Satan who deceives the WHOLE WORLD

EVERYONE starts out as a god of this world, were are being CREATED a NEW MAN, a god of the WORLD TO COME.

The god of this world (Satan). We start out as the children of Satan ( John 8:44):

We END as children of GOD

We begin as the image of the beast (Satan)( Revelation 13:14-15)

We END the image of God

2 Corinthians 11:14 An no marvel, for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

2 Corinthians 11:15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers (gods of THIS WORLD) also be transformed TO MINISTERS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS (gods of the WORLD TO COME)......

Romans 12:2 And be ye not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed be THE RENEWING OF YOUR MIND ...

Please, Sasha, I think that it is disrespectful to question if a professed believer needs the Holy Spirit. You were not in my heart when I felt that "red flag", so you cannot be a judge as to whether I need the Holy Spirit or not. I, for myself, do not make such statements to people who are brethren. I assume that they have the Spirit and that He is at work in each person. I believe in thinking the best of people on this site, as well as being honest and thoughtful with what we say. I was intending to be that to Rick, to whom I addressed my post.
  • GiGi again - In Reply - 4 years ago
I know the Holy Spirit never gets anything wrong. Us, meh, more frequently than we really know.
  • GiGi again - In Reply - 4 years ago
    Rick,

Thanks for the explanation. I later did think that perhaps your were being humorous, but it did hit me in a way that sent up "red flags" in my spirit. I wish you well. For myself, if someone wanted to exhort me to listen more and talk (write) less, I would want that person to say exactly that. I would not be offended by such straight-forward speaking. If you were just referring to yourself, then that is where I would think that you were being humorous.

Glad we have had an opportunity to speak further on this.
  • GiGi - In Reply - 4 years ago
Very good explanation. Thanks. Yes, Jesus, fully God and fully man, rose with His body. The human and God union He possessed was not separated when He ascended into heaven. The change in heaven is that His human body is glorified, as ours will be as we are resurrected. This is classic orthodox teaching.

I do not concur with your interpretation, nor does the church through the ages.

Hi Rick , please never worry about offending me , I'm English ! This means I have two things , a very thick skin and a good sense of humour , have you seen any monty python ? No worries , I also don't mind being corrected when I'm in the wrong . I've made loads of jokes on here but they have all so far fallen on stoney ground . I shan't give up though , neither should you , much love in Christ .

    Kent ,

Thanks for your reply. Mankind and spiritual beings do not have the essence of what God. at makes God. Perfect holiness is one aspect of His essence. but not His total essence that distinguishes Him as wholly apart from His created beings. The angels that did not rebel are perfect, in that they have never sinned, but they are not gods. The Scripture does speak of them as sons of god. Redeemed mankind will hold a place before God that may be higher in rank than the angels, but there will be no other created being that can acquire God's essence that makes Him immensely unique and His eternal perfection from everlasting to everlasting. I cannot concur that God will make any one He has created a god, that would be worthy of praise or worship.

    I am prayerful about it.

I am humbly asking for prayer for this dark hole that I have slipped into. I am really suffering from major depression, and I am at major risk of losing my job and the roof over my head. I am asking for prayer for a miracle to occur in my life to turn things around. I know that God has all the power to do this and so much more. Thank you, Prayer Warriors, for doing what you do. Prayer changes things.

Earl In a lot of your scripture I see contrast being made is between the True God and the idolatrous gods being worshipped

and if my understanding is correct in exodus Moses being called out at the time to be Gods leader was Going to display his word and works through Moses defying Pharoah power and authority to deliver his called out people. In psalms 103:7 He made His ways known unto moses his acts unto the children of Israel. There are other men of God that did the miraculous but that doesn't make them gods.

Thanks David. Yes, it is sort of amusing. And these were religious leaders!

The King James and others interpreted Malachi 1:11 in the future trend. The correct interpretation is on the present trend. Who then is God referring to? Who is worshipping properly, accepted by God, in contrast with the Jews of that time?

To be born again you have to be baptized.first believing that Jesus is the Son of God.then baptized in Holy Spirit in water.then you will be added to the Churchill teaches that in the book of Acts chapter2

Hello Peter Good Morning this is what we know John 20:19 He could Appear instantly. John 20:26+27 You could still touch Him. John 20:5-7 appears to have literally raised out of the clothe he was buried in. Also Acts 1:11 appears he could defy gravity. You tell me I just Know its what we have to look forward too.
  • Jesse - In Reply - 4 years ago
    Peter,

My understanding is that Jesus rose from the grave in a physical body. He also ascended to heaven in a physical body. John's account of the resurrection shows that the tomb was opened and the linen cloth that was wrapped around Jesus' body was still there, but no body. If He rose in Spirit only, the body would still be there.

Also, in Matthew Chapter 28, Jesus makes a personal appearance after He rose from the grave. He had to have been in a physical body because Matthew 28:9 tells us that Mary Magdalene and the other Mary actually grabbed Him by the feet. And then we know from what Jesus says to Thomas in John 20:27 that He had to be in a physical body because Jesus told Thomas to touch him. You can't feel spirit.

But to answer your question about the nature in which He exists right now, whether it be flesh and blood, flesh and bones, or Spirit?

1 Corinthians 15:50 tells us that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God. We see in Luke chapter 24 that they thought Jesus was a spirit. But Jesus says in Luke 24:39, "Touch me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have." It is interesting that He doesn't say flesh and blood, but flesh and bones. Could the reason for Him saying that be because He shed all His blood at the cross?

Jesus ascended in bodily form. In Acts 1:11, these two in white apparel said "Ye men of Galilee." Notice that they were called Galileans. I don't know if you are aware of it or not but all of the disciples were Galileans except for Judas. He's the only one that was not a Galilean. He was from the city of Iscariot outside of Galilee. So he's telling them that this same Jesus which is taken up from you into heaven shall so come in like manner as you have seen Him go into heaven.

So if He was seen ascending into heaven in bodily form, and we are told that He will return in the same manner, I would have to believe that He is now at the right hand of the Father in a flesh/bones/glorified body!

(And please help Joel to have a more positive attitude. He lives in a home with constant negativity. God protect him and put up an invisible shield of protection around him so that he hears and dwells more on any positivity that he would be drawn to it. )

    Thank You

Brother James, If you STUDY the Book of Job as a prophecy of Christ and as a SHADOW of CHRIST it will began to make more sense.

Christ lost all his children: the natural Israel, but received more children when he birthed the TRUE Israel. (new covenant).

You will see the parallel with much STUDY, you can't just read and understand.

Dear all, dont forget in all this wisdom and belives,

    Matthew 3:13

Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.

What was the meaning of that? And how can it not be necessary?

And we need to understand that Paul was with ppl who have a lot of different styles, and he meet a lot of ppl who was full of disbelief and mm. And at last Paul said in

1 Chorinthians 2:4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power

    And after in

    1 Chorinthians 3:22 Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;

23 And ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's.

2 Chorinthians 11 21 I speak as concerning reproach, as though we had been weak. Howbeit whereinsoever any is bold, (I speak foolishly,) I am bold also.

22 Are they Hebrews? so am I. Are they Israelites? so am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? so am I.

23 Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft.

24 Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one.

Paul could do anything too save some ppl to the Lord. God bless u all in Christ

Evan Paul get baptised: sorry cant find it today.

Sister GiGi, here are more scriptures that say we are going to be gods. In the Hebrew text the words were never capitalised.

Exodus 7:1 And the Lord SAID unto Moses, See, I HAVE MADE thee a god unto Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.

Joshua 22:22 The LORD God of gods, the LORD God of gods ......

Psalms 82:6 I have SAID ye are gods, children of the most high.

Psalms 86:8 Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord, neither are there any works like unto thy works.

Psalms 95:3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great king above all gods.

Psalms 97:7 Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boost themselves of idols, worship him, all ye gods.

Psalms 97:9 For thou, Lord, art high above the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.

Psalms 136:2 Give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth forever.

Psalms 138:1 I will praise the with my whole heart; before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.

Zechariah 12:7 The Lord also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah.

Zechariah 12:8 In that day shall the Lord defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the HOUSE OF DAVID shall be as God, as (the image of) the angel of the lord (that is) before them (the gods).
