    Chris,

I study in with wonderment, no fear, but I know what you mean.

The judgment is against Babylon, and the rest of the world, but specifically 2 lands. The world past the 6th trumpet will be a curse.

When America receives the abomination of desolation ( Isaiah 13, Isaiah 47, Joel 2:1-11, Revelation 18), Israel is invaded at the earthquake ( Revelation 6:12) and taken.

Ezekiel prophetically gives the blueprint that 2 lands, both houses of Israel (Israel & Judah) are to be attacked by Gog, Esau, king of the north, Russia, and soundly taken.

    ( Ezekiel 21:19-20)

19 Also, thou son of man, appoint thee two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may come: both twain shall come forth out of one land: and choose thou a place, choose it at the head of the way to the city.

20 Appoint a way, that the sword may come to Rabbath of the Ammonites, and to Judah in Jerusalem the defenced.

Anti-christ rules everything. He rebuilds the temple in Jerusalem where he claims to be God. Jesus said, "Israel will be trodden underfoot 42 months by the Gentiles."

( Luke 21:24) And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

( Ezekiel 21:12) Cry and howl, son of man: for it shall be upon my people, it shall be upon all the princes of Israel: terrors by reason of the sword shall be upon my people: smite therefore upon thy thigh.

"smite upon thy thigh" is a reference to Jacob receiving a wound in the 'hollow of his thigh' after wrestling the angel for the birthright. It coincides with the end-times because the great tribulation (6th trumpet) is referred to as Jacob's time of trouble. America is co-lead for the house of Israel. The Ashkenazim (Japheth) in Israel represent Judah ( Gen 10:2-3).

Prepare for the 6th trumpet, judgment day. God's people are in trouble.

Therefore I tell you whatever you ask for and Prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Tonight I was at the gas station and saw my ex. Her mother accused me of things and told me to stay away from her daughter who is an adult. Believe that God has already worked this situation. I firmly believe my ex will return to me. I handle myself very professionally. Even though her mother was angry and evil with me. God is giving My ex Gabby the courage and the strength as we speak. Stacy is trying to keep Gabby from reconciling with me with threats and intimidation. Pray for Stacy.

Out on the red page where you came into this site, is a Link: BECOME A BELIEVER.

It will walk you through sound doctrine on how to become a Christian, or to renew your commitment.

You have to make a stronger commitment to read the Bible (Gospels through to the End). Visiting Proverbs and Psalms also ( Psalm 51).

It's helpful to attend church, listen to church programs on the car FM radio in gridlock. You'll like Greg Laurie on YouTube. I do.

It's easier to come back if you'll draw close to the Lord. Begin to say no to the world and that voice that makes us despair. Come away from it for a while. We all deal with it; so we are here For You. Someone's here day or night.

Explore the other links or the boxes. You'll like Testimonies.

  • FALLING AWAY IN THE LAST DAYS - 3 years ago
As Paul wrote the Thessalonians informing them of the falling away to come, he details the coming apostasy in other passages. 1 Timothy 4:1-2, "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron." 2 Timothy 4:3-4, "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables." Hebrews 3:12-19 - Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

Departing from the faith. The Bible explains the dividing line between the Spirit of God and the spirit of Antichrist is the deity of Christ ( 1 John 4:3). It takes faith in the sacrificial death of Christ for salvation_I am a sinner, Christ died for my sins, and his blood washes my sins away. If Jesus Christ is not God, His death is worthless. If Jesus is not God, his blood has no more power in it than mine or yours. The deity of Christ is essential to the Christian faith and the Christian hope for eternity.

People claiming Christianity are leaving the doctrine of Christ's deity in leaps and bounds. In a survey October 2018__78 percent of "Americans with evangelical beliefs" said that Jesus was the first and greatest being CREATED by God the Father.

If God created Jesus, He is not God. The deity of Christ is the core of the Christian faith. Suppose the numbers of this survey are close to accurate?

"In the latter times," people will depart from the faith, give heed to seducing spirits, not endure sound doctrine.

    SolaScrip,

I don't know what to say beyond what I've already said. I gave you my best arguments. Didn't you like the Revelation 7 discovery that the 144,000 are transported in time: sealed on earth, to wearing white robes in heaven. The truth is hidden within the same chapter?

I know context rather well, and since your point is untenable, you can't convince me that the millennium doesn't exist. The scriptures do not help your cause. I encourage you to talk this out with your local Bible buffs. Tune in on the context of events.

    5th trumpet: Tribulation begins

    6th trumpet: Great Tribulation begins

7th trumpet: Time is up, all prophesy has been fulfilled, 1,000 years begins with saints and remaining beasts.

*Afterlife: New heavens, new earth with God dwelling among us.

Would you rather I said we're all going back to dust, back into the universe, infinitely perfect?

    What else can we discuss?

explain if you will, (The fruits meet for repentance)

I am asking for a clearer understanding. I am backslider who wants to return to Christ through Repentance.
  • Richard H Priday on Isaiah 49 - 3 years ago
This passage is a clear reference to the Millennium period. Children are said to be born in verse 20; and taken LITERALLY sons and daughters will be brought from captivity and kings and queens will take care of them (clearly the men won't do nursing so that is symbolic in verse 23.)

This theme actually starts in verse 17 and all the captive are to be returned according to verse 25; no doubt including all prisoners as other verses indicate. These; no doubt will be the ones to give PHYSICAL offspring so that clearly there is a period before this earth is destroyed completely by fire for the fullness of offspring and the land to occur. The dealings with the wicked in verse 25 and 26 show the period of time AFTER Armageddon; and in fact is the way Christ will deal with rebellion in the 1000 year reign; with swift judgment.

The beginning section deals with the prisoners being released (verse 9); and general themes that the Messiah will prophetically fulfill in that time. The reaching out to the Gentiles in verse 6; along with the rest of the text shows a double fulfillment; both in the initial ministry of Christ bringing them to salvation (primarily later on in the Book of Acts as the church is established); but also of course the absolute rule over the earth when nations through force will bow down and give reverence due. Verse 10 shows a parallel passage with the 144, 000 who are in heaven after their suffering during the Tribulation and verse 11 shows the real PHYSICAL changes on the topography of the earth. There will also be routes to surrounding nations as seen in verse 11 and elsewhere; where Egypt and Assyria are mentioned.

I would amend my commentary to say that a great-grandson (4th generation) of the 1st generation adult counted in the census of Numbers 1:1-54 may have had to have been born at the latest 25 years after that census only if Hebron was conquered ( Joshua 15:13-19) immediately after it was given as an inheritance to Caleb in Joshua 14:6-15. That would allow that great grandson (4th generation) to be counted in the army that took Hebron. Any time delay between Joshua 14:6-15 and Joshua 15:13-19 increases the likelihood that a great grandson was born (my previous comments assumed a 5 year delay between Joshua 14 and Joshua 15, but I grant that may not have occurred). So here are the generation requirements under the worst case scenario with the shortest allowance of time:

1st generation: A member of the army counted in Numbers 1:1-54 any age greater than 20 years old.

2nd generation: A son of the 1st generation that was not counted in the army in Numbers 1:1-54. As long as he turned 20 the day after the census.

3rd generation: A grandson born to a 2nd generation son who was old enough to have a 4th generation son (great grandson) born to him prior to the 25th year after the census in Numbers 1:1-54.

4th generation: A great grandson born to the 3rd generation at least 1 day prior to the 25th year after the census in Numbers 1:1-54.

The average ages of the 2nd generation and 3rd generation on the day that their son was born would have been no more than 22 1/2 years to meet these requirements. This is not unreasonable given that the slaves in Egypt clearly had a fast birth rate driven by having children at young ages and the fact that marrying in the first year of military service delayed entry into the army by a year which was an incentive for bearing children before they turned 22.

  • Richard H Priday on Isaiah 48 - 3 years ago
The obstinance of those of the "house of Jacob" known as Israel is much as the Pharisees in the New Testament; they were deaf to His Truth; and obstinate (v. 4) Idol worship is implied in this section as well (v. 5) which never helps in any understanding of the truth. God; as always keeps from total destruction and will refine His people for His own sake (v. 9-11). This was the case in Isaiah's time with the nation of Babylon and certainly will be the case in the time of Jacob's trouble in the Tribulation in the future ( Jeremiah 30:7).

God's role in Creation is in the following two verses; and verses 14 to 15 reiterate the theme also from Jeremiah that God was using other nations to judge Israel and indeed shows favor so that their invasion is ensured to succeed in His timing. Then verse 16 talks about God and states "and now the Lord God; and His Spirit hath sent me." This shows the whole Godhead; with Christ being the one sent. Verse 17 shows God leading Israel; even when they are in exile He still is there and they are to return back after 70 years. Verse 18 reminds us of Christ when He said that as little birds He would have led them but they refused; they didn't know the day of their visitation. The multiplying of the nation according to verse 19 would have been quicker had they remained obedient. God promises provision in their diaspora (verse 20-21); which could also refer to the time He protects them in the wilderness in Revelation for 1260 days. Finally; the last verse indicates that there is no peace for the wicked; which is repeated in Isaiah 57:21; and similar themes in Psalms and elsewhere.

  • HOW SATAN GETS AROUND - In Reply - 3 years ago
The Bible is the inspired Word of God. It bears His Name.

Secular books bear their authors names.

Satan roams about wherever he wants to.

    JOB 1:

6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.

7 And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

However___ Jesus imparted His Authority and the Power in His Name, INTO HIS BELIEVERS. TO bind Satan and cast Him out of our lives, bodies, families, etc. He has to leave. Satan is not a human; and earth was created for humans. On the Cross, Jesus shed his Blood over his followers and the Earth. It ran down the Cross into soil of creation, and was redeemed.

That was why "a body Thou has provided". Jesus is the Son of Man; and the Son of God. He TOOK BACK the authority Satan had stole from Adam.

Jesus restored that Authority to His born again, Spirit-filled Believers. Male and Female.

So if your faith in Jesus is strong, you can send satan and his devils off world, to the deep parts of the earth. Be watchful because Satan goes about as a roaring Lion. Don't become complacent.

This is why I tell Christians to go sit in the car and pray these strong prayers so people in the home aren't frightened.

Remember__when you bind the devils, you are also to LOOSE also. Release Heavens blessings, ask for angelic assistance with your teenagers. ASK FOR WHAT YOU NEED. If the Bible is too mysterious, then ASK for the Holy Spirit to teach you the meanings (like Ephesians 6). That's why Jesus gave Him to us. Google His ministry to the saints; for quick study. Underline those verses in your Bible.

When you are sure that this works, teach it to someone else. That's also what disciples do.

Read some David Wilkerson books; or there's videos on YouTube. Try to hear Jesus's heart.

Aaron, the verses that you are making the final word on the matter are verses from a book that has no literal, nor linear, translation whatsoever.

The last word in Mt.24:29 is shaken: (followed by a semi-colon: ) that means that the next word was part of the same sentence in the original writing.

Isaiah 13:9-11 reveals itself to take place on the exact same day as Mat. 24:29-31 with specific 'signature' descriptions of events.

If your only evidence is Revelation, don't waste your time replying. God is not the author of confusion; what you are claiming, my friend, is nothing short of the epitome of confusion. Jesus wouldn't have SPOKEN the words in verse 29-30 if He was hiding something in between. And if He HAD BEEN, He would've cleared it up in scripture just as He did with the Wheat and Tares doctrine of Mt. 13.

1 Cor. 15:22-24 makes crystal clear that THE END comes IMMEDIATELY after Christ's return.

"... in Christ shall ALL be made alive.... every man in his own order: Christ (IS) the firstfruits (there is NO COMMA after Christ there); afterward they that are Christ's AT HIS COMING. THEN COMETH THE END, when He shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when He shall have put down all rule and all authority and power."

And why does He turn everything over to the Father immediately after His return? Because it is HIS KINGDOM as we speak. The devil has been 'bound/restrained' from having any power over True Christians besides what they give him power over.

"For the (power of sin) doth already work: only He who now (restrains will restrain), until He be taken out of the way."

    2 Cor. 2:7

"For the Lord ... shall descend from Heaven ... and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive...shall be caught up...to meet the Lord... SO SHALL WE EVER BE WITH THE LORD."

    1 Cor. 4:16-17

No 1,000 year trial period whatsoever.

    You've totally twisted this analogy.

The son departed from the ways of his father (God) and found nothing but misery.

When he returned to his father's ways (The 10 Commandments), he was welcomed with open arms and given comfort and love and hope and all provisions.

That is how the Father is with us. Contrary to OSAS warriors, we CAN depart from the faith and the Bible shows many examples of that. But when we REPENT of our selfish ways, and RETURN to the Father's Ways (the Commandments), He will welcome us back and restore our Salvation.

    Roman,

"... as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the days of the Son of Man. They...(ate, drank and married)... until THE DAY that Noah entered the Ark, and the flood came, and destroyed THEM ALL. (The sinners are not destroyed 1,000 years later)

Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; ... THE SAME DAY that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from Heaven, and destroyed THEM ALL.

Even thus shall it be in THE DAY when the Son of Man is revealed."

    Luke 17:26-30

    And when is He revealed?

AFTER the Great Tribulation, on the LAST DAY of this world, NOT 1,000 years later.

    Mt. 24:29-31

    John 6:39, 40, 44, 54; 11:24; 12:48

"... the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, ...cast into the sea, ...When it was full, they ... gathered the good into vessels, but CAST THE BAD AWAY. (They didn't SAVE the bad for 1,000 years.)

So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth and SEVER THE WICKED from among the just, and shall CAST THEM INTO THE FURNACE OF FIRE: ..."

    Mat. 13:47-50

The wicked will be SEVERED from the just on THE DAY that Jesus returns, and they will be destroyed along with the rest of the earth.

    Isaiah 13:9-11

You mentioned something about this next passage, the order of the firstfruits?:

"...they that are Christ's at His coming. (shall be made alive) Then COMETH THE END, when He shall have DELIVERED UP THE KINGDOM TO GOD, even the Father; WHEN HE SHALL HAVE PUT DOWN ALL RULE and all authority and power."

    1 Cor. 15:22-24

And why does Jesus hand over HIS kingdom to the Father on the SAME DAY that He returns? BECAUSE IT WAS HIS KINGDOM from the time of the Cross until His return. He does NOT hand it over 1,000 years AFTER His return.

There is more to the law then what meets the eye....Like the man legion that broke all the chains and fetters to pieces

The CHAINS AND FETTERS WERE LAWS AND COMMANDMENTS..That humanity breaks easily...Even tho they were strong as iron

But chains and fettters cd not tame the beast in humanity... Romans 8 : 3 ..What the law cd not do in that it weak thru the flesh,..God had to send his son in the form of sinful flesh to condemn SIN in the flesh...The Chains and fetters cd not tame the

the man legion...And his name was legion meaning many ( Humanity ) ...We break every law and commandment to pieces.

...The man was living in the tombs and was naked....Thats us we are naked and living in the tombs under the law...Simply b/c the law said the soul that sinneth shall surely die and we all sin,...Thus we are living in the tombs ....But after that Jesus spoke to legion he was clothed and in his right mind...And he was cutting himself with the stones the twin tablets the law...Scripture says that many men tried to tame legion with Chains and fetters but he break the Chains and fetters...Thats Humanity that tries to tame the beast with in themselves, our old adamic nature is of Satan...As satan cannot be bound with laws and commandments...Chains and fetters

....Then legion wanted to be a disciple...But Jesus told him to go home to your friends and tells them how great things God has done for you..When Jesus spoke to him he was made Clean and clothed and in his right mind....We are not in our right minds till JESUS speaks to us....Its his Word that make us clean.... Romans 8 : 3 ...What the law cd not do in that it was weak thru the flesh God had to send his son to condemn sin in the flesh...There was nothin wrong with the chains and fetters...Laws and commandments...It was Legion that was possesed with devils....The 2000 swine are 2000 yrs of a great spritual famine coming...

As the 14 kine that was destroyed in Pharoahs dream was symbolic of a 14 yr famine...7 good 7 bad..k

    Hi Donna,

Amen. Thanks for sharing your experience with the Sabbath Day. I'm very happy to hear that you feel so good about following God's command to set 1 day aside to rest, pray, spend quality time with family, and all of the other things available to us on this day to regenerate your Spirit, and feel good about following God's loving commands.

God's Commandments are all good and just, and the Sabbath is such a wonderful gift. Once we begin to experience it, like you and I have, it becomes a habit, that is truly good for us, and comes with ongoing blessings that help to draw us closer to God.

    God Bless.

Please pray. I can't take the knowledge that GOD could do ANYTHING...at ANY point in time...He just chooses to not do what He chooses NOT in HIS will ...and the fact that He chooses in HIS will ..that which He chooses. That, for some, is a lifetime of abuses. Hidden from those who WOULD condemn...had Satan and HIS children ..not deceived them....Into beLIEvin'...that the victim is the perpetrator--antagonist to the accused. But washed up and used, poisoned and killed...ever so slowly...by way of the making ill. Over abd over...attacked by the beast's seed. And the LORD watched...yet He doth not heed...to the voice of the dead...the ones slowly dying. A life's tome of being hope-lead, only to end up in more crying. In vain--Icm trying...but The LORD wills who He wills to win...the one(s) who surreptitiously make ill. An enTIRE lifetime of being abused...GOD doesn't care...so why should YOU?

The Bible and specifically Jesus say many things about money, and no short response can fully cover this topic. All Christians need God's grace and wisdom to use money properly and to find repentance and forgiveness when we don't. I will start with what Jesus said about riches.

Matthew 13:22 Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.

In this verse riches (money in abundance) chokes the word when we rely on it to stand by us and shield us from the cares of the world more than we do God.

Riches are deceitful, because they will betray the promises we think we can trust them for at the moment we need it most. This is shown by the parable of the man who abundantly prospered on earth and stored up huge earthly provisions for the future, but the moment he set his heart on it he died as a fool in God's sight. He left it all to others without tasting any of the future he imagined he would gain from it and had to give an account for his soul to the God who had just called him a fool.

God is truthful, and promises to deliver even more than we ask or think when we trust Him based on His promises. When we do that, the Holy Spirit assures our hearts that He will never leave us when we need Him most. God cares for us apart from money, like He does the birds who daily get what they need without toiling their lives away for money or storing up the daily things they need in advance for the future. That is why in the Lord's prayer we say "Give us this day our daily bread" and we don't say "Give us this day more bread than we could ever eat in our lifetime".

In writing this I have to confess I need repentance and forgiveness for living many years as a Christian and not understanding what I just wrote. I have much more in common with the fool in the parable than I like, and I am trying to really take these words to heart before I give my account.
