I have 3 prayer requests. First, please keep my relationship with God in Prayer. I am struggling with sin, and my heart is harden. I don't read my Bible or Pray, and everytime I try, I am distracted. I don't know what to do. Please pray for Divine Intervention, that my eyes and heart are open to Him again. Second, please keep me in prayer for a Good paying Job. I got my degree last year, but I don't know what I want to use it for. I know, I should know, but I don't. Please pray that God can open my eyes to where he wants me in that, and also that He can guide me to a Job for it as well. Third, keep me in prayer for a Godly Future Spouse. I am in my 30s, and don't have a girlfriend, and do get lonely. Please pray that God can provide me a Godly Women of His Choosing. One he has picked for me, in who will love me for me, even with my struggles, as the Lord does. Thanks.

  • Grace - In Reply on Psalms 96 - 4 years ago
Donna, I thank God as well that He healed you and so many others who trusted in Him from Covid. Psalms 96 is truly a magnificent psalm of praise. As I begin this new day my heart is bowed down with praise and thankfulness to God for He IS great and greatly to be praised! Let's enter into His courts with thanksgiving , bringing the offering of praise and gratitude! Who will go with me???:-)

I want to know where all the other people came from. Did God create many people or did he create Adam and Eve to fill the earth?

  • Theopilus Lowe on Genesis 1 - 4 years ago
When the the statement let us make man in our own image is made. Who is the us that's implied?

Some would say the Father the Son and the Holy spirit because it's easy to do. I'm searching for true understanding to have proof and evidence because I don't want to run away from these questions when contending with people while witnessing in the future.

Thanks be to Jesus the son of God. God is gracious and merciful to the sinner however we must be truthful with ourselves and know that even though God sees all and knows all we must repent and acknowledge our sins to him and ask for forgiveness, help and strength to overcome. Our help and strength comes from Jesus Christ and walking in his righteousness. God is a righteous judge who makes judgement on sin and just because we are under the grace through Jesus Christ does not mean we are to continue sinning God forbid

Yes, Jesus said that he will eat and drink in the Kingdom, so yes, we should eat and drink with Him!

    Luke 22:16-18

16 For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.

17 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:

18 For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.

    God Bless

Draw close to God, and He will draw close to you. How do you do that?

Pray. Just talk to him, just express what is in your heart, ask Him to forgive you of any sins you've committed, praise and thank Him, tell Him your needs and cares. Pray for others. Ask Him to show you what His will is for you, and He will show you through the Holy Spirit. Read His Word which will instruct you on how to walk. Try to find a church. May God bless you, Rebecca.

Chris The key to that event in my understanding and your correct it doesn't state what specifically Ham

did but again things that a man of God [which Noah was ]would state the action so bad that scripture states

cursed and also talking about His Son, this situation is where spirit is thicker than blood! This tells you where

Ham was at spiritually and his actions proved it. I suggest looking up things or actions taken that are considered

    CURSED by God.

It's written,God is Good. Sin originated in satan's free wil mind. It's written, God has determined a time, to put an end to the enemy of God! Jesus said that nobody knows when it will be, only The Father. We can read mathews on 24th chapter, where Jesus describes the main traits of human behavior and earth destruction, that precipitate the abreviation of those days. We are on those days, since the time predicted by ptophecy ( Daniel 8:14) ended in 1844, afer the 2300 days / years. Then, started the time for the proclamation of the impending second coming of Christ (Apocalypse 14:6). Another final event happened, when Noah, during 120 years, announced to the world, that deluge or flood, would come, as it came. When someone enters a house destroyin and killing, the victym is legaly authorized to use force to defend his family. Noah was God's family, Jesus said that His family are those who submit to God's will and moral Law, being Sabath, the authority's sign! God's Justice and Mercy coexist, in order to stablish Love and freedom. There is an evil agressor, who invaded the earth, and intends to destroy and kill, starting on Heaven, and after being expelled, came here, tryind to continue the fight to stablish his throne above God's Throne. God in His wisdom had already decided to create free will beings, and take upon Himself full responsability of the consequences of the rebellion, by assuming the creature's defence in case of an agreesion. How much time took the rebellion to ferment? We don't know.

His answer to devil's intent, was revealed on Jesus's sacrifice and victory, on the cross, at calvary's hill, as God's Lamb, who takes away world's sin.

Since then, darkness's powers are doomed, by that Heavenly Councill, that accepted Jesus's sacrifice and Justice!

Jesus interceeds on Heaven's Sanctuary, for whosoever repents, believing on Jesus's blood mrits, and deciding for a new life, in Christ, by Holy Spirit's Power, To Trine God Almighty's Glory! men!Aleluia

Hi Lydia. Not sure what you're referring to as "sermons on Suddenly". I'm guessing you might be referring to the word, 'suddenly', appearing in Acts 16:26, "And suddenly there was a great earthquake".

You can check out the discussions on this Scripture by going to it first, then clicking on the verse itself until it highlights, & then going to the bottom of the page and click on 'Discussions'. You'll see comments to other peoples' question on this. But if you need a specific question answered on "Suddenly", maybe you could expand your question with a Bible reference & some added comments to help answer you better. Thank you.

    Hello Sister,

The Lord Jesus is the word of God; so you can read alot in your bible, then you are closer to him :)

You can also do less worldly things and pray alot or fast one day. Focus on the Lord, not on problems, wait for him.

Hi Adam. That's an interesting research. I had to cheat, forgive me, but found the following to add to your list:

    U2's song "40" (based on Psalm 40:1-3)

Johnny Cash's "He turned water into wine" ( John 2:1-11)

Carole King, "Where you lead" ( Ruth 1:16)

Kelly Clarkson, "Be Still" ( Psalm 46:10)

Queen, "The prophet's song" (based on the Genesis Flood account)

Elvis Presley, "His Hand in mine" (inspired from Psalm 23)

Rolling Stones, "Prodigal Son" ( Luke 15:11-32)

The Killers & Elton John, "Joseph, better you than me" (based on Joseph, Jesus' 'guardian')

Thank u "The Day of Pentecost and Following". It was refreshing to hear Katrina & The Waves - Walking On Sunshine (Official Video) :D.

1 Thessalonians Chapter 1:Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:

2 Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

    3 We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;

4 So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:

5 Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:

    6 Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;

7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,

8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

    9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

11 Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:

12 That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

I hand over the Word as it also says what has been enlightened to me, I am only a living proof of God's great Grace. And need so much much more, as darkness eats up the lights of people we love.

The Word Is Psalm 119:105 Jesus Kristus

Hi Leslie. There's a lot of stuff on the Web, much of it very persuasive & unfortunately, false. Each one needs to examine the evidence presented & decide on it. You've decided on 'viruses not being real'. I am of the other opinion until I can see 'real' evidence otherwise.

History has recorded some devastating viruses that have been far worse than what we've experienced lately. We have had the Black Death of the 14th Century; the various plagues (American, London, Marseille, Russian); Philadelphia Yellow Fever; Flu Pandemic; Polio Epidemic; Spanish Flu; Asian Flu; AIDS; Swine Flu; Ebola; Zika; & many others. I can't discount all of these historical records putting them down to government deception - and certainly not to 5G technology.

And when viruses are clearly seen, such as smallpox & polio, etc., it would be hard to deny them. Yes, our bodies are equipped to fight all manner of diseases, but when our bodies are not healthy in the first place or the virus overwhelms our body's ability to fight, then we have to suffer. And when I think of families who have lost otherwise healthy loved ones to Covid, it would be hard for them to deny such a virus. Maybe, you haven't lost a loved one in this way - sadly it sometimes takes a personal experience of the disease to convince us, bringing home to us its reality.

Dear Snowdean1. Pleace follow me in peace.

    Some examples:

Leviticus 27:v 30. And all the tithe of the land, whether of the corn of the earth, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD's; it is holy to the Lord.

    There are more:

Deuteronomy 14:22 Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year.

This is the tax that the Governors should have.

Later, tax was levied on taxes. As it is in today's society.

Matthew 22:21 They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.

Thank you for your attention. And may God bless us all in the One Name above all Names, Jesus Christ. He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Love u in Christ.

Dear "Rebecca". We pray for you dear every day and you can join Jesus' Holy Name. Know that we struggle daily with powerful invisible authorities. If u dont believe in Jesus yet. So say out loud with your mouth. Thank you Jesus. If you do not have a Bible, you have one available here around the clock. See how long it has been since you came up with your pray topic. But this web covers the whole globe. :) Do not be sad and bored.

    Thank you Jesus! And pray:

Matthew 6: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

He will set you free and turn away the hopelessness. Then you will feel peace and joy. Sort your thoughts and enjoy your days. If you look at the pages here, you will find a prayer of salvation that you can read out loud. Then confess to the people around you that you have been saved. Good luck, Hope too see you again here soon. And that you have become free.

God bless you in His Holy Name Jesus Christ.

    Hello all,

I was just thinking about how much the Bible has influenced society and culture. Many phrases from movies, songs, people, places, and expressions originate from the Bible. So, I thought I'd list the ones I know of.

"Writing on the wall" from Daniel 5:5. I've heard this in many song lyrics, like Sam Smith, Ted Nugent

Lick (or bite) the dust?, Psalms 72:9. Queen?

These phrases I've heard various places in songs and TV, but can't think of where currently:

Skin of my teeth, Job 19:20.

Love of money is root of evil. 1 Timothy 6:10

Pride before a fall? Proverbs 16:18

A time for... Ecclesiastes 3. The Byrds - Turn! Turn! Turn!

    Can anyone think of more?
