Christians get baptized in water as a testimony of being born again. Those who believe God with all their being will be saved by God whether they get baptized in water or not.

No. The KJV has it right. For a better look at why God repents when He does, we can look at Jeremiah 18:

6 O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the Lord. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.

    7 At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it;

8 If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.

    9 And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it;

10 If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.

I think the prince of Persia spoken of in the book of Daniel was one of Satan's chief lieutenants in the war in heaven against God and His host.

There may be thousands of false doctrines and misunderstandings of the Bible being pushed by men who gather followers with them to form groups, churches, denominations and so forth.

    Angels don't have sex.

    Matthew 22:30

For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

So in Gen 3:15 when God is talking to the serpent He says, "And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her Seed;." In the concordance the word 'seed' means child. So it is saying the serpent has a child. Then God goes on to tell the woman He is going to "multiply thy conception". I think we all know what conception is. Doesn't God's punishment always fit the crime?

Cain and Abel came of age at the same time in Gen 4:3-4, which speaks to them being born at the same time, fraternal twins, one evil and one good.

The fallen angels came down and had sex with women and had children, why is it "nonsense" that satan did the same with Eve? After all, he is their leader.

Regarding Luke 8:17 I don't know what secret sins you are speaking of, because my understanding is we are forgiven our sins when we sincerely ask for forgiveness, and God knows all, so we have no secrets from him.

Deut 29:29 unfortunately has a bad translation. If you go back to the Hebrew text this should read, "The secret things, even the revealed things [belong] to us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law."

I John 3:12 and John 8:44, well what more can I say about these as they both speak to Cain being of satan.

Dear E. I will pray for your Aunt B. today.

Heavenly Father, bring the Gospel Truth to Aunt B. Prepare her heart to receive it and turn to Jesus in truthful belief. We ask that Aunt B. will begin to read your Word, not the JW bible because we k now that the truth of Your Holy Word is transformative, unlike the JW bible that denies Your Son, Jesus, is God and Man, the Savior of mankind. We ask these things of Y9ou, Father, in the name of Your Son, Jesus. Amen.

Hello Ruth, I will pray for Adel.

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for sending Ruth to Adel to share Your Truth. We ask You today to make Ruth's witness to Adel be profitable to her salvation. We ask that you place in Adel a strong desire to really know and believe Your Truth and that Your Truth will override her error in belief about Your Son, Jesus and the salvation He procured for those who believe the truth of the Gospel. Have mercy on Adel today and bring her to You through Your grace and the work of your Holy Spirit. Father, we ask these things of you in the name of Your So, Jesus. Amen.

Hi Giannis. I think that as we walk with the Spirit, the way He chooses to empower, gift, and manifest in and through us becomes apparent either to us or others who 'name' it for us. Over the years, I have experienced the Spirit work through me in such a variety of 'gifts' I cannot say that I have just one or two or three 'gifts'. What I know that I do have is a willing and submitted spirit to God and His work in and through me.

It is so good to converse with you, too.

Thanks Bro Dan, haven't heard from you for a while. Glad you are back, too. I can type two-handed today, but it is "hunt and peck" still. Feels weird to type this way, so used to typing the "secretarial way", fingers on 'home' keys".

Thank you for your prayers. Actually, I am feeling better than I thought I'd feel. Today, the itching under my bandage is worse than the pain. So, time for Benadryl.

I was just doing some research about angels/humans. Do angels have souls? Are angels created in the image and likeness of God?

    Interesting reads.

    have a good day.

Thanks Giannis, In reading your explanation, I don't think we are far apart on our thinking. I understand that flesh and blood cannot enter the kingdom of heaven. And we do not know if Jesus' fleshly body was change after He ascended. But I do believe that He has a body fit for heaven, as we will have in the resurrection. One that is immortal and incorruptible. My point i in my post is that

    1) Jesus resurrected in a physical body that could be touched. it was not a spirit. And His body could eat.

    2) Our redemption includes ALL of what makes us human. We have a body, soul, and spirit. 1 Cor. 15:44 says "it is sown a natural (flesh and blood) body, and it is raised a spiritual body." The natural body is subject to mortality, corruption, sickness, decay. But our heavenly body will not have these aspect. But, we will still have a recognizable body. not be disembodied souls or spirits

    Dear Gigi

I would also like to commend about whether the descriptions in the Gospel for hell and fire are true or metaphores.

There is a dispute betwwen christians about whether the discriptions in the Gospel about hell have metaphorical or litteral meaning. That is, whether hell is a real fire or whether the abscence of God from people will cause pain in the soul.

Lets go to Luke 16:19-31. Jesus talks about the rich man and poor Lazarus. This story takes place in the times of the Old testament. The rich man and Lazarus are in Hell (although the greek text says Ades instead of hell which is a different thing). Do they have bodies? No, they are souls because ressurection hasn't happen yet. So how come the rich man suffers in a real fire? How come he feels thisty? When the rich man calls for Abraham's help he says that he is tormented in this flame (verse 24). But the Greek text uses the word 'odynomai" for tormented which actually tends to mean psycological pain than material pain.

Now which theory is true? As far as i am concerned i am not sure which one is right, i have both in mind till with the help of God i have a better understanding.

    Dear Gigi

You are right about Jesus Christ when He showd Himself to the apostles after His ressurection and said that He is not a spirit for a spirit does not have flesh and bones like He did ( Luke 24:39) But what Jesus probably meant?

Lets leave that for now and go to 1 Corinthians 15:35-54. Pay attention to all verses written especially to verses 44,45,46,50. Here apostle Paul talks about our ressurection. In verse 50 he says {Now this I say, brethren, that FLESS AND BLOOD cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption}. I think we can agree that he talks about us ressurecting in spiritual bodies.

Lord Jesus Christ ressurected as a human being. He took the spiritual body that all christians will aquire when ressurected or tranformed.

So what Jesus probably meant in Luke 24:35? My opinion is that he tried to point out that He was not a spirit. There is a difference between spirit and spiritual boby. A spirit is a spirit like God, angels ... A spiritual body is smt diffrent though. It is still a body but of a diffrent material of a different nature (spiritual). I can not say any more because anything else would be a guess and gusses sometimes are wrong. Paul in to 1 Corinthians 12:12 says in simple words that we have a lack in knowledge about the celestial world.

    Isaiah 11:7-9

"And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea"

    Dear GiGi

No offence meant but please have a look in 1 Corinthians 12:31, also chapter 14 especially 1 Corinthians 14:1.

If we dont seek and get specific spiritual gifts how is the Spirit of God going to work in a christian congregation? Chapter 14 is an example of the usufulness of spiritual gifts in a church. Of course the Holly Spirit at the end will give us what is fit for us but still we must seek the best gifts since you dont know what is proper for us. My hope is to be like the ancient church described in the Acts.

    GBU. I like your posts.

    Dear Jaeny

Your story is very encouraging. You remind me of that widow that gave that little she had to God, but it was everything she had. Jesus talked to His desciples about her. God in His Gospels mentions only her, and her story went through millennia till nowdays read and admired by bilions of people, although for sure there would have been many other people that offered huge sums but they were never mentioned in the Gospel. So don't be sad that you can't offer more.

God bless you and for sure a big wage waits for you in Heaven.
