But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
It is the mode today to worship the Lord in flesh and error instead of in Spirit and truth!
It is the mode today to inject a lot of fleshly inventions into the worship of God, which appeal to our own tastes, our own souls, our own wants and desires! We like songs that 'produce' a feeling in us! We like flashing lights and smoke and often churches look like rock concerts! Worship is not about us - it is about the Lord!
We have nothing to bring the Lord but sincere hearts, deep praise, manifold thanksgivings, hearty worship, and ceaseless prayer. Those are things to go to God with! :) God bless you!
1. Pray and ask God for wisdom (regularly)
2. Read God's word which is the most popular, profound, and life changing book in history and start with books by Solomon, the wisest man in the world. Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon. So, I think you started in the right place, but there is much wisdom throughout the entire Bible.
A no brainer that Jesus says God and he are two separate persons
I agree with S Spencer and Noel, for those of us who have heard of Jesus and are called and have accepted Jesus as our savior the answer would be no.
I would like to give my understanding; God is a loving God Zephaniah 3:17 God will help and strengthen us Isaiah 41:10 God is just and upright Deuteronomy 32:4 and God is love and merciful Ephesians 2:4.
There are millions of people who lived and died before Jesus first came, and millions who have lived and died since who have never heard who Jesus is and what He offers. What happens to them? Everyone who is alive today and all who have lived in the past has the knowledge of good and evil thanks to the first Adam.
The white throne judgment many teach is only for the lost and unrighteous, my understanding is different. In Revelation 20:11-15 all the rest of the dead is judged, small and great and the books were open, and they were judged from the things written in the books, according to their works. In verse 15 it says this, "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire". Along with other scriptures, my understanding is there were some names in the book of life.
God only knows, some scripture gives a clue, People under the law being judged by the law and those who do by nature the things contained in the law not under the law (judged from the things written in the books) Romans 2:12-15, and if the white throne judgment is for lost only, how do we understand these verses, Daniel 12:2 Matthew 25:32-46 John 5:28-29 Acts 24:14-15.
God bless,

Now my opinion is that Melchisedek is a preincarnate appearance of Christ and that what the author of Hebrew attributes to Melchisedek are derived from Christ's actual preincarnate attributes. The appearance of Melchisedek is nonetheless presented convincingly as a man in the original account, as we should be convinced Christ's preincarnate appearances would not preclude Him from His incarnate appearance which makes Him our sympathetic High Priest.
The alternative interpretation that the author of Hebrews is taking advantage of an absence of information about Melchisedek to build an entire theology of Christ's High Priesthood around undermines his entire case. If you can falsely attribute Christ's attributes to a mere man that meets none of those qualifications to establish that Christ's High Priesthood and the nature of it predates the Levitical Priesthood and the inadequate nature of it, how have you proven anything other than that you may be a liar?
If Melchisedek was in reality just like the Levites that were born, lived and died and his nature in no way actually differed from theirs other than the point in time he arrived, the case made in the Book of Hebrews falls. Without the resurrection, had Christ merely become incarnate at a point in time and died on a cross, the entire Gospel falls.
Anyway that is my view.
There is nothing that God cannot do. All scriptures points to the Salvation through our Lord-and Savior Jesus Christ
Good question, and the answer is no. I will share a few of many scripture that testifies Jesus Christ is the only way.
John 14:6. "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
John 10:7-9. Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.
All that ever came before me are "thieves and robbers:" but the sheep did not hear them.
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
( THE THIEVES AND ROBBERS IS JUDAISM OR ANY OTHER RELIGION. )
Acts 4:10-12. Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Here's what and how we're accepting.
Romans 10:8-10. But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
This is not a mere "Profession". It's a genuine change of heart!
The Holyspirit convicts a sinner of sin drives them to repentance, falling on Christ for mercy.
God bless.
Please consider reflecting on 2 Timothy 2:1.
You are welcome!!
Homer
1John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Romans 8:38,39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Ps. 56:3 Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord
Have you been born again? If not, here is the Way.
"As it is written, 'There is none righteous, no, not one.'" ( Romans 3:10)
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." ( Romans 3:23)
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." ( Romans 6:23)
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." ( Romans 5:8)
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." ( Romans 10:13)
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.- Romans 10:9-13
God bless you!
This is why we say God willing.
And we don't promise either. We just say yes or no and do it. Anything more than that is evil.
Dear Child of God, allow me to give you an example of darkness. So if we as Christians say I am in fellowship with Christ I have picked up my Cross and walk with Christ on the narrow road...??? So you went and Repented and was baptised and you entered the waters of Baptism defiled for you entered the waters with 3 vices out of the 7 vices that you did not remove before entering the waters You still are in darkness.....Or you did remove all 7 vices before entering the waters of Baptism but returned to satans material world for you could not give up the luxurious life style you are used to, well you are in darkness you do Not walk in the light as Christ does...We lie and do not practice the Truth....This is where the churches have deceived many Christians by entering the waters of Baptism defiled......We are not perfect nor can we be for we are in flesh but we can only try each day to be perfect so when our Fathers sees us trying so hard to remove all 7 vices from us then he allows a helping hand. Then you will feel the Light upon your heart full of joy is all you feel....And this is when you will receive the Gifts of the Spirit
.God bless The Grace of our Father God be with you...
