excerpt from Destiny Dreams ,and Visions

    Little by Little

Little by little, the Jews went to the promised land.

They were all safe in the masters hand's.

Little by little they took ground.

The walls of Jericho fell with a glorious sound.

Little by little he works inside of me.

When we walk with him he sets us free.

Two steps forward one step back.

Little by little with Jesus were right on track.

Little by little as water falls on the earth.

It shapes, and molds, and gives life birth.

Little by little we give our prayers to heaven.

They come back down we grow as leaven.

When you stumble ,and fall down.

Think of the rain, and reach for the crown.

Little by little our prayers reach above.

Step by step we grow with the fathers love.

Little by little he works inside of me.

Little by little I am set free.

The path moves forward two steps at a time.

On a journey to heaven, and the sublime.

Little by little my head is like solid rock.

Little prayers begin to shape my thoughts.

Little by little the spirit grows inside of me.

Because of Jesus I am set free.

    Wesley's Notes for Romans 16:1

16:1 I commend unto you Phebe - The bearer of this letter. A servant - The Greek word is a deaconness. Of the church in Cenchrea - In the apostolic age, some grave and pious women were appointed deaconnesses in every church. It was their office, not to teach publicly, but to visit the sick, the women in particular, and to minister to them both in their temporal and spiritual necessities.

This is a theological idea of deaconess as it is said that Phebe was a deaconess that is not translated from the Greek word because it is a lie. The epistle, which Apostle Paul wrote about Phebe who was not a deaconess that does not come from the Greek word. This is the men's theological concepts that are not what Apostle Paul was addressing to the churches because the theological men didn't exist in Apostle Paul's ancient life which means since 2000 years after the resurrection of Jesus Christ. We are Americans who don't have to learn the Greek language because we are not born in Greece except those are willing to learn the Greek. Just like Apostle Paul addressed the epistle to the churches according to the scriptures of

    1 Corinthians 14:10-11 KJV

[10] There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification. [11] Therefore if I know not the meaning of the voice, I shall be unto him that speaketh a barbarian, and he that speaketh shall be a barbarian unto me.

The Holy Bible Edition 1611 is not the Book of theology, but the it is the Word of God according to the scriptures of Hebrews 4:12 KJV [12] For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The theological men and women, who don't have the baptism of the Holy Ghost, are not of 1 Corinthians 11:1 KJV

[1] Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

You replied to me recently that I do think that women completed the works of devices mentioned in your posts over the centuries and still do in many churches. Perhaps the early church did not call them deaconesses formally, but the name was eventually given to women who do this type of service. In NT times and in many cultures it is inappropriate for a man to minister in such ways to women. It is doubtful a man would be a mid-wife or doula in NT times, but a women in a church fellowship would do such service. And it was unlikely in NT or in some cultures that a man would tend to a sick women or child, nor dress their wounds, bath them, nor cool and clean for a women taken to bed. So, women in the church took on these roles, and ministered to women and children as helpers and teachers.

You don't get me wrong about the services or works of women's ministry because you can say whatever you want to believe and proclaim women's cultures in their churches anywhere, but there is the only ONE ministry even as the apostles' doctrine of our Lord Jesus Christ according to the scriptures of Acts 2:42 KJV [42] And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

    1 Corinthians 1:10 KJV

[10] Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

    Romans 16:17-18 KJVS

[17] Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. [18] For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

    Ephesians 4:5 KJV

[5] One Lord, one faith, one baptism, I can see that you couldn't quote the scriptures as it is written because it is your own theological beliefs instead Period

Please read Galatians in the New Testament . This should explain every thing that a Christian needs to know about the Old Testament laws and our relationship with them .

No comment but a question. Why is the Holy Bible divided into two distinctly separate sections, the Old Testament and the New Testament?

Hi Firmvictara69 in peace. False teaching. I know of many women who do service. Even virgins of both men and women. Most recently today it is mentioned in John 12:3 In Jesus Holy Name. Then Mary took a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odor of the ointment.

And in the verses afterwards, the one who was to betray Jesus growls.

So we know that the woman is not seen as highly placed in the Christian ranks. Also with the Taliban, and other groupies. Religious people are the worst thing on earth. I will mention to you something very serious. If the man does not have the ability to lead his family. Thees menn destroy the whole family as well.

John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour. Amen

Here the Lord Jesus does not mention women but says. (any man).

Be blessed in His Holy Name Jesus Christ. Wich u a good day and hopefully u have this note in a book which is to yourself. It is not a sermon in any case.

Thank you faithful saints for your additional insights to our declaring of the provisions and promises of our God and Savior the Lord Jesus Christ. May we be humble and mindful of our leaders, the lost, and back slidden people to find the salvation of the Lord before they enter into eternity without Christ.

May we stand fast in the promises and commandments of our Lord Jesus Christ. May His face shine brightly upon all who has trusted in the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank You Father for answering our cries and needs as You see fit in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Hi Beverly, I am sorry for your loss of your loved one. May God fill your wounded heart with His love and with renewed hope for the future.

I believe the verse T. Levis shared is right on point: 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.

It uses the term 'sleep in Jesus' which is an interesting phrase. I interpret this as believers will simply be in a peaceful rest awaiting Jesus' return. Just like when we sleep at night, it doesn't seem like a full 8 hours, but if we sleep soundly, it seems like only a snap of the fingers and we awake. Similarly, I believe those in this spiritual state of rest will seem like a second and they (and us) will be meeting Jesus 'caught up' with him in the clouds. I believe it will be peaceful, happy, and a feeling of love.

    God bless you.

GIGI: You've heard some testimony from me..

When I was baptized, my son was 6. He insisted being baptized with me. I asked the Pastor to quiz him on his request. Pastor gave the go ahead. I was blessed! So happy.

In his 20's three friends died of different reasons. My nephew, like a son to me; died in a firey 18 wheeler crash. I know my son felt that God had betrayed him somehow. All I could do was pray for both of us.

He wouldn't even listen to me if I said anything about God_ Until recently. His son is in a Christian school; my daughter in law is a Christian. My grandson received salvation at his school. He was so happy! I keep praying for them. My son doesn't have to be anyone except himself. Every so often I "think out loud", that I will be so happy to go fishing with my Dad, grand-dad, and Travis.

We had many happy lake memories.

Have a listen to my friend, Charles Capps, on YouTube. He had great insight into how to get more done, through prayer. Sometimes it feels like they are restrained by the devil. Memories of losses are powerful. I know it's "not welcome", but I drop occasional "praise the Lord", when he gives me some good news. :). Or I'll say how my grandson is like his humble and kind grandfather.

I guess I'm saying, don't cower behind their objections. I just take it to the closet. The Lord is faithful to listen. I know God sees everyone on each day of their lives, Alpha and Omega. I just thank him in advance for the day my son says in his heart_how grateful he is for his many blessings! And that he wants to forgive God, so he can be forgiven. That's all God requires.

We have to plow that fallow ground of their hearts. Break up the clods with OUR tears; toss out rocks of disappointments. Lay down our pride and pick up humility_and stay behind the plow. I ask God to bless them no matter what and bring me a good report some day. He wants to see Travis as much as Trav wants to see him. Travis was humble and sweet.

David quoted the first stanza & refrain of an old hymn (of four stanzas). Looking further into it, it was written by Jennie Evelyn Hussey (1874-1958) & as a young girl of eight, she would often write several verses. She had Quaker roots, born at Henniker, NH & buried in Concord, NH.

    I will pray for Christopher

Dear Lord Jesus, in Your name we ask that Christopher be delivered from the evil one today and give Him assurance of Your forgiveness, increase Christopher's faith in You. Prevent those who practice occult from contact with Christopher. Deliver those who introduced Christopher to occult practices from this evil.

We know that You can make Christopher well and whole and free him from evil, doubt, and shame. We are trusting You Jesus for accomplishing these great things in Christopher quickly.

    Amen

    Well said Mishael

When my sons turned from faith and met hardships as teens, I crried, grieved, and prayed. At one point I spoke to God and said, Lord God, I know that You love my sons more than I ever could and that You are working in their lives 24/7 and I cannot, so I leave them into Your hands.

I have continued to pray for them (it's been 20 years) and believe that God will answer my prayers and bring them back to faith in Him. Like You, have contended in the Spirit to restore family time and harmony. We are more connected now than 20 years ago. I just love them, helming them when they have a need, being flexible to their schedules do we can have dinners together a few times a month(with three adult sons it is hard to find days where all three can come over).

We go shooting together, as we are all learning to shoot with accuracy. My oldest is the best skilled and most knowledgeable about gun use.

All my sons like to cook with me. We hope to work on canning together this summer.

We have always love camping, so we try to get in at least

    One trip each summer.

I know that all these things are really important. They don''t ask a lot of spiritual questions, but I let them know I pray for them and talk about world events and relate them to The Bible without "preaching" (which they aren't open to) But I know that the time will come when they ask me more about my faith or their dad, and I pray for God to send believing wives to them soon along with believing friends.

But as for a parent of a child who says they are gay. It is important to kindly take a stance against the sin and offering hope in Christ. And if course letting the child know you are praying for them (and do it!). They may not be thrilled that you pray for them, but I believe deep down, they are miserable and are thankful someone is praying to God for them as they may not feel like they can pray to Him as a gay person. Thanks for your good counsel. It is heartbreaking to have one's child apostasize.

Daniel was in an extreme circumstances & was yet obedient to GOD & faithful, 2Kings 20:18, Daniel 1:1, Daniel 1:8, we assume Daniel wouldn't eat food that was considered "unclean' or 'abomination' to GOD as set forth in the Books of Leviticus 1, if you would like to study the Laws given to Moses.

    Jesus said : Matthew 5:17, Romans 9:31-33, John 3:15-21, Matthew 25,

    Samuel,

In Verse 8, Jesus answered and said I have told you that I AM: if therefore you are seeking me, and in the Greek, this is called a first-class condition assumed to be true. He is saying since therefore you are seeking me. And check this out because this is a command in the Greek text. He says, "let these (His disciples) go their way:" He is not asking permission. It is a command, imperative mood in the Greek text!

Verse 9: That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none.

That was back in John Chapter 17 Verse 12. Now He told them that soon they will scatter. That's at the cross. Now He is saying allow these disciples to leave. That is His protection.

Remember He said in John Chapter 10 that the shepherd goes out and he faces the wolf. A hireling won't do that. So not only is it provision that a shepherd gives, but protection.

And here's Jesus fulfilling His prayer that all that the Father has given Him, He has not lost one. And so, they had to let them go. Why? Because Jesus commanded it! So now it is Jesus alone with the 1,000 people that came out to take Him.
