    Romans 5:13

Sin is not imputed where there is no law.

    Romans 5:13

(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

    What does that tell us?

    1. That nobody goes to hell for Adam's sin.

    2. Salvation is not given to sinners for keeping the law.

Revelation Station videos/movie. They chopped the movie into many videos (too long?). Just click on the black boxes that pop up when a video ends. It's about the end times, the Rapture, Tribulation period, and a short view of the Millennium which is hard to find now.

It's Bible/entertainment/sci-fi style. It gives you a reason to evangelize your friends and family.

If you're hung up on Pre, Mid, Post Tribulation__you may not like it. View it with your Bible nearby.

I met her, and she's funny and dead on serious. I like that. Iverna Tompkins. She's a speaker not really a pastor. She teaches prophetically and focuses on Christian maturity. She serves up MEAT, not milk.

Another of Ivernas associates named Dr Fuchsia Pickett, is a real spiritual heavyweight. You cannot deny the Anointing on them. I get so excited and stoked on God! Some might ask-why are you listening to women preachers? I crave the meat of the Word. I can't live on pizza. I want a big slab of Bible brisket. Google: Gabriel Heights

Charles Capps. He opens up the foggy parts of scripture that are easily missed. Pick, The Authority of the Believer. My prayer life got serious on his teaching videos. I met him too; he lived in Texas.

Lastly, the best teaching on the Book of Revelation is taught by Oral Roberts (in my opinion). I listen to it when I'm cooking or cleaning. I know he's the butt of jokes by people who never knew him. He had a dream to build a college for people to study Bible too. I chose to know him myself and not listen to jokes and gossip on the radio in Tulsa. I lived there 3 years. Listen to it on YouTube. Tell me your thoughts.

Listen to the music ministry of Joshua Aaron. Catch the joy of a Jew who has returned to Israel. We need to experience that joy and brand new love of Jesus as his Lord and Messiah.

  • Fulfilled Prophesy Charts - In Reply - 2 years ago
I found these amazing charts on Google, like 359 Old Testament prophesies: prophesied scripture with the scripture of when it was fulfilled.

Also there are prophesies of Jesus. And the scriptures when he alone fulfilled each one.

I'm sure you can find them with some determined googling. Some Bibles have those charts.

One prophesy was of Judas Iscariot in Psalms; that he would betray Jesus. Jesus knew that about Judas. "My familiar friend"

A lot of scripture that seems mysterious to us, may be tied to a fulfilled prophesy. It will really boost your faith in God, and give it wings. Your trust level goes from a 3 to 10+

Jesus made a distinction between sins that will be forgiven and the sin that will never be forgiven in Mark 3.

28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:

29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation.

Even some blasphemy shall be forgiven but there is a blasphemy that shall never be forgiven. It is very important to understand the difference. Jesus actually paid for the sins of the whole world on the cross, with the exception of the sin here referred to as blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

One key detail we should note about the "unpardonable sin" is that it is not a sin of ignorance. Nobody can commit the unpardonable sin in ignorance. Nicodemus had already testified of the Pharisees that they knew Jesus was of God because of the miracles he did ( John 3:2) but the Pharisees here accused Jesus of performing miracles by the power of the devil.

What was the real crime here that was so serious as to seal a person's doom in hell? It was the crime of lying against the known truth of God revealing a hateful rejection of the Holy Spirit's message to their hearts that Jesus is God and that sinners must come to Him for forgiveness and salvation. When the Holy Spirit enlightens a sinner if that sinner rejects the light he stands near the dropping off point into hell reserved for all who hatefully reject Jesus because of their love for sin.

    Numbers 15:27-31.

This passage brings light on the difference between sins that can be forgiven and sins that will never be forgiven.

27 And if any soul sin through ignorance, then he shall bring a she goat of the first year for a sin offering.

28 And the priest shall make an atonement for the soul that sinneth ignorantly, when he sinneth by ignorance before the Lord, to make an atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him.

29 Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them.

30 But the soul that doeth ought presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth the Lord; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

31 Because he hath despised the word of the Lord, and hath broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him.

The two main divisions of sins are

    1. Sins of ignorance - can be forgiven

    2. Presumptuous sins - will not be forgiven

But the terms "sins of ignorance" and "presumptuous sins" must be carefully interpreted so as to not yield a wrong doctrine.

Grace is given without expecting anything in return.

WORKS is something done in return for payment or wages.

    Example: sin's wages are death

BUT THE GIFT of the Grace of God is forgiveness.

I sure have met a lot of people that don't believe there are wages for sin.

I watched this new video on Hurricane Andrew. This woman's house was rubble. Rather than be happy her husband and children survived-she wailed and railed on God for destroying her house! It was rant.

I just bowed my head because it hurt my heart when we blame God for all losses. But we barely give thanks for blessings.

Grace, un-merited favor, deserves our praise.

My son was a feisty little guy and smart too. He tried to get around the rules. That's normal. I had a system called "felonies and misdemeanors".

There was 2 felonies: lying and scaring your parent to death. Those were serious consequences and happened immediately. Non-violent spanking on the rear."

We read the Proverbs that said being a lax parent is as bad as a child acting up or out.

I never hit him with a weapon "iron rod". I did it with righteousness. THE WORD. He knew it was Gods way of correction. ( He does this today with his son.) I cured him of 99% lies, by saying IF YOU CONFESS IT, I will forgive you. I will back you 100% if you tell the truth no matter how bad it makes you look, or me or anyone. We will figure out repercussions together and agree on acceptable punishment.

He grew up learning how to respect Truthfulness.

He stretched it to the limit in his teens. I told him I would never search his room without his presence. My intent was we would fully grow up together exploring the joy of truthful living. Life is full of good compromise.

Nowadays, we need more of that kind of wisdom. Don't yell, don't beat, incarcerate (they love being confined to their room with video games, internet and phone). Think outside the social media box. "Enroll" kids into Life Skills 101: reading cookbooks, cooking food, family laundry and folding done right, car maintenance, lawn sculpting, and check-book balancing. You gotta teach it, because schools DONT. You teach Sex Ed from Lev.26 and Deuteronomy 28. Stuff they teach now is demonic.

I loved my sons teen years! We started off rough but he got hooked on what is Gods Truth. He didn't follow the crowd. He learned to lead. Print this out and paste it in your Bible on the front inside cover, for your kids.

Look at nature. Really look. God loves Colors. CRT is not of the Bible. You must not dabble in demonically inspired theories. THEORY IS UNPROVEN "FACT".

My dear, that was right. Just have to add that we get nothing if we do not get it from God. I do not think it is entirely right to say that a human being should / must be born again.

How is a human being to be born again?

What / who is the Holy Spirit?

What has determined that all of God's Gift is Good?

Be blessed in Jesus Name. Luke 9.

Dear "Kimberly M Lindsey" It is One God and Jesus is One, and the Holy Spirit is one. But perhaps you are referring to the fact that when Jesus was on earth, the Holy Spirit was with Jesus and no one else at that time. U may remember that the disciples had to wait until Pentecost came.

Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Examle in John12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. Jesus is talking about Himself.

Be glad and blessed in His name Jesus, love u in Christ.

I truly enjoyed your post and the response(s) that it has gathered. These discussions allow each of us to not only review our personal beliefs but to also spur us to dig further into the word for knowledge and understanding. Discernment and validation.

I don't specifically know where I go when I leave the flesh but I know that I would prefer the best possible place! Some, paradise.

Look forward to reading more of your posts Phillip.

Hi dear "Lindachitty, maybe it's about laziness, and apologies, it's not true faith. Faith is a gift we have received. If we are to believe without works. Becomes Grace easy. No apostles had it easy!

Let's say we get a nice gift from our parents. A brand new BMW. But since we expect it to run by itself, it will be left in the garage instead. It is a faith without works.

Thus faith becomes without power. God's kingdom is staggering and the car will not start because the hand will not turn the key.

Just a few thoughts in the early morning hours. Sends with greetings from Luke 9:57-62

Stay blessed in His Name Jesus, love u in Christ.

    Hi frank.

I would like to add one parallel verse to my comment.

Ezekiel 36:26-27. "A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them."

    God bless.

    Hi frank.

What I find significant in these passages is John 4:23-24. "But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."

    He's giving something new.

    Something they haven't experienced.

The gift of the Holyspirit working in them.

Notice a previous verse. John 4:10. "Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the GIFT OF GOD, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee LIVING WATER."

    God bless.

    Hi Kenaket.

There's something I believe we have often missed is a passage in the book of Hebrews concerning Christ ministry and that is his priesthood had no beginning or ending.

Note what John the baptist has to say here in John 1:29. The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

The old testament had rituals and services amongst many other things that pointed to the Lord Jesus Christ. You see this throughout the book of Hebrews.

God spoke to them in many ways. Hosea 12:10.

We look back at the cross, they looked ahead at the cross.

Here's Jesus in John 5:39. "Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me."

Hebrews 10:5-10. Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:

In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.

Then said I, Lo, I come (IN THE VOLUME OF THE BOOK IT IS WRITTEN OF ME,) to do thy will, O God.

    Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;

Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.

By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

( Jesus is referring to old testament scripture )

    1 Peter 1:18-20. Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

WHO VERILY WAS FOREORDAINED BEFORE THE FOUNDATIONS OF THE WORLD,...( BUT WAS MANIFEST IN THESE LAST TIMES FOR YOU,...)

    I hope this helps.

    God bless.
