    Dear Stuart

    I will pray for you

Dear Lord Help Stuart in waiting for You to bring his wife to him. It is very hard to wait and to be without a partner when so many around a person are married. Prepare both Stuart and his future wife for each other and the marriage you desire for them.

Along with Stuart, I ask for wives for my sons Rob and Kevin. Bring loving Christian wives to each of these men soon. They have been single for a little my time. We are trusting You to fulfill this need for these men and that You will also satisfy them and n their waiting. In Your name Jesus we pray. Amen

Who were the two on the mount of transfiguration with Jesus ? Moses & Elijah,.. but no one really knows,.. but the good lord himself

Knowing that God is completely perfect: in need of nothing, altogether self satisfied in the Godhead, and absolutely independent(under no sense of necessity or forced obligation) and free to do as He wills; then why did He create anything to begin with? He did not need to, have to, nor was he bored, lonely or need someone to love because He has no lack of anything in His Being.

    Hi Mark.

Calvin , Luther, Arminius, All taught that we are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. most Christian teachers teach this.

So I am wondering why you are asking. Perhaps expanding on your question will help us understand what you are hoping to find out.

I have thought about that, too. It seems that it may be Enoch and Elijah for the reason you stated. But also, we are not told how Moses departed this world. He may have been translated also since both he and Elijah appears with Jesus at the Transfiguration.

    Hi Ron

Psalm 127 speaks of children being a blessing and happy is the man who has a quiver full of them.

I've always wondered how many arrows fill a quiver in archery.

Wouldn't the two witnesses during the Tribulation be Elijah and Enoch, and not Elijah and Moses, since they were the only ones mentioned in the Bible as not tasting death? 2 Kings 2:11 and Genesis 5:24. Since man is only appointed once to die and Rev 11 says the 2 witnesses will come, be killed, and live again.

    Thank you.

After my brother Emmett was hospitalized his son called me crying that the hospital notified him that he should prepare for end of life procedures for his father. Emmett had developed pneumonia in both lungs and a UTI infection had turned septic. I called my sister Joan and notified her and we came together in one accord for the divine healing of our brother Emmett as prayed to God Almighty in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that he would live and not die. We then asked for prayers on social media that every one would also pray for a good report. The next morning the hospital confirmed that he had a good night and was improving rapidly. I pray now that this praise report and thanksgiving would reach those that are struggling with a similar need you can rest on the words of our living God that we may gather in faith, praying in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ amen. Emmett has been totally healed of this as well as gall stones and a sore that he had been dealing with for two years. Thanks and praise unto the Great and Sovereign El Shadiah God of Heaven and Earth, nature and the universe in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen and amen.

Hi Mark. There are indeed aspects of Reformed Theology that are correct, as also those of Jacobus Arminius. Of course, those who are completely in agreement with the one or the other, may not agree with those who find truth & acceptability in the beliefs of both men. And being who we are, as those who also read & understand God's Word with the Spirit's Help, as well as coming under the influence of Church teaching & Christian articles/books, no one will ever 'fit' perfectly together for the full & proper understanding of God's Word.

There will always be room for various interpretations, forming various beliefs, "till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ" ( Ephesians 4:13). And together, we make for a great diversity of Christian belief & practises until we get closer to true unity, both in Christ's Body & Christ's Word.

As for "our salvation comes through Christ's completed work alone", I believe that both Calvin & Arminius were in agreement on this doctrine, that nothing but Christ's Sacrifice could ever provide for us & secure us so great a salvation. Were you thinking of some special aspect about this that has prompted you to ask?

    In response to "John J"

There are many sins! Idolatry, Fornication, Witchcraft, Pride, etc... All of these sins fall under three areas LUST OF THE FLESH,LUST OF THE EYES, AND THE PRIDE OF LIFE | 1 John 2:16|! They are not all classified as stealing! But what they are classified as are sins against a Holy and Righteous God AND transgression of the LAW | 1 John 3:4|!

With that said ALL the sins in God's Word minus one are forgivable...The only unforgivable sin in God's eyes is denying Christ Jesus! | Matthew 10:33| Jude 1:4 | Proverbs 30| Which is blasphemy of the Holy Ghost! | Matthew 12:31| This is saying that Christ Jesus did not die on the cross and send us the Comforter! The Holy Ghost is our Comforter!

We must be born again for our sins to be washed away | John 3:7 |

I noticed one of the comments state there are "7 deadly sins" God says ALL sin causes DEATH! | Romans 5:12| It says there in Romans that death passed upon ALL men! This is our physical death...But there is DEATH beyond our physical DEATH and that is an eternity in HELL the SECOND death this is spoken of in Revelation | Revelation 20:14| This second death is for those that have not been SAVED by the Grace of God through FAITH in Christ Jesus...causing BLASPHEMY of the HOLY GHOST!

Acts 11:13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.

    16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

Acts 3:8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

    Luke 19:37 And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;

38 Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.

39 And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples.

40 And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.

    Hi! :)

I feel grieved for your loss and I prayed for you just now and felt the Father speak to you that 'she is safe with me.'

I felt such warmth and love in my heart that I felt to bless you with words of encouragement.

Father God loves you so much and he welcomes you with loving arms. Yet he is ever so gentle and like the gentle waves along the beach, he calmly keeps pursuing us like a patient loving Father. I hope this message brings you warmth and comfort and that you are in peace. Heaven is a place of victory and love is everlasting. May God smile upon you today with his warmth and kindness and that you have a blessed day! :)

Jude 20 you mentioned, one aspect of prayer is like to emphasize is HOLY faith , if there is any tint of sin , forget about praying in the Holy Spirit . Let us all ask God like David did , search my heart oh God if there be any errors within . Not exact words but you know the thought . Be blessed
  • Bob - In Reply - 3 years ago
The bible says we shall have tribulations in this world , but Jesus said be of Good cheer for I have overcome the world .

We certainly are never on our own ! Thank God , be blessed !
