    You have good answer here, i would say "I AM".

    I know a woman who was uplifted in a higher heaven. :) (reminded me of something i read).

    He took this little lady on a trip to the universe! While they moved out there among millions of stars, and different moons and suns. Other solar systems she got an indication of the Lord's Amount of what He says when He says," I Am". Some words Omniscient, All Life, Truth, Essence of Life, The Only, Unique God.

    Actually, there is no one in the human sense who knows what God really is. Because as long as we are on earth, we will be bound to our flesh. But that does not mean that we should not search for the higher insights.

    Luke 12 God bless u and yours and have thru sence in Jesus name, love u in Christ.

    Why do some Christians say, "if God be willing", or "if it be God's will"? Isn't that unbelief or even doubt, and does not the Word of God say that my people perish for lack of not knowing the truth, or having knownlege of the truth.

    Dear Child of God. It is Gods will Not ours. When I go to touch the sick I can only touch the man God has chosen to be healed Why? for the sins of their Fourth Fathers is upon him thats why. God's people perish every day, how many Christians read the Bible and go to church every Sunday and yet no one understands this scripture

    MATT 5:17 Whoever therefore BREAKS ONE of the least of these Commandments and teachers men so shall be called Least in the Kingdom of Heaven.??? Why because you all follow a Man and his understanding of the our Fathers Book the Bible. This is the Lack of Truth, The world has broken the 4th Commandment to keep the Sabbath Holy a day of rest from all labour. Do you keep this day Holy Child. For this day is the SEAL of GOD. This is why it is the WILL of God. The Truth is, read your Bible on your own. For God dose Not dwell in a Temple made my hands ACTS 17:24 And keep his Laws for our churches will stand before the throne of God. For the Spirit of Truth is sent to you by God if it is Gods will for you to have such a gift Child......Keep the Sabbath and your Gifts will be amazing for God is loving to an obedient Child.

    God Bless The Grace of our Father God be with you.

For our Father does Not dwell in a Temple made by hands ACTS 17:24. For the Kingdom of God lives in Us....Follow No man Christ Yeshua said follow me.....For the Holy Spirit will teach you the scripture. Read your Bible on your own do not allow another man to teach you his understanding of our Fathers Book the Bible....For the Bible is sealed ISAIAH 29:11.....So you see when our Father God sees you reading on our own he will guide you Claudia.... Hi dear "Tamala", now it is one or maybe more diseases that make people lie. Then we who are Christians should not doubt in our spirit. But pray that the liar may disappear, right? In the Name of Jesus we pray then. I have met liars and the liar himself. It's a terrible experience. If they are not with you daily, it can help and pray that they come to the knowledge of truth. That they get to see the light, we must pray for all people.

    If u are a christian dont ever give up hope. If u are not its more difficult. God bless u in Jesus name, love u in Christ.

    That Christ's entry into heaven and sitting at the right hand of God is a time of preparation I take from John 14:1-4 and Psalm 110:1. The fact that Psalm 110:1 has escaped your attention in all that you have said tells me you are missing something critical to Peter's encouragement. In Matthew 22:41-46 Jesus put an end to the Pharises testing questions with this verse and his question to them. I think at minimum the Psalm 110 reference is plainly in Peter's view and is a definite source of comfort to suffering Christians, whose enemies will ultimately be placed under Christ's feet as His footstool.

    In my view these two passages I just mentioned relate to both God's patience and Christ's patience in sitting at the Father's right hand. Until the Father has completed His preparations, the final judgement of our age will not occur. But suffering Christians are awaiting that with Christ. To begin and end with the comfort of baptism is not all there is to cling to for those enduring true continuing and unrelenting injustice and suffering. The ultimate triumph of Christ's power over His enemies is also in view here. The spiritual realm being placed in subjection first signifies more is to come.

    I take comfort in that, particularly for brothers in countries that have real persecution of Christians. They know the promise of baptism, but they also look forward to and will know vindication when the Father has brought all things in subjection to Christ in His full triumph over all of His enemies.

    The salvation Noah experienced was the actual sweeping away of the wicked through the flood. Baptism, like in the case of Noah or the Israelites crossing the Red Sea, promises triumph over and final separation from the wicked and our enemies that we can be assured will actually occur through Psalm 110:1 (and the rest of that Psalm).

    Dear Y.MANAS RANJAN 1 The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel;

    2 To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;

    3 To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;

    4 To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.

    5 A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:

    6 To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.

    7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

    Everything in the proverbs is useful, learning and teaching for those who are thirsty for knowledge. We pray that you will get everything you desire and learn it fully, we pray that you will have the understanding to find and walk in the way of the Lord. Hallelujah Amen

    Be blessed in His Holy Name Jesus, love u in Christ. Luke 12

    Hi dear "Deborah Kuradal", there is so much we can struggle with in one day, and knowing that we belong to the Lord can be difficult for all of us. We need intercession and now i pray in Jesus Holy name for healing for my sister who asks for help Lord. Come with your peace and fill her spirit with joy and let all transgression come easily out of her mouth so that she may be free from it and not dwell on sin. Now we thank You that You are the One who redeems people and we believe in Him in Your Holy Name Jesus Christ. Amen

    It's saying the name of God in a disrespectul manner. I like watching Ray Comfort videos of his street evangelism and he always asks, would you use your parents' name as a cuss word? Most everyone says no, yet admits to using God's name in vain which is insulting to God and a violation of the 3rd of the 10 commandments. It's sad that in this society its difficult to escape hearing it everywhere and when your brain hears something tens of thousands of times it has an effect. God bless.

    This verse about itching ears comes to mind: 2 Timothy 4:3-4

    To me that means some people stray from the truth and only want to hear what they want to believe.

    Hi Nelcene. Media is the old name of the Median Empire that ruled between 625-550 BC, of which Persia lay to the East of the Empire & Media to the West. The whole empire stretched from present day Eastern Turkey to the Indus River (from which India gets its name), so it was a very large Empire. Nowadays, as you wrote, most of that area is occupied by Iran (& Afghanistan & Pakistan); with Iraq, Armenia, Syria & Lebanon occupying the Western part. Cyrus the Great of Persia later conquered the Medes & all the land became part of the Persian Empire. Of note, Media was a son of Japheth, Noah's son (spelled Madai in Genesis 10:2).

    Grecia is present day Greece but in those early days, its territorial boundaries are dissimilar to today's Greece. Notably, another son of Japheth, Javan, (Hebrew word for Greece is, Yavan) & Javan is generally understood as being the father of the Grecians.

    If you don't mind me asking....what do those verses guide or form your take of what the Bible says about liars?
  • Adam - In Reply - 3 years ago
    My opinion is there's nothing wrong with that phrase and think it shows humility and sensitivity to the will of God. It's similar to what Jesus said in Luke 22:42.

    One could ask: isn't everything God's will anyway since He's always in control isn't praying for God's will redundant?

    I believe God is powerful enough to intervene and powerful enough to change His mind based on our interactions with Him, and believe He fully gave us freewill and that we're not mere robots following a script. With that being said, I think living a prayerful life in humility as a servant trying our best to follow Jesus through obedience and asking for God's will to be done seems like a sign of a healthy Christ-follower to me. God bless you.

    Hello Jarome. I'm sure that you'll be greatly blessed in your meticulous study of the Gospel of John & for the many Truths that reveal more of Christ contained therein.

    As you have read from the first verse in the Gospel, the subject is Jesus. And John develops on this: that from the very beginning (from eternity), God's Word was intrinsically a part of the Godhead. All things were made by Him (i.e. from the Word proceeding from the Mouth of God). And in this Word there was life: not only giving out those words that gave life, but the Word to be made flesh would be the giving of life itself. And this Life would shine to all men (especially those in that day), but they never saw that Light - they saw the Man Jesus but they continued to live in the absence of His Light - in darkness, shutting their eyes & mind to the Light from God.

    Even now, we can see how people without the Light of Christ, live in spiritual darkness - most even believing that their darkness is actually light. Jesus spoke of this in Matthew 6:23 b: "...If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!". What men see as light (their knowledge & mental prowess, creative abilities, power over others, etc.), Jesus says that without Him, they are still living in darkness. They might do well on Earth (in their lifetimes), but what will all that matter when eternity calls upon them? But when those abilities are coupled with spiritual light, love for God & for His Son, & a submission to Him only, then they can truly experience "the light of life" ( John 8:12). And so John the Baptist came bearing witness of that Light (one could say, he came shining the flashlight of God's great Plan - until the radiant Light of His Son would appear to all). Unfortunately, as you know, most having seen that Light, still preferred to live in darkness (in sin, following traditions, even trusting the Law & their heritage to save them). But some came to the Light, basked in it & found freedom.

    To Sandy measurements in Bible.

    Use Body Parts for Biblical Measurements

    As ancient civilizations progressed to the need for keeping account of things, people used parts of the body as the quickest and easiest way to measure something. After sizing up artifacts according to both ancient and contemporary measurements, they've discovered that:

    A "finger" equals about three-quarters of an inch (roughly the width of an adult human finger)

    A "palm" equals about 3 inches or the size across a human hand

    A "span" equals about 9 inches, or the width of an extended thumb and four fingers

    James 4:13-16

    13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: 14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. 15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. 16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.

    Faith is not presumption that your will and God's will are the same. Jesus taught us to pray:

    Matthew 6:10

    Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

    Faith is submission to God's will as Christ submitted His will to the Father's will ( Matthew 26:36-46)

    39 And he (Jesus) went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

    42 He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.

    44 And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.

    True faith looks beyond ourselves. Philippians 4:4-11

    4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. 5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11

    And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
