hi Andrea Russell I don't think it is a good idea to ask Yah to influence someone's emotion for your benefit. He has given us all free will

    Hello Cowboy,

I do not think that Adam and Eve were created as immortal. I think they were created as mortals without sin at the time they were created. They had the ability to chose to obey God's command or disobey Him. Their disobedience brought spiritual death to them. If they were born immortal they would not need to eat from the tree of life, as God said that if they ate of the Tree of Life, they would live forever. ( Gen. 3:23). Thus God put them out of the Garden to restrict them from eating of the Tree of Life. They must not have ever eaten of the Tree of Life.

I am not aware of anywhere in Scripture were it speaks of an being created immortal (angels, heavenly hosts) from their beginning ever becoming mortal. (Not talking about the Son of God; who created everything, but was never created).

the Scripture does say that man, who is mortal from conception, can become immortal through belief in the gospel of Jesus Crist.

Hi Genny Mitchell. I give you words of encouragement and prayer. He is nearing the kingdom. That is what we all seek after. After all this labor that is our reward. Yahweh we ask that you bless Genny Mitchell's Dad. He is close to your kingdom. We ask that you welcome him with open arms. Give Genny strength during his time to endure. I ask this in the name of Jesus.

    Christina,

When a person is regenerated by the Holy Spirit at conversion, he/she is indwelt by the Holy Spirit. All of what the Holy Spirit wishes to give you is available to you from that moment on. You can pray and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you the gift He has placed in you. Also, when you serve others in the body of Christ, others will begin to notice your gift and may identify it for you. Then you can learn more about this gift and seek for ways to exercise it within the body of believers God has placed you in.

Also, a person can have more than one gift. The Bible says that the Holy Spirit bestows the gifts as He sees fit. So it is His choice as to what gifts a person receives.

    Dear Andrea,

I am sorry that you are having troubles with your friends. It really hurts when friends mistreat a person. It is fine to pray for your friends to come to value you as one deserving of respect and love. I went through a time in my youth when My friends invited me to meet them at a friend's house. I went. When I got there, they pushed me out the door, said i wasn't their friend anymore and slammed the door on my face. The next two years of school were very difficult for me as they bullied me and anyone who tried to be a friend of mine. Those who were out of this clique did not dare to speak up because they did not want to be rejected and mistreated by these "power" girls.

I often prayed for God to help me with my hurt feelings. I also knew to pray for my enemies, so I did. At one point in time I prayed to God and said, "I do not have to accept the worth they put on me because I know that You love me, and in this love I find my worth. Please help me forgive them because I know if they knew what it was like to be treated this way, they would not treat people so badly." I was 14 when I prayed this to God. I knew that I would be going to a new school in 9th grade and would get a reprieve from bullying. So, I determined that in 9th grade I could just be kind and open to new friends. And that is what I did. I was friendly and outgoing. I made many friends and was not mistreated in school from then on. God gave me a way out and strengthened me to invite friends into my life after this trauma.

I hope that God will mend your friendship with these people. I hope that He will strengthen you to stand up for yourself. And I pray that He will provide that "way out" if they do not change the way they treat you as He did for me.

    God Bless You.

    Hi Brother Fred,

You are right, as Christ Followers, we are to keep God's Ten Commandments/Law per the bible scripture.

Those that truly love Jesus we will hear his voice:

    John 14:15

"If ye love me, keep my commandments."

    God Bless.

I think that the passage is speaking of God, who is the Lord of the harvest, holding the fan, etc. when He judges the mankind.

    Earl

That is the craziest interpretation I have heard of the account of Genesis so far.

For anyone reading this thread, I recommend reading the Bible and try to understand it's plain message, not some hidden or symbolic way as Earl does.

Just my opinion. Take it or leave it.

    Hello, 1John 2:26-27 says,

"These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you. But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all thing, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it as taught you, you will abide in Him."

Daniel, if you are a believer in Jesus Christ, then you already have this anointing, because the Holy Spirit is the anointing, and He lives within each believer from the time He regenerates a person at conversion.

The Spirit will always lead you into what is truthful. He will never lie to you or lead you into what is false. The tricky part truly is discerning whether your personal "education" about God's truth is definitely from the Spirit of Truth, or from your one reasoning, or from another believer sharing their "learning" with you. Discernment is really a great thing to pray to receive from the Holy Spirit, as He definitely wants to give this good gift to those who desire it and ask for it in prayer.

    Brother Rick,

I say this with love, and also for others that are seeking the truth. Jesus absolutely did not do away with the 10 Commandments/Law, including the Holy Sabbath Day, Saturday.

    Jesus states:

    John 14:15

"If ye love me, keep my commandments."

Jesus knows who loves him, because they will keep his commandments. Many people don't even try to keep God's commandments because it doesn't facilitate their worldly lifestyle. We have to ask ourselves this important question: Do we let our lifestyles guide us, or God's words?

    Jesus said: Matthew 16:25

"For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it." Do you believe this scripture?

    Matthew 24:35

"Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away."

So are you saying that Jesus words in John 14:15, and Matthew 24:35,have passed away?

    Hebrews 13:8

"Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever."

Are you saying that Jesus Christ changed? His words no longer matter?

Jesus death on the cross and the new covenant does not erase the Ten Commandments/Law. Please read what God tells us about the new covenant and the law:

    Hebrews 8:10

"For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:"

God is telling us he will put his laws into our minds, and our hearts! Do you believe this? This scripture is very important: Matthew 5:18 "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." Do you believe this scripture?

The scripture is very clear, and easy to understand. We can't change the scripture, but many try to ignore or twist it into a puzzle that doesn't even make sense.

    Read it and believe it!

    God Bless

"What follows is a preparation for the seventh seal, which is the weightiest of all. It is connected with the sixth by the particle and; whereas what is added, verse 9, # Rev 6:9 stands free and unconnected|. I saw four angels - Probably evil ones. They have their employ with the four first trumpets, as have other evil angels with the three last; namely, the angel of the abyss, the four bound in the Euphrates, and Satan himself."

Again , look in Revelations chapter 9. We find that the four angels had been reserved for a year , a month , a day, an hour TO SLAY A THIRD OF MANKIND. No doubt evil.

I wonder whether they are the four major mrna vaccines firms : Pfizer, AstraZeneca , Johnson & Johnson , and Moderna? Hence the "scorpions" in chapter 9. Possibly syringes? Or vaccinations?

Five billion people (and counting) who have been vaccinated. The scientists of faith tell us that they carry a legion of diseases. Some quick acting. But most slow acting but certain in their goal.

In the time of Noah, ( Gen 6 ) we are told that the "sons of God" ( rebellious angels were cast out of Heaven ) and saw the "daughters of men" and married them. This cross fertilisation of non/human DNA destroyed the pure human gene pool. The Holy Spirit could not indwell in their offsprings as they were no longer human. But Noah was "Perfect" ( Tamiym ) . The interpretation given in the Old Testament lexicon: complete, whole, entire whole, sound, healthful complete, entire (of time) sound, wholesome, unimpaired, innocent, having integrity what is complete. It lends itself to a PHYSICAL perfection.

Today, the four angels and their vaccines, if true , we are told, change the DNA of mankind.

Christ told us in Matthew 24 :"As it was in the time of Noah, so shall it be in the time of the coming of the Son of man".

It is also in that same passage that Christ says that He will send his angels to gather His "elect" from the four winds held by the four angels.

    Chris,

Thank you again for your wise statements. Genesis says that God created the "great lights" in the firmament, referring to the Sun, Moon, stars, planets, galaxies. This is outer space, outside of our atmosphere.

I, too, believe it is folly to explore outer space. God said in His word, that He determined that earth is where He placed man to dwell.

I do find astronomy so interesting. It makes me marvel at the power and wisdom of God. I do not oppose the sending of satellites or space probes like Hubbel, etc. But I think it is very questionable for man to seek to travel into space or to try to live anywhere else but earth. Now countries are concentrating on making space weapons. I don not think that these efforts will, in the end, help mankind, nor allow man to avoid the reckoning that God will bring to the earth in the end.

Earl, I would like to see how you would fair being a part of a "translation" team of Bible scholars from many different denominations in bringing forth a more "accurate" Bible translation. I think that you would quickly be disqualified from the team, due to the twisted way you interpret Scriptures.

Sorry to have to say it this way, but when someone's statements are disagreed with by so many strong Christian voices, I would think that one would be humble enough to take a step back and try to learn from someone besides themselves. I would try to do this if I were in such a situation.

Love you Earl, but continuing in your line of thinking seems to me to be harmful.
  • GiGi - In Reply - 4 years ago
Dear Earl, Either there is no hell (and all people will be saved) or there is a hell (and it waits unbelievers).

So, Either you are wrong on this or Adam and others who believe opposite of you are wrong. But I don't agree that we are all vessels and God is working in both you and us on this topic. God will not contradict what is True. So, both cannot be true. One statement is true and one is false.

For those reading tis thread, please read the verses put forth in this thread within the context of each passage. Doing this should help people discern which of us is correct on this topic and which is making false statements.

    Joseph,

    Scripture does not tell us.

Perhaps He was moved with compassion at knowing the deep grief of those who loved Lazarus

Maybe, as Rick, proposes, He was grieved by the unbelief of those involved in this happening.

These are just some ideas, but as I said, Scripture does not tell us why Jesus wept. It just said that He did weep when at the tomb of Lazarus.

Joseph McClosky This is one of the greatest records displaying the unbelief Jesus Christ still was dealing

with even with His disciples and those that knew him well. The record starts Chapter 11:2 where mary Gets word

    to Jesus that was sick.

First word out of Jesus mouth this sickness is not unto death but for the Glory of God.

Now at this time in his ministry setting foot back in judea they could be killed. the number of negatives Jesus

is hit with between verse 8and39 is 9 he's accused of causing that he died he's accused of the disciples going

with him to die, mary lied to her sister saying the master called for her never did.

All of Lazarus friends were there

crying for him he was very well known and respected verse 8 jesus wept in Himself because of the unbelief. He knew

was Going to raise him up because he said it in verse 4. Then look at verse 42 i know that thou hearest me always

but because of the people I said it that they may believe. This is why he wept fighting unbelief.

to raise him because he said that in verse 4

    Hey David,

Thank you, I enjoy and benefit from your posts. I know many feel the same as you on the rapture of the Church. Not to debate but something you may check out, Daniel 9:25 tells us it will be 69 weeks from the commandment to rebuild Jerusalem unto the Messiah. We know Jesus' ministry was three-and one-half years. So, by scripture half of the seventieth week was fulfilled when Jesus was crucified (cut off), the other half has also been fulfilled, check it out. No need to reply in the love of Christ.

    God Bless,

Thanks for response Mishael i am almost never disagree, and read all your post. Thank u for all good words an learning on the web site.

Is it not soo that we all should have some longing for some souls too save all of us.

Once in a sight i was in hell. Ill think it was Jesus who show me. I did not see any light. But i was not ever afraid.

There where more than any horror movie. All in darkness and blood. And the only light was the light from fire of bodyes, who get burned over and over again. It was a streem there and some horses. And the horses walk in a thick blood streem who go to the stomac. I think are we being there already Ppl scream and begging for theyr life. Some was hanged and the head fall of, over and over again and again. And ppl died and died over and over again. It was no end of the missery in death and mm. I was paralyzed.

It is more than one heaven and its more than one world like under and under the world. And then a deep darkness. Our eye cant see all yet. JESUS went there and release the prisoners, and we call it hell. Or under world.

Soo we dont have only love and peace. And green gras forest. It is a place who is opposite too our world.

But its here we have to select page. It is here we lifts our swords in Jesus Name. And He will have the glory forever. After it is too late.

God bless love u all in Christ

first usage Noah found Grace in the eyes of the lord. Mercy is the withholding of merited judgement, in all the

church epistles Grace and mercy are stated along with peace, all of which we have been given by God through

Jesus christ our lord and Saviour.

TREE OF KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL

There was NEVER a physical green growing tree, with roots, fruits and leaves, that bear KNOWLEDGE of GOOD AND EVIL.

There was NEVER a physical green growing tree, with roots, fruits and leaves, that was the TREE OF LIFE.

    These two trees REPRESENT:

MAN is the tree of good and evil.

CHRIST is the tree of life.

Some parts of the creation in Genesis is a parable, that's why some mistake the first few chapters as possibly having men on earth before Adam.

There are two Adam's in Genesis man and Christ.

The Adam that was put to sleep (died) and the WOMAN taken FROM Adam (Christ) and made one flesh was Christ.

The WOMAN taken from Adam is man and women today, BEFORE, they are CREATED IN CHRIST.

Genesis 5:2 MALE and FEMALE created he THEM; and blessed them, and called THEIR NAME ADAM, in the day they were created.

This is man and woman after they are CREATED IN CHRIST.

Revelation 2:17 ....and I will give him a white STONE, and in THAT STONE a new name (the true Adam), which no man knoweth except he that RECEIVETH IT.

Mathew 3:12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. What is this? Has it happened yet or something in the future?

    Amen Brother Alex!

Isaiah 25:7 And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.

John 9:41 And Jesus said unto them, If you were blind ye should have no sin: but now ye say, we can see; therefore you sin remaineth.

John 8:21 Then Jesus said again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go ye can't come.

Everyone is LOOKING for the place, but it's not a place, but a new creation, the new man exactly like his CREATOR.

God's has has been gracious to us.
