Good Morning Jeanette The answer is already written in the word, in 2 Timothy 2:15 Gods Says to Study to show thyself approved unto God by rightly dividing the word of truth. Most people will believe one part of Gods Word and not another part or cherry pick so to speak. The words rightly dividing or divide right is actually one word[orthotomeo] which

means to cut straight or right. What makes this unique it's the only place in the bible this is its usage.

When we rightly divide the scripture is when we have correct doctrine or correct instruction on how to act and what to do. Due to what man made theology or different religious systems have elevated there belief systems above the accuracy of Gods Intended meaning. Therefore the divisions of the denominations of the believers in the body of Christ. It happened as far back as the Timothy epistles where Paul who appeared to Jesus Christ himself to preach the

gospel to the gentiles said In Timothy [epistles for leadership] 2 1:15 all of asia turned away from him, that is a remarkable statement, that tells you how bad the division in the body of Christ was back then.

I do what I do because time and time again God has bared His arm and I have Had signs miracles and wonders all during my life, not that I'm a big somebody because. IT IS WRITTEN! If whatever you have been taught is working stick to it! GodBless.

I had an out of body experience where I was heading to this star far away in space, I could see all the other stars but this one was much brighter...in the east..i was traveling to it , I thought about my possessions and family here on Earth but I really didn't care I was more focused on the star once I got to it I realized it wasn't a star at all it was a cross real bright but a comfortable brat I was also experiencing joy unspeakable Glory as I stood there I look to the left of the cross stood an angel who expressed and filled me with love beyond measure.

He also showed me his strength..

As he blew into his hand grasping his breath, into his fist he cast it into the stars and wiped the sky clean. With ONLY HIS BREATH.

My question is...does it speak anywhere of Angels using their breath to destroy anything...

Or do you know of anyone who has had such of an experience..

PS that's the short version of my experience...and say a prayer for me please. thank you and God bless you..

Jeremiah 30 : 6 KJV Ask ye now and see if a MAN does travail with Child, Why do I see EVERY MAN with his hands on his loins as Woman in travail and All faces are turned into paleness . These are the Words that Jeremiah penned right b/f he penned the New Covenant . Many times i have said that the New Covenant is a birthing Covenant. Child Birth but the Child is spirit as Jesus said that which is born of the Spirit is spirit which is our NEW BIRTH, The H.G. That Child of Promise That is coming AGAIN after the book is Opened as the words of the book are living words which are the seeds of the Sower that is gonna initiate Child birth . She shall be saved in Child birth which is the woman giving birth to the MANCHILD which is Humanity the world , The Child is the H.G. that Child of PROMISE, Thats y Isaiah is saying kings humanity are gonna be your nursing Fathers and Queens are gonna be your nursing mothers. Kings and Queens are just symbolic language for men and woman that has heard his words ( his seed ) and kept them, Jesus asked who is my Mother ,them that hear my WORDS and keeps them . We are gonna travail in Child birth and the Child is the Kingdom ( the real H.G ) unless ya receive the Kingdom as a lil Child you will in no wise enter there in. If ya have not birth a spritual Child you have no H.G. HE HAS NEVA KNOWN YOU. The babes and sucklings are coming .

Oh me too Bro Dan , I'm as stubborn as a mule in this world , I'm the epitome of passive resistance , there's only one person on earth that can tell me what to do and he knows how to wrangle me , it's ok it's my hubby ,but when it comes to God I trust Him implicitly . He has always been specific about how we can approach Him , I'm sure you know this from the Old , He doesn't change and had given us instructions about how we may approach Him through Christ , by following Christ , by doing ( showing our faith through obedience ) , if Abraham was prepared to show his faith by obedience in sacrificing Isaac why can't we do as we are told . Does our faith exceed Abraham's ? I wish mine did ! Are we bold enough to think ourselves better than Abraham ? Nope , not me . If you can't be faithful in the little things ?

Good, you're at the right site. Start reading the WORD written inside by clicking the Books, I like Luke when I started that was great to show me as new study who Christ Jesus was, is & is to come. Hover over the scripture here, should bring you straight to it.

Luke 1:1-4, you can continue to read by clicking read full chapter the scroll down, click tab on edges to next chapter, etc. Many people enjoy Psalms, I didn't enjoy it as much as a new beginner study but do enjoy it much more now after years of study.

    Psalms 1:1-3,

U may enjoy Exodus, which actually begins in Genesis 37:1-36, continues : Genesis 39:1-23, Genesis 40:1-23, Genesis 41:1-57, Genesis 42:1-38, Genesis 43:1-34, Genesis 44:1-34,

[Note this scripture chapter 44, Genesis, if you noticed we skipped Genesis 38, because it jumps from Joseph to Judah. Now if you read Genesis 38:1-30, you can understand a few things on deeper level = Judah maybe knows painful loss of children at this point in his life & even the difference of love towards children of his "loved wife". Next very importance of Judah's sacrifice for others, resemblance of Jesus sacrifice being beloved Son of GOD. John 3:16, ]also interesting Tamar, bore to Judah the son in Jesus documented lineage Matthew 1:1-3]

Back to story : Genesis 45:1-28, (forgiveness), Genesis 46:1-34, Genesis 47:1-12 (Redemption) Genesis 47:27-31,

    Now note: Genesis 47:13-26 , Genesis 12:1-3, Genesis 12:10, Genesis 12:11-16, * Genesis 12:13-20, Genesis 16:3, Genesis 16:6-11, Genesis 15:13-14, Genesis 21:8-21, my own opinion Deuteronomy 32:35-36, Romans 12:19.

These moments in Genesis leading up to how & why Israel came into bondage. Exodus 1:1-8, continue reading Exodus 1:22, please continue to read all of Exodus.

One more encouraging note :) Hebrews 11:22, Psalms 105:1-45,

Furthermore on this site under the 1611 Version tab you can scroll to see more history on the Bible.

Hopefully these inspire a new lifetime desire of deeper study

Hi Larry The simple answer to this is purpose, if it is gotten because decorative and enjoyed for there smell and

its a blessing to the individual and its a reminder of what God gave us in the celebration of his Sons birth ok. If it

it is adored and worshipped then its gets elevated to idolatry which is anything that influences the mind above Gods Word

because that's our primary focus daily to love God. Second one not Good Romans 14 whole chapter

I would think that most Bible translations would use the English spelling (e.g. colour), though in a brief search, I found that the American Standard Version, shows it as 'color'. Even the New American Standard Bible, seems to avoid using that word (color) & rephrases the verse accordingly. I can't be sure about other American vs English spellings found in those versions. Which Bible version are you seeking to buy? Even my old Ryrie Study Bible, printed by Moody Press, Chicago, still uses English spellings, consistent with most other versions.

God is so wonderful; he has healed by body so many times. The doctors are amazed. I have learned that faith can carry through any situation of life. Also, why do young or new believers

have such challenges in their Christian walk? Should they be told that they are Not perfect yet

and if they era or make a mistake in their development that God is not going to discard them

and what scriptures back this up?? Also do all new believers speak with new tongues?? Do

you feel emotions when you speak in tongues like in the book of Acts???

Hi Marlon. Your questions, though very short in length, would require a very lengthy response as it would require an examination of both John Calvin's beliefs & teachings and Jacobus Arminius' response to the other's beliefs. Is it biblical, you ask? Depends who you ask, as folk in both camps, will vehemently support one or the other's views. Anti-Calvinism? I think you're referring to Arminianism. VERY BRIEFLY, the oft-used acronym of T U L I P is called upon to highlight the major areas of concern between the two teachings.

    1. T = Total Depravity. Calvin: man is totally depraved, dead in sin - He can't save himself or call upon God to save; God must initiate salvation. Arminius: man is totally depraved & in sin but the Holy Spirit helps the sinner to call upon God.

    2. U = Unconditional Election. Calvin: God has chosen (elected) without any condition, certain people to be His - man has no choice in the matter. Arminius: Election based on God's Foreknowledge of those who would believe on Him through faith.

    3. L = Limited Atonement. Calvin: Christ's Sacrifice only applied to those God has elected - that He did not die for everyone. Arminius: Christ's Death applied to all mankind & the atonement effective only to those who believe.

    4. I = Irresistable Grace. Calvin: God's Grace cannot be resisted or obstructed. If His Grace goes out to man, man must respond. Arminius: Man's free Will is able to resist God's Grace or cooperate with the leading of God's Spirit.

    5. P - Perseverance of the Saints. Calvin: Believers will persevere in their faith since God will not lose any who belong to Him & they will never deny Him. Arminius: By exercising free Will, man can choose to turn away & lose his salvation. However, some 'Arminians' do embrace "eternal security", where a believer, once secure, cannot lose that security in & through Christ.

Marlon, you may find that many Christians won't fit completely in one or any particular camp - depends on their Church teaching.

Hi, I'd like to recommend that you google information on Calvinism, Arminianism, and other similar Christian theories,. That way you will have a context in which to understand the main ideas and evaluate the variety of responses, some even conflicting, you will receive on tis site. Also, do you have a pastor that you could ask for help on this? I wish you the best on this quest. It has been debated for about 500 years.

Hello Carolyn. I'm sorry to read of your predicament. Are you saying that you're no longer required to take those pills but you still do, as you are addicted to them? Or, are you concerned that you've been on those pills for so long that this could be sinful? If for either reason, you must seek your doctor's advice telling him of your addiction. He could well reduce the medication or put you on something else. Or even put you on a rehab program to wean you off this compulsion.

God alone knows what you have been going through, even with this prescription of heavy medication & its undesired long-term results. From what you've written, I don't see this as a sin per se, but it would be a sin if you didn't need that medication but were hooked on it to give you some other desirable result. Lay the matter before the Lord & bring this to your doctor's notice - I'm sure he will pursue a course of action to help you, and the Lord will understand that in your desire to please Him, you are making every effort to rid yourself of this addiction. The first stage of being concerned & sorry for what is happening, is to take positive steps to deal with it. As you commit your steps to the Lord, He will open up the way further & enable His Spirit to give you the strength to deal with it in your heart. Just continue to trust the Lord & be led of His Spirit.

Brother Earl. As you've noticed, I don't often respond to your comments & to some others here, as our interpretation of Scriptures are noticeably divergent & I see no proper foundation on which to build a succinct discussion. And from this present thread, I note your reference to Sheol as pertaining to the grave, to which there is finality of human life. And true, if Sheol even carries the meaning of a Hell, there is little reference in the OT to any major suffering therein, though seems to indicate a place further than six feet below ground ( Deuteronomy 32:22; Psalm 86:13; Ezekiel 31:14-16).

But I would ask, as you clearly believe in the Gospel of our Lord, what do you believe that the death of Christ accomplished? And this question pertains to what God requires & also to the benefit of mankind.

Why I ask this supposedly simplistic question is because this matter came up some years ago when a couple of folk calling themselves Jehovah's Witnesses, spoke to me about the wonderful Paradise & freedom of suffering that awaits all men - & wouldn't I want to be a part of it? This matter soon progressed to a person's death & subsequent resurrection to enjoy this bounty from God. And this further progressed to the reality of Hell, to which they clearly don't subscribe to. And ultimately they stated that all the righteous ones (presumably those who followed Jehovah's Laws) would live in this paradise, whilst those who refused Him, would remain in the grave. I took them to task on this belief & they finally left without answer.

Without sharing the full matter here, I wonder if you see anything credible in that discussion, but especially, what did Christ's death accomplish, towards God & to man? And btw, Luke 16:26 was the Lord's Words, not man's.

I'm interested in purchasing a specific KJV study bible. I am unable to find it in America (out of stock everywhere), but I have found it in the UK. Does anyone know if there are, or could be, spelling differences between the different versions? Ex. "colour" vs "color"...or perhaps I'm misunderstanding how KJV is printed and it's always printed the same regardless of American vs UK. Thanks for the insight!

Brother Adam, you are right there are no CONTRADICTIONS in God's Word.

You believe God's word teaches HELL, yet:

Psalms 22:27 All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the Lord: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.

Have any of God's prophecies not COME TO PASS.

The doctrine of HELL contradicts this prophecy. If the word Hell was misapplied in translation and the word GRAVE applied correctly, then you no longer have a contradiction.

Brother Adam, here is two more scriptures that have the Hebrew word, sheol.

Psalms 49:15 But God will redeem my soul from the power of the GRAVE (Heb. sheol): for he shall receive me. Selah.

Hosea 13:14 I will ransom them from the power of the GRAVE (Heb. sheol)...

I wonder why the translators didn't translated the Hebrew word, sheol, into the word HELL, in the above scriptures. Probably it would have destroyed their HELL doctrine.
  • Adam - In Reply on John 21 - 4 years ago
Hello, there is no contradiction in the Bible. The Bible is already translated accurately. Maybe if you learned more about the translation process that could answer some of your concerns. A word having more than one use or application is normal, and doesn't automatically mean its mistranslated. There is one love in English and 4 in Greek- does that mean it's automatically wrong? I think some false assumptions are being made based about this misunderstanding and I don't believe it is true. Genuine open questions about God's Word is good, but is it profitable to publically try to discredit the Bible?

    Hi Brother S Spencer,

I appreciate your response. Regarding John 3:5 You state: "Born of water - this has nothing to do with baptism by water."

It reads clear to me that Jesus is saying in John 3:5 we must be reborn/baptized with water and receive the Holy Spirit. The water and Spirit go together - can't separate these two! Jesus stated these two (Water/Spirit) together for a reason.

I believe baptism in water is NOT an optional part of salvation, but is the act that initiates our salvation Romans 6:1-6

Galatians 3:26-27 and leads to the forgiveness of sins.

Lastly, I believe that we are saved today, the same way people have been saved since the day of Pentecost Acts 2:38

No quarrel here, just quoting scripture, and my current understanding and belief regarding baptism. Currently, you have not quoted any scripture that would change my mind about this requirement.

    God Bless.

Brother Adam, two more examples of opposite translations for the same Hebrew word, sheol.

Psalms 31:17 Let me not be ashamed, O Lord; for I have called upon Thee; let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the GRAVE (Heb. sheol).

Psalms 55:15 Let DEATH seize upon them, and let them go down quick into HELL (Heb. sheol), for wickedness is in their dwellings and among them.

Two scriptures about the destination of the wicked; yet one goes to the GRAVE and the other goes to HELL. Both translated from the same word, sheol.

The WAGES of sin is DEATH, when you die you go to the grave (sheol).

Blessed be the name of the LORD,

Nash, I am from the Middle East, I am a Christian by birth and know exactly what you are going through. However, keep your ways and steps following and trusting in JESUS, focus on HIS Grace and love. You are so lucky to see JESUS in your dreams and visions. I did see HIM too and I test to that. It was awesome and life changing even though I am a believer in CHRIST since birth.

HE loves you so much, but you have to be the preacher of the WORD, because JESUS is the WORD. HE chose you between millions and millions on this planet, HE knows that you are strong and responsible to carry HIS cross.

If JESUS told you not to say yet, don't say it. However, you can test to everyone that you saw HIM whether they like it or not. Follow and obey JESUS only, HE is the Life, the Truth and the Way.

    You are blessed forever.
  • Earl Bowman - In Reply on John 21 - 4 years ago
Brother Adam, here is two examples of the Hebrew word sheol being translated two different ways.

Job 17:13 If I wait, the GRAVE (Heb. sheol) is mine house, I have made MY BED in the darkness.

Psalms 139:8 If I ascend up into heaven, You are there: if I make MY BED in HELL (Heb. sheol) behold, You are there.

Same Hebrew word (sheol); YET Job makes his bed in the GRAVE, but King David makes his bed in HELL.

Do you not see a contradiction in the single word, sheol, being TRANSLATED having two different meanings, when they should mean the same thing.

Would you say both should have been translated GRAVE, or do you think both should have been translated HELL.

You will find the same thing in the New Testament, the Greek word, Hades, translated one half of the time GRAVE and one half the time HELL.

    No wonder man is deceived.

    God bless you.

Really in a frustrating situation for sure in need of healing and deliverance. Healing from some things that have happened, a man hurt me badly trying to cover up a mistake did a wicked thing to me that's messed me up. Then being messed up from what's happened I'm down like in this "pit" where its much easier to commit certain sins that open up doors to demonic oppression, harassment, torment and influence verses if I was healed and could go out and live a more normal life complete with a marriage, etc that would eliminate these sexual sins (fleshly lusts) that bring about demonic bondage in the soul (mind, will, and emotions. Not to mention the internal trauma and the bitterness and resentment (open doors) over all that's went down, some of which that didn't have to if people had just looked into some things and not assumed. So its a mess, its very frustrating situation to be in for a sincere believer with some strong qualities who just wants to serve again and have somewhat of a normal life again.
