christ's promise regarding those who endure to the end in Matthew 10:22. I do not know how far I would have gotten--but GOD willed your scripture lists to be seen by me to help me grow and keep me from traveling down the adversary's road to abandoning Christianity. It was GOOD for me to get to see Matthew 10:23-32, because of you, especially verses 23 and 32, because abusers who know some scripture (just like the Devil can quote it too!) try to manipulate GOD's word--I won't list examples, but it is very SICK what a witch that I know (she feigns Christianity to some--denounces it to others) has tried to do with scripture to at least 2 of her victims. GOD spoke to me when I was young in regards to her, but the wicked prosper in wickedness in secret, and the destruction that they wreak in some lives...even with the LORD's miracles in MY life, and the TRUSTWORTHY witness of elder loved ones, my life v. everyone around me...allowed the adversary an in. Thanks!
  • Mishael on Part 2 of why race colors - In Reply on Genesis 1:26 - 2 years ago
I did not mean it to say color is a disease. I meant that the blending of the man with the woman, would select color, hair type, eye color, etc. From all the way back to Genesis, the DNA THAT GOD CREATED, is passing through bloodlines. It picks up and Carrie's everything in it.

That's why I think Adams and Eves blood originated ALL elements in every human beings DNA.

I don't think Egyptians are blacker than others because of sun exposure; as scientists preach today. Who knows.

I'm relying totally on what God created and what he used to mold it. Through science we are discovering that DNA is the carrier God Chose.

I look like my ancestors: all of them. They all migrated all over the world, from the lands of Israel. Scientists cannot find the Garden of Eden, even now.

It was in Nineveh, where people were "classed."

Working class, Elite class, Slave, Masters, etc.

God put it in us to carve out our own paths.

Cain killed Abel. Cain left and took the evil with him. Seth carried the DNA of Jesus Christ. God oversaw Jesus's bloodline thousands of years until Book of Luke.

What a Mighty God we serve!!
  • WHY GOD CREATED HUMANS AS HE DID__WHY COLORS - In Reply on Genesis 1:26 - 2 years ago
Everybody has different answers for that. I turn to Genesis where God created man. What material was He using?

    Genesis 1:26, Genesis 2:7

God FORMED (meaning molded) man from DUST. He made a clay with water. Scientists say our bodies are 50% water.

Then God breathed through Adams nose the breath of Gods life. Man became a living SOUL.

People get confused over Gen. 1:27 because here it says God created Adam "male & female". See Malachi 2:15 "ONE. A Pair.

Genesis 3:18 God purposes to make Adam a help, meet, for Adam.

Gen. 3:21 God opens Adam and takes a rib. God MADE a woman for Adam. They are "married" in verses 23-25

One=a man and a woman. But by the Books Leviticus and Deuteronomy, we see "perversions of the Plan of God". Which still persists in Romans chapter 1. Today it's different; people are having surgery. GOOD NEWS, They can still repent and be saved. God can't fix their bodies, but He will save their souls IF they repent.

Moses's writing of Genesis seems to skip around, but God told him how to write it down.

God planned that children would be born of one man and a woman. A pair. Married in covenant to each other.

Why different colors? God used dust because dust contains ALL colors. I'm an artist, and we use all mediums to make paint different colors and consistencies.

Eve came out of Adam, so her color was his color. Blending their DNA in a child, could produce a child of the color in that DNA. Colors, diseases, etc can happen if DNA is damaged somehow.

One color is not more precious to God. He wanted all colors, or he would've use just limestone or charcoal. He CHOSE DUST.

Satan was still around. He is the ACCUSER; creator of chaos. To hurt Gods creation, he preached Prejudice. We see in Nineveh when they built the Tower of Babel.

One day, Satan will be in the Lake of Fire, eternally.

DNA is not a curse. It has a purpose. Love yourself and love God. Grace is unmerited favor. Ask God for more.

    I love you

I thanked/complimented you, again Ma'am, in my thank you reply to the person below you who listed the Holy Bible verses. I wanted you to see that, if you even see THIS, and also--regardless of what the LORD will do in the future--please know that your words (and if COURSE your prayers, even moreso) help to serve as a "balm in Gilead," for those who are hurting in secret, and fear/assume that they wouldn't be belived--or worse--that they'd be attacked for telling the truth about people who outwardly appear good, but behind closed doors, are quite different than their public personas. I will pray for you and the others who have prayed (ones that have replied and ones that just pray without posting replies--as I mostly do/have done in the past), and for the oppressed worldwide as well! May GOD lift up the brethren, and may He and His name be exalted by ALL the poor and downtrodden. I hope He will help all in need as well, and that more will trust in Him, and see His care or/and live for them and not believe Satan and the devils' lies (like the scripture listed by the other replier spake of in John 8:37-59 ; 1 Peter 5:7-9 ; 1 Corinthians 10:13, etc)!
  • Christinique - 2 years ago
I was a lukewarm Christian who lived for the world for almost a year. I broke almost all of God's commandments, I was lustful, I did things that God hated, I followed the world and became in love with fame and money instead of God, I treated my phone and other devices as idols, I struggled with my sexuality, I told boys sexually what they wanted to hear, I never wanted God to come into my life thinking He would just "mess up my fun" since I wanted to do my own thing, and so much more than anyone could ever believe I did before since I was raised in a Christian household. Then my grandfather passed away and I just turned into a true demon that day. I ignored every warning that Jesus was returning, I didn't acknowledge the fact that God could have just taken my life, I ignored Jesus who kept knocking at the door of my heart not knowing that one day He could have returned and I would be left behind and I would've taken the mark of the beast for fun or to gain followers or to just follow what my friends were doing. One day whilst I was seeing how many more followers I gained, I fell to my knees unexpectedly and I was frozen there and out of nowhere I cried out to God. I asked for forgiveness for every single thing I did and I repented. After that, I felt His heavenly presence around me and I felt peace in my spirit and I was filled with love and joy. After His amazing encounter every sin that held me down disappeared, friends and boys started to dislike the new and improved Christian me but I didn't care since I asked God to remove anyone who wasn't right for me, I got many prophetic dreams and visions, and I thank God for saving me from my past that could have led me straight to hell. PRAISE GOD FOR HE SHALL LIVE FOREVER!!!

Thank you for the Holy Bible scripture, I just finished reading them. Thank you for your prayer as well, and for taking the time to provide scripture that spoke to the things I'd written in my lament/prayer request. My enemies lie, and I spake with one a few hours or so ago, and your 2nd to last scripture helped with dealing with the despondency that arose within me after the person finished lying, yelled at me...for explaining that the false promise made today, was literally, the EXACT same false promise made the day before, and the day before that. I wouldn't have cone back here, and even SEEN you and Ms Donna's kind, selfLESS, healthFUL(L), and helpFUL(L) replies, had I not been yelled at, then, amazingly (but not unsurprisingly) lied to in conclusion with "I wouldn't lie to you!" Sigh! I KNEW I would be lied to before I spoke to the person....

    Thank you, again!

  • WHY UNLEAVENED BREAD - In Reply - 2 years ago
God picked Israel to be His peculiar people and shower His love on them. We don't know why now, but someday we will know. He asks us to pray for them and we do. We don't know why. He is the Creator. He doesn't load us up with a huge DO LIST every day. Just small requests. We need you to make contributions of your knowledge of what God is showing you, too.

    Genesis 19:3

And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat.

    Exodus 12:8

And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.

    Exodus 12:17

And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever.

    Exodus 12:20

Ye shall eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations shall ye eat unleavened bread.

[note: LEAVEN is flour with yeast in it. The kind we like most]. There are 50 scriptures on unleavened bread.

    Bill,

In Mark 9:23, Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

So Jesus said to him, If you can believe, all things are possible to him that believes.

But look what the man says in Verse 24, and this is a beautiful, beautiful picture of how we ought to approach the Lord.

"And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief."

Nowhere in the Bible does it challenge someone to come up with their own faith so that Jesus can perform in your life. That's the cry of a person. I believe, but Lord Help my unbelief because I can't believe. Only God can give me that. Help my unbelief!

It is always the strong point in a person's life when they can approach the Lord, even as a nonbeliever, even if you don't understand the things of God, you can still approach Him and say "Lord, if you are real, make yourself real to me!"

I mean, as a nonbeliever, as somebody who doesn't believe in God, you are asking God to do it all because you realize your human inability to figure Him out.

But how are you going to find God? How are you going to know about Him? You know, when you come to Him and say, help my unbelief, I am empty, magnify yourself to me, show yourself to me, because I don't have the ability to know, and He reaches down to those people to manifest Himself.

    Hope this helps!
