Well said. God always wants us to be in right fellowship with Him, and we are made righteous in Christ. When we sin after coming to believe, we can confess our sins and we will always be forgiven and strengthened to resist sin and the evil one as we lean on God's mercy and grace to do all that He promised to do for and in us, because of Jesus, our Lord.

I've never heard that about Isaiah 33:22 being the fundamental reason for the three branches of our system of government. Interesting.

Hello, Mishael again. Can you also explain your statement that Jesus set aside His Deity in His incarnation. My understanding is that He remained fully God as well as fully man in His incarnation, but emptied Himself of is heavenly Glory that had shared with the Father in eternity past. I appreciate hearing more of from you on this. Thank you.

    Hi Mishael,

I am trying to understand your post better concerning Satan and Adam's mandate. My understanding is tat both Adam and Satan are created beings, but one is created a human being ,and Satan a spiritual being (a cherub). Please explain tis one part a bit more for me. I appreciate it.
  • Mishael - In Reply - 4 years ago
Jesus came to earth to be born a legitimate human. THE SON OF MAN.

It's Important because Satan possessed Adams mandate; but he didn't have a human body because he (satan) was a created being.

Lesson today, satan NOR demons have authority to possess a human. They can__possess a willing human. And the illegal spirit can invite other spirits inside too.

Through a plan that spanned from Genesis to Bethlehem, Jesus was born as a human baby. He had set aside His deity and powers to accomplish this: a legal human baby (the Son of Man) and also the Son of God. The Messiah, who

Went to the Cross to permanently take back everything Satan STOLE from Adam.

Through Jesus we can receive Salvation and work the works that Jesus did. If we're available, Jesus is able. Oh wow, because we can be filled with the Holy Spirit. Third person of the Godhead.

It just thrills me to pieces to set my feet on the floor, mornings. Every day is exciting opportunity to share Jesus with most folks I run into. It's like having a wallet full of gift cards to give away free.

    Hallelujah!!

Hi Chris Thanks for the info but what I addressed had nothing to do with that also like you said your not saying the talmud is truth so I will stick with what I know Is. I'm thankful for the [figure of speech] Fire of the spiritual gift of Holy spirit that helps to cleans me of error or sin after I was born again. An interesting custom in the east is that in the houses they kept a candle burning 24/7 to represent the presences of God it is to this day part of their culture.

    Brother Dan.

    My view on John 3:5.

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. "Born of water" This has nothing to do with baptism by water. If this baptism have anything to do with this section of scripture it would be in verse 6 where Jesus says "That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirt. Romans 6:4. The water mentioned here I believe is the word of God!

John 17:17. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. " The cleansing sanctifying power of the word!"

John 15:3. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

Hebrews 4:12. The word is alive!! A person must be born again by the use of the scripture and its the Holyspirit taking the scripture and using it. I've heard it put like this, You have Spirit of God using the word of God through the man of God.

Verse 11: Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We "SPEAK" that we do know, and "TESTIFY" that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

It takes the spirit of God to be obedient to the word of God. It takes the spirit of God to receive the word of God. And it take the word of God to receive the spirit of God through baptism of the Holyspirit.

I haven't heard one person on this site said they wasn't baptized, So why quarrel about obedience in that regard? But many of us say it wasn't to add to what Christ done on the cross. Is that disobedience? If you believe keeping some ritual or commandments is your way to salvation, What does the cross mean to you? Christ wasn't sacrificed "JUST IN CASE YOU FALL SHORT" He was sacrificed because you couldn't. He paid the penalty BECAUSE YOU ARE ALL READY GUILTY.

    God bless.

    Hey brother Earl,

Thanks for your reply, I will meditate on what you shared, and I mean that. I agree, that compassion for those who do not have a clue where their going is bitter, and by sharing the word we can receive some bitter remarks. I cannot place us as John as prophesying to others after the resurrection. I feel we have different understandings of after resurrection but that is ok.

    God bless,

I kinda think we hurt our fellowship with the Father if we sin willfully. That's why we need the blood of Jesus. Jesus died for all sins and then sat down at the right hand of the Father; and became our Advocate.

And so the taunts of Satan before the throne. He's not Omni-present, but he sees plenty.

Do our hearts condemn us? That is a heart that still loves Father and Son. The Holy Spirit is going to convict us. That's his Ministry. John 14:20, 26 and John 16:8-14. Especially John 17, all.

He wants us to be one. This is prone to happen when we practice evangelism on each other. We were told to GO YE INTO OUR WORLDS or ALL the world. Love turned inward becomes sterile.

Lately I've seen many interesting artifacts being found in Israel, including amazing finds of Biblical text, it led me to looking into Israel Antiquities online, something like "Israel Watchman", & other links. I believe I ran across creditable maps in those searches. I wasn't looking for maps at that time so I just kept looking. Hopefully these are helpful hints. If you don't find any, I can try a search for you.

Hello David. The Bible does not specify what happened to the fire on the Altar whilst Israel was on their march. Just as we don't know how the Shewbread on the table ( Exodus 25:30) was replaced. I understand most scholars agree that the Fire was extinguished for the duration of the march, but re-lit whilst in situ near the Tabernacle. Likewise, the Shewbread was replaced by a synchronized sliding in of the new Bread as the old one was removed.

It's interesting that the Jerusalem Talmud has this to say about it (for your interest only & not as declared Truth):

"Rabbi Yohanan said, "Even during transport the fire was not allowed to go out". What did they do? During transport they covered the fire with a copper hood. Rabbi Shimon said, "During transport they tended the fire in a separate vessel, not on the altar itself".

Whether Jews today still accept the belief of those Rabbis, I'm unclear.

There seems to be several times that occurs throughout the Bible, Is it to show us to view each person individually? Several were opposites, yet similar; is that to inspire us to be our best? Luke 7:19-28,

Interestingly Saul, Saul/Paul, 1 Samuel 15, Acts 13:9, Saul continued to do wickedly, Saul/Paul repentantly changed Acts 8,

    Tamar, Tamar, 2 Samuel 13, 2 Samuel 13:19-20, Genesis 38, 1 Chronicles 2:4, Ruth 4:12,

    Manasseh, Manasseh: Joshua 17:1-18, Genesis 48:14,20, 2 Chronicle 30:11, Psalms 108:8, Jeremiah 15:4, 2 Chronicles 33:1, Isaiah 9:28, 2 Chronicles 33:10,22,

Lazarus, Lazarus, John 11, John 12:10, John 12:1-3, Luke 16:20, was one rich one poor?

    Etc.

This is OUTRAGEOUS. The Biden DOJ is investigating PARENTS as terrorists for standing up for their children at school board meetings.

We've seen parents nationwide vigorously standing up for their kids, following the Constitution to petition the government at local school board meetings and coming out in droves in recent elections.

Now, Biden's DOJ is weaponizing the counterterrorism taskforce to "tag" and investigate parents as a "threat." Biden Attorney General Garland misled - or LIED TO - Congress, testifying that he "couldn't imagine" this happening - yet there's a DOJ/FBI memo laying it out in detail.

But it gets worse, the Biden DOJ is literally comparing parents standing up for their kids - our kids - to drug lords and human traffickers.

**At the ACLJ, we've seen this before. I defended pro-lifers decades ago when the federal government tried to frivolously prosecute pro-life protesters under RICO statutes as organized crime. We won. And just a few years ago, the Obama-Biden IRS and Lois Lerner tried to use the FBI and DOJ to "piece together" "criminal charges" against conservative groups. We defeated them in court.

We already have a team of lawyers looking into this, and we're ready to go to court if necessary to defend parents - YOU - from President Biden's radical targeting. Concerned parents are not a threat. We're defending parents.

    Petition on their website.

    Google it on YouTube.

Hi Dean . Personally I don't believe there is such a thing as superficial faith . You either have faith or you don't . All I can say is that when it's tested , you will know if you have it or not . I hope that came out ok . I don't feel as if mine has ever been tested . When I look back through my life I'm amazed that I didn't notice that some one was looking after me and it wasn't a human being that's for sure . Now I can recognize God in my life when I look back , but often , when you are in the thick of things , tied up in this world , you don't notice the miracles going on around you . I feel very blessed to still be alive and happy . A wealthy person has all they need , I am rich I think ! Stay strong and trust in God's love and mercy , it never fails , even when we do .

Cowboy Sir with all due respect God our Father so to speak is not an indian giver, just think about this, you can't tell me and no other believer can tell me that they walk by the spirit and don't sin 24/7 hrs. a day and honestly if i would

walk by the spirit 4hrs. a day that would be an accomplishment because that's saying you were at the right place at the right time where God wanted you to be and you said the right words with the right expression, with right compassion and the right tone that God wants and you did what he said to do at that moment the way He wanted it done. Now that is

walking with no sin, and if you can actually do that my hats off to you. That's why our sin nature was paid for by our Brother Jesus Christ to pay for the sins we will commit unintentionally after were born again. In the Gospel of John 1:29 it says behold the lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world, why doesn't it say sins because it was a complete

one time payment for past present and future for those who believe. Last but not least this is one of my favorite verses

Jude 24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling and to present faultless before the presents of His Glory with exceeding joy,[ It was great joy for Jesus christ to pay for us to present us spiritually with no fault unbelievable but true] So bottom line you choose what you want to believe but i'm not living as if a make a false move I'm toast

    God Bless

Abraham The revealed word and will of God concerning creation and mans and from Genesis 3:15 to revelation 22:21 the bringing to pass of his only begotten Son our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is the only book with all truth on mans redemption and what man needs to be complete body soul and spirit to Walk with God. Luke 4:4 man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

It is the only book that gives the truth about heaven, the world to come and the spiritual battle that is Going on between God and the devil or Satan. It is the only book that gives the truth on the supernatural the spiritual

operation of God and satan. It is the only book that when you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart Romans 10:9+10 that you receive the spirit of God and get Born again. It Is Perfect and no other book in the world can make that claim, it is written by men that were told what to write by the Spirit of God 2 peter 1:20+21. It is perfect scientifically

laws of physics mathematically all of creation is answered and penned by Gods Hand. If you choose to believe you can't really live without it!

  • Earl Bowman - In Reply on John 21 - 4 years ago
Amen and Amen, Brother Ronald, I would like to tell you what has been revealed to me in studying God's word.

Revelation is signified, so most nouns represent something other than what a dictionary would define them.

I believe, the BOOK, is Christ, The WORD, the BOOK, of life, of truth, of wisdom, etc., etc., all things.

Christ told us that we had to eat his flesh and drink his blood, he is our food and water.

I believe the same applies to the open book (Christ), we eat the book, as we eat his flesh.

It's sweet in our mouth because it has brought TRUTH TO US, it is bitter in our belly because we see our brothers (the world) that has NOT YET been GIVEN this Knowledge.

But we will again prophecy to our brothers after they are resurrected back to their flesh here on earth, the SECOND time.

Isaiah 11:9 .....for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.

    God Bless You!

The holy angels in heaven are sinless and not divine. Jesus is not begotten or God because He is sinless, He is God because He has always possessed the essential divine essence and eternal tri-unity that sets Jesus, the Father, and the Holy Spirit apart as solely God alone.
  • David - In Reply - 4 years ago
Hi Earl With all due respect the fire in the bush did not consume it, it was to get moses attention so God could speak to Him, Elijah had an altar built and the fire of God came down and consumed the alter, many times when elijah called down fire it was dealing with unbelief. It's very interesting that in the Gospel of Mathew 3:11=12 we are baptized in Holy spirit and with fire signifying as we walk in the faith of Christ putting on Hods Word the old man nature gets burned up the chaff.

You are correct thank you that many times fire signifies spiritual cleansing.

    Hello Cowboy,

I am very secure in my salvation. Why? Because I'm trusting in the one who saved me and not in myself to keep myself saved. Thanks for sharing John 10:29. Yes, Jesus did say that no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. Then you immediately put a "but" in there and say that we can take ourselves from the Father's hand. If that were the case, wouldn't Jesus have said that? I know of no place in scripture that says I can pluck myself out of the Father's hand.

It is interesting that you say that when we sin, we lose our salvation and fall from grace and during that time we are not known by Him. Those aren't your exact words but that's the message I'm getting.

If we lose our salvation when we sin, I would think our salvation would be lost quite frequently, wouldn't you agree? Are you saying we can lose salvation, get it back, lose it again, and get it back? That's what would happen if we were to lose our salvation every time we sin.

Yes, God knows His sheep. He will always know His sheep. If we sin, He still knows us and He deals with us. Sometimes His chastisement can be very harsh.

My friend, if you are insecure about your salvation, I am sorry to hear that. I am very secure in mine. I've been given eternal life. God's Spirit has sealed my spirit. I cannot break that seal.

In John 10:28, Jesus says And I give unto them eternal life; Number one, that is pretty secure. How long is eternal? Forever! And they shall never perish. How long is never? Neither shall any man pluck them or snatch them out of my hand. There's no "but." No man would include myself!

Umm, Jesus' Divine nature was never created. He became incarnate. But that is a different matter. We grow as Christians to imitate His character, godly (not gods) and eager to do the will of the Father.
  • Gigi - In Reply - 4 years ago
    Mishael,

Thanks. The belief that Jesus is fully human and fully God has been the standard doctrine affirmed through the church since the time of the apostles. The belief that Jesus is not God, only human has always been affirmed as heresy in all ages of the church. I understand that we should not quibble about minor things, but this really is the paramount teaching of Christianity. Trinitarian belief is at the heading of all of the creeds of the church.

Scripture says that Jesus affirms that He is the I Am of the Old Testament. This name means that He is eternal. From eternity "past", "present", and "future" exists. Only God has an existence like that. I parenthesize the time terms because God exist outside of Time and Space. W just have a hard time imagining tat concept without thinking about time.

Good thoughts, there, thanks for reminding us that Jesus is the center of our faith and lives.

The Jews could not accept Jesus because e claimed to be God and the monotheism of Judaism cannot accept a "rival" god to who they knew as YHWH. They did not spiritually understand the many references to the Triune God in the Torah. They were spiritually blind, dull of mind, hard of heart, and "plugged their ears" to what the Torah and Jesus revealed. It is interesting that the Shema which is recited by observant Jews, Says, "Hear O Israel, the Lord, the Lord our God is One". I always wondered why God just didn't say, "I am the only God" as the Shema. But I think that saying that He is One is speaking to the future revelation of Son and the Holy Spirit, that there are not three separate gods, but a union of Three Persons that constitutes the One True God.

  • Ronald L Whittemore - In Reply on John 21 - 4 years ago
    Hi Eric,

This one will be a hard nut and it may be empty when you crack it, as in John 21:20-23, Peter was showing he was jealous of John and what Jesus said, maybe Jesus was telling Peter it is not your concern, just follow me and feed His sheep. There was a rumor started that John would not die but Jesus did not say that. Other verses may spur interest relating to John's possible living longer, in Revelation 10:8-11.

The little book that was open that John was told to eat. If the book was open, does that mean it did not contain a mystery or a secret? Did it contain what the seven thunders had uttered, that John was told to seal up and not to write? John was told thou must prophesy again; will that be in the future? Is it written in the rest of Revelation that John had not written down yet?

The Bible does not record the death of John, but there are theories out there you may research those, there is one they boiled him in a pot of oil. I would like to give you more scripture for you to study but this may not have an answer and only come to speculation.

God bless and let the Spirit of truth guide you.
