Take heed that no man deceive you.

The deception has been laid, what will we be spared? There is a difference between God's wrath, org meaning; anger, wrath, passion; punishment, vengeance. and tribulation thlipsis meaning; persecution, affliction, distress. The beast will be given time to inflict tribulation on the saints in the world and overcome them, Revelation 13:5-7, as God gave Satan, Job 1:12 Job 2:6. Satan's last shot, because he knows his time is short, Revelation 12:12.

The adversary, with this deception, has manipulated scripture to have many believing the great tribulation and the wrath of God to be the same thing and will be spared going through it. This started developing in the 1700s, and what a deception, a beautiful picture of glorious colors of truth, masterfully painted on a canvas of lies. How many will be deceived by the miracles that will be done by the false prophet, Revelation 13:13-15, and fall away? Or those facing death, and who are overcome by the fear of death, take the mark.

A similar picture of what is to come has happened in the past. Decius/Decian persecution in 250 AD, a decree that Christians had to prove their loyalty to paganism and the emperor, ordered that sacrifices to idols be performed in the presence of a Roman magistrate. It was a signed and witnessed certificate issued. People had to perform a sacrifice to the Roman gods and the emperor.

A great number of Christians were put to death for refusing to perform the sacrifices, many others apostatized (falling away) and performed the ceremonies thinking they could still be a Christian in secret. Others went into hiding. The Decian persecution was the severest on Christians at that time and the loss suffered by the apostasy (falling away). What is coming will be more severe and worldwide.

Did God spare them? If not, should we be? Have we exalted ourselves more worthy? Are you ready, praying that our faith shall not fail, even if facing death?

    God bless,

    RLW

Everything before this verse was to the multitude 36Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

And everything after this verse was to the disciples until verse 53 then he speaks with several different peoples. are you trying to see if he is speaking to us? That's an excuse some people use to justify sin or not obeying what Jesus said which is sin. Let us be clear when Jesus speaks it's to all of us or an example to all of us and the things he says to our Commandments, God does not ask he commands Even more Paul said the things the Apostles said to are the Commandments of God. people don't want to sell all they have and give to the poor then follow Jesus they want to keep it so of course Jesus was just speaking to that one person but Jesus said: Matthew 19:29

"And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life."

The last time i checked everyone meant everyone back then and today? We see in Acts believers selling all that they had and owned and giving at the Apostles feet and to the church. Of cousrse you can say in the Greek! it means but no one NO ONE speaks the Greek that was spoken 2000 years ago that's another excuse they use God gave us his word in English the way he wanted it to be and to read and say. The 1769 KJV and there is only 1 reason why you'd change it, you disagree with God's word because you can't live up to what it says to do and be and live. Go to the top of this site hit MORE then the bible introductions 1611 and 1796 it will show you how and by who and what was use to translate it and an incite into what the times were like then

Hello Mary, I believe Jesse is correct. Even though this KJV doesn't have quotation marks, it appears when someone is being quoted the first letter of the beginning of the quote is capitalized. The evidence for this is with other verses being that same way.

Here a couple examples of Jesus being quoted:

The entire Nation of Israel did I mean that the whole beginning of Israel and why they are God's chosen people. Have you read the Bible? sure you can read about how travelers could join Israel but they must follow the law and customs of Israel, hey has no one told you as a believer that you need to read the Bible and like a 1000 times. What if i was a doctor and I ask you hey does blood flow thru our veins, see what I'm saying. As a christian you are called to be a witness of Jesus so how if you don't know His word. 2corinthians 13:12 Study to show thyself approved you can go read the rest of it.

    Colossians 4:6

"Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man."

    Romans 15:4

"For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope."

2Timothy3:16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

My favorite scriptures are: And the word became flesh and dwelt among us and Low, i come in a volume of a book it is written of me. Read a KJV bible it's Jesus get to know Jesus.

Poor thing and honestly what most people think they know is gossip not gospel. they just repeat what was taught to them. There weren't people back then, your kidding right. maybe you should study history there is actual proof of it documented and it includes Chistian's the Greeks, Hebrews, Israel, Jewish people and nations, ruins of them as well all which line up with the Bible. Go travel to the middle east and see it. Like Jesus told Thomas stick your hand in my side and the holes in my hand if you don't believe I rose from the dead thus the saying: doubting Thomas was born, two things (1) it's faith, faith in things you can see is not faith, faith is believing of the unseen, like God, you say you believe in God, well guess what so does satan and it will no more help satan then it will you. Hebrews 11:1

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

Ok (2) 2 Corinthians 13:12 Study to show thyself approved unto God and not your family study and then tell you, got that now look here John 14:26

"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." and

Now one is anointed by the Holy Ghost 1 John 2:27

"But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him."

Did you read that, (and ye not that any man teach you)

If you believe in God then read the Bible, read it like any other book, like a history book and learn what it says, about the people places and events that took place it has amazing accounts in it of real men and their lives and journeys

I can testify that people believe some dumb things about the Bible, Jesus called them traditions of men and fables Good luck

How wonderful are His ways past finding out. Everyday though confronted with the evil and faithlessness of a world out of control. Satan believing he has the same omniscience, omnipresence that God the Father has. We , Adoring the father through the Son is the power we have in this world. Those who ,Denying the Christ will never succeed proving nothing less then the weakness of a made up God! An Idol, made up in the minds of those who are lost in space and time, and if they do not repent will find their place in eternal darkness! Be not dismayed by the signs of the times, these that written for our learning! Satan has no power then that given by God! His servants are those who honor and worship the Lord Jesus Christ!

If you click on the icon MORE there is introductions to the KJV 1611 and 1769 both are KJV one is earlier, but the actual translators explain the process they used to determine which books were to be included and excluded and why. They are lengthy and very detailed (17pg) and give you incite into that period of time in Christian history. Everyone who has doubts or issues with the authenticity or accuracy of the KJV Bible must read this. Listen to me the other 900+ versions of the bible cannot come close in comparison and the Indepth use of transcripts (27) research, and diligence in prayer by more renown men of God. The other versions are to me like as a #1 hit song sung at karaoke

Followers of Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch: The perverse mixing of idol worship, sacrificing to idols of food and perverse sex acts combined after He was one of the 7 who were of Stephen appointed to wait tables to serve the widows in the church he is mentioned in Acts 6:5 Paul wrote that some who were of us went out from among us.

    Smith's Bible Dictionary

    Nicolaitans:

(followers of Nicolas) a sect mentioned in Revelation 2:6; 2:15 whose deeds were strongly condemned. They may have been identical with those who held the doctrine of Balaam. They seem to have held that it was lawful to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit fornication, in opposition to the decree of the Church rendered in Acts 15:20; 15:29. The teachers of the Church branded them with a name which expressed their true character. The men who did and taught such things were followers of Balaam ( 2 Peter 2:15; Jude 1:11). They, like the false prophet of Pethor, united brave words with evil deeds. In a time of persecution, when the eating or not eating of things sacrificed to idols was more than ever a crucial test of faithfulness, they persuaded men more than ever that was a thing indifferent ( Revelation 2:13-14). This was bad enough, but there was a yet worse evil. Mingling themselves in the orgies of idolatrous feasts, they brought the impurities of those feasts into the meetings of the Christian Church. And all this was done, it must be remembered not simply as an indulgence of appetite: but as a part of a system, supported by a "doctrine," accompanied by the boast of a prophetic illumination ( 2 Peter 2:1). It confirms the view which has been taken of their character to find that stress is laid in the first instance on the "deeds" of the Nicolaitans. To hate those deeds is a sign of life in a Church that otherwise is weak and faithless ( Revelation 2:6). To tolerate them is well nigh to forfeit the glory of having been faithful under persecution ( Revelation 2:14-15).

Numbers 16 gives the account of Korah seems he gather renown men to go against Moses and Arron God separated Moses and his men and then destroyed Korah and those who were with him. Maybe that Korah pulled a Lucifer on Moses and thought Moses lifted himself up not God and he and his contingent was holier than Moses was. Maybe it's warning to others of this act of rebellion against God

One I don't believe eternity is in heaven the Bible doesn't teach it but I often wonder if our lost family members will be remembered by us? I think heaven will be about the worship of God and the lamb Rev 22 is a must read in understand eternity this verse is the key to God's real plan for the world, Revelation 22:2

"In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations."

Isn't that amazing and it puts into perspective every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord. One other verse the great Chistian minds never interpret or notice is said twice, Once in the beginning in Rev 1 and again in the end in Rev 22, Revelation 1:3

"Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand."

    Revelation 22:7

"Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book."

So rather questions of these why don't focus on scriptures as these and seek what we are to keep and do. What are those things we are to keep that are written in Revelations? See what heaven will be won't add to you salvation but keeping what God tells us will

Does the Christian lifestyle evolve because the world has and what did Paul mean by not to be entangled in the pollutions of the world after you are saved? 2 Peter 2:20

"For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning."

I don't have a church home or anyone to pray with so all prayers in agreement are totally desired.

My mom has suffered from pain for so long. She also suffers from severe dehabilitating nausea always and we don't know why. Plus she's not feeling good this week. She loves the Lord and has been saved about 30 years. I thank God for her. He has done a marvelous work in her and in our family through her! Please pray for healing AND revelation.

And then there's my kids! Please pray for my kids. God is moving in their hearts. God knows exactly what they need to have hope and a future in Him. I only ask that they are saved when they stand before God in the judgment. So whatever it takes Lord. That we will all be there and hear the words enter inthere's no way I can make it without the blood of Jesus.

Thank you. I pray for you and your requests also. One person cannot work these boards alone it takes everyone of us that God has called. Lord bless and strengthen every person who has a heart to pray for others today.

Love, peace & blessings in Christs name amen

    Hello Jerry,

It is my understanding that what Jesus meant by "this generation will not pass away until all these things be fulfilled" we need to understand the verses that are before and after Matthew 24:34 is Jesus providing a prophecy of future events. Once the signs of the end begin to be observed, the end is well on the way-then Jesus coming and the judgment will occur within that last generation.

Jesus tells us what to look for in a parable here: Matthew 24:32-33 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: 33So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

When these signs happen "the generation on earth at this time" will experience the end times.

    God Bless

Who are the sons of Korah and why are many of the psalms written to them?
  • Wascome - 4 years ago
Most of the important stuff in psalms prophets and minor prophets r visions that r written down. Also revelation is a vision. If u understand this. That Eli is God and his children. First age. Jah. Is Christ in second age and he left his spirit here after his death. U r farther along than most. Before he died on cross his spirit was given by him or angels. He appeared to Abraham and left him him spirit , then it was passed to his son. Then to Jacob then to his grand sons. And so on. After his death anyone who seeks him and the truth he will send his spirit. Holy Spirit. (Eli. God)(jah Christ became flesh son of man. Son) after his death his spirit is left in the earth. As satans spirit is here also. So now we have the father , son and the Holy Spirit. There all one and the same. The Bible wasn't written for just anyone to pick up and understand. Only the laws. And the laws r what u live by. Read psalm 1. That's the whole answer. The law. First 5 pertains to God last 5 to others like yourself.

I believe that not only did Jesus pay for our sins in His Atonement, but that He was also beaten for our healing - by His Stripes. Matthew 8:16-17 He healed all that were sick and cast out all the devils with His Word as also stated in Acts 10:38

In Mark 9 the spirit could not be cast out because of their unbelief.

All things are possible with God. It is us that are limited by what we believe God would or would not do. If we are not ready to help in season or out of season then we would not be able to help when needed or if we have to go and fast for awhile.

Think about it - When was the Word of God not sufficient or faith in His Name not sufficient to accomplish the purpose to which it was sent. Jesus says speak the Word only and Believe!

Jesus was complete in everything! SOZO! Let's bring up our faith and our trust in Him to accomplish His word as we believe in Him!

Humbly, Let us also say with tears, Lord. I believe, help thou my unbelief!

    Mark 9:24

May God bless us richly and may He bless you and your family Indeed!!!
