Chris no offence but your take on Chanukak ( the Festival of lights ) THE DEDICATION.. is not in agreement with the light of the world.

The Words of our lord . It was on Chanukak that they tried to stone our lord 3 times when he was on Solomon's Porch which was in the temple . They came to Jesus and said what manner of stones these are but he refused to admire them saying there shall not be 1 stone left on another it will all be tuned to ruble . It was HE that was the real light of the world and the the stone the builders rejected. Thus i find no admiration in Chanukak, The Dedication. But thats just me. gbu Chris.

Hi Maranatha Nimrod was a real piece of work who was absolutely defiant in the face of the True God

In Genesis 10:9 the word before in this context is defiant or against the same word used in Genesis 6:11

Jeremiah 31:31Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: 33But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

    Explain what God covenant means the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts;

Hi Leslie There are a lot of people who go through the actions but in their hearts[there's the key]

didn't mean what they confessed. Also perhaps they were doing it just so no one would bother them

the point is continue to pray and believe no matter what. We STAND and stay faithful and we plant we

water but God gives the increase. I know of several people who went through all the ceremony so to

speak and all there actions dictate unbelief. That's on them God Knows We don't force the word we

    speak the truth in Love.

Try not to let the unbelief of others affect your walk, or fly spiritually high like an eagle

and lovingly deal with the buzzards. God Bless

Nimrod started the practice of an enriched society, with the poor laborers to do the labor on all their fine buildings. Nimrod wanted to throw spears at Gods face..

I actually read some of the Apocrypha writings the other day; to see the references to the giants.

The spirit of Nimrod is still around. The wealthy rich forcing PEOPLE to work for low wages and live with less.

It never had anything to do with color. Rich and educated vs Poor and less opportunity to be educated. Now I was a country bumpkin whose parents sold the farm and moved to the city. We were still poor; but my parents pushed us kids to study and make good grades!

Parents of low education don't kick kids backsides and make them go to good schools and get good grades. They are told to be good athletes. To win games!

I'm 70. My family struggled post-war era to make a living and force us kids to fight for opportunity!

No goofing off. I went to a rich High School from a poorer neighborhood. My best friends were brown or black. Our parents made us get good grades, get jobs and student loans to go to college, trade schools or Viet Nam. Nobody had time to be poor and pregnant. We actually listened to our parents then. Grandparents told us about the Great Depression.

It's not the same culture. Parents work 1-2-3 jobs, kids raise themselves and siblings, money is tight, the Government thinks we're all rich; we're killing future taxpayers in the womb. Our kids don't believe in happiness, future, or Jesus Christ Returning to earth soon.

Nimrod died young, but his legacy lives on today. The filthy rich versus those struggling. Whatever color we are; we have to get these kids ready to go with Jesus. WE CAN WIN THIS. Make them kids go to church and read the Bible or NO TV. My mom came in with scissors in hand and threatened to cut the tv cord off if we didn't do our homework first! I had a better life because my parents lived, what the Bible said to do. Deu.28. No dropouts!

I wasn't saved when I did astrological charts on my nephew and niece. My brother-in-law (an asst. pastor was enraged, went to church, confessed his anger in front of the whole church. He asked the congregation to pray and fast ONE day for me. I wasnt told he did this.

My life began to unravel. Everything that represented security to me was "taken away". I did not know why. I did more prescription drugs with alcohol. I thought a lot about suicide. Every morning I'd wake up to a voice that spoke "if you don't stop this, you'll leave your son without his parent. He was all I had! Things got worse. I prayed for help. To who? My son was all I had left. My home was full of spirits.

God had peeled me like an onion; Layer upon layer until all my defenses were removed.

Then the Lord came to me in a vision. I saw Jesus. I saw my sin. I was shown everything. I had only one thing. I was convinced fully God is real and alive. I took his hand and I was delivered from everything!

God honored those prayers said for me. He honored those who turned their plates upside down and fasted for someone they didn't even know. I wasn't even told about it until years later!

The life of all deluded, fakers, liars; are worth one day of violent faith, shaking the throne of God for the salvation of this man through prayers.

Don't give up. Get some church members, praying Grandmothers, to pray and fast; one day. Just pray for him to see in the mirror__ the truth behind his eyes staring back at him.

What you are fighting is a religious spirit. It's the intercessors that will destroy its works.

It was Jesus's love that brought you here today. Think of a wall with a hole in it. Standing in that gaping hole is what we do. Listen to Charles Capps, Authority of the Believer, on youtube. Make notes.

I have known people who work at moving graveyards for Government purposes.

He said in several years span they have never found bones, teeth or any remains that they were able to tell a difference in it was all dirt. This would be older graves, when most were put in a wooden box. It is just moving a marker mostly.

If your heart is pure of loving the Lord Jesus Christ you will be with him. Today in this time of darkness Mankind has felt they have become the rulers of the earth. Only Gods law should exist and we have fallen a stray and completely forgotten his love. This is why this world is in such disarray and upside down. God is truly Love and we completely forgotten to Thank him and Love him back.

May God be with you in Jesus Christ name.

Hello Leslie. I was sad to read that account of your family member but was heartened by your clear strong stand in the faith of Jesus Christ & concern for your family members. Whatever the reason for him getting baptised, the point of it is that he must first know Christ as his Saviour & water baptism that follows shows his acknowledgement & identification with Jesus in death, burial & resurrection.

You no doubt have shared with him on this matter & whatever his response, you will just have to leave it, since baptism being done for the wrong reasons has no meaning & will fool no one. Your concern & prayer for him, with your Christian life & witness, may in time provoke him to conviction & taking the Lord seriously. So you must continue to pray for him according to the burden on your heart & Spirit's leading, & standing on the Word of God when Satan tries to intrude or discourage you. Stay strong & true to the Gospel, which is indeed "the Power of God (leading to) salvation" ( Romans 1:16). But in all things, exercise godly love, faith, patience & meekness before all ( 1 Timothy 6:11, as given to Timothy by Paul) & let God deal with all your family in His Own way. You may be the only light from God that they will ever see & He's placed you there at this time for that very reason. Be encouraged & blessed in your witness.

I have been deceived by staff members in the building in which my family and I reside in. I was instructed to do something by a "Higher up!" And now it has cost my "Lively-hood" And even a possible eviction all because I "FOLLOWED ORDERS AND NOW MY BACKS UP AGAINST THE WALL AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO." I'm so afraid for my family and me because it's cold outside and we haven't any place else to go.

Hello Gatbel Chuol. The celebration of Hanukkah (or Chanukah, with the 'Ch' pronounced as 'Kh') is a Jewish eight-day celebration "of lights", with the progressive lighting of the Menorah over the eight days & with prayers & special food.

Since it celebrates the reclaiming of the Temple in Jerusalem from the Seleucids (Syrian-Greeks) who ruled the Holy Land in the 2nd Century BC, this commemoration is purely one for Jewish observance. There is no corresponding celebration or directive for believers in Christ to follow that tradition. One can understand if a Jew who has turned to Jesus as his Saviour may want to remember that eventful time in his history, because it was truly a time of thanksgiving & praise to God for this miraculous deliverance from the Grecian occupation & demands placed upon the Jews.

But if your question is, whether a gentile believer can celebrate Chanukah with his Jewish believer friends, then I don't see a problem with that as it doesn't involve any form of idolatry or conflicts with our faith in Christ.

Vincent Brother. We are all saying the same thing. But respectfully , Sir , I believe that that time is now.

I suspect that the Tribulation is all but here , and that the antichrist is all but here , a very wealthy

pronounced public figure hidden in plain view perhaps , ( remember how satan tried to entice Christ by offering Him all the glory and wealth of this world ) but he has yet to reveal himself maybe , or are we still waiting for him yet to be born even though we can see the end times upon us ? .

2 Thessalonians 2 says : Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

    3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for THAT DAY shall not come, EXCEPT there come a falling away FIRST, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Is this global vaccination exercise , "the great falling away" ? Is this the mark and system of the beast? No man being able to buy or sell ( vaccine passports now being offered as the outward manifestation of the wicked seal that one must first take ) except he take the mark . Is this the "wickedness" spoken of in Matthew 24:15 , "standing in the holy place ( the body ? )" or is it a physical person, the son of perdition, that we are to look for , in Jerusalem. Or is it both ? If we can say yes , or even maybe to these questions , is this then the start of the Tribulation?

If it is or is not , remember this:

"THAT DAY" , we are told in v3 , comes, AFTER the great falling away.

In Revelations , we're told about the 4 angels , holding back the 4 winds , and they are told not to release their "hurt" , until the seal of God is given to His own people.

Then Christ says:"31And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds" Matt 24:13

So I will say it like this: If I have no job, and not enough money to pay back someone, how can I do it? And if the person that I owe the money to is gone already or moved, how will I pay them back?

For example if I worked for a company for a long time, But added additional hours to my timesheet which i didn't do or if I was lazy at a job and took breaks when I should have been working How can I pay back those companies which I am no longer employed at? and don't really have a good rapport with. And I don't even have any idea how much overtime I stole? And since these are big companies, they have already switched ownership at times as well. And How do i pay companies back for all the so called "FREE" stuff at work, you know free stick it notes or free keyboard or whatevers? IN my defense, I got lazy at the job because I saw no potential for advancing my career. So I started to study at the job for a better career. But sometimes, I'll admit I also took breaks to go to a bakery to eat.

Though I have been forgiven of my thievery, I really would like to be able to find a way to return the funds. For I do not have good sleep because I am kind of continually reminded of my past mistakes. and I don't feel good about my past mistakes.

And if I follow Christ from a long distance while hating and reviling him at times and possibly blaming him for stuff that I myself am at fault for but can't see because I follow from a DISTANCE, can you pray for me to make peace with GOD? Cause I really need to resolve my issues.

    Rick,

I am not sure what you mean when you say that when we are gathered face to face with Christ there will be no need for our spiritual abilities. My understanding is that we have no spiritual abilities. It is Christ in us that has all the capacities and abilities to produce spiritual things. We do not have the capacity to produce anything spiritual. All we can produce is flesh. But I would agree that one day when all believers meet face to face in the presence of the Lord, we will then come to the realization of what true worship is all about. There will no longer be any need for our bibles!

    Hi AliBaba,

I just noticed your question and would be happy to share my input based on what you shared.

If you are a Christian (Christ follower) and have genuinely asked God for forgiveness I believe you are completely forgiven and that you should also forgive yourself and release any burden you carry.

However, it my opinion that you should do what you can to right wrongs, but its usually not possible to completely make up for sins (wrongs) you have commited against people that hurt them. Even if someone stole from someone and secretly sent it back anonymously after a period of time, you still never know how much harm and problems and stress that may have caused that person. I believe in doing as best as you can and making things right to the best of your ability. And I believe the next best thing one can do is forgive others. It's possible some of the victims may have known or suspected it was you and it's possible some have forgiven you.

You probably know what it's like to be hurt, and I think the next best thing you can do is 'pay it forward' by forgiving anyone who has stolen or done wrong to you in some way, either in the past, present, or future. It would show great growth and maturity to do that. I will share the Bible references related to this that come to mind:

Matthew 18:21-35 the parable of the unforgiving servant.

    Matthew 6:14, Matthew 7:2

It seems your questions are about forgiveness: of others forgiving you, you forgiving yourself, and you forgiving others. This is my opinion based on what you shared and I hope you find it useful. God bless...

I was wondering can a former thief repent of his past sins and pay back the people that he stole from? and how can he do this in a graceful manner without revealing that he stole from them? or causing problems or causing people to judge him negatively. How can a former thief pay back for his sins without revealing himself?

Yes I have a question about Baptism. So a family member of mine got baptized Septmeber and I am really embarrassed about it because it was just for show and has not taken it seriously at all.And have not given a testimony of goodness of the Lord. He Have not told anyone and really seems not to care. As for me I love The Lord with all my heart. I do not play church or with the word of God. I have been praying that the Holy Spirt would fall upon him the family member. So I need to know would it be wrong to not to pray for this person when , I know he not going to saved either just like the others in my family.it seems to me the more I pray in, with and by the spirit the devil is always in the middle. I refuse to be ashamed of the gospel in eyes of my family. Please advise Thank you.
