    Ge.1:26

And GOD-the Father-said,Let us make man in our IMAGE,after our likeness:...

    Heb.1:1-3&6

1GOD,-the Father-who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

2Hath in these last days (last 2000 years or two GOD's Days, and around 4000 years after Adam)has spoken unto us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things,by whom also He made the worlds(as is written in John 1:3 combined with John 5:17)

3Who being the brightness of His Glory, and the EXPRESS IMAGE of GOD's Person(IMAGE described in the Scriptures),and upholding all things by the Word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

6And AGAIN,when GOD brings in the firstbegotten into the world-the current world-,He sais,And let all the angels of GOD worship Him.

Luke 20:35-36 ->35 But they which shall be accounted WORTHY to obtain that world-next world-the Kingdom of GOD-,and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:

36Neither can they die any more:for they are EQUAL unto the angels; and are the children of GOD-the Word is GOD, self-executing/ executable-,being the children of the resurrection.

So GOD-JESUS-created man in His own IMAGE,in the IMAGE of GOD-the Father-created He him;male and female created He them-Ge.1:27 combined with Jo.17:4-6->4 I have glorified thee on the earth:I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

5And now,O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

6I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gave me out of the world:thine they were, and thou gave them me;and they have kept thy Word.(John the Baptist preached, saying:No man has seen GOD-the Father- at any time, the only begotten Son,which is in the bosom of the Father,He hath declared Him-Jo.1:18)

The kingdoms OF THIS WORLD are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ;and He shall reign for ever and ever

God grant that I live according to His will while seeking Him always. I ask for good discretion, great choices, good judgement in issues that I can't comprehend. I ask for good health and a good job as I follow Him. Amen

My prayer request is for my brothers, Ron and Alex. They do not believe in Jesus Christ, they believe that they are good enough to go to heaven. One of my brothers went as far as to say "that he is good enough to get into heaven and if God won't let them in, that one of my brothers said that God could send him to hell. So my pray is for them.

    Thank You

Sorry, I meant acrimony instead of antimony (wrong word).

I hate the errors of the church over the centuries and the corruption. I hate the errors and corruption in the church in these times, whether these problems are in the Roman Catholic Church or Orthodox Church or Protestantism. There has been and still are so many beliefs that are not biblical that many believers are taught and/or believe. We are to be wise about Scriptures and know that we, too, can be caught up in error if we are not diligent.

Hi Jema, thank you for responding. I agree with you, God knows our future before we are born. Thank the Lord he saved you. True in what you said, we Christians are privileged. Thank You Lord for choosing us as Your children. May God richly bless you on all your endeavors for a fulfilling life in Christ.

    Hello Momsage,

I think that Giannis is correct, these men he quotes were believers of the early church who followed in the steps of the apostles who had died not much before they were born or came into adulthood. These men were the leaders who helped the fledgling church in the decades after the death of John, the last apostle to die. Their doctrine and practice was the closest to what the apostles taught and practiced than any time in history.

I think it is an error to label such people non-Christian. they professed Jesus as their Lord just like you and I and the whole of the Christian believers over the centuries. The Roman Catholic Church did not exist at this time. The RCC developed from these correct beginnings many centuries later, and with the rise of the papacy and the Holy Roman Empire after 500 AD, corruption was introduced and/or approved by the papacy and House of Cardinals of the Vatican.

There is much to learn about church history. Our roots go back through the Reformation, the Holy Roman Empire, the RCC, and the early church councils and leaders who refuted many heresies during the first centuries that we can be thankful for. But all was not rosy and good over the centuries and we should become knowledgeable of what has transpired between Pentecost and now. The old adage, "If one will not learn from history they are bound to repeat it." is applicable to us. When we wish to speak about what has happened in the past centuries, we should study church history to find out what really happened and what things led to the good things that came out of the church and the bad things that were worked into the church by the enemy.

Like it or now, believers today are indebted to those who were faithful believers all the way back to the apostles, and also we need to be aware of how the church has erred over time in both Roman Catholicism and Protestantism. We need to be careful to avoid some of the same mistakes that occurred in recent past and ancient past

    Hello again, Giannis,

I don't know why that first post was so weirdly formatted. But anyway, Momsage's outright rejection of your reference to these early church teachers shows her serious antimony toward Catholicism and I think it clouds her thinking about the history of our faith.

Thank you for offering us these quotes from these believing leaders in the time when apostle John was still alive (before 95AD. and/or in the decades shortly after he died. Many of the writers of the 100's AD were appointed to their offices by the apostles or by one who was appointed by an apostle. They were men of faith in our Lord.

They, more than any of us knew what was taught and practiced in the early times of the church after Pentecost. Certainly, they valued the teachings and writings of the apostles as being paramount tenets of the faith they held and taught to others.

I agree with you, these men were NOT Catholics. The church in the early centuries was universal as you say. There were heretical sects and teachers in those early times just as there are now and have been throughout the centuries. However, these men were godly believers who desired to live and lead the brethren in godliness according to the faith passed down from the

    apostles.

    Greetings in Christ JESUS

    Brothers in Christ

Has eternal punishment begun? In fact, it is already LITERALLY running. It's very hard to understand and to say, but the Truth is we have entered in the period of sorrows, a time of great sufferings and it will be until the END of this current world, world of Devil, and this until of the coming of JESUS as was prophesied since ancient time. JESUS warned that there shall be upon the earth distress of nations, and men's hearts failing them for fear looking those things which are coming on the earth- Luke 21:25-28-, and He Himself is already executing His prophetic words, understand? JESUS left very clear, saying: All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth- Matthew 28:18- I think this statement of my Lord JESUS is wonderful and impressive. By the way, be sure that our Lord JESUS does not need to be visible for now to execute His prophecies, the Word is GOD, it is prophetic, self-executing at a prophetically predetermined time.

    Get ready

Rest assured that as prophesied by the prophets, and apostles, and especially by our Lord JESUS, the ETERNAL punishment had a specific and predetermined period of time to begin, I MUST say that it has already begun because there will not be any gap in the transition from the period of SORROWS to the period of ETERNAL PUNISHMENT, in fact it is without a gap, in fact it is sequential, yes, there will be no gap between these two terrible events, it has already begun and it will NEVER END, it will NEVER STOP, it will be forever and ever.

    Get ready, get ready"

    Hello Patricia

Isaiah 57:1, "The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come."

Take the above as an answer to your questions. God has a plan for every single one of us, and it is the best plan for every one of us. For a parent to loose a child is probably the worst thing that may happen in their lives. A parent may be able to face everything else but a serious illness or a loss of a kid is something nobody can handle easily in their life. But we have to trust in God that He does the best. The best for our kids. I haven't lost a kid but I went through a very hard time when I lost my sister. 2-3 months after she gave her heart to Jesus she was killed in a motorbike accident. We grew up together, we went to the same schools, had the same friendships in our teens, we were very close. So when her funeral was going to take place I was wondering if I could stand it, for sometime I thought it would be better not to attend it, I thought I couldn't take it. But the "marvelous" thing was that after the funeral as I was driving away with my wife in the car , I said to her something that if a secular person heard it they would think I may be a psychopath. I said "You know I am feeling joy as if I am coming out of a marriage not a funeral, not the funeral of my dear sister. My wife said "I undertand you, I am feeling the same." God gave us in this way the assurance that my sister was in His hands safe and happy and we shouldn't worry about her. I never said that to any relative or friend who is not a christian, they wouldn't understand noway. Some other time I went to visit her grave and I was feeling very sad. After I left the cemetary I was feeling (again) joy. As if The Lord was telling me "Come on, stop feeling bad, there is no need for it. Why are you sad while your sister is happy here with me?"

I wish that can be a comfort to you.

    God bless you.

Gal.3:22-29KJV->24The Law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be Justified by Faith.

25But after that faith is come,we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

26For ye are all the children of GOD by faith in Christ Jesus.

29And if ye be Christ's,then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

23 But before faith came,we were kept under the Law,shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.

22 But the Scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of JESUS CHRIST might be given to them that believe.

    ROMANS 2:6-12KJV

6 Who WILL RENDER to every man according to his deeds:

7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality,ETERNAL LIFE:

8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness,INDIGNATION AND WRATH,

    9 TRIBULATION and ANGUISH,upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the JEW,and also of the GENTILE;

10 But glory, honour, and peace,to every man that worketh good,to the JEW first, and also to the GENTILE:

11 For there is no respect of persons with GOD.

    12 For as many as have sinned without Law(the GENTILES)shall also PERISH without Law:and as many as have sinned in the Law(the JEWS)shall be JUDGED by the Law;

By the way,we are now living LITERALLY in the period of SORROWS as my Lord JESUS said- Matthew 24:3-8- but it is a short period of events listed by JESUS, the worst comes soon when the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stands in the holy place( Matthew 24:21-25KJV -> 21 Then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time(current time), no, nor ever shall be.

22 EXCEPT those days(current days)be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake these days shall be shortened.

23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there;(as is written in John 5:43-47) BELIEVE IT NOT.

25 Behold,I have told you before.

    Ignatius of Antioch, chapter 9

If, therefore, those who were brought up in the ancient order of things have come to the possession of a new hope, no longer observing the Sabbath, but living in the observance of the Lord's Day, on which also our life has sprung up again by Him and by His death - whom some deny, by which mystery we have obtained faith, and therefore endure, that we may be found the disciples of Jesus Christ, our only Master - how shall we be able to live apart from Him, whose disciples the prophets themselves in the Spirit did wait for Him as their Teacher? And therefore He whom they rightly waited for, having come, raised them from the dead. Matthew 27:52

Teachings of the 12 Apostles, 14:1

"But every Lord's day gather yourselves together, and break bread, and give thanksgiving after having confessed your transgressions, that your sacrifice may be pure. But let no one who is at odds with his fellow come together with you, until they be reconciled, that your sacrifice may not be profaned. For this is that which was spoken by the Lord: "In every place and time offer to me a pure sacrifice; for I am a great King, says the Lord, and my name is wonderful among the nations."

Those were not Catholics, they were Greeks actually not Latins. At the time the church had not been separated into different fractions. The first split of that united church occured in 1054 AD, and the Roman Catholic church emmerged as a separate church.

    Hello Momsage 1/2

    Barnabas 15:9

"Wherefore also we keep the eighth day for rejoicing, in the which also Jesus rose from the dead, and having been manifested ascended into the heavens." (The eight day is the day after the last/seventh day of the Jewish Sabbath, that is Sunday or Lord's Day as the early christians used to call it)

    Justin the Martyr, chapter 67

"And on the day called Sunday, all who live in cities or in the country gather together to one place, and the memoirs of the apostles or the writings of the prophets are read, as long as time permits; then, when the reader has ceased, the president verbally instructs, and exhorts to the imitation of these good things. Then we all rise together and pray, and, as we before said, when our prayer is ended, bread and wine and water are brought, and the president in like manner offers prayers and thanksgivings, according to his ability, and the people assent, saying Amen;.... But Sunday is the day on which we all hold our common assembly, because it is the first day on which God, having wrought a change in the darkness and matter, made the world; and Jesus Christ our Saviour on the same day rose from the dead. For He was crucified on the day before that of Saturn (Saturday); and on the day after that of Saturn, which is the day of the Sun, having appeared to His apostles and disciples, He taught them these things, which we have submitted to you also for your consideration.

You and your family have certainly endured a lot of heartbreak and I am so sorry for your loss . Please know that God is with you every second . I have a theory , it's just my theory it's not Biblical . I believe that God knows all these awful things that are going to happen to us before we are even born . I had a horrible damaging childhood . God knew I would have the childhood that I had . Because He is merciful , He decided to allow me to be aware of Him and His love for me . This happened in my mid twenties . At that time I was at a cross roads in my life and I could have walked down some bad roads . God also knew what I was going to have to face in the future . So , at the perfect point He intervened , He allowed me to be aware of Him . This gave me the strength to overcome my past troubles and the courage to face my future ones . He could have just left me in ignorance , to fend for myself . Instead , knowing what I had been through and knowing what was coming my way , He took pity upon me and , saved me , physically mentally emotionally and spiritually . Without Him , without Him allowing me to be aware of Him , I would have been dead many years ago . Which means I wouldn't have met my husband , I wouldn't have been here to help my aging parents , according to two of my friends I saved their lives , I wouldn't have been here to do that . So many things would be different for so many people if I hadn't been saved by my God . This is true of all of us , we are all impacting on each others lives all day every day . We Christians are the most privileged people , we know the Truth , we walk in the light of life , knowing that our God is with is . This gift from God is the most precious and if we allow Him to , He will walk us through the fire of our lives and bring us through the other side , to His Kingdom . Do not doubt . Just trust Him . He knows what He is doing . Thy Kingdom Come .

First of all, thank you: Gigi, Giannis, Chris, Adams, and Jema. Thank you for your advice, encouragement and prayers. I have read and meditated on your words.

Let me tell you a little bit of my story.

In 1986 I had brain surgery. No tumors, no lesions, the doctors could not pinpoint the reason, so they said aneurysm. I was fine one day and dying the next. The doctors told my husband and family that they did not know how long I would be in a coma. They said, if she recovers, she will most probably be in what we called, vegetative state.

Well, hallelujah! I am normal and have three degrees.

In 1996, I had a Grand Mal Siezure and I was rushed to the hospital. The Lord once again healed me. Hallelujah!

In 2008, I had a another Grand Mal Seizure and my heart stopped beating. Once again the hospital. I stayed one week. The doctors told me that I needed a ICD-Implanted Cardioverter-defibrillator. I said, "No thank you, I have Jesus in my heart and He is my Physician."

So, I have been close to death three times in my life. Yes, I, we, have faith in God Almighty.

September 26, 2023, our daughter was diagnosed as having colon cancer, that spread to her liver and lungs. Plus, 11 lesions in her brain. She had been healthy her entire life. No smoking, drinking, drugs.

Two months 10 days later on December 6, 2023, the Lord took her home. The Lord did not answer our prayers for healing her. Our hearts are broken.

Why did God bless us with three miracles for me and not one for our daughter? Yes, I know His ways or not our ways. He knows best. Thank You Lord God Almighty for taking Monique home.

So, although my sickness is not life threatening, we will continue praying for another healing miracle for me. Or take me home.

Once again thank you for your advice and God bless you, my brothers and sisters in Christ.

"Hello Giannis: I appreciate your comments but I politely disagree with both. The names (not quotes) you gave me were Catholics not Christians. Big difference. If you don't mind, would you be able to respond with quotes to show historical proof of what you say.

Galatians 4: 9-11 Again this deals with the corruption of the laws, statues and ordinances that Moses gave; the Laws of Moses, not the Commandments of God. Moses' laws were done away with through the Cross, Jesus summed up the Commandments of God into 2, Matthew 22: 37-40 "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. (First 4 of God's commandments) And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. (Last 6 of God's commandments). On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." Verse 40 is referring to the real laws and words from the prophets that God gave, not the corrupted versions of the people. Just like today as most people use the modern translations of the bible written by men instead of the one true translation written by the Holy Spirit. Those true believers who go to church on Sunday and read modern versions of the bible are doing NO wrong, not unless God has revealed the truth to them and they deny it. I'm not talking about these discussions I am presenting to this group, as being revealed to you, I am talking about a real conviction of the Holy Spirit as I have received. Those experiences are between the believer and God, but I won't remain silent on the subjects either. God Bless :)
