God bless you abundantly Sister LaTonya. I'm trusting God for you. I'm also praying for a healing for myself. And I'm believing God for that too. He WANTS us to be well. Sickness is not His will. Jesus healed someone every where He went. He had great compassion. Sometimes we just gotta press through the crowd and get to Jesus. And sometimes our loved ones and friends carry us to Jesus, and He sees our great faith and heals us. And sometimes we just gotta get downright crazy desperate like the woman with the issue of blood.
You've asked.
"Should I not trust my mother, my father or my pastor."
My answer to that, given no information into regards of anything specific I would say yes! "Naturally" you should be able to trust those love ones. And those love ones should play a role in your life in a biblical perspective.
This is where it is important that you study scripture to be able to use discernment. If they don't seem to line up with scripture, you bring those scriptures to them and reason out of scripture.
God's word always have authority.
God bless.
The first major difference is how the curse upon the ground in Genesis 3:17 is regarded:
...Because thou... hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
Cain disregarded the fact that his earthly labors were under a curse and could only bring sorrow until he died, while Able had regard for God's words concerning the ground.
The second major difference is how the awareness of our nakedness must be dealt with before God in Genesis 3:21
Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
Fig leaves and plant fibers like cotton are adequate to cover the visible nakedness men and women see when looking at each other, but is completely inadequate for covering the nakedness that still makes us hide from God after we put those things on.
Skins from an animal meant that God had killed an animal and possibly tanned it. In any case, God shed the first blood ever shed on planet earth in order to cover Adam and Eve's nakedness before Him. Cain had no regard for that, but Able did.
Even though animal sacrifice wasn't adequate to fully restore humanity's ideal relationship with God, Able recognized that God had made the first move toward real reconciliation by shedding blood and designed his offering to call that to mind and remember that before God. The Lord's supper serves that purpose now.
1 Samuel 2:30
Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.

I have been questioning and self-evaluating lately as people often say what you spend the most time on reflects ones priorities. For most people, this is work, and that means we spend most of our time in pursuit of money. On the surface that sounds bad and contrary to the scripture. Of course we all need it in order to live, to buy food, have shelter, provide for family. Perhaps the love of money is more than just trying to get it to make ends meet, because otherwise everyone might fit into that category, maybe even Jesus.
Jesus spent most of his life working as a carpenter from my understanding and didn't start his ministry until age 30-33. 3 years of 33 years is just 9% of his life. Maybe half of his life was working, so He probably did that more than His ministry. I assume He worked to sell his work to make money or trade so He could eat food and have shelter.
Where our treasures are our hearts are also. My hunch is that this pursuit of 'treasure' is more than just being financially responsible, preparing for retirement, etc., but when we spend most of our lives trying to earn money it would seem wise to have clear boundaries to keep ourselves in check.
Great questions
We know there's not much given.
I believe the emphasis on those verses is the obvious instructions and faith in the offerings.
And you're right the world could have been populated with thousands at that point, They could have been hundreds of years old.
Thank you.
Gis bless.
I agree that Abel's quality of faith was different than Cain's.
Why this was so, we do not know.
But God did find Abel's sacrifice (and faith) acceptable but not Cain's.
Some things we will never know for sure, especially that both Cain and Abel were born to and raised by the same parents who knew God and were so near to the creation time. I do wonder about the others siblings of these two. Did they have faith like Abel?
Perhaps some, but not all.
Guessing that Seth did. And how many siblings did Abel have at this time or how many during Seth's life?
I pray Lord bless Sister L. with a regenerated heart! She wants to keep her own heart that You gave her. I know that this is NOT too hard for You. Lord, I BELIEVE! Thank You in Jesus name
:-)
I think Yah made all his words perfect
You need to yield to God. Romans 13:14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof. (In other words, Mike, you need to deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow Him.
