Heavenly Father, There are many requests here in this forum. I just want to to start this prayer out by thanking You Lord for each person who thought to ask for Your help. Lord I'm so thankful for that. They(we) could've went anywhere looking for help but Lord we've come to You!

I ask You humbly Lord to forgive our sins, save all that are seeking salvation , bring the backslider home Lord safely back to the fold. We need Your help. We thank You for Your love and mercies that are new each day. We pray over each request left here in this forum bringing these precious souls before the throne. Please help them Lord. Heal them. Guide them. Direct them. Cover them. Help them to abide in You bless them and help all of us to hear Your voice in the midst of so very many voices shouting out for our attention. I thank You Lord. A wonderful psalm that exalts the Lord and all His glorious works to save man from the sins that so easily beset us. And warns against confidence in mankind and in prince's that can not do what God did and is doing to exalt His glorius plans to bring in Jesus the Christ of God the Father as mankind's Prphet, Prist, and King of the earth. Praise the one true living God and Father in Jesus Holy name for His goodness and His wonderful works to the children of men. Amen.

Most scripture is easy to understand, if read with honesty and sincerity, and "accepted into our heart and mind as stated". God wants us to understand!

Where we run afoul, is when we ignore some scripture, or we try to make scripture mean something that is abnormal.

in His reign. The grace is God did not take His spirit from Him and Solomon was His successor. When David walked

out of fellowship and for sometime because that didn't happen overnight, then he no longer had Gods protection.

Same is true today if a believer decides to buck against God, his hands are tied.

When will those who claim to be Christians and the church will act as such. Instead of empty words of comfort, they won't precisely support him, taking groceries, seeing what needs he is really going through, and needing to be remedied. The true church meets one another's needs as a true spiritual family. You don't want to live like a church, so you push all responsibility to God. And so they excuse themselves from their responsibilities as a church, and in this way they were no more than hypocrites playing at believers.

It would have been very interesting & noteworthy if that murderer who was spared, & Jesus Who was put to the Cross in his place, became a team-mate to Saul (Paul), but unfortunately that was not so. I think you're referring to Barabbas who was due to be crucified that day ( Luke 23:13-25; and Apostle John refers to Barabbas as a robber, John 18:40). We know that Barabbas had several charges against him: sedition, murder & also robbery, showing how much anger the Jews had in their hearts against Jesus, that such a criminal as Barabbas was thought more worthy of freedom than their Messiah Who only did good to them & came to give His Life for them.

And then we have Barnabas, as you mentioned, with a similar sounding name to Barabbas. Barnabas' actual name was Joseph, but he was called Barnabas because he was known for being an encourager & consoler ( Acts 4:36). And you will learn many more good things about him as you go through the Book of the Acts of the Apostles. Keep up the good work Eric.

See also Revelation and see if you can find anything about the end times there. Day, time and year do not matter. What we need is to know that Jesus Christ is in the heart.
