I'm requesting prayer for my mom and me. We both have issues with pain. My mother is 78 years old and over the past few years she has fallen several times which has resulted in many broken bones plus she had a spinal fusion 20 plus years ago that causes her much pain. I am a cancer survivor (praise the Lord) and 10 years ago I was diagnosed with lupus. The cancer therapy which included surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. While the treatment did Its intended job the radiation burned me so bad that my skin looked cooked and inside my body it damaged my sacral spine along with all of the nerves, it also damaged my bladder, hips and the si joints. For a time I was unable to walk without assistance which included a wheelchair. I have a great deal of pain coming from the sacral area of my spine, the si joints that cause pain to travel to my groin, my legs, it causes the muscles in my low back to spasm and it the joints themselves become very sore. I have neuropathy in both of my legs and feet. The pain as a result of the lupus effects my hands, knees, toe joints, rib cage and it causes muscle pain. For the past couple months my pain has been uncontrollable and I just don't want to be placed on higher mg pain medications or have the neurontin increased. I do get a decreasing prednisone pack that helps with the lupus pain and the fatigue that comes with lupus. My mom has had more pain in her legs with the right leg being much worse. She fell 3 years ago and broke the right leg just above the ankle along with a few toes. I know that the lord can heal and I believe if it be in his plan he will heal mom and me. I ask for healing and if that isnt the lords plan a decrease In the intensity of the pain would be a blessing. The pain is causing me a lot of anxiety and depression please pray for us. If things aren't bad enough both of us are worried about making our monthly checks stretch to pay the higher prices and hoping we can buy food and pay co-pays for our medicine.

Please pray for me. I struggle a lot with being single and I truly desire to be married. I worry a lot that I will never get married and I need God's mercy and help with finding the right Christian lady to marry. I really do desire a joyful marriage that is blessed by God, Proverbs 18:22. Please pray that Jesus Christ in His mercy and grace will help me find and marry a wife who is beautiful to me, the helpmeet ( Genesis 2) who is right and best for me. Please pray that Jesus Christ will help me be a good husband. Thank you. May God bless you.

Good point that John 3:16 says that "whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life" not "whosoever believed in Him once upon a time..." Even in English it indicates continuing belief and I am sure the Greek is even clearer.

    Chris,

God is not preserving Israel, quite the opposite. He is unleashing anti-christ on them come the 6th trumpet. The prophets weren't per se historians, as they are seers for generations. Prophesy repeats itself, and you're not allowing that to happen, the parallels, you're not matching up scripture, observing the tidings.

Explain to me what you believe, and according to the prophets? You have told me we differ, what do you think?

    "Jacquella on Exodus 22:18

Who are the real archangels in the King James Holy Bible versions and where can i find them no offense i dont want angels that are catholic i know Michael and Gabriel is two but what are some more archangel who are wit God i dont want no false archangels i will ask my pastor and i will look up the angels you send me in the bible thanks and God Bless"

REEEEAAALLLLLLLY? You don't want "angels that are catholic"? This statement you complete and total ignorance of basic theology. So I will make this EASY for you.

Angels, which I personally do not believe exist, would have been created by El Elyon, the first god of the old testament and was THE god of the time before Moses. Moses' god is named 'Yahweh' or 'Yahaweh' depending on your preference.

Now, follow this simple concept. El Elyon would have created his angels BEFORE he created mankind, which is the accepted belief among everyone. ALL the religions of the world were created by MANKIND. God wouldn't have not needed a religion to teach himself, ABOUT himself. In the period when god would have created angels, no religions existed, there was only god. So why would god assign a religion to them? Angels would have first hand knowledge of god, right?

In conclusion it's like you hoped your car is a Cadillac is a time (--THOUSANDS OF YEARS AGO--) when cars couldn't have possibly existed.

Besides, everyone knows all angels are jewish!

    Isaiah 11:2

    And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;

I believe this verse prophesied the seven key characteristics of the Holy Spirit that Jesus was empowered to manifest in His ministry at His baptism when the Holy Spirit came and rested upon Him as a dove.

    In Acts 2:3 it says:

Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

We should not be surprised that the Holy Spirit's power is manifested as seven separate flames in Revelation if we accept that this is the way he first manifested Himself to and through the Church at Pentacost. The number seven is used so often in Revelation for perfection that it would be astounding if any other number had been given as the count of the number of divided tongues of fire that reveal the Holy Spirit in that book.

    Yes Gigi

I hear you but Dan post was referring to something recent and direct!

He was answering a thread not posting a comment.

His post was directed at me.

Dan has been stating long before you come on the site that you MUST keep the 10 commandments in order to be saved.

He makes no apologies about his position.

This is another gospel and you amen to that!?

    Richard,

The lady of kingdoms is America, who else can it be? This chapter is about the day of the Lord and Mystery Babylon's fall.

Compare verses 8-9 to Jeremiah 15:8-9 as they compliment each other. "Their widows are increased....I have caused him (beast) to fall upon it suddenly (in one moment in one day), and terrors upon the city (nation)".

The Spoiler is the beast at noonday = 3 PM EST when the sun is high in the sky. This is why Mystery Babylon falls while it was yet day, by 4 PM EST.

America is that city (metaphor) that sits on 7 continents, Mystery Babylon, working hand in hand with her allies. They will all go dark judgment day.

    "Adam.

I believe the only thing you got right in that post was your first sentence when you said

"I'm not totally clear on this,"

I didn't create the narrative. here's the narrative.

Since God's holy Sabbath day is on a Saturday and we are to honor God's Sabbath day which is the fourth commandment is it wrong for us to be going to church on Sunday shouldn't we be going to church on Saturday.

I used James 2:10. to say you can't just focus on the sabbath day and leave the other 9 commandments out.

And perfectly means ALL of them, all the time!! Are you saying that's wrong? if so you are saying it's ok not to obey the 10 commandments.

And I said the law was given to Israel. Is that wrong? Romans 9:4.

    And I gave Colossians 2:14-16.

And you may have read "We rest in the finished work of Christ on the cross"

It doesn't mean we don't have to keep the 10 Commandments!

It means we are no longer condemned by the 10 Commandments. This is the complete work of God.

The 10 commandments is called the ministration of Death.

    2 Corinthians 3:6-9.

When someone says we obey God by and through the Spirit isn't that obeying God?

The Spirit commands the heart not the flesh. You have to ALREADY be born again to obey it.

The law commanded the flesh and the flesh is weak! read Romans 7.

This is what James is talking about in James 2:14. Your faith is to be confirmed by good works!

It has nothing to do with the sabbath day.

    Again my reason for using

James 2:10. is to say why if you're going to be under the law you have to be perfect.

Furthermore I have no idea how teaching this teaches people to sin when the scripture says

Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. Romans 3:27-28.

I don't see why you and Gigi have a problem with that.

    I will post more later.

    God bless."

Mark 12:26-27 is the parallel passage to Luke 20:37-38 where Jesus made the arguement using God's statement "I am the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob", while Luke seems to be arguing that when Moses wrote that the memorial name of the Lord is the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob that Moses intended to teach that God is the God of the living. Either way, the Sadducees only accepted the Torah as God's Word and held that the resurrection of the dead was never taught by Moses. Jesus said they were greatly mistaken about Moses teaching and had no understanding of the meaning of this part of his conversation with the Lord at the burning bush.

    Hi Sola Scrip.

I stated "Keeping the law imperfectly is "still" a death sentence."

The point was those who desire to put themselves UNDER the Law.

God gave the law to Moses to give to the children of Israel and breaking the sabbath was a death penalty. Point is if you desire to be under the law how do you separate the penalty of the law from the law?

"If" the hand written articles haven't been nailed to the cross then the penalty still exists.

You stated It is very WRONG to tell Christians that they will be put to death if they try to keep the 10 commandments.

    I didn't say that.

    God bless.

In Luke 16:19-31 Jesus tells the parable of Lazarus and the rich man. He describes the life of luxury the rich man had and the life of misery that Lazarus had on earth at the rich man's gate. The rich man never did the slightest kindness for Lazarus and his dogs were more caring than he was about Lazarus' condition. They eventually both died. Lazarus was carried by angels to Abraham's bosom immediately upon his death and the rich man's body is buried. However the soul of no longer rich man finds himself in torment in hades but can see Lazarus and Abraham when he lifts his eyes.

Abraham's conversation with the tormented soul in this parable is fascinating for a variety of reasons. Abraham knows about the lives that both Lazarus and the tormented soul lived while they were on earth. Abraham's description of where Lazarus is matches the key characteristics meant by the word heaven and where the tormented soul is fits the key characteristics of the place we commonly call hell.

The tormented soul is aware that at the time of his conversation with Abraham that he has two brothers living at that moment who need to be told to avoid coming where he is. So this is not a conversation occurring at the end of the age. Abraham is aware that these brothers had God's word through Moses and the Prophets, even though Abraham died more than 400 years before Moses, let alone the Prophets that came afterward. Abraham also knew if the brothers wouldn't listen to Moses and the Prophets they wouldn't believe if someone rose from the dead.

The way Abraham behaves in this parable is consistent with Luke 20:37-38 where Jesus told the Sadducees that when God said "I am the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob" to Moses using the present tense that was proof that God raises the dead "For He is not the God of the dead but of the living, for all live to Him."

The thief on the cross asked to be remembered at the end of the age, but Jesus said he would be in paradise with Him that very day.

    Brother Dan.

Sorry my response took so long,

I've been getting off work late all this week.

Dan there is a difference in obeying Gods commandments by the power of the Holyspirit and Putting yourself under the law.

Luke 6:46-47. Is a condition AFTER you have received salvation. "Not an requirement! That rock is Christ, Not the Law!

And the verse you quoted is to Israel. So let's examine that.

Jeremiah 31:31-33. Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:

But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

    You noticed verse 32?

He said NOT according to the covenant that I made with their fathers. Why? "which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them." The Law was given to Israel fathers and they couldn't keep them.

When they, "Israel as a nation' come to Christ in the Millennium that will.

    Just as his Church today!

Right now the Lord is calling out his Church and then he will deal with Israel.

Israel with God taking them by the hand as a husband to them and still coming up short was to drive us to Christ.

2 Corinthians 3:2-11. sums up this whole discussion.

Everything we obey "IS" by the Spirit of God. Our righteousness is as filthy rags.

    God bless.

The sun, moon and stars were created the fourth day, not the third. My summary is:

The first set of three days all involve division in relationship to waters: division over waters, division vertically between waters (establish earth's atmosphere and pre-flood waters above 2 Peter 3:5-6) and division horizontally/gathering of waters to reveal land with plants/trees made for food

The next set of three days create bodies that fill and/or establish God's ordained rule over the divisions in the same order. Celestial bodies, flying and swimming bird and fish bodies, land animal bodies that eat green herbs without seed and man/woman bodies that eat herbs and fruit with seed.

Christ rose in three days, which likely is why there are two groups of three days in which God's purpose in creating things unfolds differently in the first three days of creation from the second set of three days in creation. This is consistent with God's shift in direction between the Old and New Testament dispensations that are defined by whether they preceed or follow the good news of Christ's resurrection.

The Old Testament continually divided people to make it clear who the Christ was when he appeared. Now that Christ is revealed and resurrected the New Testament message is filling the earth with good seed mixed with bad, filling the nets with good fish mixed with bad, filling the wedding hall with invited guests who are ready or unprepared, etc.

God, through Christ and His angels will dispense the final separation of the bad and gathering of the good to establish God's Sabbath rest in the new creation.

You've never explained this. These 2 verses are 42 months apart. They are in different context, and context is not your friend.

    Mat. 24:29-30

(vs 29) depicts the 6th trumpet, day of the Lord, 2nd woe. (Jesus doesn't show in person)

(vs 30) depicts the 7th trumpet, day of the Lord's vengeance, 3rd woe.
