My friends, it is NOT climate change.

    Sobering isn't it? Mishael

Our planet is rupturing everywhere. These aren't rogue storms. This is the earth telling us Jesus's Return is very CLOSE.

It's NOT Climate Change. IT IS

2 PETER 3. Bottom line is: it is all going to burn. The earth is ramping up for it. There is no GREEN SOLUTION for what we're seeing.

So Praise God and the Lord. Jesus is coming to CATCH US UP. Say the prayer today if you haven't already. Do something to comfort the homeless and hungry; through an organization that does that.

You saw on tv what it looks like for 2 million to cross Texas borders in search of just necessities. Most of the are unvaccinated. Be smart and get a flu shot. It's a new day_ so be safe.

move away from the beaches; dense forests, active faults, volcanoes, drought zones. Research safer places to live.

Be ready to go with Jesus, and get your kids ready too.

I Hate to do this, truly. On YouTube watch a modern day rapture movie. It looks sci-go but the scriptural basis is all through it. It's food for thought. What's really important, now:

Hello Vernice. In Genesis 2:4, the word 'generations' in Hebrew, can be rightly read as 'begettings'. So we could translate that verse as: 'these are the accounts (or, history) of the heavens & the earth and all that proceeded from them'; of their origins & beginnings and of the order of their various aspects & creatures formed to fill them.

May the Lord help you & bless you in your pursuit of reading the Bible through from start to finish. A big task, but one that the Spirit will use to grant you knowledge of the Word & understanding to apply it to your life.

    Great answer GiGi!

Very insightful and gets us to take a closer look when using "Wilfully sin" when separating Christians and non Christians.

    Hello Stephen.

I hope that a couple of the Scriptures I share here may be of help to those in this quandry of whether to continue with treatment or not. If they are believers, hopefully they will find special grace to bear up & wisdom to know how to proceed. Often, being fully cast upon the Lord for His healing & availing of medical help can go hand-in-hand. I don't think that it's a demonstration of a lack of faith to continue with medical treatment as we trust the Lord for directing the minds & hands of our medical fraternity, and ultimately, it is the Lord Who heals, gives life or takes it away.

Hello? Praise be to the Lord Jesus Christ. I have sampled some verses in this Bible and i am find it still full. It still has its verses in full. Is it possible for me to get a copy of this Bible soft or hard copy? Most of the new kings version sold in Uganda these days have verses missing.I am in need of this version (1611) standard English. Thank you , TOM.

Hi Donna. I think that 'doubt' is a very natural, logical mental attitude, as if we accept everything a person says or given from the media, we would become very vulnerable & looked upon as gullible. By definition, 'doubt' is to show uncertainty about something, or to even express distrust or suspicion. It is a human trait that can be both used correctly (as in wanting more information to verify facts), or incorrectly (holding onto an understanding/belief when the one giving the information is actually trustworthy). A little child will always be vulnerable as he/she will readily accept the words of another. Some adults are also notoriously gullible, easily swayed by a person's convincing argument & presentation. But the wise person, will take to heart what is given & pursue research or other checks to ascertain the truth.

You mentioned Thomas. Normally, one could say that he was a wise & careful man wanting more proof of the Lord's resurrection. But his doubt was unjustified because he already received the Lord's Words about the resurrection ( Matthew 16:21; John 2:18-22; John 10:17,18) & the men who brought him this news were his trustworthy friends & partners. So we see here, that Thomas was the type that wouldn't settle on anyone's words, even the Lord's, only accepting what he could physically see or touch. So Jesus' Words to him, "be not faithless, but believing". For Thomas' faith to be real, he had to believe what was told to him by worthy competent people. Just as we express faith in God's Word for its Truth & its Authorship, unlike those who reject God, who also doubt His Word.

So, you can talk to God about things that you don't understand - for His Spirit to make it clear to you. This is not doubt - just honest inquiries to learn more. But it would be doubt if God's Word makes it plain to you & you want more proof or try to find anything to change that Word. Gideon laid out his 'fleece' before the Lord ( Judges 6:36-40) showing doubt in God's clear Word.

    What constitutes doubt?

Is it doubt to question the Lord about things?

I know Thomas doubted. He had to touch the scars in the hands of Jesus before he would believe.

Not necessarily a comment but a question. I'm looking for scripture for those who are going thru dialysis. Some groups that I watch about kidney health I wont say who. There is talk about giving up and quitting dialysis. From the comment I saw from others who lost family members shocked me. What scriptures can I go to to help them cope with these feelings of giving up?

    Thank you in advance.

Jessie, re your comment on Paul praying in the spirit and praying with his mind.

Read from 1Cor 14:2, "The one speaking in a tongue, does NOT speak to men but TO GOD, for none hears (in the sense of understands) but in the SPIRIT he speaks mysteries. So Paul, when he speaks in a tongue to God, given by the Holy Spirit, he speaks mysteries. (mysteries are things that are not known - understood)

v4- "the one speaking in a tongue (unlearned) builds himself up. This is where Jude 1:20 comes in. He builds himself up in his spirit, where his most holy faith is situated.

He goes on to explain that in a meeting of believers it is important for all to understand what is spoken; so, if an unknown is spoken publicly in a gathering their needs to be an interpretation given. But if there is no one who has such a gift then the one show speaks in an unknown tongue should do so quietly without interrupting anyone's concerntration to understand the lingua franca.

Paul did not rebuke them for speaking in unlearned langauges given by the Holy Spirit, but only because they were disorderly in their expression of that gift; they were excited without consdiering others present.

so he says - "Seek to build each OTHER up".

Then in v 14 he says For if I pray in a tongue (given by the Holy Spirit; he is speaking about gifts given by the Holy Spirit not languages learned by men), my spirit prays, but my mind (my 'nous' - understanding) is unfruitful.

And finally in v 28 - "And if there is NO interpreter (one who has been given the gift of interpretating a tongue from the Holy Spirit) let him be silent (inaudible) in the assembly, and let him speak to himself (build his own faith up) and to God."

Paul is talking about gifts given by the Holy Spirit.

The ability to speak in 'tongues' is for private edification - unless there is an interpretor present - in which case all can benefit from the interpretation given.

    peace in Jesus

Indeed GiGi. I think that other folks' opinion on this is based on the Gift of the Holy Spirit Who baptizes, indwells, seals & empowers for life & service. The question therefore is, if the disciples did not experience this mysterious blessed Act of the Spirit till Pentecost, then what was their spiritual condition prior?

For this matter & many others, I always first ascertain which dispensation are we looking at. Clearly, the Lord, his chosen disciples, & all whom they encountered were still living under the Old Dispensation: of the Law, looking towards the Messiah of God & His Salvation (albeit not the salvation they expected). Therefore, in respect to the disciples, they like all others (even Noah, Abraham, Jacob, etc.), were subject to God, living in a sinful condition yet expressing devotion & trust in God to forgive them & help them. And if the saints of old were commended for their faith, not even receiving the promise ( Hebrews 11:39), we cannot discount them from being true believers & worshippers of God. But once the Sacrifice of Jesus was completed, the Requirement for forgiveness (both theirs & ours) was accepted & sealed by God: the Blood availed in full efficacy for those once under the Law & those believing without the Law.

The disciples obviously were in an interesting point in time, having been subject to the Law & pharisaical demands, then meeting & believing in the One Who would abrogate the Law that only brought sin & death ( Romans 7:6-11), & then receiving the anointing & indwelling of the Spirit, Who would guarantee freedom from the penalty, hopelessness & powerlessness of that Law. Were the disciples in any different dispensation than those of previous millennia? The same God Who accepted the faith & worship of Jacob under the Law, would accept these simple followers of Christ by their faith & obedience, awaiting not many days hence, when the Law could no longer kill, but they would have the Spirit Who would give them life & power to live.
