Hi Alex , having read through some of the responses that you get , I genuinely think that some people have difficulty understanding your posts , I don't and I'm sure others don't but I think that some defo do . This makes me a bit sad . For you , because you get a few negative responses , and for them because they just don't seem to get it . I have to wonder what some people think that 1st Corinthians Ch 15 V 13-28 means especially V 28 . I wonder what people think about the awesome depiction of the temple in Ezekiel is about and who the Prince is . Please don't be disheartened Alex , we are all at different levels and I personally love to read things that are a bit beyond me as it stimulates me to study and learn more . Keep it up please . Much love in Christ .

Dear everyone Happy Easter! These verses also have a bit to say: Matthew 22:37-40

Hello Joanne. Of Noah's sons, Japheth was the eldest ( Genesis 10:21) & Ham was the youngest ( Genesis 9:24). Therefore, Shem would have to be the middle son.

We're not given the name of Noah's wife in the Bible. However, many pieces of non-biblical literature & traditions from various religions, each give her a different name. Maybe one of them is correct, or more likely, none at all.

I really enjoyed your post , thank you . I believe that God speaks to each of us on an individual level and I don't believe that all Christians have to have the exact same personalities or they can't be Christians . We are allowed to be extrovert or introvert , social or solitary . When we read the four Gospel accounts we can hear the four different personalities in their books and we can for sure get to know Paul's personality through his letters . We are not clones of each other , we know the heart and mind of Christ and hopefully act according to it . God uses our different personalities to accomplish His works in this world . We are all being guided on our own individual paths , these paths take us all closer to our saviour . May God bless you on your journey , much love in Christ .

Hi John. From my understanding of the Word on this subject, I don't connect the Jewish Sabbath (the 7th day), with the Lord's Day (the 1st day of the week). True, there are some who call this day, the Christian Sabbath, but I believe they are errant, as no such special day has been given to us, nor practised by the early Church. When they came on the first day of the week to break bread or collection for the saints ( Acts 20:7; 1 Corinthians 16:1,2), it wasn't a Sabbath celebration, but a Christian coming together for worship & fellowship.

Now some believers wish to keep the Jewish Sabbath holy & desist from all work. If that is their desire then so be it, but if one amongst them doesn't keep 'that' Sabbath, there shouldn't be a thought or a snide look or comment to their apparent failure. The one in Christ is free to keep any day for worshipping together & also any day for physical rest (see Romans 14:5,6; & the whole chapter of how a believer should consider others who do things or believe differently from others).

I understand your dilemma & frustration Rick, in not finding the answers that will settle your heart. Indeed, as many sects of Christianity & denominations there are, so are their varied beliefs that are formulated from their study of the Scriptures. The Word of God is clear & sufficient for our knowledge & spiritual growth, yet I sometimes think if, for example, the Apostle Paul could be here to give a more comprehensive understanding of what he has written in his letters. The Christians he was writing to understood the subject & the problems associated with it, but to us two millenia down the road, that correspondence sometimes feels a little short of that 'extra' much-needed information. And this goes for all the writers of the Bible Books. Even then I suppose, the 'Churches' will still find room to re-read the Scriptures to conform to their beliefs.

I'm unsure what Scriptures you have been given to read in the past, concerning human death & the Lord's Coming, but I'm sure as you re-read them prayerfully, indeed all of Scripture, you may get a better understanding of these subjects. If you can hold to a solid base of belief (e.g. does a human spirit remain on Earth or not at the time of death?; when we read of the Lord's Judgements, which one is for those in Christ & which one for the unsaved?), you can slowly & carefully build upon them. The biggest mistake many make, is to find one Scripture & construct a whole doctrine from it; rightly dividing the whole Word & then coming to an understanding of how things fit together will give you a satisfaction & peace as well as an openness to appreciate what another person might also believe on that subject. May the Lord guide you to His Truth.

This sin of eating the communion bread with out respecting the Body began with Judas.

Jesus was asked to point out the betrayer. Jesus said it is he who takes the morsel from His hand. Judas took the morsel and in that moment Satan entered him. Then Jesus said; "do what you must but do it quickly". Jesus seemed to speak toJudas and Satan as one.

This depraved act was completely unmindful of Christ's crucifixion the next day. Judas took the bread having decided to betray the Lord. After choosing to act Judas took from Jesus His Body given up for the forgiveness of sin. Judas ate the bread not considering that Jesus said "this is my body"

By this act Satan, having in himself the power of death can rightfully cause anyone else who so thoughtlessly and sinfully approaches the Communion meal suffers condemnation and is subject to Satan's power of death.

What was Noah s wifes name ? Which son was born first ?
  • Grandma JoJo Preiser on Psalms 23 - 2 years ago
My favorite wife in the Bible.....Noah's wife....the town neighbors thought the ark was strange, gathering of the animals interesting, locking themselves in with all the animals and family members a bit odd. Then 40 days inside with no toilets or running water, then landed on a mountain, let most animals free and began rebuilding a new home without a plumbers, electricity and no lowes or homedepot. Kind of like a prehistoric cruise. God bless your week and Easter weekend. Jody, grandma from the outer banks, north Carolina.

  • Rick Haggett - 2 years ago
Thanks in the past for all the answers in regards to my question. I am still searching through this confusion and it is not God confusing me it is my lack of finding the facts and the truth. I seem to have two different versions of what happens after death and seen this first hand from two different religious organizations on TV. One says one thing and uses the Bible to support it and another uses the Bible as well to say the opposite. So I continue to look finding the right scriptures that will tell me upon death do we go to heaven right away as it tells us once to die and then the judgement. The key word there is Then. Then we have others that say that Christ returns to the sky not to earth and takes his people dead first then Alive to be with him. So, how can our Lord bring the soul from the grave when it left there upon death? That is my question. Finding out the order of things and what is right. Have a good easter.

    Hi Jeremiah.

God bless you and Amen to all who have responded with great truth!!

Tina reminded me of something I would like to add.

In Luke 22:31-32. Jesus tells peter Satan desires to sift him like wheat.

Then in Luke 22:34. Jesus said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.

The Lord stands outside of time looking in. He knew what sins we would commit before we committed them and he knew who would come to him.

What's wonderful about that is we can't disappoint him.

We are saved according to his mercy Titus 3:5. by grace through faith. Ephesians 2:8-9.

    God bless you.

    Hi Bruce.

    Perhaps these verses.

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:1-2.

    Thanks Gigi.

I've heard it said recently that everyone will be refined by fire and make it in Gods heavenly kingdom whether they accepts Christ or not,

Here's what that looks like according to their Doctrine.

    1) "An un repented sinner in the likes of Vladimir Putin doesn't needs Christ to enter Heaven".

What's the point of the commandment not to kill?

    2) Vladimir Putin is going to have a baby Holy Ghost. REALLY?

I thought Jesus was going to present us as a chased virgin.

    That means blameless!!

You can't be blameless without the blood of Christ!!

There's no salvation in this teaching.

All facets of the Bible is purposed to lead to salvation or anticipation of a savior coming or came.

What's the point in being a sacrificial Lamb if ALL die and live again to go to Heaven? By the blood of Christ what did we escape from?

This teaching is an offense to the cross and put the death of Christ to an open shame!

And it diminishes the love of God mentioned in John 3:16. because this teaching presents the crucifixion was useless when saying all will be saved anyway.

Hell fire represents a place of torment, Not refining.

    John 14:6.

    God bless.

The king could not sleep that night

So he decided to read a book

The book of his legal records

He decided to take a look

He was reminded of the time

    When Mordecai reported the plot

    The king wanted to know

How he had been thanked for his troth

    Nothing had been done

    Not yet for this man

The king wanted to reward him

    Thank him for his stand

    Haman had just arrived

    To ask for Mordecai's death

The king asked for Haman's presence

    They hadn't spoken just yet

He asked what should I do

    To honor a good man

Hey man thought he would get

    All that he can

He must be speaking of me

I am the man he upholds

I would give him a royal horse

Put on him a royal robe

I was slowly parade this man

    Through the city streets

    Proclaiming his royal honor

For all of the people to see

Go do these things at once

You'll leave the horse, yes you

    Do all that you recommended

    For Mordecai the Jew

    Haman robed Mordecai

Led him through the city streets

    Proclaiming his honor for all

For all the people to hear and see

    Mordecai went back to rest

Sit down at the palace gate

Haman rush home and told his wife

    All about his day

    She said he must forget

    About his malicious plan

Because now the Jew he hated

Was a famed and honored man

    Haman was not happy

For he knew what she said was true

    How did the tables turn?

Now he must honor the Jew

    It's time for Esther's banquet

Where the king wants to hear her voice

    Haman had to hurry

To attend he had no choice

    (By Esther Coleman-Spells)

I hope you enjoyed the poem for Esther 6.

    Dear sister in Jesus Christ

Again and again go to God snd ask Him to heal you. We have believed in a God who heals. What is the point of reading in the Bible stories about people that asked for healiings and received them and not do what they have done? Those stories have been written to become examples to people who face the same problems. The Gospel is a guidance for us. Listen to the advices that were given to you in the replies but take myne as well .GO TO GOD.

    Dear brother.

Please read carefully the passage in Matthew 12:22-37 You will then understand that blaspheming the Holly Spirit is to attribute to satan actions done by the Holly Spirit like healing. NOTHING ELSE. And one to be aware of what he is doing. Because one may just say what he has heard from other people and just repeat it. That is not blasphemy. God does not attribute to people what they don't know but when know and still choose to do the other thing.

It is very important to always know that when one blasphemies God's Spirit HE NEVER REPENTS that is why this sin is not forgiven. If you had done that you wouldn't worry at all, you wouldn't care at all. The fact that you worry and this thing troubles you so much is the proof you didn't do it.

So stop being sad and trouble yourself and start rejoicing. Your name is in The Book of Life like everybody's else who repent for their sins and ask for the Blood of Jesus.

    Again rejoice

    1 Corinthians 12:3

Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

Don't curse the Spirit. It won't be forgiven.

The only way to overcome this is massive Bible reading in the New Testament.

Acts19:19, you may need to get rid of worldly or cursed objects. It opens a door for "unclean demons" to hang out at your home. Ask God for an angel to guard your home.

If your heart condemns you__pray Right away. The more Bible in YOU, the less you'll be tempted.

with The HOLY SPIRIT inside of you, you will stop your cursing, but you have to listen for that "still small voice". That's Him.

Memorize 1or 2 scriptures you can quote out loud, instead of swear. Mine is: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Or, Bless the Lord O my soul, and all that is within me_ it works instantly.

The Holy Spirit started singing a song to me once: I walk the Line, by Johnny Cash. It was so sweet I would cry. I sang with Him! One day I said exactly what was in my heart and mouth: BECAUSE YOURE MINE_I WALK THE LINE.

He loves us!! He will show Jesus to you in ways you never imagined possible. I tried to throw a gum wrapper out the windowand I felt Him cringe. Now I have a litter bag in my car. :)

Read 1,2,3 John. There's alot of info in there to help us stop before "something FLIES". When you know He's hanging with YOU, it is joy to the 10th power.

Ask the Lord for some new friends. And hey! Everyone in here is your friend. We're all a work in progress.

    Albert,

Jesus says don't be as the hypocrites, that they may be seen of men. They have their reward because they like to stand out in the corners and make long prayers so that people will see them.

That doesn't mean you can't pray in public or that you can't pray long prayers. It is the motive behind it. Their motive was to be seen of men. It's the whole "look at me" approach, look how spiritual I am. And that's what Jesus said they were doing. They were looking for the praise of men for what they were doing. Jesus says we are not to do that. That should never be our motive. The things we do, we do for the Lord, and He will reward us later. If we do things to be seen of men, we receive our reward from men.

When Jesus says "They have their reward," what He is saying is that they are receiving their reward right then and there. Their reward was getting praise from men.

Anything we do, even if we are "doing it for the Lord," and our motive for doing so is to be seen of men so that they will give us praise, our reward will be here on the earth, and the Lord will not reward us for that later.
