Dear Victoria, I have prayed for your request here since I first read it last week. I am so sorry for the loss of your grandson and for the trauma you are suffering from witnessing his death in your presence. I will pray again for you today.

Dear Lord Jesus,

Today we lift up Victoria and the family members involved in this tragedy. Bring healing to each family member and resolve the conflict between these families. Thank you for the care Victoria gave her grandson throughout his life. Bless her for her service. We pray for each member of these families to draw near to You during this time. We know that You will draw near to all who seek You, so cause this seeking in the hearts of each family member. May your grace and mercy flow to each one and may Your Holy Spirit create faith and love in their hearts. Instead of having this tragic death of this young man dividing these families, Lord, use this sorrow to bring about repentance and mending of relationships. We ask this in Your name Jesus. Amen

Thank you for being faithful in prayer in for others in this section of this forum. I have been absent from posting for a week, but have read and prayed for prayer requests as they have come up on this section. I felt that God wanted me to take a week break from posting. So I have obeyed that prompting. I have been working on a project in the yard since we have had good weather, and I have been doing some online research about some ideas I have read on here to better understand the viewpoints promulgate on this site. Hoping that this research will help me when the Spirit prompts me to respond to posts as I always want to respond with wisdom and love.

I was hospitalized a few weeks ago for a T.I.A. I am thankful that there was no apparent clot visible nor any damage. I had 2 CT scans, an MRI, and an echocardiogram. I went to the Doctor yesterday to go over my hospital visit and a plan for moving forward. During this visit I was informed that the MRI incidentally revealed a nodule on my thyroid and I needed to have an ultrasound for my thyroid. I had that done last evening. I am waiting for the results on that. So, please pray for a good result for this condition. Thank you.

I misspoke and said verse 20 instead of verse 22. I had always seen the idea of preparation and waiting in verse 20 before, but I hadn't see it in verse 22 until our discussion.

In these exceptionally trying times, I ask that we pray for our world, that God will show all his light.

My results came back confusing. I will be having a CT scan and another test in a few weeks. I know that God has everything happen for a reason. God is good always, in both the good and bad times! Thank you for the prayers I received.

For me personally, laying out the parallelism as I have is actually what allowed me to see aspects of Verse 20 as a period of preparation and waiting and also prior to that I myself overlooked Psalm 110:1 and it's importance as a possible source of comfort.

I know you continue to say inverse parallelism is not necessary to understand the verse, and it may not be for people like yourself. But the things I wrote about regarding Psalm 110:1 did not come from anything you wrote about the verse and the importance of that reference never occurred to me prior to laying the verse out as I had. I doubt I would ever have been able to see or express those ideas as clearly or as confidently as I just did without viewing these 4 verses in this way, since I never had before. Additionally, Free's comment suggests that he gained new insights by considering the verse as I had laid it out that he had previously not considered. So from my perspective it has not been unprofitable to view the verses in this light, even if it is not necessary for others like you to do so.

Still I have to also consider that without our discussions on this verse I might have missed the Psalm 110:1 connection as well, since that also inspired me to trace out ideas that were only a vaguely expressed intuition about that aspect of the verse before. So iron continues to sharpen iron, and brothers coming at a verse from different perspectives can lead to a greater shared understanding through a respectful discussion, even if both continue to differ in their approaches. That is comforting to me as well.

So I have no problem with you continuing to say chiasmus is unnecessary for these verses, since we are agreed that Peter's teaching on baptism are a great source of comfort for suffering Christians, both in its internal comfort with regard to their consciences and the assurance it brings that the external forces opposing them can be endured with a certain hope for the future that they will prevail.

Prayer for God's grace, mercy, blessings, favor, deliverance, healing, protection, guidance, anointing, Gods salvation, hedge of protection, job, home, to be debt, peace, love joy and happiness. Lord Jesus we thank You for being with us as we join in prayer for Donna's sister.

May the powerful healing from our Lord Jesus Christ work to free Donna's sister from all sickness, all cancer, every infirmity in her flesh. By the stripes on His back, we are healed.

Matthew 18:18-20 says:

(18) Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth

(19) Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

(20) For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

We agree on earth in prayer and bind every cancer cell in Donna's body, in Your holy and blessed name, Lord Jesus. We also lift these prayers for every other person who may be experiencing this infirmity. The victory and the glory is Yours always Lord Jesus. Romans 8:28 says that 'all things work together for good to them that love God', and we thank You for this promise.

Please strengthen, encourage and comfort Donna and her family at this time, and every person in the earth that is facing this trial. Please allow them to witness Your powerful work in their lives during this difficult season. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Actually Jesus was fulfilling prophecy , not quoting psalm 22 .

Good on finding psalm 22 it applies.

Then u have not submitted fully to God's Will for u . When we say : Thy Will be done , we have to mean it . Jesus was sinless . The Jewish leaders had no cause to kill him but they bent and twisted their law in order to kill him . Jesus didn't have to let them do that . He had power on earth to do anything that he wanted to do . He chose to submit to his Father's Will .That's what we as Christians r also supposed to do . It's not always easy for sure . But it's what we r called to .
