Hi Suzanne , I'm a Suzanne too ! I shall continue to call myself Suze on here so there shouldn't be any confusion . Thanks for your post , John is an awesome book and probably my favourite of the Gospels . Hope to hear more from you .

Dear Gigi , do u find these scriptures unhealthy or devilish ; Rev Ch 1 V 6 , Rev Ch 5 V 10 or Rev Ch 20 V 4 ? I feel sure that u don't . I don't know much about u but I think maybe u r one of many people who believe that after we die we r judged and then either go to heaven or hell , forgive me please if I am wrong about that . When I was young I thought that way because I had been told by people who I thought must know better than me . Once I read the Bible for myself I discovered that that's not the case . It's hard sometimes to cast off old beliefs , I understand that . May God bless you and your studies of His Word .

    I agree Suze,

The wonder of the natural beauty of this world and of people is really a blessing. I would much rather be out in the mountains, at the beach, or by a stream than in the city with all of the buildings, concrete, and busyness. Thanks for sharing.

Hello, As I consider once again these appearances you pointed out, I am reminded that we are to remember that God is truly holy and pure. We should revere Him and avoid speaking lightly of Him be flippant in our approach to Him. But instead, I think we should seek God with humble adoration and gratitude and rejoicing. Perhaps we need more of this attitude and practice in our lives and churches today. We don't need to be "entertained" by God or the church service, but instead we are to bring a sacrifice of praise and an offering of worship to God, for He is worthy.
  • GiGi - In Reply - 3 years ago
yes, Suze, we will be serving others and God.
  • GiGi again - In Reply - 3 years ago
    Good morning Earl.

I do understand these Scriptures, I just wanted to make the point that ruling and judging others is often interpreted in the

worldly way, but in reality, Jesus instructed us to be humble and not desire to be great or to "lord" over others, but with humility

and in service to others and God.

I do not believe that Jesus is in all of creation like you stated, that is known as pantheism or perhaps panentheism (which is part

of Eastern Mysticism and other pagan religions.) I also do not think that we will be with God, or, become the Holy Spirit or

Jesus as you seem to imply. We are united to God through Jesus, and Jesus did pray for His disciples to be united or of "one

mind" in His last supper discourse, but this is not referring to a melding or mixing of humanity with God (which, again, is

Eastern Mysticism, pagan teaching). We will always be human and God will glorify our humanity in resurrected bodies, but we

will never be deified, be the "exactness of Christ" for He is both God and man. We will be like the perfected humanity of Jesus,

but not like His divinity. Such a belief that we become deified is blasphemous, since God has said that He alone is God and there

    is no other beside Him.

So, Earl, once again, you are assuming that I am ignorant of what these verse teach, though the reality is that I just don't align

myself with your theology. It is good to have you back posting, but some of what you post is very incorrect, in my opinion.

Therefore we will not have a "meeting of the minds" on the points I mentioned. Have a good day and I pray for God to bless

    you richly.

Ephesians 4 26 explains about being angry. Exodus 20'5 say he is a jealous God also. God is sad when we are stubborn and don't have faith to obey him and we read all through the bible that when his children are disobedient God pours his wrath out

I love John chapter 8. It brings direction in this dark world where people, who are like those who were seeking to kill Jesus, are seeking to take away the peace of Christians.

The closer the Day of the Lord draws near to us, the more that media and social platforms will be contaminated with godless programming. I never leave the tv on for companionship or "white noise".

I only listen to Christian music: gospel and oldies like Petra, Darrell Mansfield (goes to Greg Laurie's church), Terry and his brother John Michael Talbot music. There's preachers on FM radio too. I pray for all to stay true to Jesus.

I do have YouTube premium for news. They do have Christian movies; I watch Nelson Walters and Erick Stakelbeck for prophetic news.

It helps me to sit down and read my Bible and pray for those who get De-railed by the stuff on network tv. I'm not on any social media. I go outside and talk to neighbors and friends and pray with them. Talk to total strangers everywhere I go. People are really lonely.

I always remember that evangelists are Jesus and his disciples with shoes on our feet. :) carrying the good news.

Tomorrow is Passover and the day of Jesus's Resurrection remembrance day. I will lift my song with yours my friend in Christ.

Unfortunately, the majority modern churches deny pretribulation rapture. It does indeed occur before the tribulation.

"Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth." - Revelation 3:10

The hour of temptation are the events preceding the rapture which include the rising of the anti-christ and the mark of the beast. Many will misinterpret the above verse to mean something else. But it's clear God never intended for His church to suffer through the tribulation.

You'll see many comments after my post by those who've accepted modern preaching of replacement theology. Don't let your heart be troubled or confused. I'll leave God's Word to conclude...

Mark 13:32-37, "But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch."

In Psalms 23 It shows Gods ability to take care of us. The Rod was used by the Shepard to fight of animals that were attacking the sheep it was short and pointy. The staff was used to keep the Sheep from straight It was long and hooked at the end. In the same way God can protect us from evil and keep us in the straight and narrow.
  • Suze - In Reply on 1 Corinthians 6:13 - 3 years ago
I think that part of the problem is that so many people view these things as a bit of harmless fun and not actually evil . People are so easily deceived and they don't even realise it . These Kingdoms of men are full of distractions and deceits , things that keep our minds and hearts away from seeking the Truth . We are flooded with false information all the time , we have access to all kinds of evil things now , especially with the internet , it's hard to know what is real and what is lie . There's only one Truth and only one place to find it , the Bible . Thanks Mishael , much love in Christ .

We will be serving God , teaching and instructing in the same way that those seventy were chosen to help Moses remember ? Moses is a type of Christ and we will be his helpers in the way that those seventy helped Moses . The humans that are left will look up to us as teachers , helping them to stay on the right path and giving judgements . We will be servants , servants of God and actually servants of the humans also because we will be helping them to learn the Truth . This is all explained in the Bible .

Praise to our GOD in heaven, The LORD Jesus Christ! By your inclusion of this commentary from the pen of Matthew Henry you have supplied for me a key to the unlocking of the Wisdom of Scripture, which wisdom I could not attain unto, though for 40+ years now, even with pleadings to Him, I have tried by my own devices. God's Wisdom is plain if I will but receive it.

This morning I thought more on Lazarus & the parable of Lazarus, in thinking about it: maybe the parable/story was also about how the "Rich" in scriptural knowledge, not sharing or helping while Lazarus had "wounds the dogs would._." alone in his suffering, while the other had historical words of hope, healing, redemption, deliverance.

Just thinking: even though Lazarus in real life may not have been financially poor, his sister had been tormented by 7 demons, in front of the ' religious ' for they judged her openly, Lazarus who dwelt with his sister/s suffered.

Jesus walks in, delivers, redeems, forgives, restores & teaches GOD's words. Mark 16:9, Luke 5:17, Luke 5:29-32, Mark 2:14-17, Matthew 9:10-13, Luke 8:2, Mark 16:9,

John 11:2, John 12:1-11, Luke 7:36-50, Luke 8:2, believing Mary to be Mary Madgelene, & reading John 11:2, (as the only time Jesus feet were anointed with oil, & wiped by a Mary's hair)

Luke 16, interestingly in the Parable/story the "rich" man cried "Father Abraham, have mercy._.._" & "if they hear not Moses an the Prophets._."

    John 11, & John 12,

GiGi, I don't think you understand:

1 Peter 4:17 For the time is come (the day of the Lord, when man can be created in the IMAGE OF CHRIST) that judgement must began at the house of the Lord (YOU and I and all God's creation is the HOUSE OF THE LORD)....

Hebrews 3:6 But Christ a son over his own house; whose house we are (the temple of God) ....

Remember Christ drove the money changers out of the TEMPLE with a WHIP.

All creation is God's temple and God is going to CLEANSE HIS TEMPLE.

Christ was INSIDE that temple made with hands when he drove out the unsavory.

Christ (in the form of the Holy Ghost) is still inside the TEMPLE MADE WITHOUT HANDS (CREATION), along with those that have come to truth that they also will be the exactness of Christ, in the form of the Holy Ghost) bring man into TRUTH, that you are the image of God.

Paul, Peter, and everyone that has left their body of flesh and become one with God; and God is Spirit, are now in MEN, judging the world.

Proverbs 16:6 By MERCY and TRUTH (God is mercy and truth, so are the saints that are judging the world

with Christ, as ministering spirits) INIQUITY IS PURGED .....

Psalms 104:4 Whom maketh his angels (ministering) spirits, his ministers a flame of FIRE.

Hebrews 12:29 For our God (God is Spirit) is a consuming fire.

    God Bless You!

Does great tribulation come before the rapture? Or are the chosen for the rapture, taken before tribulation?
  • Sing a New Song Unto the Lord - In Reply on Revelation 1 - 3 years ago
The appearance of Deity in the Old Testament brought humbling responses. When the Lord appeared to Moses from a burning bush, Moses hid his face because he was afraid to look at God ( Exodus 3:1-6). When Isaiah saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, he cried out, "Woe is me! For I am lostfor my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts" ( Isaiah 6:5). When the prophet Daniel received a vision of the glorious Christ, his strength left him. He fell into deep sleep with his face to the ground. However, an angel touched him and told him not to fear ( Daniel 10:8-12).

When the apostle John saw the glorified Christ, he fell at His feet as though dead ( Revelation 1:17). However, the Lord responded by telling Him not to fear. He identified himself as He did in verse 8 as the first and the last. Because believers are united by faith to Him, who is eternal, they too have nothing to fear.

Lots of people have seen Jesus in visions. I have. He is seated at the right Hand of God, making intercession for all believers who will come to Him.

I can tell jaw dropping testimonies of Jesus's intervention but it is by the Holy Spirits unction that I do. We are His disciples and it is Jesus who deserves the praise and thanks.

We don't wait TO FEEL like praising and worshipping and honoring Jesus. He is worthy to receive it always.

What does it mean to sell your birthright or in some of you give it away.

    Esau did both.

While we do not understand His providence, those who may wonder about these things will see His sovereignty, even as Jacob and Esau become living examples of the mercies of God.

Living out their lives these two would eventually reunite as brothers.

The true inheritance is the birthright too all who live in the Devine providence of God!

His sovereignty is yours and mine, if we are in the providence of Him!

If you are living outside of Him , there cannot be reunification, nor inheritance, nor birthright.

There would be no well of water without the providence of God.

Do you see Him sitting their waiting for you?

Come too Him and ask of Him a drink of this water, this water that springs up to eternal life! Glory to God in the Highest, peace and good will toward man! In the name of God the Father , God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit!

    Repent and be baptized

    Dear brothers and sisters.

I have a question to ask. What is your opinion about the following statement?

"Early Christians used to take the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ (the Holly Communion) EVERY Sunday"

If your agree to this, then should we do the same nowadays?

    God Bless You All.

This Chapter should open our eyes to the State and condition of the church today 2:6 the "Nicolaitans" He says I hate! If the "CHURCH " would really Seek the true WORD of today , they would realize why we Aren't the Book of ACTS Today , but should be!! Idolatry and Pagan traditions of man has saturated Gods house and Replaced the Holy Spirit with Man's agenda! God Help us and Forgive us!!

Yes Chris he wd have been forgiven Thats y the scripture is saying when we were yet sinners Christ died for us All of us...Ya gotta realize what he did at calvary is gonna be applied to everyman...Its just like what Adam did was applied to everyman no exceptions...But there is a good lesson in Saul/Paul...Saul was a murderer the 1st born...But the 2 nd man was Paul ...( the 2 nd man is the lord from Heaven )...He chose us before the world began

...No Chris even after we die there is chance of salvation...If IN THIS LIFE ONLY we have hope in Christ we are of all men most miserable...1 ST COR. 15 :19...What you are not understanding is even death cannot separate us from the love of God... Even Paul said we know in part we prophecy in Part etc but When that which is prefect is come that which is done in part will be done away with...No body cd see clearly under early Church doctrine...Just like the blindman cd not see clearly under the 1st anointing

...Early Church doctrine answers the 1st Anonting...But the blind man cd not see clearly under the 1st Anointing...Modern day Christianity answers to the Blindman that cd not see clearly under early CHURCH DOCTRINE....Thats y there is a different church on every corner...No body can see clearly under early CHURCH DOCTRINE.

...Chris God accepts everybody simply b/c of the Blood of the lamb...When i see the Blood i will pass over you...Remember that lil diddy...It didn't matter what they did or where they were from....When the Blood was applied to the Doorpost they were saved...But now under that new covenant his blood is applied to the doorposts of our hearts..Which is H.G. baptism...

....Chris the most concrete Doctrine there is... NOTHIN CAN SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF GOD...Absolutly nothing, not even DEATH.
