Gi Gi Gbu but you do greatly err...Jesus himself was the multiplication of God..Thats y God Almighty instructs all the angels to worship his Son...I will make him my 1st born, My only son...Jesus was an absolute Son, God the son... Hebrews 1 : 8 but unto the Son he says Thy Throne O God is forever and ever...But Jesus has a seed to sow in humanity which is his WORD as the great Promise is Multiplication of God...Remember God swore by his very self that Christ was gonna be multiplied as the stars of Heaven, Thats y the sower has to go forth and sow his precious seed in humanity...That we might birth a baby Christ...Thats y Jesus said behold i send the PROMISE OF MY FATHER UPON YOU...Which resulted in a 3 rd person the H.G. that Child of PROMISE...Which was the multiplication of Christ/God...Being bornagain of an incorruptible Seed IS GESTATION.

.....Jesus cd not refer to the H.G. as the PROMISE if he were not the multiplication of very God....Thats y he is saying to whom the WORD HIS SEED came it made them Gods...But these things are hid from the wise and Prudent but revealed unto Babes and sucklings...His offspring It has to come by divine revelation...Thats y Jesus always refered to himself as the SON OF MAN...Mankind is gonna birth a baby Christ...As Paul said we must be Married to Christ and bring forth fruit unto God...Which is the wheat a baby Christ simply b/c the sower of that GOOD SEED is the Bridegroom...He cd not refer to himself as the Bridegroom if he didn't want to multiply himself with his seed/Word...He wants to do his Fathers will which is to multiply very God with his good seed the words the contents of that book, that he wrote with his own blood..That New Covenant....Remember Gi Gi he has to know us, that when that good seed is gonna be sown in our hearts...Thus there has to be gestation in the spritual realm...As that which is born of the spirit is spirit the H.G...Emanuel God with us. Isaiah 58-13:If thou turn away they foot from the sabbath, from doing th pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight the holy of the LORD honorable; ; and shalt honor him, not doing thine own ways , nor finding thein own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:

I was raised to honor Sunday's as the day of worshiping the Lord as the Sabbath. Some church's uses Saturday as the Sabbath does it matter as long as you believe that Jesus died and rose again and that he is the Son of God.

Strong's concordance suggests the Hebrew word translated "crop" in Leviticus 1 means "Conspicuousness" or "prominence." The word "feathers" in Lev. 1 suggests "plumage" and the same word is translated in Ezekiel 17 as "feathers" and in Job 39 as "ostrich."

Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich?

These associations with the words "crop" and "feathers" in other passages lead me to believe the "glory" of the birds was removed and cast aside before the bird was burnt as an offering.

To draw an application, before Christians can offer their bodies an acceptable sacrifice to God their own "glory" must be discarded.

Romans 12:1

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Psalm 51:17

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

I believe there is a very important NT lesson and application of Deuteronomy 25:4, that is brought out in two passages in the NT.

Deuteronomy 25:4

Thou shalt not muzzle the ox when he treadeth out the corn.

1 Corinthians 9

9 For it is written in the law of Moses, thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen?

10 Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope.

17 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.

Strong's Concordance gives a proposed definition for the Hebrew word as a 'perversity' or 'fraud.' The Hebrew word translated "frowardness" in Proverbs 10 is also translated "perverse things" in Proverbs 23.

Proverbs 23:33

Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things.

A Christian is not directed by God to follow OT laws and ordinances but is directed by God to honor the spirit and intent of laws that reveal aspects of God's will for our lives today. The NT records the word "sabbath" in the Gospels and in Acts, but is only mentioned once after the Book of Acts, and does not give the impression God wants us to "keep the sabbath holy" as He did in the OT.

When Jesus came He came to the Jews, and the Gospels and Acts are records of His ministry to Jews. The epistles that followed the Book of Acts are not directed to the Jews so much as they are intended for the Church.

As far as I'm concerned , we r all reading the same Bible and none of us knows anything that can't b known by anyone else . I read things on here that I don't agree with but I don't say anything , we r all on learning curve , none of us knows everything there is to know about the Bible . I going to b honest though I don't wish to offend u or anyone else , I'm over sensitive when it come to feeling that some one is being singled out and picked on . I'm not accusing u or anyone and people can pick on me all day and it will wash right over me . However , i get very protective over others . One whiff of some one being made to feel unwelcome or singled out for negative attention and my hackles go up . Over a couple of years I've read everyone on here and found out who I gel with and who I don't . I read the ones I like and ignore the ones I don't . It saves me a lot of stress that's for sure . Hello Herbert. The whole book of Micah contains God's Message, primarily to Judah, but also concerning Israel. Was there something in particular that you were thinking of? I can give you a brief breakdown of the Book, as you go through it yourself.

1. Micah 1:1. The following prophecy that God gave to Micah.

2. Micah 1:2-2:13. God's Message of destruction for Samaria & Judah.

3. Micah 3:1-5:15. Message of coming judgements on the rulers, false prophets, & on Jerusalem (3:1-12). Of deliverance (in the coming Kingdom): 4:1-5:1. This deliverance by the coming King, both in His first & second comings (5:2-15).

4. Micah 6:1-7:10. God's two Messages of Denunciation & Israel's two replies to God.

5. Micah 7:11-20. Blessings for Israel.

Keeping those general headings in mind, you may find that re-reading the Book will help you to see the various messages that God had for Judah & Israel by his prophet Micah.

Hi Johnny. Just to add to Rod's great list, & the chapter in the middle of his Matthew references; I would refer you to Jesus' parable about the Kingdom of Heaven in Matthew 25:1-13. That His Kingdom compose those who are ready & eagerly awaiting their Lord's return. They knew the 'bridegroom' was coming, some were ready, others were not.

Today, there are some 'Christians' who don't take their faith seriously & may even have one foot in the world, hoping that there will still be time ahead to set things right before the Lord. But no one can know the day of their death or the day of the Lord's Return; readiness & holy living are hallmarks of the child most beloved of the Lord. And when Jesus comes for us, "we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming" ( 1 John 2:28).

Hello Kay. Just in connection with Romans 8:20-22, the Greek word used is the same in all three instances, viz. 'ktisis', & this refers to 'creation'. Where 'creature' is written, parts of the creation are intended, which parts include all living creatures, flora, & anything else that has been affected by the fall & general corruption because of it.

All of creation awaits that glorious day of resurrection of the saints & the installation of Christ's Rule on the Earth; a time when Satan will be bound, sin will not abound, & all creation will have respite as Christ's Presence & Glory instigates much worldwide renewal. Though my understanding is that all will not be fully realized until the entrance of the new heavens & earth when all things will be manifest as per God's original Plan.

And I would agree with Rose; I don't believe that anything other than mankind are redeemable as God's creation of man is totally unique in every way, spirit, soul & body. Of the 'horses' we see in the Revelation, I understand that to be graphic imagery given to John (as in the beasts that rise out of the sea & earth), & do not depict actual animals or that there are stables & fields in Heaven. John was given much vision & information that would be too difficult to understand & relate, unless such 'pictures' were given him, but of course, these images were to clearly relate to their tasks & ensuing events. Of course, many will have their opinions from the reading of these passages, which makes no particular interpretation certain.

Christ Jesus tells us to die daily to our sin. I would encourage you to remove everything that you can that temps you. I would also encourage you to pray and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ that his blood may cover you. When the things of this world mean more than Christ Jesus than the love of Jesus isn't in us. It's very simple once we are down on our knees and we pray to God and say God this is who I used to be change my heart of God to what you oh God want me to be.. God changes us for the better.
