I want to state that Isaiah 6:1 where Isaiah refered to King Uzziah year of death has not impact or significance to him seeing God.He marely refered to the year the invent happened.The death of uzzziah did not cause Isaiah to see God.In the past major invents like wars, famines , deaths of very important people were used to point people to when that invent happened.So those that say your uzzziah must die in life for you to see or God to bless you are only miss interpreting scriptures and must go back and read the first sentence of the scripture

This is one of my testimonies, because I could write a book. I have been abuse all of my life, which made me do drugs, because i wanted to forget the sexual abuse by my uncle, who abuse me so much that a doctor said I could never have kids. I praise God today for how he bless me with four sons, three living and one decease. I was on crack cocaine for 19 years. In 1996 was a new beginning for me, because i was tired of never having anything in life but a crack pipe. I was homeless until I met a man name Herbert. He was a working addict, who kept a job and made sure I had a roof over my head. We was together for about 5 years, when I decided that I had enough, and I wanted to stop using. I had been too rehab over 20 times, with no luck at all. It was in the month of July when I decided to trust God. I was brought up in church, my grandfather was a preacher. I lived with my grandparents most of my life, the sins of my mother cause me to be treated different than my other cousins. My grandfather was mean to me all the time and he would beat me for things I didn't do which cause me to be depress, in other word I hated him for that. I felt like there was no love for me anywhere. I didn't understand how he could treat me that way being a preacher, which made me wonder about who God was. In 1996 God changed all of that. I remember as if it was yesterday, I got up on a monday morning, crying out to God, Lord if you take this cup from me I'll serve you until I die. I had a lot of trails and tribulations, but I made it through Gods grace and mercy. I went back to school and got my GED, and I have more than two years of college in criminal justice, on the deans list every semester and I have 2 president certificates. God has been so good to me, because all of my good days out weigh my bad days and i wont complain. But the most important thing in my life is that I'm a minister now. I am a fisher of men now, bringing my sisters and brothers to Christ. Thank you Jesus

Lord Jesus, Step into this situation and stop the abusive actions of this man upon this woman, the children and animals. Help the woman find a way to get out of this situation with the children and animals. Give her strength, protection, and financial/emotional support to make this move soon. Set this man aright in you so that he can be saved and made new in you. We pray this in Your name, Jesus. Amen.

Hey. When seeking God how do you know you are on the right track? Been reading scripture but learning how to read in context and how scripture possibly applies to current situation. I have been warned to not read verses out of context and do not want to misuse the Word.

I was searching on Google for the information I had read a while ago on this subject, but could not locate it. Perhaps we will not know what this light was or what it was like this side of heaven, but we can be sure that if the God commanded it, it happened as said in Genesis 1:3. somehow, we limit our thinking to what we know scientifically about light. We assume that the light source must be something like a sun. But God can do anything and He may have done something unique for that "day". But in keeping with the language used in Genesis "Let there" I believe that it was a created light, not His radiance because His radiance is part of His essence and cannot be created or taken from Himself, as far as classic theological viewpoints go.

Lots to think about.

Exactly, Anna. We live in a world corrupted by sin. Our bodies can be harmed by so many things, even just by breathing toxins in the air. I trust them Lord to keep my body in such a way that it can fulfill its work in this life. And in the past, everyone decided for themselves what medical treatments they wish will be best for them. We can do that with covid vaccines and treatments as well. Our bodies are not the end all. We have a higher calling than to just be concerned overly concerned about how we "keep" our bodies from harm. We can be cautious and make daily decisions that are healthy, but many things that arm our bodies are unseen and unavoidable. That is why we have medications to assist in overcoming illness or preventatives. But, as I said, and you said, let each of us decide for ourselves for ourselves, and respect what others decide for themselves.

Precious heavenly father I lift up David's prayer list to you tonight. Please move with immense compassion and great power in the lives of David, Kristy, Jessica, Deanna,their families, Gary, Jim, the baby, David's coworkers.
