Further thoughts on the Rapture as it pertains to those left behind.

In truth; there will be great regret undoubtably for many left behind after the Rapture. In light of Psalm 40 and verses which promise that the Jews will be provoked to jealousy ( Romans 11:14; although perhaps taken out of context) my previous post meant to show that such a shock may be necessary; to jump start the 144,000 the remnant of Jews who finally realize we were right after all. The fact is when the Restrainer is removed everyone will realize how the Lord had used His body of believers to bring some solace and order in their lives. Like it or not; things will get WAY worse then we can imagine almost overnight.

It is hard to fathom just how much believers affect all facets of society until they are removed. I need to point out that MANY who consider themselves Christians will be left behind if I am understanding scripture correctly. If not there couldn't be the "Mystery Babylon" false church that is alluded to in the beginning of Revelation and expanded in later chapters in both and economic and spiritual realm. It is pretty clear that anyone who is a true believer after the Rapture will be persecuted (as I see it beginning with the false church and later on from Antichrist himself). At that time there will be a true manifestation of signs and wonders through the two witnesses; and of course demonic imitations will commence with the False Prophet along with false christs.

It appears that the incense of the prayers of the saints mentioned in Revelation could be something that the glorified saints are involved with as it would seem that as John saw all that was happening we will also. It is certain that we will return at Armageddon as part of His army. Jesus of course does all the work; we as Psalm 91:8 indicates will only see the destruction of the wicked. It appears that we will also see those souls under the altar ( Rev. 6:10) who are petitioning God.

    Be ready.

How to be politically correct about the Rapture.

"I hope the Lord waits until my kids grow up; get married; etc."

"I hope the Lord lets me stay until (so and so) becomes a Christian"

"I'll show 'em; let me be one of the 144,000; or hang out afterwards it can't be that bad at the start..."

The facetious dialogues suggested above are more are less a compilation of several arguments BELIEVERS have given in my presence in the past when this subject came up. Let us examine them in light of the scriptures...

First point; in heaven there will be no regret as far as "missing out" on anything this earth had to offer. That is; unless we have squandered the opportunity NOW to witness and do those things which forfeited rewards in light of the admonitions of Revelation 3:11. Our children will be where their angels are already "beholding the Father in heaven continually." ( Matt. 18:10).

The second argument assumes that God is somehow derelict in His duty to bring the "fullness of the Gentiles in" ( Romans 11:25) which in truth may not occur completely at the Rapture but before the Second Coming. Nonetheless; the multitudes that come to Christ that can't be counted may never have come at least as quickly without the fiery trials the Lord designed to purge out the dross during the Tribulation. ( Revelation 7:9). We should also appreciate the fact in verses such as Psalm 40 which states "many will see and fear" (verse 3). This seems to indicate with the surrounding verses we will be raptured/resurrected from the ground; SURELY the Resurrection of the saints cannot be explained away and will be common knowledge (even if they say the UFO's abducted those raptured it's harder to explain those already deceased).

The third point is that even in the seal judgments there is a direct opening of these seals by Christ Himself with a fourth of the earth dying (at least) at that time. No one can outplan or outwit God in saving provisions for that time (see James 5:3).

Our GOD is great and greatly to be praised! There is no circumstance or situation that our SAVIOR JESUS cannot handle.

It may not be our timing or our method; but the LORD'S way is always best.

May we press on and seek to learn more of our LORD and KING through scripture.

GOD bless all on this forum. I pray that everybody had a peaceful time in CHRIST name during Christmas. Have a happy New Year everyone!

"The worlds were framed by the word of God" (He.11:3)

The worlds framed by the Word make the kingdom of God a closed system. Heaven and the earth are two worlds.

The Spirit while organizing the two worlds gives us a face, which is neither heaven nor the earth. The Spirit of God moved 'upon the face of the waters' which establishes the spiritual plane so the sun to give light upon the earth can also serve as a sign. By the same token where the Spirit would set the fall of man the same spiritual plane serves the setting for the Garden of Eden. When the angel is sent to preach the everlasting gospel ("to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,-Re.14:6) it is the same. This face or mid-air is not to be confused with the sky but to the father Son relationship with regards to the quote from the Hebrews mentioned above. It stands in relation to the spiritual space signified by the heart. God formed all hearts alike for this reason. What is knowable of God is made manifest. So there is no excuse. God placed man and woman in the Garden of Eden. There was only one Law which Adam failed to keep.

    Adam, Moses and Jesus Christ

God has by a decree given his Son the authority to execute the Law. This is how the sound and sign of the word of God works in tandem. "I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee./Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession".(Ps.2:7-8)

How the Holy Ghost the third office in Trinity has chosen to present the Lord God is from the Father Son relationship. Thus God commands, 'Let there be light" And it was so. This light is a sign. He is the true Light.

The Lord shall plug up the leaking of waters that Proverb mentions like a barrel when contention brews up that no lovers may hurt each other anymore. A wise man as well as a wise woman shall hold their peace mastered by His Holy Spirit to hold in check the tongue so they can speak like Song of Solomon once again. Amen.

The Lord applies the healing balm to the harmed, He applies the bandages to the wounded even in their spirits that they may rise again. The World may think life is perma damaging to reword it, but He will replenish the family of His chosen with more than ever as Job who lost his plus other riches to regain them twice more. Amen.

    After Christ was born...

Today is according to tradition the day after Christ's birth (despite evidence His birth wasn't in the winter). At some point shortly after His birth; the angel gave the warning to Joseph to flee as Herod began his slaughter of all male children 2 and under. Later after Herod was dead then Joseph was told to go back and eventually settled back in Nazereth to fulfill another prophecy (read Matthew 2:13-23).

We then see nothing except the general statement that Jesus grew in wisdom and stature until his brief account of speaking at 12 years old at Passover in the account of Luke 2. It would appear that indeed only a few (including Herod) were aware of this miraculous birth at first glance since there weren't people coming in droves to find him. Since Herod persecuted and killed so many children it probably would be knowledge to some as to WHY he did this; although he may have said something about a usurper being born to compete for him on the throne rather than saying he was trying to kill who they considered their Messiah.

In any event clearly Mary and Joseph were able to blend in so that Jesus was not that recognizable even into adolescence.

We may not understand why Christ had to remain more or less hidden until the sudden public appearance beginning His ministry after the 40 days of temptation in the wilderness at age 30. Surely the example of service to his family and living a perfect and righteous life is demonstrated. I would surmise that He was "prayed up" knowing the frenetic pace and intensity of what was coming for that 3 1/2 year ministry well ahead of time and had great lengths of time to pray alone. We can surmise that He spent that time preparing His family financially to have enough to survive once He had to leave for the ministry the Lord gave Him. John the Baptist apparently wasn't even aware until the Spirit came down as to WHO the Son of God was ( Luke 3:22).

Christ never flaunted His glory on Himself.

The LORD GOD is praised and magnified in everything HE does. Let us worship HIM in truth and in spirit.

Just as in the materials used in the tabernacle, in GOD'S hands everything is good and precious in HIS sight. The worst sinner, who I am, when confessed and repented according to scripture will be a "pearl of great price" in the hands of my SAVIOR GOD.

    1 Corinthians 1:

    27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:

29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.

As the time of the LORD'S return is imminent, may we be encouraged and diligent in our desire to praise the LORD and declare the gospel to as many as we can.

The LORD to shine HIS face and bless each of us gloriously as we faithfully await HIM. May our hearts and mind continually stay on JESUS, that we may be at peace because our mind is stayed on our GOD. Isaiah 26: 3, 4

Happy New Year brethren. As we pray for the peace in Jerusalem, and the ministries of the LORD around the world. May we be found faithful to stand in the gap and make up the hedge as the LORD requires for the land to be blessed. Ezekiel 22:30

Please bring peace, happiness, safety, joy, good health, and comfort over my family, especially my children. My daughter's 2yr old son, Asher, drowned this September. My 18 yr old son is hanging around with ppl who are involved in bad things. And I am afraid he is doing drugs to cope with the pain in his heart. We also were physically, mentally and emotionally abused for 17 years by the one man who is supposed to protect, provide and support his family. I also ask for prayer that the courts finally decide his money isn't enough for them to keep letting him get away with the abuse he has put us through and hold him accountable and gets us the help we have been asking for. And that no one else gets hurt at the hands or mind of this man

Hello, I am happy to say that my friends dogs are now well and have been cleared by the vet.

God showed them compassion and his tender care. Makes me think of how he cares for the sparrow that falls and all the animals who need food, which He supplies in His workings in the world to bring forth harvest in due time.

Hello Abuzby. I think you're referring to the small black character mark at the beginning of some verses, mainly found in the older editions of the KJB.

This mark was placed by the printers and is called a 'pilcrow'. It can be used for various reasons, but chiefly to indicate the start of a new paragraph or thought in the narrative. I believe MSWORD might still show it within their selection of various text styles. Anyway, you could do a search for 'pilcrow' & learn more about its origin & uses.

It is good to amongst brethren in CHRIST. To be encouraged and exhorted to continue on in the service to the LORD and not to give up as the coming of the LORD JESUS is imminent.

Let us continue to pray for the peace in Jerusalem; for the needs of the ministries; for the lost souls and especially for the wisdom of our leadership. May they find the salvation of the LORD JESUS CHRIST to guide their decisions and give praise to GOD.

Merry Christmas everyone and a prosperous New Year in 2024.

Any many more scriptures to help us to grow in HIM.

Merry Christmas to all the brethren, the LORD to shine HIS glorious face upon us.

GOD to be magnified in our hearts and mind as we go forward carrying out HIS will. Let's be the person the LORD is looking for ...30 And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.

31 Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord GOD.

    Isaiah 9

    .

6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

    Luke 2

10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

I was just wondering why in the King James Bible some of the verses start with a half moon and I? It isn't necessarily when God or Christ is speaking and my Bible offers no explanation.

GOD is praised in us when we are set to glorify HIM as HE directs us. In the things we do in HIM and how we direct our material wealth and use it to worship the LORD CHRIST.

May our walk in HIM be precious as the tabernacle is shown to be. The outer covering not much to look at; but the inside is beautiful beyond compare. Our life be as Philip in Acts 8: 26 able to tell others of the gospel of the LORD JESUS.

Thank YOU FATHER for this day of worship and time of celebration

    Luke 2:10 - 18

11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

    Isaiah 9

6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Many are saying we as believers should not be involved in this "pagan" ritual; however, we should use this as an opening to declare our SAVIOR GOD JESUS CHRIST who is no longer a babe.

    Titus 2:

    13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Praying for the peace in Jerusalem and the Godly wisdom needed in DC and all levels and areas of our nation.

    Ephesians 6:10-18 may we recognize..

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Merry Christmas everyone, and a prosperous New Year in 2024.
