And in the mean time give her the commandments that she can see her sin:
Psalms 19:7 "The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple."
Keeping the law is not was saves us, but "The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul" because it shows us our sin, our need for a savior, and the godly sorrow that works repentance to salvation ( 2 Cor 7:10), is for having broken that law - which is why it says:
Galatians 3:24 "Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith."
" Luke 8:13 "They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away."
The ones that "fall away" never had root to begin (meaning they were never of Christ to being with). That's why there will be "many" that call Jesus Lord and not enter into the kingdom of heaven:
Matthew 7 21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
Those were the seed that didn't fall on good ground, but instead fell on the wayside, thrones, and stony ground. The reason they never truly were born-again, is because they never came to repentance (godly sorrow for their sin) - they got the believing part right, but Jesus told them they didn't do "the will of my Father which is in heaven." which 2 Peter 3:9 shows us His Father's will is repentance:
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
There's people out there that will tell you "the greek says repent is turn/change", but that is false - we don't need to go outside the Bible to define repentance; and it couldn't be turn/change because that's exactly what the people in Matthew 7 talked about, their "works" - but that wasn't the will of the father, because that's not repentance. Again, repentance is defined in scripture (in the context of salvation) as godly sorrow for sin - 2 Cor 7:8-11
We are followers of Jesus. Everyone expresses it how they decide. Let us remember the rich young ruler story, to keep us oriented rightly. That's Ll I'm saying. I didn't choose this, it chose me.
I do it because no one asked me if I'd like to go to church with them. Not even JW's, lol. I was bad, but I needed help.
THE CROWN OF REJOICING:
To those who faithfully are witnesses to the saving grace of God and lead souls to Jesus. This crown has also been named the soul winner's crown. Itindicates here that God will be giving a crown to those who have witnessed toothers and leading people to Christ.Telling others about the grace of God, telling others about Jesus, is the greatest thing that you can do for someone while here on this earth. When you help someone to be led to the Lord, you have just been used as a vessel of God. It says in the Bible,"Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holy and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe:" 1 Thessalonians 2:10 God will judge you by your willingness and desire to be used by Him to witness to others, not necessarily on how many actually get saved; because we are to water and He gives the increase.Christians can be used by God to try to lead others to the Lord. God can fit opportunities for you in your life to witness and work for Him if you allow Him to. Some could be your unsaved friends, family members or co-workers, etc. The Bible says it good here,"For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of ourLord Jesus Christat his coming?" 1 Thessalonians 2:19
Pray to the Lord of the Harvest.
"14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. 16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."

Some points to consider about that passage: 1. According to the Bible, only men can be elders ( 1 Timothy 2:11-15 - 1 Corinthians 14:34-36 - 1 Timothy 3:1-2 - Titus 1:6)
2. The anointing oil needs to be done; it's not "just medicinal" like some teach - (Read Mark 6:7 & 6:12-13 those were clearly supernatural healings, and yet they still used the anointing oil - when they anointed in the Old Testament, they simply poured oil on someone's head ( Leviticus 8:12 - 2 Kings 9:6 - 1 Samuel 10:1) - you don't need any man to "bless the oil", the Bible did not say to do that - the anointing simply needs to be done in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
3. It says "the prayer of faith shall save the sick", so please pray for faith, for yourself and the elders, otherwise, as it said earlier in James "...let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord." ( James 1:6-7)"

If you don't have access to elders (because there is a lot of leaven out there), you can still "call for the elders of the church" in your prayers to the Lord, and He can bring them to you. But until then, there is some natrual things you can do for hypothyroidism - You don't need to do Keto (as all God's foods are acceptable 1 Timothy 4), but I did find a lot of info in these YouTube Dr.Berg videos helpful:
"Hypothyroidism May Not Be a Thyroid Problem But Hashimoto Thyreoiditis"
"How to Get Your Thyroid to Work Correctly"
You are right. We should be living for Jesus every day. We are to be ready for His return as we continue to go about His business. For some, it is missionary work, for others volunteering to serve others in a church fellowship, for others, it is continuing to work a solid work week to provide for their families, and for still others, it is being retired and spending time with family and enjoying grandkids. Family life is really important. All family relationships are important: parents, children, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins.
All of these aspects of family are worth having and fostering in healthy, godly ways. So many children miss out on positive family relations.
As believers, these relationships are very valuable, as we should rely on me another in day to day life and in times of trouble. When more trying times come upon us, we will seek to assist our family first, as I think is how the Bible instructs us. Evangelism and love for others starts with family.
I think the point of being wise to the times and readiness is important, but I also believe we are to live out our lives in the situation God has placed us in until we have a clear directive from the Spirit to do otherwise. Others may disagree, but I think this way because of how the family has suffered so much damage over the past few generations, we just an't ignore the needs of our children and grandchildren. They are our mission field while they are young.
It is my understanding that the Apocrypha was included in Bible Translations up to about 1500-1600 or so. After that time Protestant translators began to drop thes books from their publications. I have been aware of the Apochryphal books for most of my life. I have not studied them though.
So I really cannot speak to their content much.
I listed cycles of discipline beside each new ten year cycle of people born in the US. What defined each unique generation. From the 50's until now. Don't think no one noticed. God knows what you suffer; and are suffering. He wants to heal those who want to be healed. He gave His only begotten Son for us. Every aborted baby is alive in heaven and loved.
I watched those generations. I seek no glory for I bow my knee to the One who reached into near hell and pulled me out. I saw Him. I saw a Hand. I am telling you that this is the generation that will see Jesus catch up His Church in the clouds.
We are all called to be Watchman. Whether we believe this is happening_is up to us. We can be all in, or all out. The dream of long life, happy retirement in a beautiful lakehouse with our grandkids, will not be. There's no reason we can't marry and have families now. Let's repent and lead the people who are here now; to Jesus's salvation.
The signs of the end are here. They are undeniable Now, but people are ostriches! The 1st day after the Rapture everyone will go to Church then.
I'm not going to be engaged in unbelief. I haven't had a nice 35 yr long baby Christian life. I had to hit it hard fast. There's others like me. We came in after the charismatic thing. We were warned of false prophets, false teachers, wolves, hirelings, antichrist spirits, sensuality, apostates. It's here now.
Vote for Jesus. But let's stop being politically soured on life. Awake Sleepers.
Re-imagine life in heaven, eternally. Make it happen. Evangelize. Preach simple for short attention spans. Tell your testimony. Meet real people! Get off Facebook. Pass out Chick tracts. Ask Jesus for a new anointing. People need THE GOOD NEWS for a change. Preach the SIGNS of His Coming.
Stay off public private properties.
If your mom is not a Christian, or is unwilling to do James 5, please look into "bitter apricot seeds", there are testimonies from people who cured themselves with this; yet the medical industry suppresses it because they can't patent and make much money off natrual seeds. Vitamin B17 is a NATRUAL cyanide which kills cancer cells it comes in contact with, this natrual form is different than the SYNTHETIC cyanide which indeed is highly poisonous. B17 is in so many different foods including apple seeds, and there are even cancer free societies such as the Hunza people that consume apricot seeds widely - but they try to make vitamin B17 (which is different from synthetic cyanide) sound dangerous - we can trust the Lord Jesus Christ didn't create our apples, apricots, and other foods with anything that's going to hurt us - Jesus isn't poisoning our food! And He mentions the seeds when talking about what we are supposed to eat:
Genesis 1:29 "And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat."
Psalms 118:8 "It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man."
This is an interesting thread.
I think that there is wisdom in both of your viewpoints.
There is good reason that Scripture tells us to respect our parents and elders. These people ought to have gained wisdom over time as well as having had more time to practice godliness through walking by the Spirit. Yet, there are many folks in the elder category who do not live God's way and practice hypocrisy. So we cannot lump. Everyone together in an age category. Likewise, many in the younger generation are sincerely seeking to live God's way and learn. From the example of others. They may look to those in the elder generation for godly advice and lifestyle examples. It is a blessing when they find an elder person they can trust and learn from.
Yet again, many in the younger generation think that the elder generation is old fashioned or out of touch with the realities of the younger generation. This attitude has been present in our society since the elder generation was young. When the younger folks say "OK Boomer" it usually reflects a dismissive, disrespectful attitude towards the elder person and what that person says. It is meant to as a put down.
So, I think that all believers in all generations should live a lifestyle that exemplifies Christ and speak to one another respectfully and listen attentively expecting to hear something helpful from others especially across generations.
As to the abortion issue. Sadly, it is those of the baby boomer generation that brought in the legalization of abortion and millions of babies have been murdered this way since 1972 (and also before it was legal).
But then again, it was many in this same generation that set up, supported, and volunteered at crisis pregnancy centers across the nation to help women see their baby in the womb via ultrasound and counsel them to choose life for their baby, along with adoption services and families adopting babies that would have been aborted without these services.
Proverbs 3:5 "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding."
We can't simply will ourselves into no longer having fear under our own power; because without Christ we can do nothing (even simple things like trusting Him) - therefore, we need to pray that He will be the one that makes the change in us.
John 15:5
"I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing."
The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 - "Pray without ceasing." so keep praying day after day without ceasing until He gives you that trust and answers your prayers and cry for help.
The Bible shows us fear is a sin ( Revelation 21:8), so it's something we all should be on guard against, and it's good you are confessing it, because James 5:16 makes it sound like that's part of how we are healed from such a fault:
James 5:16 "Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."
And like any other sin, God promises to give us a way to escape it:
1 Corinthians 10:13
"There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."
Next time temptation comes, go to the Lord Jesus for escape, trust Him, and keep your mind on Him:
Isaiah 26:3
"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee."
Maybe even sing hymns as you pray - it helps you keep your mind on Him and when they prayed in prison the chains broke off( Acts 16:25)
Yes we can disagree on this. But we both cannot be correct.
I do not think that you have shown the validity of your view from Scripture and most Christians across time would disagree with you.
But we can still be peaceable about this.
I was wondering if you could explain how you came to this view. Did you read it somewhere outside of Scripture or hear it preached by someone (who) or is it taught in your church affiliation (which is)
Just wish to know the sources from which you received this view.
Job 42
"1Then Job answered the LORD, and said,
2 I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee."

I'm not sure if your dad is a Christian, but if he is, please show him James 5:14-16
"14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. 16Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. I have read your posts and if I may point out a few things you may look at about Peter. I agree by using Matthew 16:18 making Peter what the Catholic Church is built on is misplaced because Jesus is the corner stone which the foundation is laid and if we look in Revelation 21:14 there twelve.
You may think of Peter being cowardly for denying Jesus but remember he was the one who cut off the ear of that guy when they came to arrest Jesus, and Peter was the only one who followed them to where they took Jesus. Did Peter repent, it is not written the words he said but it does tell us he went out, and wept bitterly, Matthew 26:75. Also Jesus made him say he loved Him three times, John 21:15-17.
There is one thing to keep in mind, even though Jesus told them several times, Jesus being arrested, crucified, buried, and resurrected was hidden from them. Luke 18:32-34. Then Jesus told them when He met and ate with them and opened their eyes where they would understand, Luke 24:44-47. In Matthew 16:22 Peter thinking Jesus was going to set up the kingdom there was no way he was going to be killed and the purpose of His death was hidden from them and Satan.
All during the time they were with Jesus they thought He was going to set up the kingdom then. They even asked Him before He ascended, Acts 1:6 and I am sure Peter and the others were confused thinking Jesus was going to set up the kingdom but here He is arrested and possibly going to be killed.
The reason you see a difference in Paul, Peter and the other 11 were told to only go to the lost sheep of Israel, Jerusalem first, to the Jews first, this is why the early battles about the Gentiles not having to be circumcised and obey the law. Acts 15, Peter had his dream in Acts 11. It was a learning curve for them that it took some time, but it is part of fulfilling prophecy.
If you considered this already, please disregard just thought it would help.
God bless,
