The first 12 verses is rectrospect 13 through 28 is judgement, redemption and restoration.

Here we see where God says he created Israel, he also redeemed Israel and he will restore them! This section of scripture proves God is not done with Israel as some the Church has replaced Israel in receiving the promises given in the Old Testament or the promises given to Israel is actually to the church and not Israel.

Look at these verses! Isaiah 43:24-25.

24) "Thou hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou filled me with the fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast made me to serve with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thine iniquities."

25) I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins." )

Verse 25 says a lot! God stake his Great name on the restoration of Israel!

See Jeremiah 31:34-37.

That restoration and redemption doesn't depend on Israels faithfulness

Parallel these verses with Isaiah 43 and you will also discover the father and the son in the God head.

Chapter 43 vs 19-20-21. Kjv This is a vision. The owls are birds , the dragons r herds of animals. This is a similar vision in Zechariah we're he talks about what Jerusalem will look like after the 7 th trump is blown. In 43 that is almost the same vision. In the vision u will be standing on Gods Holy mountain. In the East looking down off his mountain u will see a River of fast moving stream. And the other side will be animals in herds. The ground around u will be nothing but sand and pebbles. The birds will come over u in flocks as far as u can see. Everything and ur self will feel Gods presence. To the East and a little north will be 2 hills with a beam of sun light through clouds shining down on them. That will be the mount of olives split into. As u turn and walk west u will start to walk then realize u can move without effort. Once u make it to the west of that holy mountain u will be able to see down below and it's like large blocks that fell out of the mountain. There will be a stream of water that comes from the south and comes close to bottom of that mountain. U will be given a desire to get down to it. There are trees growing next to the course of water. Willows. As u walk into this stream of water it never comes much higher than ur knees. Then the desire to drink the water overwhelms you. Then u drink. This is the vision all of Gods chosen r given. Who shall stand on Gods Holy mount. He who has a pure heart. This vision is not written other than in pieces. Only if u see this in vision will u know about what I left out. I'm looking for someone that has also seen this. Only he can fill in the blanks.

Sarah, I will pray for you.

Dear Lord Jesus, get Sarah out now! She needs You to rescue her from this abuser. Make a safe path for her to go by. Show her the "how" and "when" to go. Show her where she is to go to. Prevent the abuser from standing in her way, nor harming her again, nor following her when she leaves. Bring Sarah to the best place for her to get help for her immediate needs and long term needs as well. Sarah is asking to hear Your voice within her. Speak to her so plainly that she can be confident in You to take step after step after step until she is to the place You show her. Have mercy on Sarah and do a mighty work to remove her from this person and living situation swiftly. She is trusting You and we believe that You are truly trustworthy and mighty to save. Bless Sarah in this moment with Your deliverance.

I was reading this thread and was thinking of that very Scripture. It says that both body and soul can be destroyed. So perhaps the soul is not immortal but must be given immortality in the resurrection of the body. But then how do we explain Moses and Elijah appearing with Jesus when He was transfigured? This instance showed these men alive with bodies. So, perhaps when one dies, even though years or centuries pass, a person no longer is bound by time and so is immediately at the resurrection of our bodies and thus begins our eternal life in eternity. Maybe that is why Paul could say to be absent in this life is to be present with the Lord. We know that Paul had so much revelations, visions, and trips to heaven that he never disclosed to us. But perhaps these are why he could say what he said.

This is a very confusing topic and I cannot say for sure what happens after death. And I do not concern myself too much about it as I know it will be what it will be. Instead, I trust God and know that all of His judgments are right and true.

I like the scripture free has given and king David seems to suggest the same.

"But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me".

Here's a few of many scriptures that suggests we will be in Heaven.

Revelation 4:1-2. After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. 2) And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.

Revelation 4:4.

Revelation 4:10.

Revelation 5:1-3. Notice verse 3- "And no man in heaven", nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon." Not only are there people in Heaven and on earth here, but this is also before the tribulation!!

Revelation 5:13-14. And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.

There is several different views on whether we will be in heaven or not.

I'm not interested in going into that debate besides your question was "Will we see our loved ones in Heaven' and answering your question is most important.

If you go start reading at John 13 you see it was what is called The last supper on Pentecost in the upper room he was talking to his disciples and as you read on you see Jesus calling them by their names even Judas but there are other scriptures that say he chooses us we do not choose him or maybe it's he calls us. I know he told the king of Egypt for this cause I created you. What about Judas? Rev 21&22 holds the key to this mystery,(the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations) and God's word says, Who can know the mind of God, who can understand his ways or who can be his counselor. What about: What God has made crooked or straight no man can make straight or crooked respectively. So this verse is Jesus telling his disciples he choose them

I see we are saved from wrath but after we are saved we must work to obtain salvation in Christ Jesus and what if our works are more bad then good? there is speaking of those outside the gates as well. Why did Paul say strive toward the mark if just saying Jesus guarantees us eternal life there'd be no need to strive now would there or work, or obey,? What about we will be held accountable for every word we speak. This bible is a whole book that has to fit using every verse to be perfect knowledge to be the truth. We ask for safety and Your favor on them. We ask that their voice be heard and for changes that are truly good or our region of the world. We pray for our country that it will return to godliness through faith in You. Bring revival in such a way that people will be eager to come to hear Your words of life and realize their desperate need for You. We pray for workers for the harvest, send out those who can touch the hearts of those in unbelief with the gospel of You. Reform our churches in such a way that we can receive these new believers into a solid, Bible based fellowship that teaches the Word honestly and correctly and lives out the exhortations in Your Word to live out in godliness, love, and true faith.

I am do glad you are here with us on this site. I have been home these past two years due to covid and have not been to church fellowship as a result. I do see my pastor and his wife at intervals. (She is a good friend of mine). I see a few other friends at intervals, too. But I do not meet in groups due to my risk factors, primarily asthma that is exacerbated by viral infections. So finding this site has been such a blessing to me. I will pray for your mom and children.

Lord Jesus, Donna presents her mother and children to you today. Her mother knows You and we are thankful she does! Bring relief to her in her ailments, especially the nausea and constant pain. Uplift her spirits and give her faith to believe that You will indeed bring healing. Donna's children need Your salvation. We pray that You will being them to faith soon. How lovely it is when parents and children share a faith in You. Like me, Donna is desiring earnestly for the salvation of her children. We ask together that You will draw each of our children to You by Your Spirit. Cause them to desire to inquire about You from other believers and Your Word. Answer to their doubts and skepticism. Soften their hearts and bring Your truth into their souls. Send the right person to them to share the gospel and that they will receive it from this person you send. How Donna and I will rejoice when our children come to You for salvation and rejoice in Who You are. We ask these things in Your name, Jesus. Amen.
