Hi Gigi The answer to one of your questions is in 2 Timothy which is a leadership epistle, chapt. 1:13-15 Paul states all asia has turned away from sound doctrine. This guy was given the knowledge of the operation of the body of Christ in the age of grace Ephesians 3:1-7. That is an unbelievable because he witnessed in acts to all asia in 2 years and 3 months, and except for a handle full of believers they all were practicing doctrines of men. This was written less than 70 years after the birthday of the church. So how bad since then has the corruption of other doctrine have gotten. Its really something to think about. Yes I read the the Church Epistles a lot written to the Church of God not saying i don't learn a ton in the Gospels or the rest, and too boot it all fits like a well fitting wet suit!

I cannot understand this verse. If the demons are spirits; how can they drown by just entering the pigs?

The 7th day was the day GOD rested,and yes that is sabbath( exodus 20:8-11)this is the Mosaic law but we today honor the 1st day of the week to worship as that is the Day Jesus made the new convenant by rising from the grave. We are no longer under the mosaic law but the new convenant which He made us free, he won the victory and defeat hell and the grave, making it possible for us to be with him in heaven when he returns for us. So we worship on this the first day of the week. There is no command that either saturday or sunday be the day of worship. Refer to Romans 14:5-6 and make your own mind.

Gigi Its in corinthians. Here's an example nor reading in detail, I was one time taught that speaking in tongues which a lot of people don't believe in that's ok its a special gift. I know many pastors that didn't believe in doing that talked to a friend of there's that did showed them what the word said and they did it. In Corinthians chapter 12 Paul in verse one and four says gifts then in verse 7 it says manifestation of the spirit, there is a big difference between gift and manifestation, I can receive something inwardly but the proof is the display in the senses realm, Jesus Christ displayed Gods power in the realm of the senses. He showed spiritual power.

Hi , I don't feel the need to get into a big discussion about water baptism , I believe that Acts Ch 8 is written for my benefit and learning . Obedience and submission . Not words that too many people like today . Acts Ch 8 says it all as far as I'm concerned , if people wish to disregard it that's up to them . I don't need any more convincing .

Acts Ch 8 is all I need . I dont feel the need to talk about it as for me Acts Ch 8 says it all . If some people wish to ignore that chapter or discount it as invalid today then that's their business . Nothing can convince me that that chapter is not written for my learning and benefit .

Gigi I understand this because all over the old testament the wicked are known as useless which in genesis with the flood the only righteous man on the planet was Noah so God knew he had to clean house, we are on the same page just stating a little differently, the grace in the old testament is there are time when people came to children of israel and said we want your God His way that's grace.

To those that say we DO NOT have to be water baptized is to ignore what Jesus tells us in this scripture:

John 3:5

"Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God."

Remember: John 12:48

"He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day."

I sure don't want to be the one to reject Jesus and receiveth not his words.

Timothy This is some heart, when I got born again all of my friends were dopers including guess who. Now all I knew is wow something happened and I didn't want the stuff any more, but I still considered these guys friends I knew them for years. Went to a friends house where they lit up passed it arouncame to me and I said don't need it or want it any more. The fun began why not, are you a narc now are you crazy, if you don't do this we are no longer friends. Then I said I because I was more hurt than anything, at one time none of us did this and we were friends and now that I say I don't want to smoke anymore we're not friends that's insane. I walked out a little confused and hurt but my heart said its O.K.

I did get to witness eventually to all them but of course they considered me nuts.

One of the things to help with deliverance is completely new associations which God can and will provide trust me he did it for me and I'm a nobody. I've had in my personal life many signs wonders and miracles because they follow those that believe, I don't argue I disagree with some things stated.
