means to cut straight or right. What makes this unique it's the only place in the bible this is its usage.
When we rightly divide the scripture is when we have correct doctrine or correct instruction on how to act and what to do. Due to what man made theology or different religious systems have elevated there belief systems above the accuracy of Gods Intended meaning. Therefore the divisions of the denominations of the believers in the body of Christ. It happened as far back as the Timothy epistles where Paul who appeared to Jesus Christ himself to preach the
gospel to the gentiles said In Timothy [epistles for leadership] 2 1:15 all of asia turned away from him, that is a remarkable statement, that tells you how bad the division in the body of Christ was back then.
I do what I do because time and time again God has bared His arm and I have Had signs miracles and wonders all during my life, not that I'm a big somebody because. IT IS WRITTEN! If whatever you have been taught is working stick to it! GodBless.
He also showed me his strength..
As he blew into his hand grasping his breath, into his fist he cast it into the stars and wiped the sky clean. With ONLY HIS BREATH.
My question is...does it speak anywhere of Angels using their breath to destroy anything...
Or do you know of anyone who has had such of an experience..
PS that's the short version of my experience...and say a prayer for me please. thank you and God bless you..
Luke 1:1-4, you can continue to read by clicking read full chapter the scroll down, click tab on edges to next chapter, etc. Many people enjoy Psalms, I didn't enjoy it as much as a new beginner study but do enjoy it much more now after years of study.
Psalms 1:1-3,
U may enjoy Exodus, which actually begins in Genesis 37:1-36, continues : Genesis 39:1-23, Genesis 40:1-23, Genesis 41:1-57, Genesis 42:1-38, Genesis 43:1-34, Genesis 44:1-34,
[Note this scripture chapter 44, Genesis, if you noticed we skipped Genesis 38, because it jumps from Joseph to Judah. Now if you read Genesis 38:1-30, you can understand a few things on deeper level = Judah maybe knows painful loss of children at this point in his life & even the difference of love towards children of his "loved wife". Next very importance of Judah's sacrifice for others, resemblance of Jesus sacrifice being beloved Son of GOD. John 3:16, ]also interesting Tamar, bore to Judah the son in Jesus documented lineage Matthew 1:1-3]
Back to story : Genesis 45:1-28, (forgiveness), Genesis 46:1-34, Genesis 47:1-12 (Redemption) Genesis 47:27-31,
Now note: Genesis 47:13-26 , Genesis 12:1-3, Genesis 12:10, Genesis 12:11-16, * Genesis 12:13-20, Genesis 16:3, Genesis 16:6-11, Genesis 15:13-14, Genesis 21:8-21, my own opinion Deuteronomy 32:35-36, Romans 12:19.
These moments in Genesis leading up to how & why Israel came into bondage. Exodus 1:1-8, continue reading Exodus 1:22, please continue to read all of Exodus.
One more encouraging note :) Hebrews 11:22, Psalms 105:1-45,
Furthermore on this site under the 1611 Version tab you can scroll to see more history on the Bible.
Hopefully these inspire a new lifetime desire of deeper study
its a blessing to the individual and its a reminder of what God gave us in the celebration of his Sons birth ok. If it
it is adored and worshipped then its gets elevated to idolatry which is anything that influences the mind above Gods Word
because that's our primary focus daily to love God. Second one not Good Romans 14 whole chapter
Hopefully these help you further in your study & willingness to seek truth & GOD's will.
have such challenges in their Christian walk? Should they be told that they are Not perfect yet
and if they era or make a mistake in their development that God is not going to discard them
and what scriptures back this up?? Also do all new believers speak with new tongues?? Do
you feel emotions when you speak in tongues like in the book of Acts???
1. T = Total Depravity. Calvin: man is totally depraved, dead in sin - He can't save himself or call upon God to save; God must initiate salvation. Arminius: man is totally depraved & in sin but the Holy Spirit helps the sinner to call upon God.
2. U = Unconditional Election. Calvin: God has chosen (elected) without any condition, certain people to be His - man has no choice in the matter. Arminius: Election based on God's Foreknowledge of those who would believe on Him through faith.
3. L = Limited Atonement. Calvin: Christ's Sacrifice only applied to those God has elected - that He did not die for everyone. Arminius: Christ's Death applied to all mankind & the atonement effective only to those who believe.
4. I = Irresistable Grace. Calvin: God's Grace cannot be resisted or obstructed. If His Grace goes out to man, man must respond. Arminius: Man's free Will is able to resist God's Grace or cooperate with the leading of God's Spirit.
5. P - Perseverance of the Saints. Calvin: Believers will persevere in their faith since God will not lose any who belong to Him & they will never deny Him. Arminius: By exercising free Will, man can choose to turn away & lose his salvation. However, some 'Arminians' do embrace "eternal security", where a believer, once secure, cannot lose that security in & through Christ.
Marlon, you may find that many Christians won't fit completely in one or any particular camp - depends on their Church teaching.
God alone knows what you have been going through, even with this prescription of heavy medication & its undesired long-term results. From what you've written, I don't see this as a sin per se, but it would be a sin if you didn't need that medication but were hooked on it to give you some other desirable result. Lay the matter before the Lord & bring this to your doctor's notice - I'm sure he will pursue a course of action to help you, and the Lord will understand that in your desire to please Him, you are making every effort to rid yourself of this addiction. The first stage of being concerned & sorry for what is happening, is to take positive steps to deal with it. As you commit your steps to the Lord, He will open up the way further & enable His Spirit to give you the strength to deal with it in your heart. Just continue to trust the Lord & be led of His Spirit.
But I would ask, as you clearly believe in the Gospel of our Lord, what do you believe that the death of Christ accomplished? And this question pertains to what God requires & also to the benefit of mankind.
Why I ask this supposedly simplistic question is because this matter came up some years ago when a couple of folk calling themselves Jehovah's Witnesses, spoke to me about the wonderful Paradise & freedom of suffering that awaits all men - & wouldn't I want to be a part of it? This matter soon progressed to a person's death & subsequent resurrection to enjoy this bounty from God. And this further progressed to the reality of Hell, to which they clearly don't subscribe to. And ultimately they stated that all the righteous ones (presumably those who followed Jehovah's Laws) would live in this paradise, whilst those who refused Him, would remain in the grave. I took them to task on this belief & they finally left without answer.
Without sharing the full matter here, I wonder if you see anything credible in that discussion, but especially, what did Christ's death accomplish, towards God & to man? And btw, Luke 16:26 was the Lord's Words, not man's.
You believe God's word teaches HELL, yet:
Psalms 22:27 All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the Lord: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.
Have any of God's prophecies not COME TO PASS.
The doctrine of HELL contradicts this prophecy. If the word Hell was misapplied in translation and the word GRAVE applied correctly, then you no longer have a contradiction.
Amen. A very powerful observation!
I can be very hardheaded and stubborn as anybody. I continue to pray for the obedience and submission that you talk about!
God Bless.
Psalms 49:15 But God will redeem my soul from the power of the GRAVE (Heb. sheol): for he shall receive me. Selah.
Hosea 13:14 I will ransom them from the power of the GRAVE (Heb. sheol)...
I wonder why the translators didn't translated the Hebrew word, sheol, into the word HELL, in the above scriptures. Probably it would have destroyed their HELL doctrine.
I appreciate your response. Regarding John 3:5 You state: "Born of water - this has nothing to do with baptism by water."
It reads clear to me that Jesus is saying in John 3:5 we must be reborn/baptized with water and receive the Holy Spirit. The water and Spirit go together - can't separate these two! Jesus stated these two (Water/Spirit) together for a reason.
I believe baptism in water is NOT an optional part of salvation, but is the act that initiates our salvation Romans 6:1-6
Galatians 3:26-27 and leads to the forgiveness of sins.
Lastly, I believe that we are saved today, the same way people have been saved since the day of Pentecost Acts 2:38
No quarrel here, just quoting scripture, and my current understanding and belief regarding baptism. Currently, you have not quoted any scripture that would change my mind about this requirement.
God Bless.
Psalms 31:17 Let me not be ashamed, O Lord; for I have called upon Thee; let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the GRAVE (Heb. sheol).
Psalms 55:15 Let DEATH seize upon them, and let them go down quick into HELL (Heb. sheol), for wickedness is in their dwellings and among them.
Two scriptures about the destination of the wicked; yet one goes to the GRAVE and the other goes to HELL. Both translated from the same word, sheol.
The WAGES of sin is DEATH, when you die you go to the grave (sheol).
Nash, I am from the Middle East, I am a Christian by birth and know exactly what you are going through. However, keep your ways and steps following and trusting in JESUS, focus on HIS Grace and love. You are so lucky to see JESUS in your dreams and visions. I did see HIM too and I test to that. It was awesome and life changing even though I am a believer in CHRIST since birth.
HE loves you so much, but you have to be the preacher of the WORD, because JESUS is the WORD. HE chose you between millions and millions on this planet, HE knows that you are strong and responsible to carry HIS cross.
If JESUS told you not to say yet, don't say it. However, you can test to everyone that you saw HIM whether they like it or not. Follow and obey JESUS only, HE is the Life, the Truth and the Way.
You are blessed forever.
Job 17:13 If I wait, the GRAVE (Heb. sheol) is mine house, I have made MY BED in the darkness.
Psalms 139:8 If I ascend up into heaven, You are there: if I make MY BED in HELL (Heb. sheol) behold, You are there.
Same Hebrew word (sheol); YET Job makes his bed in the GRAVE, but King David makes his bed in HELL.
Do you not see a contradiction in the single word, sheol, being TRANSLATED having two different meanings, when they should mean the same thing.
Would you say both should have been translated GRAVE, or do you think both should have been translated HELL.
You will find the same thing in the New Testament, the Greek word, Hades, translated one half of the time GRAVE and one half the time HELL.
No wonder man is deceived.
God bless you.
