In the King James Version there is no incarnation, but here is the definition for incarnation - a person who embodies in the flesh a deity, spirit, or abstract quality. (in Christian theology) the embodiment of God the Son in human flesh as Jesus Christ. John put it this way

John 1: 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2The same was in the beginning with God.

1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

1 John 4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

We as christains say the word was manifested in a fleshly form. The word that was spoken to mary was manifested into a flesh and blood as a baby.

    God Bless

Brother Chris, You can never make the words of God have continuity as long as you believe God is going to send his creation to hell.

The Parable was to the house of Judau, if they didn't understand the gospel they would suffer death, if they understood the gospel they would never see death, but be translated to the likeness of Christ, the kingdom of God.

If the saints are going to judge the world in righteousness, what would be the purpose of that Judgement.

Psalms 94:10 He that chastiseth the heathen, shall he not correct? he that teach man knowledge, shall he not know?

Brother Chris, man nor anything else can exist without LIFE and there is only one LIFE and that LIFE is Christ.

All creation has CHRIST IN YOU. They believe they have life of and in themselves, their deceived.

If Christ removed himself, man would cease to exist.

Creation's problem is they have no KNOWLEDGE, their void of TRUTH.

Christ came to destroy the works of the devil.

When Christ has put all thing under his feet, God will be ALL IN ALL.

Ephesians 4:6 There is one God and Father of all, and above all, and through all, and IN YOU ALL.

ALL CREATION, but they have no KNOWLEDGE.

Obadiah 1:21 And saviours shall come upon mount ZION to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD'S.

Isaiah 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the KNOWLEDGE of the Lord, as the ware covers the seas.

Brother Chris You and I and all the elect of God with our brother and Lord, Jesus Christ, are going to CAUSE this to happen when ALL MANKIND is resurrected back to their flesh, and JUDGED by the TRUTH of God's word. And God WILL BE ALL IN ALL.

Earl Again you don't read what's written never said physical star, have a nice day. I f you read scripture

the way you read comments it explains a lot.
  • Earl Bowman - In Reply on Leviticus 22:3 - 4 years ago
Brother Rick, if his star was a physical star it would have been visible to all people, Herod would not have ask the wise men to return and tell him where they found the Christ child, he could have followed the star as did the wise men.

Luke 2:9 And when they had heard the king, they departed; and lo, the star, which they say in the east went before them, till it came and stood over where the child was.

I really don't dwell much on this, because either way, It was the WORKS OF GOD.

Just reading some of the comments and arguments leads me to believe that Satan is succeeding in spreading confusion around the world and is using SOME that do not even realize they are helping him. Others may intend to do so. The statement says ----in plain words that "No one knows but the Father in heaven when Jesus will return". That's all it says and anything else is merely someone's ASSUMPTION or lie-----which causes confusion.

    HI Brother Dan.

Sorry but your comment misses the point.

We ALL Know there's different views.

But all views don't have anything to do with Christian faith.

Infact some views is an offense to the faith.

    That's why I posted 2 John 1:10-11.

How do you Interpret that verse?

HERE'S PAUL RESPONSE TO ONE THAT SUPPORTS A WORKS BASED SALVATION.

    Galatians 1:6-9.

    Galatians 3:1-29.

    How do you Interpret this?

    And this

    Matthew 7:6.

If one is preaching another Gospel How could he be Christian?

There's many views, But one truth.

I certainly don't know it all but I pray to have the courage to apply what little I do know!!

And these verses and many more seems to give value to my point.

    God bless.

  • Bro dan - In Reply - 4 years ago
    Hi Brother Spencer,

Is your interpretation of scripture/doctrine the only correct one? Christians have various views, and many Christians are evolving in their growth in the WORD.

I think this forum is working just fine. Everyone should be able to express their views on scripture as long as it is done in a respectful manner, as is already encouraged, and expressed in the rules of this forum.

    God Bless.

Good Morning Manasseh An interesting thing about Ecclesiastes after everything that is stated about all

Solomon knew and understood in verse 13 of Chapter 12 he ends with Let us hear the conclusion of the

whole matter Fear or respect God and keep his commandments for this is the whole duty of man. Which

Hosea 4:6 if you don't have the knowledge God or disregard it you will be eventually useless.

  • Chris - In Reply on Ecclesiastes 1 - 4 years ago
Hello Manasseh. We welcome all comments centred around God's Word & your question is a very good one.

When we look at both those references you gave, we could see contradictions (as you see also), but then a clearer understanding of them will give us more light. In Ecclesiastes 1:17,18, the author, Solomon, states that he was committed to gaining more wisdom. As a king, this was a very noble thing to desire so that he might rule well & give correct judgements for his people. But in his quest to acquire much wisdom which included learning & understanding what causes men to live foolishly & make wrong decisions in life, he found that his spirit was getting increasingly troubled. So he says, 'in getting wisdom & knowledge comes much sorrow'. Not that there was anything wrong with having more knowledge, but by understanding it better, the sorrows & inconsistencies of life, become more apparent & troubling. So, we have this oft quoted saying, 'ignorance is bliss'. Though not really true, but what it's saying is that 'if you don't know much about life, of people, & life's intricate threads, the less you will burden your mind & heart & fewer will be your pain & sorrows'.

Then in Hosea 4:6, we read, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." If we go back to verse 1, we read this indictment by God against Israel, "there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land." The people were disregarding God, indulging in sins & forgetting His directives to them about their behaviour one towards another. So here, God's people ought to be regarding the Laws He gave them & to show love & respect to one another, but they had forsaken God & His Word to direct them. When that happens, when God's people, then & now, refuse to obey God (i.e. refusing to receive knowledge of what He wants for them), then they will suffer isolation from God. In those days, God's Hand was heavy upon them, today, we will suffer spiritual poverty & feel that God is far from us. Blessings.

  • Chris - In Reply - 4 years ago
Hi John. No, I don't believe it's right to borrow from your parents, or anyone else, & not pay them back. It can be correct to do so if in the course of that thing being in your possession, that the lender instructs you to not return it back to them. Or, if you do return it & they then give it back to you to keep.

I had one instance of this many years ago; a poor man urgently needed a small amount of money to pay a debt. I knew it was a small amount so even if he defaulted in repaying it, I wouldn't have lost much. After a couple of months, he came back to me with the amount he borrowed, which he had put a little aside from a few week's worth of wages. He was happy to have come back to return the money & I appreciated this poor man's honesty & integrity to do so. He could have easily disappeared from the scene. I thanked him, shook his hand, took the money & then gave the money back to him as a gift. I lost nothing by doing this but wanted him to know that by being upright & honest in his dealings, maybe blessings will sometimes come.

Parents might easily forgive their child's debt to them if the child fails to return the thing lent, but the child will gain more by learning to do the right thing & the parents no doubt will be so happy that their son has indeed learned a valuable lesson as a result of their training him.

Dear Manasseh Dangana on Ecclesiastes 1.

Hoseas task was to explain about the sins of the people, the judgment is fixed and the covenant of God's love is fixed

Ecclleasiastes 1:18 For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.

It is a fact that with wisdom comes responsibility, too know or not too know.

God bless u in Christ may the Holy Spirit lead you to the whole truth.

John 1:48 Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.

49 Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.

50 Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these.

51 And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.

Agreed brother Alex. We should finalize this discussion on the relevance of Chanukah seen in other threads. You see it as part of that Old Covenant (which indeed has been done away & replaced by the New). I see it as just a time of remembrance by Israel of what had done for them. I don't consider that this remembrance (Chanukah) has anything to do with the matter of the Law, the sacrifices or the feasts. If it did, I would agree that all that is now done away with & fulfilled in Christ, the Author of the New Covenant & we, who have our hope in Christ, ought not to participate or partake in those festivities. Thank you for your time & GBU.

Earl Psalm 147:4 He telleth the number of the stars, he calleth them all by names. In Genesis 1:14 and God

said let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from night anfd let them be for sings and

for seasons and for days and for years. The word signs is the hebrew word avah [to mark something specifically]

    an event to take place.

In antiquity the names of the stars were given Psalms 147:4 again he calleth the stars by names, and those

names are specific by design Gods. The greeks called stars planets wandering asteres in there close location are so close we can follow there motion. The magi over a few years time were watching a planetary conjunction that involved

mercury messenger planet with venus the bright and morning star planet with Regulus known as heart of the lion i.e.

lion of Judah and finally Jupiter which is known as the Kings planet also Hebrew name is ssedeq meaning righteousness.

these planets in the rotation got within .23 degrees of each other and would have appeared as one single bright star.

The magi would have known this because the Persians studied the heavens in depth, also some of them worshipped

the wrong way. Also this planetary conjunction happened over bethlehem in the constellation virgo i.e. virgin on the elliptical horizon. Look that one up Earl.
