Can you be so [friendly and look at the pages here so you can find out : ). And be blessed with words from Matthew chapter 1. In the Holy Name of Jesus Christ. Amen
I love it, he said, "he who is without sin"__
and everybody had to walk away.
I fail at things often. Then I pray immediately. It gets my mind back on Jesus and relying on his forgiveness and freedom. I sliced the top of my thumb earlier and boy did it bleed!
Last week was full of warfare. I musta done something right? Lol. Kinda like Peter. He admits he believes Jesus is the Son of God one minute; next minute the devil stirs him up to tempt Jesus to rely on their protection instead of Father.
It's for rest and fellowship with the Holy Spirit.
Sometimes I sing to Him, and He sings with me.
I pray in the car sometimes.
We need to also crack open the Bible and read everyday. The Word inside your heart and mind is very valuable too.
You are a disciple of Jesus. He may need your strength and Bible knowledge to help a woman that's going through a trial.
That's why the scriptures say not to forsake assembling together. We're there to edify the Saints. Lord knows these days everyone can be lifted up in the spirit of their minds.
What a wonderful blessing you are!
Yet 1 John 3:7-10 reveals the two-faced 'Christian': having every appearance of serving God, but has sin dominating his life; living carelessly & not carefully.
There's a box up above called TESTIMONIES
that are how people came to be a Christian. Very insightful
It helps to study the Bible so you can answer some of the questions people ask us. Like, how do you ask Jesus to save you?
Or why does bad things happen to good people?"
If they want to tear down the church and rant about how mean God is, you can excuse yourself if you want to. (I have a doctor appt at 3pm). If the Holy Spirit is not dealing with that person__sometimes our short conversation will harden their hearts. Be sensitive.
- I pray that Rachel finds her faith, as well as her entourage, her love and her zeal for God, goes to church, serves and is well, that she loves us, trusts us and heals, that we stay in contact, may the Lord restore all marriages, remarry us, work miracles in our lives, fast as much as possible, never harden us, lie, smoke, sin or be adulterous, to find a job, deliver us from fear, from worldliness, to fast as much as possible, to strengthen ourselves, not to put ourselves under yokes, not to let ourselves be judged, to find discipline, to be happy, to wait three months, to expatriate ourselves, to confess our healings, to have good seasons, to succeed a teaching competition and my studies/exams/a master's, the 4 semesters, to be better in English, to redo internships, to give thanks, to manage emotions and stress, to grow with Christ, not to hide things or to be oppressed and to be independent. May he bless our finances and break our ties, give us support and families, find strength and rest!! May the Lord bless and save our authorities, our directions, the Bible institutes, the rectorates, the universities and that the laws/programs/secularism change, lower the cost of living, have good grades, fast in the evening, that we may speak, pray in tongues more than others, be always cheerful, let everyone honor his parents, let every man be slow to speak, quick to listen and slow to get angry, listen to us, not be rejected or bullied, don't hate or have arguments, eat good things, go to Mcdo, don't discredit us, let people visit us, recover and heal from insomnia, intercede, may the Lord make our ways smooth and confirm prophecies , dreams, visions and dreams!! Help us with the deserts and to pray for each other!! I pray that the Lord will unite and reconcile our loved ones (parents/grandparents, siblings, friends, neighbors, wife...), that they be saved, baptized in the Holy Spirit, as well as our promotions, that they go to churc
We know that the early Church met together on the first day of the week (Sunday), but even if they didn't & continued to observe the Sabbath as both a rest & worship day, then they would have to place themselves under the demands of the Law (the whole Law) & by that Law be judged. What happens if they (or, you & me), fail to fully observe the Sabbath? What happens if suddenly we are required to get some work done, and without thinking, we break the Sabbath? How does God forgive us when we're under the Law? We can't say "we'll observe the Law & if we mess up, then God will forgive us through Christ". It doesn't work like that, because Jesus has "redeemed us from the curse of the law" (curse = death & separation from God is the finality of the Law): Galatians 3:13. One cannot be under the Law & in Christ at the same time - Truths that oppose each other.
If Saturday is to be observed as a worship day (or, any day of the week), then it should be of choice or convenience and not because of a Sabbath significance. Romans 14:5,6b: "One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it."
They've suffered some devastating tsunamis in past history.
I pray for them. I know it's hard to uproot and move away. I've done it 22 times. Home is where Jesus lives; and I carry Him in my heart everywhere.
The heart of the Lord is Mercy.
the man God turn to an animal
Yet, you might be thinking of a person's particular suffering or sickness (e.g. Job - which was a specific instance of God's Permission given to Satan to test Job's character & faithfulness; & maybe God stills allows this today- I can't tell). Yet we also know that God does discipline His child who wilfully continues in sin, not receiving correction ( Hebrews 12:5-11; Revelation 3:19; 1 Corinthians 11:32; Psalm 94:12,13). But His discipline comes in various ways & degrees of severity, as a father would mete out to his erring child. So the bottom line could be expressed as: if we were NOT sinners, living in all purity & holiness before God, there would be no physical sickness coming upon us, nor would there be need for any correction or discipline by God or man. But we should be cautious in trying to interpret every sickness or hardship being the result of some spiritual or moral failing - not always, but sometimes - each one will know in his heart from whence this comes.
The Holy Spirit in us will manifest good things in us by His choice and power. Asking for Him to direct our lives and work through us will bring an awareness of how He manifests in us as we interact in the Body of Christ (the Church).
1 Corinthians 14, Leviticus 19:18,34, Deuteronomy 6:5, Deuteronomy 7:7,9,13, Matthew 5:44,46,
It seems that there have been maybe 6000 years of recorded history from Adam to know. Genesis tells us that day and night began verse 3 (Day 1) But we do not know how much time elapsed between Genesis verse 1 and 3. Time did begin with creation, as any movement requires time (rotation of planets, burning of gases in a sun for example).
Romans 1:20 tells us that there is a revelation of God in nature. And Scripture is His revelation as well.
So, things that are discovered in science is part of this natural revelation, but science is not as exacting in this topic as the age of the earth because it was not directly observed by humans. Time was not recorded before humans were created and kept track of the days and seasons. So, we can certainly inquire of science what is theorized and also found in artifacts. many of the things concerning space, laws of nature, and age of things is presented by way of mathematical calculations and physics. Way beyond my comprehension for sure. But, even so, I am glad that there are curious and intellectually brilliant people who delve into these things. Think of Galileo and Copernicus who proved that the earth was a sphere, not flat, and that the earth rotates and orbits around the sun. Many religious top dogs of their day condemned their ideas, but these have been proven true after all.
The Scriptures is not a history or science book. It is God's revelation to mankind for us to know He exists and what He has done, said, and promised. It is our manual for salvation, not our science text to explain all of the mysteries of the created world.
Within the context of spiritual revelation and natural revelation, there is a vast amount of knowledge in both that we will never discover in this age. In the resurrection, we will know so much more, but even then, we will never know all that God knows nor all there is to know about Him. Yet we will know what He deems is needed for us to be eternally satisfied.
And feel it's the only true version
I was saved at 12 years old
And grew up in a missionary Baptist
Chuuch
Aboutv12 to 13 years ago I read and heard that how do your tell the difference between a false prophet and a true prophet
It in the Bible
So I read the Bible entirely the kjv
But after that I started reading one chapter a day in the spirit of god
And when I get Thur it I start it again
It takes a little over 3 years
I am now. Starting it the 5 time
And Lear something different each time
No the Bible does not change
I just learn it better thru Jesus Christ
I believe Jesus Christ can to earth in human
Fully God and fully human meaning he felt all the things as we humans
He came to earth to establish Christianity not a religion
To suffer fir our sins and pay the debt
For our sins
I read the kjv many times
And Jesus choose the deciples
I believe Jesus isachiort was not the. Devil
The devil on enterered him at the lords supper so the scriptures may be fullfilled
All the deciples asked is it I
Jesus said it was the one who dipped his hand in the bowl and immediately
Statan entered Judas
And for 3o pieces of silver
But Judas did not realize what the Pharisees had in plan
Judas repented returned the 3o pieces of silver back but they would accept
It he threw it bac at them and left
And hung himself as he could not live with himselit fir betrayal of Jesus
And hung himself
And it does not take long for the body
Deteriorate
And just a few days it Deteriorates
Deuteronomy 28:1-14, Exodus 23:25, Matthew 4:23,
Luke 9:55-56,
Jeremiah 32:27, Jeremiah 32:17, Luke 1:37,
Hopefully these are helpful
God has a reason and a purpose for allowing the sin to happen in the first place and for all that has happened in history, right/wrong; wonderful/terrible; and in between.
this makes me think of the little song that we often teach to children in Sunday School, Trust and Obey.
Your question reminds me of Romans 9:22-24
"What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory, even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles"
Scripture does give some hints at why God created anything in the first place, but I think much of this why is hid in the unsearchable depths of His wisdom. Yet, we are told in Scripture that He created all things for His pleasure and for His glory.
It is impossible for us to come to know all that God is or the why of His actions. But through His revelation to us in His Word we have learned many things about Him. It is common to describe God according to attribute, which just tell us aspects of His Being. We know He is all powerful, all knowing, present everywhere, eternal, infinite, holy, perfect, pure, and many others.
Before creation, God existed eternally already as three persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) in one Being (Godhead). In this Godhead, He was completely satisfied, loved, and harmonious, in need of nothing to make Him more perfect than He always has been. However, in the Godhead, there was not a reason to show mercy, grace, power, wrath, justice, compassion, providence, etc. because there was no sin or lack of anything within the Trinity for these aspects of His Being to be utilized. By creating the universe and all beings in heaven and on earth-people, and creatures, and plants, He exercises these aspects of His Being. In all He does, His glory shows. So, again, although God does not need anything outside of Himself to be satisfied, He created as an expression of Who He has always been and will always be.
I do suggest that you pose this question on the internet and read up on it. It is a fascinating subject and a post on here just does not do it justice.
Do you think you could all have them open site themselves?
* may encourage them to seek GOD & read The WORD on their own.
* by showing them this site, they may have questions they wouldn't want to directly ask you, but may ask here.
* some or most may not be aware this site even exists. Maybe you can teach them how to use it, together.
* there is even a trivia that you could use as game.
* you save ink, paper & printing
* you show trust when you let them use device / phones during Youth Group
* it might even bring some people together by sharing with others who don't have a phone.
* did you know you can also plug your PC, Gaming Consoles into a television with the right plug-in cords.
Hopefully these are helpful.
I think people obey civil laws for various reasons. You have stated some in your post. I know many people who are not Christians who obey civil laws or behave decently and they comment that it is just the right thing to do. I think that this reflects that knowledge of right and wrong has been written in our consciences by God whether we are believers or not. Some people have an inborn personality tendency that bends toward challenging rules and authority and others have an inborn personality tendency to be compliant. I've worked around very young children and infants all of my adult life and have observed these differences in children even in infancy/toddlerhood. My three sons were of the compliant group and parenting them was very easy. But I have a few nieces who were so challenging even from infancy. Upbringing does have some influence on these personality tendencies, it seems.
I have known many non believers who are very kind, giving, courteous, and morally upright in the way they live their lives. I have also known some who were believers from a young age brought up in a believing home who went on to be rebellious, law breaking, risk taking, and contrary in their teen and young adult years. So, perhaps it is best not to stereotype people's behaviors by their spiritual state.
God, by His unsearchable wisdom, created each of us individually and placed in our natural personalities certain traits and tendencies. He alone knows the plans He has for each person and He alone brings things to fruition in each of us according to His purpose and will.
For us who know the Lord, we should care to be godly in our lives both in private and publicly. It is always good for us to do so. Our godly life can attract some who are are pleased with how we live our lives, knowing they can trust us to do what is right around them; and it will repel others who feel convicted by our lifestyle or prefer to hang with those who disobey
