Hi Adam There's is a major principle to consider in this the Age of Grace, this is man's day where man is doing the

judging in the world. That's why Paul stated in 1 Corinthians 4:3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be

judged of you or mans judgement yea I judge not my own self. The word says be angry and sin not or don't break fellowship because the anger of man worketh not the righteousness of God. In this day and age by Gods grace

like no other time in history God is closing His eyes so to speak to a lot of stuff. But when the day of The Lord Comes

Then Somethings going to Hit the Spiritual Fan so to Speak. Our commission is to speak the truth in Love and each

man or women makes up there mind accept or reject until the gathering together. After that look out!
  • TWO TREES IN THE GARDEN - In Reply - 4 years ago
WHAT happened to the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil??

    Revelation 22:2

1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the TREE OF LIFE which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

God had two trees in the Garden of Eden. The Trees were FOR A CHOICE.

One Tree was for Eternal Life.

One Tree was for the Knowledge of Good and Evil.

All of the OTHER trees were given for food and enjoyment

[The first 2 trees were forbidden to be eaten from.]

TEMPTATION entered the Garden. Lucifer in the body of a snake. He wasn't human, so he had to borrow a body. Adam was with Eve. Lucifer approached the woman (help meet).

See, God gives us choices. We are responsible for our choices. Eve was drawn to choose separateness from God; knowledge apart from God, leverage and personal gain. (things Lucifer was suggesting). Maybe Eve craved TO BE EQUAL to God or Adam?

She didn't choose Eternal Life. Eternity in sin and separation. Satan was after the Dominion given to humans. He went after "the weaker vessel."

God immediately protected the Tree of Life with a flaming sword. To protect them from spiritual death and separation. And you can read of the judgments of Adam having to cultivate and provide their own food; Eve suffering through childbirth, etc. And the history of mankind on earth, separated from God, began for all peoples.

However, in Genesis 3:15, is told of a future day (the Cross of Jesus) of restoration of relationship to God, would be paid in blood, by Jesus Christ__who was and is, THE TREE OF LIFE.

Revelation 22:2 (where the Tree is now).

The tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil is inside of us. Either we CHOOSE LIFE ETERNAL; or we live until we die, separated forever, spiritually dead.

Bro. Jesse the foot washing was just a sign of what the Word does to our hearts as Jesus said its the things that

proceeds from the HEART OF MAN that defiles HIM, BUT TO EAT WITH UN WASHED HANDS ( OR FEET ) DEFILETH NOT A MAN. but he says that he gave them an examply that if he washed their feet they should wash one anothers feet .But he

did everything in parables and metaphors . But the foot washing was just SIGMBOLIC of mans EVIL heart washing as Jesus said its the things that come from the HEART that defiles a man . And we should wash our brother's feet with the word as he said you are made clean by the word i have spoken unto you ,the living word which is the H.G. As the kingdom is gonna be with in US. As Christ The H.G. IS GONNA BE WITH IN US THUS WE WILL BE CLEAN ABLE TO MAKE OUR FRIENDS HEARTS CLEAN MATTHEW 15 : 18...Outa the hearts of man proceeds all manner of evil murder thefts adultry

forications All these things come from the Hearts and it defiles the man .Thus the foot washing was really a heart washing.

I have to go to PT in a bit, but I want to respond to your situation. Meanwhile I think you should encourage yourself from this "stomach blow" you're feeling.

On YouTube, listen to the album, Kingdom in the Streets, by DION. Especially the song, "He Hears Them All."

You gotta learn how to punch the Devil's lights out, later. Prepare.

It's all good. I was studying that a few days ago myself. Trying to find info and then the Lord asks "why".

Well Gee Lord, He wrote the marriage chapter. Shouldn't I check on his status as a maybe husband or not?

    Silence. Which usually means no.

I'd love to hear opinions , with Bible scripture about how people feel the anti christ will use the Covid vaccine against Christian's. I can see how it's being used to track people and control who works but I'm having a hard time tying it into scripture

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Ok sorry for that brother ! Yeah assumptions are dangerous.

This topic is red hot at the moment with all thats going, on its a great trial for us believers I think.

I love the report about the disciples how they couldnt wait for the Lord and went into the boat without him,

and got hit by the storm.

Rick GBU but you are not understanding there were none righteounsess no not one ,The whole world is the same,

We need the blood of the lamb . Paul didn't need tweeking, he needed a new heart and a new SPIRIT THAT NEW Creature which is the Child of PROMISE a new innerman. NEITHER CIRCUMCISION NOR UNCIRCUMCISION but a new Creature is the only thing that pleases God. Paul said he was the Chiefest of sinners like we ALL ARE ACCORDING TO OUR FLESH. In our flesh dwells no good thing....We need that baptism of fire which is the H.G. THAT CHILD OF promise . Thats y Jesus said blessed are them that follow me in the Regeneration , When the sower will go forth to sow his seed in our hearts he will regenerate himself with his seed the word sown in our hearts . Thats y he calls himself the son of man, Mankind is gonna have a baby Christ which is the H.G The Child of PROMISE. Thats y we must be bornagain of again incorruptible seed which is the seed of Christ the living word That new covenant that he wrote with his own blood.

Paul's Marital Status It wasn't mean't to waste time or offend we were just getting briefly in the depth

if background historically to enrich understanding. That's the purpose of a commentary. So that being

Thank you, I agree that its easy to get to sucked into the soap opera media. I noticed you used the word anger a few times assuming my emotional state, but I didn't say I was angry. I was upset which to me is a state of concern. I think its appropriate to dislike injustice and be disgusted over evil. Jesus displayed some of that. We are to love everyone, pray for them, and forgive them for their wrongs. This seems like the biggest challenge to me, rather than merely trying to limit an emotional reaction. I know God will make all things just and fair in the end, but in the meantime it's hard seeing people temporarily 'get away' with evil in this life.

Jesse Brother I was told something long time ago by a cool brother, he never sees error, he always

sees potential for change and growth. Thought that was a great statement! By the way nice comment!
  • Rick - In Reply - 4 years ago
Brother I'm convinced that if you don't get into culture background and language of the times of the

scriptures you miss out on a lot of understanding of what God is communicating, that's just my opinion.

One example I looked at recently old testament Proverb 6:32 the word understanding =heart that puts an

entirely different importance of the result of act committed. Good Stuff!

    Amen Brother Jesse!!

That's the way I've heard it taught and that is what I believe even more so.

I was viewing it as we're the car buyers and perhaps Satan was the instrument by which he was to be tested, The Dealership/Spirit sent him out on the test run. Matthew 4:1.

Boy! I hope noone read this but you!!

This is where I need Brother Chris to put this in English for me. Lol

    God bless.
  • Paul's Marital Status - 4 years ago
    From 16 hours ago

What does Apostle Paul's former marital status if he had one) have to do with anything?

It Has nothing to do with whether we accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Paul was hunting down Christians and killing them in the name of the Emperor. He had Steven the evangelist, stoned to death. He was on his way to Damascus to order some more deaths, when Jesus confronted him.

As a believer, Paul endured much persecution, physical trauma, imprisionments, stoning, running for his life, chained to a Roman guard (who got saved). He had a thorn in the flesh. (I have a thorn in the flesh. It's no picnic!)

But Paul was not the winner in persecutions. The other Apostles suffered heinous deaths also. Jesus chose each and everyone of them. He can do anything with a willing Believer. Even us.

We can answer their questions and win some to Christ__or present more questions than answers.

    Rick,

    Sorry, John 13:6, not Matthew.
  • Jesse - In Reply - 4 years ago
    Brother Rick,

Amen to that! Jesus was teaching His disciples about humility. History tells us that household slaves did the job of foot washing, but not a Hebrew or Jewish person. Even if a Hebrew or Jewish person was a slave, they did not lower themselves to wash someone's feet.

Now can you imagine Jesus getting ready to wash the disciples' feet, and that it was a shame and an embarrassment for a Hebrew slave to do that task? It had to be somebody else other than a Hebrew slave that would wash the guests' feet.

So now here's Jesus approaching Simon Peter in Matthew 13:6, and He's getting ready to wash Peter's feet. And Peter wasn't having anything to do with it. In Peter's mind, he's probably thinking that Jesus, being a Jew, he cannot wash anyone's feet. That's the job of a slave, a servant. Peter says in verse 8 "You shall never wash my feet."

Peter is not trying to be rebellious. He is trying to be courteous in the sense that first of all, no Jew should be washing anyone's feet! But Jesus Himself, the Master, the Rabbi is doing it? Peter says "You are never going to wash my feet." Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.

So Jesus is teaching humility. Jesus is taking the "low-road" in the form of a servant. And as you say, Jesus is setting the example on how they will need to love and serve each other when He's gone. Jesus says in John 13:15, "For I have given you an (example), that ye should do as I have done to you.

What I notice is that Jesus did not say that you should do "what I have done" to you, but you should do "as I have done" to you. He is saying that I took the position and function, the menial task, the lowest task that even a Jewish or Hebrew person would not even do, even if they were a slave, and this is what you are to do for one another. Humility!

Our brothers and sisters in Christ must come first, even before ourselves. That's what it's all about!

The mother of my son a daughter keeps the kids from me because she's mad at me. We had a fallout August 7th and she didn't allow me to see our son till I filed paperwork for visitation. She has returned every card that I've sent my son. Our daughter was born on September 7th and I had to do the same with her. I have yet to see our daughter! She was born with Prader Will Syndrome and is still in the hospital! It does drive me crazy but I have to give it to God.

It was good food for thought. Made us think and consider this portion of man's history in light of God's overall (or Pen-ultimate) purpose and plan for creation. It is all about His glory.
