Next I wish to speak of how God' character is "QUINTESSENTIAL"

Which means the highest, purest, most perfect, supreme manifestation, example, incarnation, type of the essence of something, the express image.

Jesus is the quintessential expression of God.

Hebrews 1:3 "Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on High."

Colossians 2:9 "For in Him dwelleth ALL the fullness of the Godhead bodily"

John 14:9 "Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip?

He that hath seen me hath seen the Father,, and how saith though then: Show us the Father?

Jesus is God in the flesh. He is the Son of the Father eternally and one with the Father and the Holy Spirit. The Godhead is three Persons in one Godhead. Not three gods, but one. Jesus became man to save us and to show us a fleshy person of the Godhead, that is in union with the Godhead as the Word made flesh. Jesus is the perfect manifestation of true God. There is no other who can truly and perfectly represent God to us. Jesus is the only one who came from within the Godhead to earth to live as a man for us. The Holy Spirit is the only Spirit who came from within the Godhead to come to live in us. When Jesus came to earth, the Father and the Spirit were in Him yet still separate Persons from Him. And when the Holy Spirit lives in us, the Father and the Son lives in each of us, yet are still separate Persons. There are not multiple Fathers and Sons and Holy Spirits inhabiting every believer that every has lived. There is only one. God who is everywhere present all the time and specifically present in every believer. This is a mystery, but it is real and true. God has told us so in His Word that is truly true.

In heaven, if Jesus is the only one we see of the Godhead, we will truly be seeing the Godhead.

    "Aaron's Rod"

"And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions." (Matt.22:46)

Here we see the fulfillment of the word of God. In continuation with the blossoming of Aaron's rod we shall examine the verse, "And the LORD said unto Moses, Bring Aaron's rod again before the testimony, to be kept for a token against the rebels; and thou shalt quite take away their murmurings from me, that they die not."Nu.17:10) God had earlier said why he was setting the rod of Aarons against others. " And it shall come to pass, that the man's rod, whom I shall choose, shall blossom: and I will make to cease from me the murmurings of the children of Israel, whereby they murmur against you." The man whom I shall choose" can only in obedience to the MOU in the Abstract considering 'the fruit in itself'. The point is to put to silence whosoever murmured against Moses. The quote from St Matthew is confirmation of the word of God. God had laid out the principle of the seed in itself and the fruit bearing tree being representative of the divine Will. This is Jesus Christ the Word become flesh. In short Moses is a double for the Son.

"And it came to pass, that on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds."(17:8).The Aaron's rod blossoming was signal for resurrection power of God and his word. If we are planted by God and abiding in him the day of regeneration shall show the seed was 'itself'. John 15:3 The will of God shall be fulfilled by the Son. Putting date for his coming and all such nonsense as misguided preachers put out are not from God. Now is the day of salvation where only two components exist: the word of God to which the determine Will and as fulfilled in the Son by whosoever abides in him in faith. This is faith with works.

"In the day of salvation" (2 of 2)

"He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end."(Ec.3:11)

No man can find out the mind of God to control time. Only from the work of God one can make sense. This work of God is to believe Jesus Christ. "This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent."( John 6:28-29). When Jesus said "I am the resurrection, and the life." ( John 11:25,26) Martha had no understanding to connect this directly to the Son of man but Jesus corrects her and admit it was so."Believest thou this?" In this context what does the budding of Aaron's rod signify? Who shall serve God is it Levi, Israel as a nation or Jesus Christ the Word become flesh? "and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds."(Nu.17:8,2) The Word of God decreed the day of salvation in his Son.(Ps.2:6-8) This is the Will of God so in the Abstract we have the MOU between God and Man. "and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so." Moses wrote the name of Levi as commanded by God. 'The seed in itself' is indicative it is the word of God is going to work in this test. The work of God according the quote from JohnCh.6 flowering of the rod in a proof of Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever. (He.13:8)The rod flowered according to the divine Will. Time is of no consequence.

Which came first: chicken or egg? The divine Will is omnipotence. Accordingly the word of God supplied all the information so we are to accept both as one, as the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind. The world of blackholes prove information cannot be lost. neither can the word of God. We deceived ourselves to think atom bombs would stop the WWII We did not even imagine the name North Korea then. It just proves.

"In the day of salvation" (1 of 2)

"Behold, now is the day of salvation.)"2 Co.6:2

The Spirit as always the case is prefaces the day with the term 'behold' and it is not simply the matter of seeing. It is seeing as intended by God. Its relevance is backed by the word of God. We hear with our ears but in order to understand what we hear is not in the ear itself but elsewhere in our brain. We need not go into neuroscience but to our purpose we treat the word of God as a sound as well as it is a sign.It explains us to under the aspect of time. "Now" is not simply as we count earth time but as determined by God who is Omnipresent . It is how He treats time as determined by the Will. "For I am the Lord I change not"(Mal.3:6). When God called us it was according to his Son and what does the everlasting covenant mean but a day decreed for him. This is the day of Salvation St Paul speaks about. This period of time is the now in God's will. If we have heard the call it means that at a point of time we heard and we responded to it. St Paul was on his way to Damascus when he heard it and we all similarly heard it in time and place, but no matter our time got entangled with the will of God. That is the element of time 'Now' St Paul talks about.

Isaiah gave King Hezekiah a sign. "And Isaiah said, This sign shalt thou have of the Lord, that the Lord will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees, or go back ten degrees?"(2 Ki.20:9,11) It happened as the king asked. We treat time as linear but God deals with His will according to the Law, the eternal word (Ps.119:89). For example, How Israel responded to Hamas on Oct.7 was tit for tat. But what is happening with the Houthis about Yemen, nobody foresaw it. This is how our calculations time-motion analysis go wrong. In short we deceive ourselves when we base our decisions outside the will of God.

    "Degree"

"Surely men of low degree are a vapour, Men of high degree are a lie; If they are weighed on the scales, They are altogether lighter than vapour."(Ps.62:9-NKJV)

A degree marks ascent or descent in matter of development. It is a sign for the faithless nation in their perpetual backsliding. In extending the life of King Hezekiah the sundial showed something else. It went backwards, "And Hezekiah answered, "It is an easy thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees; no, but let the shadow go backward ten degrees."/ So Isaiah the prophet cried out to the LORD, and He brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down on the sundial of Ahaz.(2 Ki.2:20-8-11-NKJV).

"So the last shall be first, and the first," Jesus warned. Here we have a saying of Jesus that is built of chiastic structure. The Spirit instructs from the life of Hezekiah how the word of God works. The birth of Manasseh and his evil rein was consequential for Israel to be cast off as an apostate nation. Time is what the word of God shall make of the predetermined will of God.

    Amen Tunney!

That's what James 2:18 is saying.

We aa Christians should examine ourselves, "Not by what we do or by what we don't do or what we know, But by Who we have! Christ!

I'd we have Christ Spirit the inside of our vessels will be cleansed.

Then we can wash one another feet.

( Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

    And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;

    And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;

And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 1:4-8.

    God bless.

Dear Andrew, I will be praying for you in your situation. My 2 sons also suffer from severe depression and are seeking to get the best treatments that will being greatest success. I can tell you this, that God hears our cries for help. He knows all that is going on in our lives. He cares for every person He has made. So, the simple act of praying to Him as one who is unsure of His existence or whether He would help you is still a valid prayer. Tell Him that you do not know if He is truly the only God that is alive for us to turn to asking for God to help You to believe. Tell Him that you are in such need and that you are unsure if He will help You, but ask Him as one who sees that God is your last and only hope in life. These are honest deep prayers that God hears. He will help you, I can say for sure because He has helped me in times of great distress throughout my life.

Andrew, sincerely, I will pray for you when I pray for my sons, as I do so almost daily. let me know how you are doing on this journey that is so difficult now.

Dear Jehovah God, I'm asking that you please help rescue me from my substance addiction problem and restore me to sanity and from homelessness; for I do believe that you have kept me and still have me on this earth for a significant reason. Please do open my eyes that I see that purpose and live to serve it, for I'm hopeless yet you find and give me strength and a reason to live. I ask this through your Son my lord and savior Christ Jesus.

feelings of "condemnation" are difficult to shake off sometimes.
  • Giannis - In Reply - 9 months ago
    Hello Rainwalker

Hebrews 12:7, "17 For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears."

It says " though he sought IT carefully with tears" What do you think that "IT" is refering to?

Question. If one repents is there any case God rejects them? Answer. No, God always forgives Actually this is what God wants us to do when we sin. Next question. If we want to repent and seek to do it, is there any case that God rejects us? Is there any case that we want and have decided in our minds to repent and still not being able to repent? Really our heart is not that easy to come to repentance some times but when I have decided that in my mind then God forgives me at that very moment. Actually God will always gives us His grace to overcome our stony heart when we have decided to condemn our actions. So next question. Why was Esau rejected although he seeked with tears to find forgiveness? Well because simply he didn't ask for forgiveness. That "IT" is refering to the " inheritance" not to forgiveness or repentance. So the verse in simple words reads as " Esau was rejected by God when he wanted to get the inheritance because he didn't repent, although he wanted to get the inheritance very much(with tears)". So don't worry. When God sees that we condemn in our mind something we did, He always runs to our help and ease us to repent, if we have problem doing it, and He gives us His grace because He wants to get us to very end, the kingdom of Heaven. Also in NT there are no consequences like with David in the OT, when we sin and repent. It is like we have never done anything, God forgets it and He never punishes, no way.. GBU

    Andrew,

You and I are children when compared to God who is eternal. So we simply take him on trust. Take one day at a time. Ask him to take you by the hand and let not circumstances distract you but to hold the assurance that we are here for a purpose. You have depression and I am half blind but so far I have not felt abandoned but simply got on with my life and do thing pleasing in my Father's eyes. If we could manage tomorrow to do whatever needs be done continue tomorrow. It is a little more easier. It is thus I have managed. Take God on his trust. What you need is the trust that your heavenly Father sees what you require and accordingly take you around by hand. Above all child-like trust: God is good.

    May God bless you,

I live in the middle of a small industrial town , right in its centre . Fifty yards from my home is a small lake where we have regularly been blessed by a pair of swans , they mate for life . Last year they raised six signets here . I was terrified for them because of this area , lots of dog walkers etc so I did include them in my prayers . From my home I can't quite see the lake because of another building in the way ,but this morning as I looked out of my kitchen window I saw four huge white birds flying together , I knew it's too late for geese , I quickly got my glasses and saw that it was four of the swans . They circled the area flying very high and after a minute , seemed to pick a direction and just flew off in a straight line . I watched them for as long as I could see them . May God bless them and keep them safe , healthy and together . Thy Kingdom Come , when lions shall lay down next to lambs and both shall eat straw and they shall not hurt nor destroy and shall learn war no more .

Hi Andrew. I could give you scripture references, tho one who has not yet submitted to God, Yahweh, can't get it, until they have a reason to give in. I feel you are at this point and by my life experience of what it's like, to get it is simply a child like giving up for which ever reason ends up having you at this point right now, is a good thing and is now time to give up and like a child, and admit it's all to much and you now need daddy, Yahweh and I call him abbadaddyto take over and work inside you what know you don't yet have. it's really as simple in telling God in sincerity and with a begging thought, i want it, show me and I'll just do it.that I'm tired , I'm hurtin and I'm ready to to it "your way".. then! And only then, not necessarily by goishie feelings but by a mind change to do things Gods way a person will soon see and know dad ( Yahweh) can work in your mind ( your inner being.,your soul..) and a peace and understanding can begin to grow and prepare you to be one of "his" and work through, what is the holy wind. ruach Ha Quodesh ( Holy Spirit )to change what you think you know and what you've been doing, which is preparing us to live forever with Him in the " kingdom" he is getting ready for us and actually live, walk and talk in that place forever with him and others who have done this life.. His way. make the commitment first and mean it. open a bible on this app and I suggest a KJV version and in your soul ask as you read for his spirit to open your mind to begin to and hear this spirit of God begin to talk to you within yourself, read the whole books of Romans .again and again and each time you do more will become apparent and one becomes what messiah called being born again and you will as you "do" what it says.slowly have that knowing and peace that your in His hands to take care of you forever, tho, only if you "do" and keep on doing by willpower at Fiand know.. until it. Becomes a natural hunger.. I love telling you these things.Mark

    Hello Andrew,

Thanks for sharing that. Have you tried to read the Bible before? Jesus really does offer hope and guidance.

As far as evidence of God, you stated it backwards. Science and logic confirm God, that's why there's so many highly educated people in science and medicine who believe in God. Many were atheists before. Just take a look at your hands, your skin, your arteries and veins that pump blood around your body, your nervous system that allows you to feel, your 3D vision, surround sound, water cooling, and heating system, digestive system, reproductive system, on and on. You are very complex and have a smartly designed body. Is it more likely that it was designed by an accident or designed intentionally? How often today do we see accidents design order? Is it more often than accidents that cause disorder? Science and the 2nd law of thermodynamics shows that with no intelligent input, things will resort to disorder and chaos. In this manner, science supports and basically proves the existence of intelligent design.

How often do you see buildings build themselves? Has science ever proven that 1 building ever built itself? Or a painting, has science ever proven that a single painting has painted itself- even an abstract one with a disordered design- I mean a brush was picked up, dipped in paint, and deliberately put on an upright canvas. It seems more likely that a painter is the one who painted the painting, not nothing. It would also seem more scientific to say that a builder is more likely the one who built a building, not nothing, and not an accidental explosion. Likewise, it seems more logical and scientific to say that a designer was the one who designed the design of the body. We're the most intelligent life on earth and we still marvel at the complexity, intelligence, and brilliance of the design of the human body, and of animals, and plants and creation. It would be unscientific to assume that a creator didn't create the creation.
