1Peter 5:7
I believe God has purpose. And the side its painful to accept but like the verse I share go to God humble yourselves and accept as your personal Saviour. For I know the Lord Jesus Christ loves and careth for you.
He loves you and would make everything right in His own time. Trust Him
God loves you
PSALM 147:3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
ISAIAH 41:10 (kjv) Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."
I am so sorry to hear about your daughter. My prayer for you:
YHWH, God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, I bring this sister to you. I lay her down at the feet of our Messiah Christ Jesus our Lord. I ask that You pour out Your love and blessings on her. Heal her from any pain, whether spiritual or physical, and comfort her in Your loving arms. Help her and guide her and protect her from the perilous pestilence, the midday demon (Ps.91) and all forces of darkness coming against her. Thank You for the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. Thank you for the Truth - that Jesus Christ conquered death and ascended to heaven. We praise and glorify Your Holy Name. Amen.
Blessings to you, my sister.

I fully agree with you. There are many great women who are far more capable of teaching and in my opinion (for whatever it's worth) can do a much better job than some of the men teachers. I don't think any of us can argue that women would not be able to do a fine job. But the question I have to ask is does God's word allow for a woman to pastor a church?
In 1 Timothy Chapter 2 beginning at Verse 11, Paul is giving Timothy instruction concerning church function. I see nothing there to suggest that he gives the okay for a woman to fulfil the role of a pastor. 1 Timothy 2:11-12 seem to stand out for me.
We're talking about doctrinal issues in the church. A woman is not to teach, nor to take the authenticity of man, but to be in silence. That's just what he said. They are to learn in silence. How can that happen if the woman is the one behind the pulpit teaching the men?
It's not talking about women not having the same ability or being better than a man, or a man being better than a woman. It has nothing to do with that. It has to do with God's proper order in the church and how the church is supposed to function. God's proper order is God/Christ/Man/Woman, in that order. This has nothing to do with a woman's ability to teach or to say that she is less than the man. I believe many women have a greater teaching ability than some of the men.
But God's word still does not allow the woman to be placed in a position of authority over the man in the church and that's why she's not allowed to pastor a church, even though many women still do!
Please know that I have nothing against women, and nothing against their ability to be great teachers. And like I said, the points you make about women's abilities to do a great job cannot be argued, at least I can't argue with you there. I just don't believe they should pastor a church. Unless I can see some concrete doctrinal statement that says otherwise, I have to stick with what Paul says about the matter.
Deuteronomy 30:19
I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live,
Be blessed my sister in Christ.
How I wish I lived closed to you but for now, I'm with you in the spirit and my heart are truly broken with you. I know exactly how you feel - the brokenness, the questions, the anger, etc because my daughter was also cruelly murdered (9 years ago).
Being a child of Almighty God helped me 'survive'. I can only tell you how I managed and.
Firstly, I prayed and prayed and sometimes felt the Lord wasn't hearing me but His word is true and I reminded the Lord daily if His word and He was true to it. He carried me, He understood my tears, anger and questions (questions that I'll have the rest of my life). He comforted me through His word..read His word daily - ask Him to open His word to you as you read it. Pray 'without ceasing' - it can be done. In your mind, aloud and you'll find that you'll even pray in your sleep.
I remembered how Jesus forgave the murderer on the cross and said to Him, He'll see him in paradisWOW, really!!! So what was I to do?.very difficultly I had to forgive whoever did this to my girl. If Jesus can forgive, then we should forgive as well. I know my dear sister, it's very hard but you'll be a better person afterwards. You'll feel a release, you'll feel lighter and you'll grow even stronger in the Lord. This is not a overnight change, it takes time and a lot of faith and trust in the Lord to help you through all of this.
Another thing that helped me is what I'm doing right now - witnessing and inciuraging people who lost a loved one through murder. It strengthens me knowing I'm not alone in this but that there are so many others having to go through this cruel death of a loved one. Reach out, help where you can and receive that inner strength through witnessing how the Lord helped you through this.
I will be praying for you and believe me when I say, I love you and I know you can make it through the comforting strength, guidance and wisdom that the Lord gives you through the precious Holy Spirit
You were paid for by His blood as He suffered unimaginable pain levels on a chilly cross with likely a chilly breeze blowing on all His wounds.
Remembering also that the sufferings of this life are temporary and that until His coming, some tears must be.
We must comfort one another in loving word and in deed.
He is coming quickly and His reward is with Him.
Perhaps the pain we experience enables us to sympathize and empathize and thus minister until those that we can relate to..
Please see 2 Corinthians 1:4:
Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
II Corinthians 12:9 May you be comforted with His peace that passes all understanding .
Take this time out to draw near to Jesus pray more study your Bible and love your neighbor as you will love yourself.
