Happy New Year dear "Viktoria". God will explain to you what you need to cleanse yourself from. It can be coffee or anything you do before going to the Lord. I pray for this new year that all believing Jesus saved people give the Lord what He wants. First place in the morning.

Then he does the rest of the work with us and in us. 1-John-2-3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. So what is the meaning of those words?

Before you ask questions about what is right, know that in Jesus we love our brothers and sisters, it is a great advantage that you Love Jesus, love your brother and sister and love yourself so that you give your self food. The food we christian eat is in the word of God. For my part KJV. Today i got a word for rememering:

1 John 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

7 Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.

8 Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.

9 He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.

10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.

Because we must love so in order to fulfill Jesus' last and only commandment.

If we lives in the body of Christ and love stayes in us. Will He our Father in heaven fulfill His work in us, belive that. God bless u in the Holy Name of Jesus. Love u in Christ.

Gi Gi you do greatly err.....If God did not send Paul to water baptise , he did not send anybody to water baptise.

Paul tells us water baptism wd make the blood of no effect...Absolutely nothin can be added to what Jesus did at

Calvary As God is no respector of persons...Remember when Uzzah tried to steady the ark he wanted to help God

Gods, anger was so kindled against Uzzah God slew him there next to the Ark. We cannot help God when it cames to

to salvation..Thats what Peter was trying to do in Acts 10 & 11 Peter wanted to help God with water baptism in the purification proccess. The new covenant and Gods anger was kindled against Peter tells him 3 times what i have made clean, do not call common or unclean...Even in the natural when somebody tells ya something 3 times thats a rebuke

Obedience is better then sacrfice .When Jesus said its finish means don't try to add anything to it not water baptism or circumcision nothin period....All the unclean animals in that sheet was the Church that was made Clean by the BLOOD OF THE LAMB NOT WATER BAPTISM, tHAT Peter was commanding. Thats y Paul was so reluctant to water baptise, he feared it wd make the BLOOD of no effect...Jesus himself tells his own disciples that if he did not wash them they wd have no part with him and they

they had ALL been Preveously water baptised . Which speaks volumes of a greater baptism of the Blood of the lamb and a new covenant. It was his blood that initiated that new covenant ...As the book that new covenant was written with his own BLOOD not water....We cannot apply water to the doorposts of our hearts, Only Blood cd be applied to the

Doorpost under the old covenant.....But now under this new covenant only the Blood of the lamb will suffice....Peter was trying to help God just like Uzzah was trying to help God by steading the ARK ...But nothin can be added to what Jesus did at Calvary, ..Its finish. But Peter didn't understand, nothin can be added to Calvary.

People in Sweden are now taking a chip into their hands to identify they've been fully vaccinated. It is linked to the internet.

Thank Bill Gates and Zuckerberg and others. The Five.

Reality is that a nation on the other side of the Pacific Ocean accidentally or intentionally, exposed a deadly virus to earth. In history there were past Corona virus outbreaks. CDC put that info on Google to be read.

I get a flu shot every year. More people die from flu than covid.

You Can take all your illnesses to Jesus. Your faith has to be educated (Bible) and exercised. Read in the 4 Gospels about how Jesus healed people. How did they touch Jesus with their need.

Touch Jesus with your faith now:

I pray against sickness in my coming and going. I pray against any form of sickness coming near me, my family, or near my vicinity. I claim my healing against: (speak your disease out now) in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I declare by the power and authority of the Holy Ghost, that no illness, spirit of infirmity or sickness attack from the enemy shall prevail against me in Jesus's mighty name. I am covered by the Blood of Jesus.

I confess Jesus Christ as my infinite Healer, and by His holy stripes and mighty authority, I declare that I am totally healed from the top of my head to the soles of my feet.I render every satanic attack against me bound and cast out into outer darkness and dry places forever. Every evil spirit of sickness, must bow down right now to the authority that is in the name of Jesus Christ.

I say with confidence that I am the healed of the LORD Jesus Christ. I cover myself and family with Christ's precious holy blood of Jesus and I declare by His power and righteousness, dominion and authority that it shall continue to be well with me and my family.

In Jesus of Nazareth holy name. Praise His Name!

Hallelujah. Bless the Lord, Oh My Soul, I am healed!!

It's in the Bible. It's hard to find it. You have to have the King Kong of reference Bible. Center of each page reference columns.

Start in Genesis and follow the reference (a-b-c) notes in the center page to other scriptures; and on and on. List them in a notebook, and show the break-off to other scriptures. There's little nuggets of Genesis tucked all over. Info expanding time, force, action, matter. The Nible actually says God turned the earth UPSIDE DOWN. there's a keyword.

Earth was 3 billion years old before Genesis 1:1.

Scientists have proven with space study and vehicles that all planets show evidence as all having water at one time. They see the ocean and lake beds. Only Earth has water. Facts.

Only Earth has gravity, an ozone layer to protect us from dangerous rays.

ALL things are held together by the WORD OF HIS POWER. Everything is for life and happiness.

Everything we know and see; fig up out of the earth; carbon date, go banana's over: we're placed there by God because of Romans 1. So we could only prove the existence of God. If we fail to do that; we are WITHOUT EXCUSE (on judgment day)

It takes MORE intelligence just to believe God purposed all this; the Word spoke it into existence and the Holy Spirit performed it.

I don't argue stuff the Holy Spirit taught me. I log many hours sitting in a closet with Him_ asking for Light. Email Him.

I stay focused with a sure point of reference. 2 Peter 3. The earth is heating up for the firey end of everything. I don't know about y'all but I can't wait to see what happens next!

Prairie chickens only see what's on the ground, like grasshoppers. The eagle flys way up by the clouds looking for a meal. The prairie chickens never see what hit them. I love that story.

I've told this before, but I see new faces.

I was saved out of Astrology. I was practicing and as a result " serving Satan." After I was saved, I had demonic beings try to scare me to death. Sometimes every day

I would go to a church that would "cast out the demons" before church started. Demons would say, "YOU better come with us!" I would hold on to my chair white-knuckled. One day, a Baptist !!! Gave a word of knowledge about me. Like the woman at the well. I was born again, Spirit filled; but I wasn't healed. Boy did I get healed!

A month later I was to be BAPTIZED IN WATER at my request. I was drawing "a line in the sand". No more demonic attacks! This was me saying I belong to Jesus Christ and no other. He is MY LORD forever.

I was able to read the Bible and understand everything. I tuned out the noise of the world, and asked the Holy Spirit to teach me EVERYTHING. No holds barred I asked the Lord to erase all the memory of stars, planets and geometrical aspects. Take it out of me. He did. It's cool kind of amnesia.

I Needed to honor My Lord by being water baptized. I wanted the slate clean. If they had refused I woulda gone somewhere else.

Do not discourage people like me who need to make a public statement (to creepy demons) that I'm doing this for me, in the sight of Jesus, for the glory of God.

6 weeks later, I'm in with a bunch of street evangelists. God called me. It's lasted 36 years. One on one, cold contact, door to door, dropping tracts outside Goodwill and Home Depot :D

If people came in here to find the God that offers Salvation, WHAT will they see? Where is the fruit of the Holy Spirit_ the patience of our Lord Jesus?

Job1_try to remember that Satan stealthily stalks his victims. He's a watcher. Always looking for an opening to cause the brethren to erupt in controversy. My experience: he's vile, violent, murderous heart, steals joy and peace; adores riots (look in our streets).

    Discern the spirits.

I see by understanding Bible's teaching, and the comunion with God through The Holy Spirit, and by faith on Jesus's intercetion, that most psalms apply to The Messiah as The second Adam and simultaneously God's Begotten Son. Meaning by that, Who is The messiah and what woud hapen to Him as man, entirely submited to Gosd and dependent on Holy Spirit's Power and protection to resist devil's tentation and seduction lies. Jesus resist using divine Power as sugested by satan. Jesus goes ahead of us, his disciples, and commands : Follow Me, and where I wil go, shall you go, as I am wil you become, what I do shall you do also, and even on a larger scale, into all the world. I send my disciples into the world, men like me, as I am David's son. Christ's total and perfect manwhood, andjustice, from a sinless life, is the ground that allows God, to save us, as He ressurected His Begotten Son, after the aknowledgement of the 24 Elders council, in heaven!

    1 Timothy Chapter 6

    18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;

19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:

21 Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.
  • Adam - In Reply on Deuteronomy 25 - 4 years ago
Amen, I agree with your points. We wrestle with the flesh and can even resist obeying God, whether that's pride, stubbornness, or another stronghold. Satan works in tiny increments, so a tiny resistance one day, might grow into a larger resistance another day, and can keep growing into total disobedience and even rejection of the faith. Just like sin is a slippery slope with the tinest little compromise justified for various false reasons, then another, and in time someone can end up in a place they never expected, because they were deceived and believed a lie. The same old tricks by the evil one. We're called to keep our armor of God on, and be on watch and on guard, and keep each other accountable and keep our faith and trust in God. God bless...
  • Jesse - In Reply on Luke 17 - 4 years ago
    Tony,

I'd like to also share with you my perspective on Luke 17:9-10.

In Luke 17:9, Jesus says " Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him?"Jesus said, I think not.

Verse 10: So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

So if you ever get into a position, a mind frame or an attitude in life that you think that things are going wrong and that God owes you, just remember that when we serve Him day and night, we are only doing what He asked us to do. It is not a bonus.

Then He says we are unprofitable servants.

The Greek word for unprofitable is useless. Useless! At our best in our human effort we are useless. But when God gives us the faith He does great things. But you see it's not to our credit. It is what God does through us, and if God works through us all day and all night, that is all to His credit. If we did it, we'd just be unprofitable servants only doing the minimum.

Anyway, that's what I understand this to be saying!

    GiGi.

Again you are arguing the wrong narrative.

If not you haven't supplied any scripture supporting you MUST be water baptized to be saved!!

    However

We see the transition starting with John the baptist as the for runner.

    Matthew 3:8-11.

John's baptism was the baptism of repentance. what was it they needed to turn from? Judaism!!

How did he baptize? With water!

Was it for salvation? No he was preparing the way for salvation. Matthew3:9. Suggest their confidence was in being children of Abraham and the seal of circumcision.

Verse 10 " The axe is laid at the root!!

There goes the degenerate vine, on comes the true vine or genuine vine. One Jews and Gentiles will be joined to. now we see a transition taken place. They were Identified with Judaism by circumcision, now they are to be Identified to Christ by baptism. And to express there belief by water baptism as the Jews did by circumcision.

Then comes Jesus to be baptized by John. For salvation? YES, OURS!!

He was to fulfill all righteousness!

He was Identifying with all who would come to him. He was going to bare our sins on the cross.

GiGi. There has never been a tread where I said I believe a Christian shouldn't be baptized.

I'VE SAID IT WASN'T FOR SALVATION.

Arkieguide The only evidence of what was alive before on the current earth we live on is fossils and the best of

scientific minds are guessing. Then there is how old is the earth, no one really knows but what Gods Word says

    S. Spencer Brother I agree because the definition of Grace is Divine [UNMERITED FAVOR] God to man.

Before law Noah found GRACE or favour in the eyes of God. God favoured Abraham Isaac Jacob before the law

then to give his adopted children Israel direction in print he gave the Law all over 400 of them and then still needed

sacrifice for breaking fellowship or sinning and it was displayed via the senses a sacrifice. Now we have the eternal

sacrifice given Jesus Christ and the eternal unmerited gift given when believed holy spirit and forgiveness when we

verbally confess our broken fellowship and of course mean it.

    S. Spencer I'm with you on this because under Paul's ministry to the gentiles and in the church epistles water

baptism is not specified but baptism is stated and when you work the word baptise which can mean a pouring over

with water dipped in water or complete and internal cleansing spiritual. In Acts 9:17+18 when Paul was called out

the word baptised is internal and water is never mentioned. This action was given at the end of the law under John

the baptist ministry to prepare Israels hearts for the messiah before pentecost the spiritual birthday of the church. That

being said I have not apposed to it but getting the Job done Requires Romans 10:9+10 in the age of Grace according

    to Paul's epistles.

    requires Romans 10:9+10

  • GiGi - In Reply on Deuteronomy 25 - 4 years ago
Sorry spencer, you are assuming a lot of things about me and my thinking on this matter. Like I said in the last post. I don't wish to re-hash, so I am bowing out of this conversation. If anyone wants to know more of what I have said, then they can go back a few weeks to see what was spoken about this topic then. I think I am very consistent in my thinking.

Then again, I do not find any scriptural support for your assertion that the church was in a transitional period and that somehow baptism in water ceased to be the norm for new converts. That is far from the truth as evidenced by historical documents kept by the early church and the practice throughout history. I also think that it is erroneous to put up such a view of Paul's commission to not baptize, but preach the gospel as being the normative for the apostles, disciples, and elders who served the church and the only acceptable practice among the churches. He was an evangelist, not an elder, bishop or overseer. One plants, another waters, and the Lord gives the increase.

  • S Spencer - In Reply on Deuteronomy 25 - 4 years ago
GiGi in that case apparently show should have bypass this one because This topic was whether water baptism was required for salvation or not. NOTHING ELSE!!

It expressed using the term correctly.

I agree that the apostles new exactly what the Lord had them to do, But sorry I believe you are gravely in error of what that was. And Paul said Jesus ( Sent him not to baptize) But to preach the Gospel!!

1 Corinthians 1:17. You have to be consistent in your view. You expresses Matthew 28:19. BUT PAUL SAYS HE SENT HIM NOT TO BAPTIZE. And the scripture doesn't say anyone baptized for him..

If Paul would have been the Apostles to the Jews he would have been commissioned to baptize as well.

He would have been involved in this transition.

But this was not a commandment defined the way the commandment is defined in the ten commandments. To command as mentioned in Matthew is the act of Power.

Anything you add to the finish work of Christ is a heresy.

Again we NEVER was discussing an act of obedience, Circumcision was commandment but Circumcision didn't save lives. It's a cutting away of the flesh. Another action pointing to the finish work on the cross, as well as water baptism. Many in the first century church believed water baptism was to was away the leprosy of sin.

The Lord didn't come to clean us up.

Baptism is where the old man dies and is born again!! not a spiritual bath.

From what I have seen many of those who hold this view don't stop there, They believe you can loose your salvation,

Salvation is by works not grace! You don't know your saved until you are Judged ect..

There seems to be an absence of Christ supplied faith if you don't Know.

John says we can Know by the love we have one for another.

We are given strength to obey God's word by the Spirit AFTER we have been saved.

and that's not to remain saved, It's because we are saved.

    And we shouldn't be partial.

We should obey Paul pastoral epistles as well. Don't you think?
