God does not contradict Himself. Those apostles He called to preach the gospel were instructed as to what it was by either Jesus, Himself, or the Holy Spirit.
In the Epistles, we read most of what Paul wrote to explain and expound upon what he was taught by Jesus directly. Unfortunately, we do not have much of a record of what the 12 apostles preached on the gospel, but at the council in Jerusalem, the church leaders James and Peter and John agreed that Paul preached the same gospel as they did. I think that God knowing that Paul was a man of superb education and talent for writing, had him write much more than the other Apostles in explaining many facets of the gospel and teachings God wanted to establish in the church.
it was given to the Apostle Paul although the other Apostles were operating the ability of the Gift Given. We
do a lot of things for God as we believe and walk but that doesn't mean we understand everything that's being
done in us, for us, and around us but we definitely see the affects.
Yup, I was getting ready to come after you (Just kidding). I knew what you meant. Have a blessed day in Christ Jesus!
I have not studied this other than a bit here and a bit there, we know it was not in the winter and the pagan 25th. The sheep would not be in the pastures in the cold months and not before the pastures could feed the sheep again. John was six months older than Jesus. Zechariah was of the order of Abijah, his lot was to burn incense and if I remember correctly, it was for eight days.
Knowing what time of year, he served the temple, and calculate six months later, the month Tishri very well could be the month. Thanks, I read a little this morning, but I will study this.
Thanks again.
God bless,
RLW
Why has the Church brought a tree in the Sanctuary but they don't want Altars in there?
May you be blessed this day and every day in your knowledge of Crist, our only Hope and Peace.
God please continue to comfort Mason's heart today. Help him God when he misses her. Fill that empty place with Your presence. Help him to remember all the love she had for him, that will never die. I know his grandma wants him to serve You and be a light! In Jesus name
Grandmas have a special kind of love. I know this cuz I'm a grandma too . But remember, the Lord loves you even more. And He will never leave you or forsake you. You will find comfort in Him. So go to Him in prayer always. God bless you Mason.
I'm looking for clear direction and guidance from the Lord, where I will be mentored in sound doctrine and where the spirit of the Lord is.
I felt lost and heavy laden because me, my family, and my friends we left the church and no where to go. My faith is getting weak, I have no guidance no council and just walking alone and feeling so down and confused.
Thank you for your prayer God bless!!
When its comes to Gods Word the deeper we Dig The greater the treasures.
which is the celebration of Chanukak where the Jews celebrate the festival of lights in Heriod's temple. As you said this was nothin to do with Chanukak.
John 10 ; 23 And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch
John 10 : 30 I and my Father are one
John 10 : 31 Then the Jews took up stones AGAIN TO STONE HIM, the word Again implies a 2 nd time.
John 10 : 39 There fore they sought Again to take him a 3 rd time.
Chris no offence but we have only 1 light which is Christ the light of the world .
Remember what Jesus said about the light ,if your eye be single your whole body will be full of LIGHT. we
have no LIGHT but Jesus. Lets pray that our eye is single ,meaning we see only 1 light
And we have no temple but Jesus as he said abide in me and i in you
Jesus said there shall not be 1 stone left on another that shall not be cast down.
In the Book of Jubilees (160-150 BC) the names of the wives of Noah, Shem, Ham and Japheth are as follows:
* Wife of Noah - Emzara.
* Wife of Shem - Sedeqetelebab.
* Wife of Ham - Na'eltama'uk.
* Wife of Japheth - 'Adataneses.
In the Biblical view, the listed children of Japheth, Shem and Ham correspond to various historic nations and peoples. In the typical interpretation, these sons of Noah correspond to three races: European, Semitic, and African. Alternate divisions claim Euro-Asian Japhet, Semitic Shem, and Afro-Asian Ham.
The Genesis Rabba midrash lists Naamah, the daughter of Lamech and sister of Tubal-Cain, as the wife of Noah, as does the 11th-century Jewish commentator Rashi in his commentary on Genesis 4:22.
In the medieval midrash Parry, J. H. (ed.). "5:15". Book of Jasher. Translated by Moses, Samuel., the name of Noah's wife is said to be Naamah, daughter of Enoch.
Since the 17th century a number of suggestions have been made that relate the name Ham to a Hebrew word for "burnt", "black" or "hot", to the Egyptian word m for "servant" or the word m for "majesty" or the Egyptian word kmt for "Egypt".[4] A 2004 review of David Goldenberg's The Curse of Ham: Race and Slavery in Early Judaism, Christianity and Islam (2003) states that Goldenberg "argues persuasively that the biblical name Ham bears no relationship at all to the notion of blackness and as of now is of UNKNOWN (color) etymology.
So happy for you and your husband and may Jesus continue to guide and the Holy Spirit bright light continue to shine in your Heart.

You are amazing Gigi and thank you from me!
Nevertheless, I understand that the point that the enquirer was making was, 'whether Hanukkah is still valid for Jewish believers & Gentile (believers)?' I think that was what he/she wanted to know. Similar to the Feast of Purim (celebration of the salvation of Jews from Haman's wicked plot), Chanukah was simply a remembrance & celebration of the victory over the Seleucids. There is no connection to any appointed feasts or sacrifices that God had given them to observe. Therefore, to make a connection of Chanukah (a Festival of Lights) to the Light of the World (Jesus) would be incorrect - Christ's coming & Chanukah have no connection whatsoever.
Purim, Chanukah, & other Jewish festivals are purely that - times of remembrance & rejoicing. As one would celebrate Thanksgiving, so also the Jews have every right to remember their past with thanksgiving & if a non-Jew (whether Christian or not) wished to join their Jewish friends in celebration, I would see no biblical reason not to do so. The converse is also true: a Christian cannot celebrate Diwali (also a Festival of Light) with his Hindu friends, as that festival symbolizes victory of light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance and is associated with various gods & goddesses. This type of celebration cannot be indulged in by the Christian as its roots are in idolatry.
You can find this account in Luke 7:36-50 which shows the proof of forgiveness. There is a very important message in that section of scripture. The woman's name is not given.
Thanks for the clarification. I think we are in agreement with each other on what is being taught in 1 Corinthians 13:10. I'm sorry if I was being too critical. I think GiGi nailed it on what "the perfect" is referring to.
I think the "that which is in part shall be done away" is talking about our earthly pilgrimage. We know in part. We only know what God gives us. We don't know everything. We have to study the bible and trust God's Spirit to reveal the truth of Christ to us. We can't study it like a textbook because it requires the revelation of God's Spirit.
Someday, we won't need that. We'll be with the Lord face to face. We won't need a bible study. There will be no bibles in heaven. We'll be with Christ! Right now we know in part. But you see, the other half is "but when that which is perfect is come." When we reach what would be called maturity, not maturity spiritually here, but the completed perfect state. When we reach the Lord, all the other stuff will be done away!
We won't need a bible. We won't need all the tools that we struggle with. We'll be with Christ and we'll become that complete person, and we will see Him face to face. But then shall I know even as also I am known. ( 1 Corinthians 13:12). That's an interesting little phrase. It means that when I get to this perfection, when I see Him face to face, I'm going to look back and know me as I was known by Him. Right now, I don't even know myself. But one day I will know even as I was known. And guess what? Agape will still be there. That will never be done away.
God Bless you also my brother and keep sharing your knowledge!
