    S.Spencer,

    I feel the same as you. Don't seek after a particular "gift", but seek the Lord and desire to be used of Him in whatever way the Spirit leads me to do, say, or refrain from doing or saying. We walk by the Spirit of God who lives in us, to do all for the glory of God and benefit to our fellow men and women. We take care of ourselves in order that we can be ready and fit for service.

    Hello, FREE

    Yes Jesus was conceived in Mary as a human baby. The humanity of Jesus had a beginning, but the divinity of Jesus (God the Son) never had a beginning.

    John 1:1-4 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was Go. He was in the beginning with God. all things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men." (NIV)

    john 5:26 "For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself." (NIV)

    John 11:25 "I am the Resurrection and the Life." (NIV)

    What I was saying was that The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are all equally eternal, without beginning, and that Life is who they are which makes them self-existent, not having acquired life from anything outside of themselves. Jesus is eternally God the Son Who took upon Himself an additional nature to His divine nature, that is human nature. In Jesus is these two natures in one Person. His human nature had a beginning, but His divine nature existed eternally.

    Thank you for asking for clarification.

    Be of good cheer Mary, God hears your prayers. Pray out loud and ask God to forgive your sins and accept Jesus as your Lord and savior in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen and amen.
  • Emery Simien - In Reply on Isaiah 1 - 2 years ago
    Hello Isaiah, I believe that you already believe in God and what you are asking for is faith. God tells us that faith comes by reading his words in the Bible so that you can relate those things to your own life. You will begin to realize that he blesses you in your search for him. Pray and ask for forgiveness of your sins and receive our Lord Jesus as your savior who died on the cross for your sins. Go into your private place and pray this out loud, and the holy spirit will come to you and you will be different. Lord God I pray that you would receive Isaiah, this little one who seeks your face and send him thou Holy Spirit that may guide him to you. In the holy name of our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen and amen.

    Dear "Tarus", From childhood i have been ill and had a lot of problems, with various diseases. As i grew older, i became distressed and thanked YES to Jesus Christ. We witness the Lord Jesus Christ to experience that we are transformed.

    2 Corintians 5:17

    Be brave and strong, Joshua 1:9 and that's how it will be. You understand that something good can come out of all the misery. The most important thing for a human being to be saved!

    God wants everyone to be saved and come to the knowledge of truth. 1 Timothy 2:1-4 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

    2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

    3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

    4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

    It can often seem unfair, but it is man who is unfair. God is not Unjust, and He is not tempted by any evil. The unrighteous comes from the wickedness of man in a world full of hatred. James 1:13

    Even the Word of God can cause pain if you do not live right with the Lord. For there have come days when we cannot bear to hear the right doctrine.

    Romans 2:7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

    8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,

    9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

    2 Timothy 4:1.8

    God bless us all when He want, Jesus loves u i in Christ.

    Dear "Greg Avina", in peace i'm glad that such worship does not exist, we may wonder. But it will be a bit like the devil: exalt oneself, worship oneself, and so on. But personally i thank God a lot in the Name of Jesus and in the kingdom of the Holy Spirit

    Dear "James Hartle" All children are under the protection of God. Matthew 19:13-15 Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.

    14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

    15 And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence.

    Be glad in Jesus, love u in Christ.

    I love what you wrote , my issue is wirh good deeds , acting out my faith , I'm disabled , my neighbours are fitter than I, I am alone in this life, physically with a family who have no time literally and figuratively for me, i have no kids , I can't serve the Lord I love so much , it makes me weep daily , I try and leave encouraging messages and Scripture online , YouTube, FB , Twitter , its the only way of connecting with folk been years since I could go to church I wasted my good years in backsliden sin, now I may physically be useless but I love God , its not easy , no matter who tells you what , no one has been in your shoes or can understand what you are going through but Jesus himself , cast off your cares to Him and pray your heart out , for its our hearts He looks at and deeds that where done not for Him but to gain anything will be burnt up , so even typing this fact has cheered me up, knowing only what was done from a pure heart for Jesus because He changed us and gave us a new heart , will remain and our reards will be based on those deeds , so rather than focus on yourself, you are forgiven you are worthy, focus on Him and even the fact you can breathe, you woke up this morning , thank Him for , and gratitude will help you , take your focus off yourself and into God , its taken this typing to bring me round today for I was upset and struggling, but I now realise it was satan the accusor , the deceiver the liar , don't let him steal the Love you have for Jesus or yourself

    Dear "Somefair", see that you have received many nice answers, i hope u have not been confused. Many also think differently.

    Jesus was without sin but in a human body, BORN of a woman with flesh, muscles and bones. At least it's safe! He ate and then everything will come out naturally, right. Our Savior was and walked the earth like us! But after His death, Mary recognized His tone/soul;

    John 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

    What was His intention with that? And say do not touch Me. Clearly He understood that she would then have been completely confused. For others there they did not recognize Him, but she did. There was nothing to feel. He was a Spirit!

    He really had a lot to do in those 40 days he was in this spirit world. He freed the prisoners who had gone before.

    For afterwards, when the disciples had not yet received the Holy Spirit, they did not know Him either. They did not even dare to ask Him if He was the Lord! So in the last chapter of John we read about this. So here on Earth, Jesus was before the Son of Man, then He became Spirit. Then at Pentecost He give away the Holy Spirit. So we must not think that we will no longer have a body that needs food and the necessity of emptying afterwards. All the food we then get is from Jesus.

    So then we may see the Face of God. But in Earth life we can not. Then we must die. God knows how to hide. Now we are hidden in Jesus Christ.

    Hope to see you all a in a different form, and that we can recognize each other in the special way a soul has. God bless us in Jesus Name, love u in Christ.

    I'm certain that the Holy God of my understanding, since the very day I was given my first breath of air, doesn't by any means celebrate death. Actually, if given the seal of life you do not die but remain with the 12 holy chosen tribes with 120 thousand saints in each tribe granted to be in or on the Holy Mt Zion with The Holy One of Israel. If your education on the holy scriptures was on point than you would know death is the last demon to defeat.

    What it means to be in Christ Jesus is to be baptized in the (name) of Jesus, this how we take part in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. after that we receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. this is the beginning of the true church as written in the book of Acts 2:38. there is no other way to be in Christ Jesus. you can't get there any other way. You can't say a sinners prayer, or accept Jesus into your heart, or just confess his name, There is NO Scripture for that anywhere in the Bible. John 10:1Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. Jesus said in John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. Jesus gave Peter the (key) to the door, in Acts 2:38. IT Is the Only way. and to this I say, 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

    Who is familiar with the Book of Enoch and what is your understanding of this book?
  • Daniel Lindenbaum - In Reply - 2 years ago
    Agreed with brother Marke here.

    God had really only designated souls (Earthbound) to mankind. Now, does that mean animals should be treated without care or less? By no means.

    Proverbs 12:10 - A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.

    Proverbs 27:23 - Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, and look well to thy herds.

    Knowing there is also no mention of a heaven for animals the same. The best you can do (especially if they're your pets) is to treat them with love and care as this is the only side of the grave they were created for. There's something particularly sweet about those who have mercy for God's creation.

    Thank you for this very relevant message Kay and GiGi.

    These are the verses I would recommend to someone who is curious about what the Bible says about any substance abuse (over-eating, alcohol, drug addition, lusts of the flesh, etc). It's a bondage and as much as it leads to a spiritual death...it most certainly can/will lead to a much more abrupt physical death.

    Romans 6:16

    "Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?"

    If our members be yielded to substance...which route will it lead to: death or of obedience unto righteousness? There is nonsuch righteous in smoking but only an eventual death as we destroy the temple which God has given to us.

    Not to sound hypocritical either...some years back I was given into smoking (not cigarettes but something far worse). That which I did affected not only my spiritual body but the Spiritual. I sincerely believe that God's going to judge me swiftly for these things too. I fear God and I know that will be a day of shame for me. But, I had a choice not to do it and I disobeyed. You too have a choice and there's always time to quit. Place 100% of yourself in Christ Jesus and His Word. There is no cure great than Jesus Christ and His Golden Gospel.

    2 questions: I know now God through Jesus Christ is a loving and forgiven. I know now that having an obortion many years ago was wrong. However, the Word say, You shall not kill. Will I be forgiven?

    I was told years ago God wants to heal me from my hurt. I could think of anything even the sins I had already commites. Just this year it can to pass what hurt He spoke about. My grandmother die and my biological mother lived in a very violent world. I was so angry with God and hurt. Is it possible His has forgiven me for rebelling all those years ago? He has been extemely good to me and I am happy with Him. Amen!

    Dear Matthew, never stop praying and waiting upon the Lord to answer, for He will answer. It may not be what you expect, be He always answers.

    Isaiah 40:31 - But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

    Psalms 130:5 - 127:6 - I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. (Read More...)

    Psalms 37:7 - Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

    Ms. Jackson, pray for God to increase your faith. Faith is what sets our heart at one with God so we can believe his promises and live for him. Faith give access into grace ( Romans 5:2). We receive the Holy Spirit by the hearing of faith ( Galatians 3:2). Faith is the victory that overcomes the world ( 1 John 5:4). When reading the Bible ask yourself if you really belief what it says. Hebrews 11:6 "But with out faith it is impossible to please God: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him". Faith precedes grace, the Holy Spirit, imputes righteousness and gives victory. Faith the size of a mustard seed will remove mountains ( Matthew 17:20). Hebrews 11 has good examples of faith and the effects of it.

    Marke i agree but the book of Ecclesiates is a different book and truly inspired of God....I love Ecc. 11 : 5 As thou knowest not what is the way of the Spirit, Nor how the bones do grow in the womb of she that is with CHILD, Even so thou knowest not the works of God who makest ALL

    ..... Gal. 4 : 19 KJV...My lil children of whom i travail in Birth till CHRIST IS FORMED IN YOU...And the mystery of the Kingdom of God is Christ in you...Unless you receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child you will in NO wise enter there in....In my mind Ecclesiates 11 : 5 is a picture of the new Birth....Christ is gonna be formed in us which is the H.G. that Child of Promise...Thats y he has to know us thats when that good seed is sown in our hearts initiating a birth of Christ in us...the H.G.

    .....Thats y Peter is saying being Bornagain of an incorruptible seed even by the WORDS OF GOD that liveth and abideth for ever...Meaning the living words....Its that living word that forms Christ in us....Which is spirit and life the H.G. as that which is born of the spirit is spirit which is our new innerman the H.G. that Child of Promise.

    ....Whosoever receiveth one such CHILD in my NAME receiveth ME....In that this heavenly Child comes in HIS NAME implies he is the Father of these Children....The babes and sucklings he mentions are his Children which are Spirits the H.G. that are gonna be formed in us via his good seed the word....And in that they are the Children of PROMISE they are gonna be as the Stars of HEAVEN IN MULTITUDE....God Almighty swore by Himself when he made that Promise.

    ....But this Ecclesiaticus Book is a different book which is in the Catholic bible that i know nothin about.

    Where in the scriptures do we have any command to worship the Holy Spirit? I can find no example of anyone praying to,glorifying,or singing to the Holy Ghost. I'm open to correction,just point me to scriptures that would teach saints to do this.

    The Bible does not say much specifically about smoking cigarettes, although it does deal with good pursuits and bad habits. However, smoke is an irritant and God does not encourage people to fill their lungs with irritants.

    Proverbs 10:26

    As vinegar to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to them that send him.
