The trinity is very simply its Father Son and Granson just like Abraham Issac and Jacob were Father Son and GRANSON. And God tells Moses his name IS Abraham Issac and Jacob, That is my name forever and my memorial to all generations. Why wd God tell Moses that his name was abraham issac and jacob ? Simply b/c God himself is gonna be multiplied as the stars of heaven just as Abraham was multiplied as the sands of the seas so God will be multiplied as the stars of heaven that was the great Promise when God swore by him very self.

The H.G. is in rank with Jacob the Granson but the H.G. Answers to the heavenly Jacob that is coming an Israel of GOD. via the seed of Christ which are spirits as Jesus said that which is BORN of the spirit is spirit, Thats the H.G. the Israel of God. Our new innerman,or rather our new heart and new spirit. Thats y Jacob's name was changed to Israel the heavenly Jacob is the Israel of God. And Jesus is the sower of that good seed thus its Jesus who is the Father of that heavenly Child the H.G. The Child of PROMISE Thus the Child is the Granson.

Him. The day of Christ is future when Christ dose the judging Revelation, today is known as mans day 1 Corinthians 4:3 it says

mans day where man does all the judging, but when the day of Christ comes He will do the Judging, but before that day

which is in revelation the body of Christ will be taken up and then what is known as The AntiChrist will come in into

The only reason that is not occuring now is because we who believe and walk in the light of the word

are still reconciling men that want to believe back to God the Ministry of Reconciliation which we all are a part of

2 Corinthians 5:17-19. We who are born again in the Age of grace are indeed saved from the Judgement to come on

the people who chose not to believe. The only thing Believers will be judged for are the works done according to the

word all the rest burn't up and we will have bodies like unto His Glorious body THe Hope. Talk about a Bright Future its a no Loss deal because we believe and act on Gods Word.

Hello, It wasn't up until recent times that people had their own bed to sleep in. Beds were shared in families and s=visitors even shared beds with family members because space and beds were limited.

Jesus breathed on the disciples and said, "Receive ye the Holy Spirit." The Spirit is a separate Person of the Trinity, not Jesus. Jesus said that He, will come again in the way He ascended, on the clouds of heaven. He will be seen by all with natural eyes because He has a glorified, visible body.

I just cannot concur with your thinking of equating the sending of the Holy Spirit as the second coming of Jesus or that the Holy Spirit and Jesus are the same Person.

Brother Dan, from the foundation of the world God had a PURPOSE.

He has always used men to fulfill his PURPOSE.

Romans 9:11 ... that the PURPOSE of ELECTION might stand.

He has PURPOSED that there will be a KINGDOM on this EARTH, and ALL creation will be in this kingdom.

God CHOOSES people to fulfill his PURPOSE. Not because he loves one more than another, but because he has ELECTED that person to fulfill the purpose he chose for them.

You can see this because God has recorded his word for us to understand this ELECTION of persons.

The age we are NOW IN, God is calling out those he has ELECTED to be Priest in His Kingdom.

Not everyone is called, only his sheep hear his voice, those not of the Election to be priest don't hear this voice because they are not called to be priest, but will come into the kingdom later, at the resurrection to judgement.

Judgement is not punishment, but coming to TRUTH.

Christ took our PUNISHMENT.

It's really easy TO REST in Christ when you understand, this purpose of election.

One will be (taken as a priest) the other will be left to (come into God's election at another time).

But ALL will eventually be in the KINGDOM OF GOD.

Great post! Many, many, many Christians struggle with this question. I will be the first to say I also struggle with this, because of reading/interpretion on various scripture related to God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

I currently believe all three exist but they are ONE. God the Father, God the Son, and the Holy Sprit, they makeup the Godhead.

Sounds simple, but it really isn't. I continue to ask the Holy Spirit fo guidence on this. Maybe none of us will know for sure until we recieve our final salvation.

That does seem odd that the question was posted a month ago with zero response. I personally do not recall seeing the question but I do remember seeing a similar question not too long ago. I too have heard different interpretations on those verses in Luke. I would also like to share my understanding of Luke 17:34-35 for what it's worth.

First of all, something that should be known is that the word "men" in verse 34 is not found in any manuscript so I'm not sure why the translators put the word men in there. The reason why I think this is important to know is because this is one of the verses I have heard people use to justify homosexuality. But no manuscript has the word men. It's just two people. Just though I'd share that.

As far as where the "one taken," goes, this is what I see. Right after Jesus just got through saying there shall be two in one bed, one taken, the other one left, and two in the field, one taken, the other one left, in verse 37 the disciples asked Jesus "Where Lord?" So they want to know where the one taken is taken to. When I look at Jesus' answer in Luke 17:37, He says "Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together."

This tells me that He is talking about that day when people are going to gather together in the Valley outside of Jerusalem to fight against Christ at His coming. Remember in Revelation, it tells us that the birds are going to be called in to feed on their carcasses. If I remember correctly (I would have to search), but these people (The one's taken) have been drawn out into the battle by Christ.

I'm currently of the same thinking as you regarding the rapture. I don't see real biblical support for the rapture, I believe the followers of Jesus Christ will be caught up to meet HIM, but this will be after the Tribulation and the trumpets of the Day of the Lord, at the sound of the last, or seventh trumpet, when all true Christians who've died or are still alive are changed together.

I'm still studying this, and regarding specifically Luke 17:34-35 Why are two men in bed together? What does it mean that two women are grinding together?

I have some thoughts on this, but I was hoping that others might want to weigh in with their thoughts.

I reread my message and I apologize because I did not intend to worry people. Just reached out because it feels like drowning in an ocean. I have scheduled an appointment with my therapist and plan to reach out to a pastor soon. Even though I have had many thoughts that are errant and have felt so far from Christ, God can do the impossible and give me understanding so I am trusting Him for that. This is difficult but I don't want to give up. Thank you to the people who responding with all that good information. I live in a housing area that has the homes very close together. It has really hit home on how to get along with others who like to trespass on my property and let their dog do whatever on my property.

Gigi Willful sin is a person knowingly disobeying Gods Word I.E. instead of telling the truth lying about a mistake

to get out of a problem Ananias and Sapphira with the money. Non willful or none intentional telling someone there doing

something wrong but not instructing them on how to change or what to do right, this would be a sin of communication

none intentional. The individual telling some one there doing something wrong the wisdom would be connect them to

someone more experienced to help the person in the specific area of need.

When teaching a child to do work you show them what you were taught or Doctrine, when the chid strays off the

correct way we explain to them this is why you don't do this way reproof, then we again we correct them to get them back to the correct way. The same thing applies to any field of learning until the field is mastered.

I live in California. In a wicked area bound up by spiritual forces of darkness. I rarely (maybe never) hear anyone talk openly about the Lord in the street. Or at the grocery store. Or any public common place! I have heard about other states in the USA called the Bible belt where it is different.

Example. Men have the authority. And Wom-an have it different, becouse of the child birth with blood and wather and pain. Wo-man need protection. And the man should be the protection for her.

Soo with them lady's who is alone, and may be virgin and dont have a man, need the protection, and want to show it. They have God Him self as the Protector. The same for the man virgin. They must give theyr heart too God.

What do Paul tell us? That we shall stretch out a hand too widows and those who is without father. Becouse ones they hade the protector.

Hi Roan. We can read this instruction by both the Apostles Paul & Peter in 1 Timothy 2:9,10 and 1 Peter 3:2-5 respectively. Braiding of the hair, or as Peter refers to, as "plaiting" of the hair, meant the specific weaving of the hair strands forming a particular hair style. However, I don't believe that the main point of the apostles' instruction was on how a woman should dress, beautifying herself with ornament wearing or hairstyles, rather, the importance of the beauty of the heart, "which is in the sight of God of great price".

As today, even in those early days, how one appeared in public before others can become a consuming passion & a stumbling-block to godly reflection. There may well have been the societal pressure even then to conform, or maybe even outdo others, in the area of fashion; so the apostles' word was to not focus on the outward but on the inward - not presenting themselves as the focus of beauty & desire, but to present Christ as the focus of His Presence & Beauty emanating through them. It maybe that men in those days cared little about what they wore, which also reflects my own fashion-sense (thus needing my dear wife to ensure I have some degree of respectability before others & of minimal embarrassment to her), therefore no advice was given to men. But to both men & women, we are called to examine ourselves, especially inwardly, ensuring our hearts are clear before the Lord & our lives glorify Christ as others observe us ( 2 Corinthians 3:1-3).

Rick, I think that we just disagree on the definition of willful sin. Otherwise, I think Peter was amazing! He and Paul ended up shepherding churches in Rome where they were both martyred; Peter crucified upside down; and Pau-beheaded.

Peter was definitely a "Let's Go Get 'Em" kind of man, but he also denied Jesus 3 times and received the Lord's gentle forgiveness after the resurrection. I am sure Peter was so sorry and bothered that he did exactly like Jesus had prophesied he would do. He probably thought that the risen Lord would not accept Him back. But receiving that forgiveness was precious to him, and I think that event stuck with Him throughout his ministry. God uses broken vessels, but it is necessary for God to break His vessels in order to remake them into a vessel He can use. Peter is a good example of this.
