I would go on YouTube and listen to the teachings of either Greg Laurie, or Nelson Walters.

I'm a keep it simple preacher. Matthew 24, Luke 21 (preached by Jesus) the signs of His Coming.

That's why I like Walters, because that's what he preached. He preached prophesy also_ like me. It means watching for the actual foretold signs.

I don't care for "spin" on the scriptures and neither does Nelson. Not bragging, I have photographic memory. Even at age 70 it's still taking pictures. My Bible is in rags held together with tape, but I know where each scripture is.

Right now is especially exciting because prophesies are moving along, falling into place.

Jesus said of the birth pains; they would speed up and increase in intensity. All signs appearing at the same time.

A year of 31 hurricanes was remarkable, but this year they are happening during snow and freezing temperatures! Our Politicians swear it's global warming, but there are those who know this is a JESUS event we're seeing. However we stay anchored in the excitement, by what we see happening in ISRAEL, and the Mideast.

There are actually people out there promoting themselves as "Messiah". The Bible sternly warns of False Messiahs, Teachers and Prophets. If I see a fake, I'm gonna call it a false. They're out there. Wolves in sheeps covering. False Shepherds who fleece the Sheep. I ask always_ are the sheep skinny or fat.

Jesus didn't say to us, to sit in mega churches and grow fatter. He said to GO YE. If there's no go ye going on_beware. We need to alert the unsaved (evangelize) what is going on in the real world.

Interesting that you bring up Hezekiah, the LORD several times put that name in my thoughts. In 2 Chronicles 28:27 - 2 Chronicles 29, 30, 31, Hezekiah did much good. 2 Chronicle 32:30,

I felt a warning also about being like Hezekiah. In 2 Kings 18:16 , Hezekiah "cut off the gold from the doors of the temple of the LORD, and from the pillars._.' & gave it to the king of Assyira" I asked myself was it to save the people from war? Was it fear? Either way all that sacrifice & peace offering didn't stop the evil nor the attacks. 2 Kings 18:17-32, they even used that against Hezekiah when they mocked. 2 Kings 18:22, 2 Kings 18:29-30, 2 Chronicle 32, Isaiah 36:7-22,

Then Hezekiah came to Isaiah 2 Kings 19:1-5, & sought-after the LORD 2Kings 19:14-16,

Another warning I felt 2 Kings 20:12-18,

& 2Kings 20:19, he seemed unconcerned about the bad consequences Hezekiah himself had caused to his own offspring. 2 Chronicles 32:25-26, 2 Chronicles 32:27,

GOD help us * not give what is HOLY & sanctified to GOD over to enemies, * that we won't cause bad consequences to future generations, * that we will care about future generations & not life ourselves too highly with treasure. I re-read your questions. A parent with a child that says they are gay; all you can do is love them fully, whatever state they are in.

That's what I would do. Love covers a multitude of sins. Love is a good place to start. It doesn't mean you have to be converted to someone else's choices. We have to believe what the Bible says. Instead, you are the Prodigal sons father. Just keep looking for his return.

You're going have to give yourself to something way bigger than you ever imagined. You take your place beside Jesus: who is seated at the right hand of God the Father. Jesus ever lives to make Intercession for the Saints. As I have done_ you sit and pray for your child; for all parents of all Christian/backslid kids.

Don't give voice to any negative comments. That's exactly what Satan wants. He's the Accuser, Betrayer, Murderer of love. Only your prayers are stronger than Satans Plans. Pray Psalm 51 over your son plus passages you find, like diamonds.

I waited 15 years for my son to stop blaming God for "hating gays". I never said that. It's something they imagine. A LIE Satan told them. That's why I said, to be the Prodigals dad. He will come to his senses in time; as my son did. He's not gay. He just appointed himself to defend gay people.

Maybe it's dumb, but I took roast dinners to his house to share with him and his wife. When I was making the meal_I asked the Lord to fill it with blessing, goodness and the love of family. Each mouthful of food was filled with hope and sure expectation. I even rejoiced in washing the dishes. :)

I would see the prodigal on the road, to return to his roots. Our God. My son taught me to be supportive and not condemn. Let go and Let God figure it out. Let love have it's perfection in Christ.

I always let gays know they are ACCEPTED in the BELOVED. I truly believe in the Love of God to find The Way, the Truth, the Life. Amen.

What is the scriptural support for pre-tribulation rapture of the church, or in other words will believers be here during the tribulation period. What does the Bible say?

I Hope our Father will direct you to the Truth (which is His Word) and that the Spirit will draw you towards it always.

Everyone will fall into one of these two situations:

* Isaiah 6:9-10 - i.e. They have eyes and ears but are unable to see or here because the Spirit of Truth is not in them. They are essentially satisfied as they are.

OR

* Luke 11:1-13 - i.e. They believe that God is reliable to His Word (that His Word is not vanity) and if they earnestly seek He will give reliable answer.

I recommend following the Luke 11 method. Your success in your search for Truth will be directly related to your faith (i.e. effort) in His Word (Which is to say, pray for Truth and understanding of His Word, and always follow that up by opening up the scriptures and studying them intensively in expectation that He is Reliable to His Word). 'Religious freeloaders' are not rewarded with anything that you will be searching for.

It's not realistic to think that you will have a reasonable grasp of the New Testament without first having a strong fundamental understanding of the Old Testament. That is not to say that you can't start by reading New Testament books, only that the foundation for understanding them much more fully will not be in place until you have a reasonable grasp of the Old Testament.

If you're intent on reading any book (with understanding), it is reasonable to start at the beginning. The Bible fits that expectation pretty well.

It's like when someone is arrested. The arms of the criminal are BOUND so as to subdue them.

So in a way, our society feels it is wrong for cops to treat a criminal as if they were a criminal. They could grab a gun and start shooting.

But binding and evil spirit, means to stop their illegal activity. Jesus took back ALL DOMINION and AUTHORITY Satan had stolen from Adam and Eve.

Satan and evil creatures ARE NOT HUMAN. God created this world to be tended to by humans. Jesus came into this world as a baby of Mary and Joseph. He was God the Word: all God. As a human baby, Jesus became THE SON OF MAN. Fully Human and Fully God. He set aside his God powers to become a baby. Immanuel means GOD WITH US, in Hebrew.

Everything I'm writing of, is the legal reasons while Jesus has all authority and Satan no longer has LEGAL authority. He is a thief and a murderer. He thought he had killed the Son of God. But what he did was LOSE HIS AUTHORITY to hurt Jesus's Believers. Jesus baptized his believers with his own Power and Authority. Sorta like deputize us.

Problem is, the modern day Churches of Jesus quit teaching Christians how to walk in that Authority, because they thought it brought attention to Satan and his devils. Hopefully we will soon see a REVIVAL in the Church?

Next time you are laid out in pain and suffering from back pain, disease, suffering__unleash your faith on Gods willingness to honor your legal human Christian holy anger upon satan and his non-human devils, command them to LET YOU GO!!! and to go into outer darkness forever.

So it seems that Heaven is the firmament with water above it. Below waters become earth and sea (there was land mixed with the water and God exposed it). His word never comes back unfulfilled!

Abaddon

In the Book of Revelation ( 9:1-11 ), when John sees his vision of the fifth trumpet blowing, a vast horde of demonic horsemen is seen arising from the newly opened abyss. They are sent forth to torment the unfortunate inhabitants of earth, but not to kill them. They have a ruler over them, called a king (basileia [basileiva]), the angel of the abyss, whose name is given in both Hebrew and Greek. In Hebrew it is Abaddon and in Greek Apollyon, both words meaning Destroyer or Destruction.

The word only occurs once in the New Testament ( Rev 9:11 ) and five times in the Old Testament ( Job 26:6 ; 28:22 ; 31:12 ; Psalm 88:11 ; Prov 15:11 ). In Psalm 88:11 Destruction is parallel to the grave; in Job 26:6 and Proverbs 26:6 it is parallel to Sheol; in Job 28:22 it is parallel to Death. job 31:12 says sin is a fire that burns to destruction. So in the Old Testament Abaddon means the place of utter ruin, death, desolation, or destruction.

The angel of the abyss is called Destruction or Destroyer because his task is to oversee the devastation of the inhabitants of the earth, although it is curious that his minions are allowed only to torture and not to kill. His identity is a matter of dispute. Some make him Satan himself, while others take him to be only one of Satan's many evil subordinates.

Moses is speaking reciting his time with Jehovah during the second production of the commandments of Jehovah, our God. He reminds them that God is the most powerful and His love is so great for the Israelites that because He loved their Fathers, He chose them to be His people. They should honor, praise, love and follow His commandments and in return He will govern, protect and lead them into the Land of Milk and Honey and it will be theirs.

I do think that women completed the works of devices mentioned in your posts over the centuries and still do in many churches. Perhaps the early church did not call them deaconesses formally, but the name was eventually given to women who do this type of service. In NT times and in many cultures it is inappropriate for a man to minister in such ways to women. It is doubtful a man would be a mid-wife or doula in NT times, but a women in a church fellowship would do such service. And it was unlikely in NT or in some cultures that a man would tend to a sick women or child, nor dress their wounds, bath them, nor cool and clean for a women taken to bed. So, women in the church took on these roles, and ministered to women and children as helpers and teachers.

I chuckle a bit when people throw up those Scriptures you quoted to denounce women serving in a church. I agree that we should follow the practices Paul spoke of concerning women, but there were prophetesses in the Bible. God gifts people as He chooses.

But when people quote Scriptures as you did it often seems to me that such a person wants to ensure that women "keep their proper place". So, I chuckle. Without "church ladies" most of the less flashy work of the church would not get done.

As believers we should appreciate the gifts and talents of all believers and be careful not to quench the work of the Spirit when it comes from a woman.

But perhaps this does not apply to you. So, if not. Just something to keep in mind.

So, he must have died. What Michael did with his body, we don't know, but perhaps his body was taken up and was glorified rather than buried and decayed.

As to Enoch bring a Gentile, there were not any Jews or Gentiles before the Flood.

But there was an Enoch in the line of Cain; and an Enoch in the line of Seth. It was the Seth line Enoch (great grandfather of Noah) that walked with God and was translated.

Matthew 12:12-29

25 And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?

and then he will spoil his house. (The devil must leave)

Jesus as a human being (legally) has dominion, power and all authority,

to bind Satan's works and the devils that follow him; and order them to go into outer darkness or dry places.

Christians are deputized by Jesus to walk in the same authority as Jesus. If we don't receive that, then Satan makes our lives difficult or a living hell.

Teaches us to treat our employees fairly by paying them on time, as they are depending on the wage to take care of his daily needs. The hired servant does not have savings, own land, or other things he could use to

Pay for daily necessities.

Verses 16 is fairly self-explanatory.

Verse 17-18 speaks about using the justice system or rules of commerce to remain compassionate, fair, and reasonable. One of means should not exploit others, especially those who are poor and without clout. Nor should they be merciless and greedy, not caring if winning in his favor causes harm to others less fortunate than he is.

No one should swindle or deal nefariously with others.

Verses 19-22

This is talking about not being so frugal in harvesting your bounty that you go over your crop twice to get every last fruit, grain, or vegetable, but to let the poor who do not have land to grow these things come after the first harvest pass and glean what is left.

For us now, we should be generous to those in need, be willing to give the extra of our harvest to the food bank or a needy family, church member or neighbor. We should give monetarily to charities that provide food for the needy.

I was brought up

On poverty and our family did go and glean in fields that allowed it. We picked apples, pears, blueberries, and pulled vegetables like carrots, potatoes, etc. this helped my parents ensure we had food to eat.

I was just reminded an hour or so ago to go to union gospel mission to make a monetary donation for their meal program when a homeless person asked me for money. I didn't want to give her money and have her use it for drugs. So I declined, but it reminded me to make a donation to an organization that does feed the hungry.

This Scripture in Deut. 25:10 is speaking about lending money to a brother and securing a pledge that the lender holds as collateral to ensure that the person pays his debt.

So, a pledge could be something of value that the debtor has that can be held by the lender. In today's world of finances, a debtor puts up a down payment, or a lien may be applied to someone's home, car etc. Also, often a business will hold your credit card # to hold a reservation on a hotel, etc.

So, back to the verse, it says for the lender not to go into the debt it's home to secure the pledge. This is asking the lender to be respectful of the debtor's personal home by waiting outside for the pledge to be brought to him. Going into the home gives opportunity for a lender to intimidate or threaten a debtor.

Also, if the debtor is poor, the pledge is to be returned after sundown so the debtor could sleep in his own garment. So the text is indicating that the pledge is a msn's puter garment. Most likely the only covering the man owns, no blankets to keep him warm at night. So it is with compassion in mind that a lender treats the debtor with respect and fair practices.

The firmament, raqia meaning an extended surface, expanse, heaven. There are in scripture three heavens, 2 Corinthians 13:2 as Paul tells us. The first heaven is our atmosphere, the air we breathe, where we will meet Jesus when he returns, 1 Thessalonians 4:17 the Greek word , ar, air, the lower air we breathe. The second heaven is the sky, the Greek word ouranou, the starry heavens, where the sun, moon, all the stars, and planets.

These first two is the firmament that God said let there be to divide the waters, the waters below and the waters above. In day four God placed the sun, moon, stars, and all the other planets in this firmament. The third heaven is above all this where the throne of God and the abode of the angels.

There are many opinions, what are these waters that are above the stars but little scripture just theories.

So, we will shine in eternity. I think all of heaven will shine with the God's holy light

Revelations 21:22-23

Yet I think we will be able to discern Jesu' countenance and that of others

In this life here, such light would be blinding, but in our new incorruptible bodies, our eyes will not be bothered by the light of holiness we will experience forever in heaven.

Jesus is both the light of the world and the light of heaven.

Obviously light is associated with holiness, so when Jesus said to let our light shine in this life, He is referring to our godly lifestyle that causes others to glorify God.

Daniel said the king's dream was about a giant statue that was destroyed by a stone cut out of a mountain. The statue represented the kingdoms of the earth. The stone cut out of the mountain represented the kingdom of God that would fill the earth.

This comes to pass, and at the end of his punishment, Nebuchadnezzar praises God. Daniel's role is to interpret the dream for the king. The message of the story is that all earthly power, including that of kings, is subordinate to the power of God.

Daniel interprets Nebuchadnezzar's dream. Nebuchadnezzar is humbled twice by God: when he tries to punish the Israelites for refusing to worship an idol and when God punishes him with seven years of madness.

The anointing oil needs to be done; it's not "just medicinal" like some teach - (Read Mark 6:7 & 6:12-13 those were clearly supernatural healings, and yet they still used the anointing oil - when they anointed in the Old Testament, they simply poured oil on someone's head ( Leviticus 8:12 - 2 Kings 9:6 - 1 Samuel 10:1) - you don't need any man to "bless the oil", the Bible did not say to do that - the anointing simply needs to be done in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

3. It says "the prayer of faith shall save the sick", so I encourage everyone to be praying that God will give the gift of faith to both parties during that time - earlier in James, it shows us faith is essential when praying, otherwise "...let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord." ( James 1:6-7)

Repent in that context is godly sorrow for having broken God's commandments ( 2 Cor 7:8-11)

This is what every country is experiencing. The Bible says that it will 'wax worse and worse.' Your faith needs to be strong in what the New Testament teaches on these Last Days before Jesus's Return.
