Hi Virginia while our spirit is still inside this fleshy body we still sin by the flesh. You can sin by thought by word by deed or by the things you did not do. But the spirit within is without fault when our flesh departs our spirit goes to be at home with Yahweh Jesus and The holy Spirit

When it says you will sin as long as you are in the flesh, does that mean before you are saved or after or both? My friend says after you're saved you won't sin every day, but I say you will sin but not willfully???

Hi GiGi. I often think of John 6:66-69 when confronted with the thought of the disciples' spiritual condition: "From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God."

There were those of Jesus' other disciples (other than the 12), who turned their backs to the Lord, but the 12, bar Judas, remained faithful even though their love & faith in the Lord were often severely tested. As Peter exclaimed, 'to whom can we turn to, to receive the words of eternal life, You the promised Messiah of God?' Maybe, our expectations of the disciples are oddly higher than for the rest of us, given their personal encounter with Jesus & witness of His Glory & Power. But we fail to remember that they were like us in every way, with their doubts, fears, & questions, & they could hardly envisage how their lives would change when the Holy Spirit would one day empower them to live for the Lord, to teach the Truths of God & one day to die for Him. These traits should be characteristic of each one of us who have been touched & changed by God's Spirit, or else we would be mere followers, ever hungering, walking unsteadily, living with doubts & fears. "Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed."

I would like to get a 1611 King James Bible with the original apocrypha books intact? Is this even available?

    Thank you

When i got delivered from smoking cigarettes, I pretty much dusted off my Bible. To read consecutively. I started in Matthew. In Chapter 4:17, I read Jesus preaching " repent! The kingdom of Heaven is at hand!"

Jesus taught and preached some hard stuff. Today, most of the church world wouldn't tolerate what Jesus himself taught and preached

    2 timothy 4:3

Say that to someone today and them come undone. It's tough, because no one's preaching it except maybe some old school holiness preachers and the Mennonites etc.I was reading and imagining the reaction Jesus would get today. I get that reaction from my people a lot too.

We gotta lay down our sinful habits thoughts and deeds. Jesus is coming back soon I believe we are in the last days!

    Nicole.

I will pray for you and your family.

    Lord Jesus

Nicole is asking today for You to restore her marriage. Answer all of her petitions. She is contending for her matti age and the welfare of her family. I am thankful that You hear her prayers and know all about this situation. So, in agreement with Nicole, we ask Your help in Your name,

    Amen

That's true Brenda. In some cases, people who were convinced about the 'harmful' effects of the vaccine & have later turned about face on the matter, are also joined by those in the opposite camp, pushing for the vaccine, but later having fallen ill & may have even passed on. We can see both sides of this which has divided so many.

Therefore, each one has to be convinced, having examined it as much as possible, & do according to the dictates of their consciences. The other problem that arises is, should those who've not been vaccinated then protest against employer or govt. rulings that put restrictions or penalties upon them? Sure there'll be many protestations, as there are even now, but the bottom line is, if a law is in place, we either obey or disobey it, & if we're true to our convictions, then the ramifications of our decision, whether of good or ill, must be accepted.

    Hi Sarah

I lost my dad suddenly, too. It was 33 years ago. I knew when it happened that God chose it to be his time to die and enter eternal life. That has always comforted me. It is a blessing to have believing parents. It is sad to let go of them in death, but we let go of them to God, and that is better for our loved one.

May you be comforted and also hold your mom to you in memories. My dad loved to garden, so every spring when plants bud and begin to bloom or bear fruit, I think of him. I remember seeing him out among the fruit trees just checking them out and enjoying them.

I have a pressure canner he bought for me in my early adult years. I hadn't asked for it and my parents did not have much money, so it was a special gift. He bought it at a second hand store and I still have it. Just can't give it up.

I've used it for canning over the years.

My adult son now wants to learn to can, so I'll be teaching him with this special canner!

I hope you are have many ways to be reminded of your mom. God bless you today.

God comforts us in our loss as well as fills us up with His presence as we walk by His Spirit.

Some one has said; that earth is spinning around the sun and around the moon. Around the sun; Yes!, but around the moon not. The moon spins around the earth. As any other moons spins around the others planets that has one or many moons, all the planets has an orbit around the sun; elliptical, each one of it. Did you know when God stop the sun in gillgall, and the moon in; Joshua 10:12 "Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon." - Joshua 10:13 "And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.") SO, the sun stop his movement, and also the moon stop her spinning around the earth. (Not exactly means the sun stop spinning in his rotation. But the sun never ever has had a translation movement, but it is earth that is translating around the sun in eliptical run around the sun; in that day when they saw the sun stop; was because the earth stopped her translation run but keep spinning in rotation in her axis of North and South polar axis.

I think that unleavened.bread was not the usual way the Israelites ate their bread. It usually was made with yeast before and after the exodus. But, in the instance of the First Passover meal, yeast was not use because there was not time to let it rise several times before it could be baked.

I remember when women wore hats in church, also. Probably a good practice since Paul speaks of it. I also remember when women dressed modestly in church and in general. Probably a good practice, also.

Our focus in worship should be on the Lord, not on what is showing in the way women dress. We are our brother's keepers and should be concerned about our effects on others in how we dress and how we serve in church fellowship.

Probably at the point where people as a whole won't go back to these practices, but I think these are better practices considering the culture we live in today.

    Hi

My understanding from reading the last chapters of each Godpel after the resurrection, all of the apostles (except Judas) returns to Jesus, though they had deserted Him during His trial, suffering and death.

Jesusmet and ate with them multiple times after the resurrection and their faith in Him was restored.

It is untrue that the apostles did not believe the gospel until Pentecost. They were empowered for the mission of evangelism at Pentecost, but the last chapters of the gospels and Acts 1 shows us that they believed and were taught by Jesus.

It baffles me that many people seem to believe what you stated despite the evidenc of Scripture. Perhaps some people judge the apostles by their own mindset and not by what Scripture actually says.

The Scripture gives us no reason whatsoever to think that these apostles were not believers before Pentecost.

I encourage you and others to read these passages in the Gospels and Acts 1 to find out more about the apostles Jesus selected to take the Gospel of Him to the world. He did not make a mistake in choosing them nor did He not teach them and ensure they had received faith to believe in Hom before He ascended. To think otherwise is an insult to our Lord and unbelief in what He is able to do and desired to do in His apostles. Read the Last Supper Discourse in John and see how Jesus speaks to and about the apostles.

Jcbu, I am not trying to be critical of your post. I just felt urged to speak to this one item in your post. I appreciate your thoughts.

    Teresa,

John 5:22 says, "For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son.

Everyone will answer to Jesus Christ. And the Father has transferred all judgment to the Son. So we will all stand before Christ and answer to how we responded to Christ.

Leviticus 1, the several books of Leviticus points out the laws, you can continue through each of them & find the laws you're referring to.

    Genesis 9:22-27, Genesis 13:13, Genesis 18:20,21,22, Genesis 19, Revelations 11:8,

    2 Peter 2:1-15, Jude 1:7-25, Isaiah 3:9, Jeremiah 23:14, Romans 1:18-32,

    Galatians 5:16,

Hopefully these are helpful in your study.

A very good question. I have read that there are some very definite problems yeast can cause in the body, and by avoiding yeast it might alleviate some of these problems.

I had a book put across my path called "The Yeast Connection" written by Dr.Crook, who now has a website online. It is very informative. One of the problems he highlights in his book is that yeast can cause a yeast infection to occur anywhere in the body including the gut. A person with yeast infection often craves sugar and alcohol (which is high in sugar). The yeast turns sugars, even sugars in fruit, into alcohol in the gut. I think we all know the woes too much alcohol can do to a body over time.

    Gary,

Chapter Revelation 4:1 is the verse that's used by those who believe that the believers will be raptured prior to the Tribulation Period, because number 1, the door had been opened, and number two, a trumpet was talking to him.

It's the same as Paul said in 1 Thessalonians 4:13, I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that you sorrow not, as others which have no hope. He had just said in this chapter that the trump of God would sound. It would be a great shout, and the trump of God would sound. And so here is the trumpet talking to John saying come up here.

And those who hold the Pre-Trib. position see that as equivalent to the rapture of the church that is happening. And from now on, John will see everything from heaven, and the church will no longer be on the earth, but the multitudes will be in heaven.

And many believe that's an indication, among other scriptures, especially 1 Thessalonians Chapter 5 where it gives us the Tribulation Period, and he says this is for the wrath of God, and we (have not) been chosen for the wrath of God.

I would just like to offer you a short simple answer to your question. What is the Lord telling you to do? What is He putting on your heart? That would be your answer!

Help and heal the aching hearts and empty arms that long to hold their baby close. Lord I pray that You would wipe their tears away. And comfort them with healing and assurance from the sweet Holy Ghost that their little one is eternally safe in the loving care of Jesus. I have more to go to Heaven for than I did before they went away. God bless all those who mourn they shall be comforted.

    Charla,

Genesis 3:15 is the oldest prophecy in scripture, that Satan would be crushed under His (Christ's) feet. This is going to happen at the second coming of Christ. Also, if you look at Romans 16:20, it says "And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly." Again, this will be the fulfilment of Genesis 3:15. It will be Satan's final ultimate defeat when Christ comes at His second coming and Satan is cast away forever.
